The national borders in which we live our lives on earth are of only passing importance in the grand scheme of eternity. There is only one kingdom to which we are ultimately called, and sharing Christ’s invitation to become a citizen there is one of the noblest duties we can perform.

I've been riding my electrified tricycle for awhile now and I've worked out some bugs with some bugs to go. I bought a trailer and I bought a set of solar panels. I built a platform for the trailer to mount the solar panels on and now I have to replace the rear wheels of the tricycle to upgrade them to beefier spokes and no-flat solid tires. In the trash dumpster by my place I found a "dash" to

At last I've reached a major milestone in my effort to outfit myself for my planned trek across America: The Cobalt Blue Schwinn Meridian Tricycle I ordered finally arrived last evening and I've just finished assembling it and taking a maiden voyage. Next is to build my trailer and get better batteries and solar panels. In the mean time I can now get around and begin making contacts in

A comedian on Comedy.TV said: To those who feel,      Life is a tragedy. To those who think,      Life is a comedy. I laughed along with the audience. But it also got me to thinking. Feelings. Logic. All are capable of both. But not all have both in balance. When out of balance, problems arise. My advice: Whether you are ruled by your feelings or are ruled by

It really bothers me to witness these teachers protesting. These are not the impoverished masses crying out for food to ward off starvation. These are the people we allow to teach our children. And I, for one, do not like what they are teaching with their unruly demonstrations and the many deliberate attacks on moral principles born of their own lusts. I really don't care what anybody else

Cairo simmers and the world watches to see if a new democracy will emerge in the Arab World. I found this in the Jerusalem Post: * * * * * * * QUOTE * * * * * * * ISRAEL’S INDIFFERENCE to democratization of the Arab world has been a cause of consternation for some of its traditional supporters in conservative circles in the US and Europe. Israelis are accused of provincialism. As citizens of

It seems that time drags by when you're waiting for things to happen. My low cash flow makes acquiring the requisite equipment a long drawn out affair. It tests my patience and determination. I wanted to get the tricycle last month and now another month is going to pass without funds to buy it. Oh well. It will happen in it's time.

The previous quote and the following quote are both from the book of Job. Did you guess correctly? ::: * * * * * * * * * * * * So these three men stopped answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes. A bit of poetic prose I found that made me take deep notes. This fine example of knighthood and Chivalric thinking was about a man considering his end and what he had done in his life. This excerpt seemed to me to sum up a perfectly righteous way of life. Can you figure out who said this and why? ::: * * * * * "When I went to the gate of the city and took my seat in the public square. The young

In his enthusiastic foreword to Robert Lewis's book, Raising a Modern-Day Knight, Stu Weber writes: "Our culture is in deep trouble, and at the heart of its trouble is its loss of a vision for manhood. If it's difficult for you and me as adult males to maintain our masculine balance in this gender-neutral' culture, imagine what it must be like for our sons, who are growing up in an increasingly

I feel like I'm doing time. I count the days from payday to payday. And this month (Oct) is the time to pay my final payment on the Hub Motor I've been purchasing ..... OR ..... Buy a used tricycle (supposedly recumbent and $2k new) for a mere $150. But the connection to the tricycle did not happen as planned so I've decided to go ahead and send in the last payment on the motor, Next month I'll

Have I said it before? Life is a Beach... and I live below the high tide mark. It seems like troubles just regularly roll over me. One after another. Time passes as I patiently wait for results and milestones and income. Time will try your patience.

Well here it is July 31 and I'm way behind in actualizing my plan to build the trike and trailer. Money is demanded from all angles and never goes far enough. Expenses do rise to meet income. Oh, well, tighten the belt and redouble the effort. I'll get there yet, if the Lord is willing.
