अवसरों की खोज में: एक आत्मविश्वास की कहानी

शहर की बेमिती पलकों में, वहाँ एक आदमी का रूप, बेरोज़गारी के आबा में लिपटा, अकेला दिल की धड़कन में, अवसरों के समुंदर में बहती एक अकेला आत्मा, जो कभी भी नहीं लगता उनके पास आने का रास्ता। हर दिन उलझन के भार से सवेरा होता है, एक उदासी और भ्रम की धुंध में, जैसे कि एक साया छाया की तरह चिपका रहता है।

उन्हें एक अलार्म क्लॉक की डरावनी गुंजाइश से जागना होता है, इसकी तीव्र क्रिया दुनिया के बेमिती मार्च का एक स्पष्ट याददाश्त कराती है, जबकि वे नौकरी आवेदनों और साक्षात्कारों के क़ब्रिस्तान के क़ाम का न करने वाली सड़कों पर कब तक खड़े रहते हैं।

सूरज, जो कभी एक आशा का प्रतीक था, अब उनके बेमिती अस्तित्व का मजाक बन गया है, जब वह आसमान की ओर बढ़ता है, लम्बी छायाएँ फेलता है जो भीतर की गहरी खालीकाई का परिचायक करती हैं।

शहर की धक्कड़बाज़ी, जो कभी जीवन का संगीत था, अब एक असमंजस्य गैरतंत्रक शोर की तरह लगता है, उनकी असामाजिकता के बीच एक स्वरूपवर्ण की यादगार है।

वे अकेलापन में घंटों बिताते हैं, अपने मूल्य और उद्देश्य को विचार करते हैं, सोचते हैं कि वे जीवन की यात्रा पर कहाँ गलत मोड़ लिया हैं।

उनके कमरे की दीवारें उनके विचारों की भार का साक्षी होती हैं, निराशा और टाली गई सपनों के साथ सजीव हो जाती हैं।

भ्रम जैसे एक दृढ़ धुंध, खुद के आत्मसंदेह की गहरी अंधकार को छाये डाल देता है। वे अपने चुनौतियों, अपने कौशलों, और अपने योग्यता को प्रश्न करते हैं, स्वाभाविक रूप से आत्मसंदेह की बेहद अंधकार में प्रकाश की खोज करते हैं।

फिर भी, इस उदासी के बीच, एक दृढ़ पुनर्निर्माण की किरण प्रकट होती है। वे दुख की गहराइयों में अपनी मजबूती की खोज करते हैं, असमंजस्य के बीच से उठने का निर्णय लेते हैं। हर अस्वीकृति पत्र एक सीढ़ी का पत्थर बनता है, हर विफलता एक सिखने का मौका है, और हर आंसू उनकी अटल आत्मा का प्रमाण होता है।

वे यह खोजते हैं कि जबकि बेरोजगारी उनके उद्देश्य को छीन सकती है, तो यह उनकी आशा की क्षमता को नहीं छू सकती।

He told himself as he took the seat,

He was unknown to this threat.
The one that made him fret.

Stripped of his shining armour of hope and faith.
He is still haunted by the wraith.

The effects of which tend to stay forever.
He mistook it as a sheer accident.

He had cuts on his hands
and life seemed tough.
He was told he is a weirdo and

should not bluff.
He has been strong all this while.
But now just could see the light.
He wrote a note to his father.

That was the last his father heard from Jason.

I want to ask that what on earth is wrong with our generation. We need to put an end to this, truly.

THE MASK

The remainder was getting fumbled;

And not getting to know the solution,

Will it be closed or stay all the time crumbled.

It is then, the quotient above the number;

Scanned the whole division and

Found the way to close the remainder.

The solution was such that the remainder;

Get jaw lined down for the rest of their time,

सरहद

मैं तीन मंज़िल के एक मकान मे रहता हु।

वो बालकनी जहा AC टेंगा हुआ है।

तीसरी मंज़िल पे वही मेरा घर हैं।
मेरा घर एक सरहद का काम करता हैं।
इसके एक ओर गगन चुम्बी इमारते हैं।

इन इमारतों में सैंकड़ो घर है।

इन घरो की खिड़कियों से मैंने किसी को भी।
कभी झांकते हुए नहीं है।

शाम ढलते ही मनो रौशनी जो कैद है।

इन्ही खिड़कियों से निकलने की कोशिश करती है।

मैं खुद इसका गवाह हु।

मेरे घर के दूसरी ओर एक बस्ती है।

इन लोगो ने अपने माकन ground floor

तक ही सिमित रखा है।

इन्हे नहीं पता की सरहद के उस ओर क्या है।

यह मुझे मेरे किराये के मकान मे देख

कर सोचते है की यह बहुत अमीर हैं।

यह सब मेरे घर में रौशनी कैद पते हैं

मई खुद इसका गवाह हु।

वो सरहद वाले।

मेरे घर की उम्मीद मे है।

और मै सरहद के उस ओर वाले की।

कभी न कभी हमारे हालात बदलेंगे।

सरहद के उस ओर वाले इस और आएंगे

की नहीं यह तो समय को ही पता है।

पर फ़िलहाल मेरा घर एक सरहद का काम करता हैं।

तो कुछ इच्छाएं उठीती है मन मे।

जो पिछले महीने की चिट्ठी जिसमे।
मेरा नाम तुम्हारे एक आंसू की बूँद ने मिटा दिया था।
संभाले रखीं है मैंने।
काश के हमारे बीच इतनी दूरी न होती।
तो तुम्हे रोज़ गुदगुदी करके रुलाता।
और तुम्हारे रूठ हो जाने पे पागलो सी हरकते करके मनाता।
तुम्हे सुलाता अपनी बांहों में भरके।
और सर्द सुबह मे अदरक के चाय की गरम।
प्याली ला कर के जगाता।
उन्ही सर्द रातों में तुम्हे ओढ़ता और तुम्हे ही बिछाते हुए।
खुद तुम्हारे अघोष में सो पता।
तुम्हारी हर अदा और नखरे को।
अपनी कविताओं में कैद कर पाता।
तो शायद यह पहाड़ सी ज़िन्दगी।
आराम से कट पाती।
पर हकीकत तो यह है।
की तुम वहा हो और।
मैं अपनी मजबूरियों के बोझ तले।
दबा हुआ यहाँ हू।
तुमसे बहुत दूर।
यह कुछ इच्छाएं है मेरी जो इस खत में लिख भेज रहा हु।
इसी वादे के साथ के गर इस ओर न पूरी हुयी यह।

वो जो दूर खड़ी आँखों में आंसू लिए मुस्कुरा रही है।

उसे बस इस बात की तस्साली है की मैं खुश हूँ।

उसने अपनी सारी उम्र मेरी ख़ुशी में खुश होके निकाल दिया।

वो जो दूर खड़ी आँखों में आंसू और होटों पे मुस्कान लिए दुआएं दे रही हैं।

उसे बस इस बात की तस्सली है की उसकी दुआयें काम कर गयी।

उसने अपनी सारी उम्र मुझे दुआयें देने में ही निकाल दी।

वो जो दूर खड़ी आँखों में आंसूं और होटों पे मुस्कान लिए झोला पकड़ के खड़ी है।

तुम जाके देख लो उसे आज भी तो एक ठन्डे पानी की बोतल और एक बिस्किट का पैकेट मिलेगा।

उसने अपनी सारी उम्र इस झोले को भरने में ही निकाल दी है।

अब तुम ही बताओ कोई कैसे मुँह मोड़ सकता है।

कोई कैसे इन आशाओं को तोड़ सकता है।

कोई कैसे इतना कठोर हो सकता है की मूड के भी न देखें।

कोई चिड़िया कैसे उसके आँगन में न चेहके।

क्या हुआ गर इसने कोई ज़िद पूरी नहीं की तुम्हारी।

क्या हुआ गर मारा तुम्हे इसने तुम्हारी भलाई क लिए।

क्या हुआ गर दूर कर दिया खुदसे तुम्हारे सपनो को पंख देने के लिए।

तुम समझते हो की इसने वो साल बहुत ख़ुशी में जिए है

तो तुम गलत हो।

मेरी मनो तो अब भी समय है पलट लो।

के कही कल देर न हो जाये।

यह इंसान तुमसे कही दूर हो जाये।

THE BRUSH

with the colours,

and started running;

with my stroke.

I was taking some time where,

I was trying to explain my goals;

to the brush.

It takes time,

to draw the track but

as the brush was losing the colour

the track was getting invisible,

It is then the canvas shout and

The brush was thud

to which it jumps in the colours.

As the tape of the track was getting close,

This time colours were getting finish,

It looked as if they are done

the brush started to jump

as fast as possible and

as the same is important

the brush started

making the track full with puddles

And in the last stroke

The track tape saw visible

but as I was watching my location

the track was full of invisible huddles.

Now I don't know should

I held my head high on the brush

or just break it down.

वो जो तुमसे कुछ बातें

अभी तक करनी बाक़ी है।

उन्हें कब करने का मौक़ा मिलेगा

इसका कोई अनुमान नहीं।

फिर भी हर रोज़ इस उमीद मे,

उठता हु की हो सकता है,

की आज वो मौक़ा मिल जाए,

पर हर बार वो रह जाता है।

वो परसों जब तुम्हारी आशियाना की तरफ़,

जा रहा था कि रास्ते में पूरी गाड़ी उलट गयी।

मुझे लगा की मेरा मौक़ा,

आगे के लिए बंद हो जाएगा।

पर ऐसा लगा की जैसे,

तुम्हारी अमीन मुझे रुकवा गयी।

अब हालात यह है की,

वो जो बातें करनी थी मानो,

अपना रास्ते को खो गयी।

मैं इस बात से ग़ुस्सा नहीं हु,

अपने आपको समझाया इस तरह मैंने,

की मानो तुम्हारी अमीन ने वो बातें,

सुनके ही मुझे रुकवाया था।

अब जब उन बातों को सुन चुकी हो

अपनी अमीन के साथ,

तो मिलना इतना ज़रूरी नहीं है अब,

बस वो अमीन मेरी तरफ़ भेज दिया करना हर रोज़।

मैंने आज वो folder

आख़िर delete कर दिया।

मैंने उसे कयी परतों में छिपा रखा था।

भारी मन से उस भरी हुए folder को,

हटा काफ़ी जगह बना ली है मैंने।

कयी सालों से क़ैद था मानो,

कुछ विडीओज़ ओर वो अनगिनत तस्वीरें।

वो जिसमें तुमने अपनी पीठ की तिल की

तस्वीर भेजी थी उसे भी delete कर दिया।

मैं जानता हु तुम कह नहीं पाती पर,

यही चाहती की मै उन्हें delete कर दूँ।

मुझे मालूम है तुम्हें भरोसा है,

की नीलाम नहीं करूँगा तुम्हें भरे बाज़ार में,

बस तुम्हें बताना था की बेफ़िकर हो जाओ अब।

वो हाथ जो हर महीने की 21 को

मेहँदी से रंग कर भेजती थी तुम

उन्हें भी delete कर दिया है।

बस कुछ तस्वीरें रखीं है हमारी पहली की

कुछ और इस आख़री मुलाक़ात की

उन्हें भी हटा दूँगा मैं बहुत जल्द।

पर वो फ़ोटो जो मेरे दिमाग़ की परतों मे

छपी हुई है उसे delete कर पाना

इस जन्ममे तो नामुमकिन सा लग रहा हैं।

मैं बेचैन था,

छूँ रहे थै सब बुलंदिया आसमान की

मैं सितारों के बीच,

चाँद की तरह छिपता रहा।

अकड़ होती,

तो कब का टूट गया होता मैं,

मैं था नाज़ुक डाली,

जो सबके आगे झुकता रहा।

बदले इनही लोगों ने,

रंग अपने अपने ढंग से,

रंग मेरा भी निखरा पर,

मैं मेहंदी की तरह पिसता रहा।

जिनको जल्दी थी,

वो बढ़ चलें मंज़िल की ओर,

मैं किनारा हुआ करता था कभी,

समंदर ने है मुझे पी लिया।

मैं समंदर के राज़ गहराई मे छुपाता रहा।

ज़िंदगी कभी भी ले सकती है करवट,

तू गुमान ना कर।

बुलंदिया छूँ हज़ार,

मगर उसके लिये कोई गुनहा ना कर।
बेतुके झगड़े,

कुछ इस तरह ख़त्म कर दिया मैंने।

जहाँ ग़लती नहीं भी थी मेरी,

वहाँ भी हाथ जोड़ माफ़िया माँग लिया मैंने।

I woke up today,

And I was in a different bay;

I had forgotten and before I could say,

They locked me up so I don’t stray.

I used to write poems and proses

With a depth meaning and

I still don’t give a fuck;

Even when the views are meagre,

At times I do see the cyclone;

That creates a clone,

Who watches the devil,

That hangs his shadow as a veil.

I don’t know how to steal the key;

At a moment when he cannot see.

It seems he wants my soul as a fee.

But the moment I open the lock;

I will be getting free.

The only thing I know,

I know that you don't know how;

To please everybody all the times,

Cause everybody fucking changing their minds.

A little bit faded, a little bit jaded.

Don't want to stop, won't be persuaded.

To write perceptions I can't believe in;

Written 250 poems and 50 quotes, only 650 likes,

6010 impressions have passed through these retinas;

And every single day I wish this number just increases.

The dying old hopes are just growing my new fears.

Don't know where I'm going, but I know how I got here,

I don't know where I'm running but I know how to run;

THE PLIGHT

I saw her in the supermarket yesterday.

She was with her son.

The time froze and

I couldn't decide whether to say hi or to run.

I was numb.

My eye lids refused to shut.

I was feeding of the sight.

The blood just evaporated from my body.

The brain was captivated in the plight,

And my heart.

My agile heart slowed down and skipped the beats.

I could feel the life being sucked out of me.

Hair tied up and held with a clutcher,

she looked just the same to me.

The shining silver hair were silky as ever.

I just wished if I could have her forever.

My feet just refused to listen to my brain.

Suddenly my heart started beating like a train.

I could feel my throat dry and palms colder.

Her son looked at me;

as I was about to tap on her shoulder

he said, "papa could you hold on to mom until I settle the bill."

A CUP OF MEMORIES

Waking up to that first cup of tea

Served in the bed.

Quite evident was the glee

From the cheeks that were almost red,

on that cold morning in the winter.

Thousands of stories shared

Over the cup of tea

Which was mostly paired

With those home baked cookies.

I still remember how you used to run

To check on the boiling tea.

I'd laugh at it every-time

The sight I'd get to see.

Now I don't see you running for the boiling tea.

Either you've figured out a trick or

Will I finally hear you say,

"It seems, age has finally caught with me"

But today on my death bed,

I want to thank you for

every cup of tea you made;

I don't think that your debt could ever be paid.

Your selfless love that you shared

With me,

Is this long journey that was possible

only because of these countless cups of tea.

INVISIBLE SHACKLES

I was handed a schedule which said

when to eat and when to piss.

Frankly speaking my life was a dark abyss.

Spent all the important years of my life

Searching for that one ray of light.

Which never had a purpose.

Doubt and hopelessness was fed

The shackles are hard to break

when invisible.

I can't comment on the fact if I was

capable.

One day when the sun did shine bright

I saw a faint ray of light

Make its way from a crack.

I was curious, so I followed its track.

It is not that I had options to choose,

I didn't seem to have as much to loose.

I dig deep all day all night.

Until I had the opening in sight.

I was exhausted to such an extent

That the shackles started to bend.

The feeling was so warm that

it helped evaporate my qualm.

I was free and hopeful all over again,

I was finally rid of all my pain.

Now when I sit alone at night

and wonder.

I am not afraid of the darkness or thunder.

Maybe it was necessary for me to experience pain.

So that I can be grateful of my gain.

FEATHER ON THE CLYDE

Last year,

In this time of the month

A body washed up on this beach.

It was a middle aged male

dressed in a business attire.

He was alive but unconscious,

He was shot on the leg and I was suspicious.

His hair were golden and eyes were green.

Had a familiar face, I thought I had seen,

either in the news or in some magazine.

I with the help of tommy and drake

pulled him out and took him to our shack,

got him into some dry clothes and kept aside his wet.

In the mean while Charles brought the vet.

The vet finished his diagnosis and ordered for some medicines.

In the mean time I prayed for all his sins and went for dinner.

After a couple of days the man finally woke up.

He enquired about the place where he was put up.

When he discovered that he was safe.

He asked for his clothes and a small case.

He told me all about his story, that he was a spy and how got shot and his life of glory.

He said that he is done with that life of his.

He said never goes by a day where he doesn't miss.

Miss, the simple pleasures of life.

A life with his children and his beautiful wife.

He started a new life and started fishing with us.

Later married Judith and finally had a wife.

By the end of fall, the the vet received a call,

It was Judith, she delivered a baby gal.

Just when Florence was a month old.

He had a feast in his house. He thanked me for saving him and this new blessed life.

Next day a few men in the same business attire came looking for him.

They said they came looking for a spy.

They threatened to burn the village if we tried to lie.

They caught hold of him and shot him right between the eyes.

And left him there to die.

MERCILESS

I am going insane,

and to regain my sanity I need beer.

But I have quit.

Yet every bit;

Of my body is craving for countless sips.

I am tired of these untimely kips,

I wanna sleep a good night sleep;

But every time I try I trip

Trip over these responsibilities that are haunting and stinkingly daunting.

I am supposed to get married at 27

The priest said so,

It is not him but the stars have communicated this

From the heaven,

To whom we pray.

I need to buy a house

And then a car too.

This burns a hole in my core.

I am sore

With no one to take care.

No one warned me that life was going to be so unfair.

One girl whom I fell in love with madly.

But I couldn't reflect hence catered

to the needs of everyone.

Every-time I close my eyes

I find myself screeching to be freed

of these shackles invisible to the human cornea.

I want my bloody narnia.

I keep banging my fists against this wall.

My knuckles are bleeding, I want to crawl

my way out somehow.

This dungeon keeps getting darker and darker everyday.

It is turning into a pit.

A pit that is bottomless.

And I keep falling deeper and deeper

THE FINAL FLIGHT

I was bought and

brought to entertain.

No, they could not understand my pain.

You see that

We don't speak the same tongue.

I'd sight the sky
from where I was strung.

I was fed

when they felt I would be hungry.

They would give me leftover or sundry.

I used to cry loud and

flutter around in this cage.

They would think I am trying to mock up a stage.

Sometimes my fellow comrades would come and

empathise with me.

But as the footsteps approach they would fly and

hide away in the tree.

I guess they didn't want to be prisoned.

I had company for a little while.

A fluffy beast with paws

would swing by sometimes.

By now I had no strength left to entertain

I assume that my throat didn't listen to my brain.

I would pass out in the middle of the noon.

I understood that I am gonna get freed soon.

Freed of this cage.

One fine day my human left the door unlocked.

I was so weak that I couldn't escape.

The fluffy beast sat there and

mocked me on being powerless.

I gathered all my strength and tried to take the flight.

But too my plight I hit the door and fell.

The beast saw this opportunity and

freed me from the living hell.
