Disclaimer: If you're expecting a close to mother nature post, you might want to skip this post cause it’s all about food.

Kuching has always been in my travel list and I am truly grateful that i made the decision to give it a go for the long weekend. This was not my first time to Kuching instead it was about a good 9 years ago. I was not able to explore more about this place hence this trip indeed was a remarkable journey for me.

1. Kueh Chap - Lau Ya Keng Foodcourt (Carpenter street)

Rate: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love the herbal taste and the smooth kueh chap. Definitely not of those fake soy sauce soup. Legit. Also, there was this famous pork satay at the food court too but I did not have a chance to taste it as it was sold out. I was there in the afternoon around 3pm, so be there earlier if you would like to give it a go!

2. Coffee - Black Bean Coffee

Rate: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love how therapeutic the coffee aroma welcome us from far and the real retro compact shop with only around 4 tables. Lucky that we got a very small wooden table. The coffee was good and so are the price. If you could not get a table, you would still have to take away, else too sorry for the price. You could get it and walk down in a bit and chill at the waterfront kuching.

3. Fishpro lekor (waterfront)

Rate: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Walk down waterfront kuching and look for fishpro kiosk for the worth to try keropok lekor sarawak. It was easy to spot this shop cause mostly the crowd is no kidding and so as the portion. This was an unplanned gem that i found as i accidentaly bum into my lovely buddy in kuching who is queue for it.

4. Char kueh teow – beside 333 char kuey teow

Rate: ⭐⭐

Initial plan was to try 333 char kuey teow but too bad it was close that day, so the grad driver just drop us at the stall just right beside it. Tasted the char kuey teow there, it was okay.

5. Laksa, popiah – Chong Choon Cafe

Rate: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The most famous laksa when you google for food in kuching and always crowded no matter what time. Anyhow the laksa was good and you can order a gigantic tea c peng special here! There was a few food stall and we give the popiah a go, it was okay for the popiah.

6. Kopicino, prawn noodle – loong coffee

Rate: ⭐⭐⭐

Came here just for the fancy coffee, kopicino, i guess it got the them from the cappucino. Coffee overloaded by the bubble, it was so so only. Also, this shop is a little bit further from the city area. They do serve prawn noodles too. Not a highly recommend but you could make way from the airport considering the distance.

7. Sunny hill ice cream

Rate: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The wise choice to quench the thirst from the Kuching heat wave, this ice cream is legitly good! I would suggest to get the one in the picture(with nuts and gula melaka). You know it was fresh when it does not melt even when you slowly take your time to enjoy it.

8. Ayam pansuh – siniawan

Rate: ⭐⭐

If you would like to make way here, i would recommend either you rent a car or do a chartered as it was a 45 minutes ride from the city. Dont worry you would not get lost along the way because they are considerate enough to put the road sign along the way to guide you to the night market. We tried out the ayam pansuh which basically is a traditional way of natives cook. You just stuff in any kind of meat and tapioca leaves, and spices up to your liking into a bamboo and cook under fire for hours. A special experience for the tourist and also you could get more option of food back there at the night market and enjoy the kampung air.

9. Kolo mee - Oriental Park Cafe

Rate: ⭐⭐⭐

First kolo mee in Kuching. Was amaze at the roasted pork taste like dry meat that we eat during CNY. But i feel that the meat was a bit too stiff and need more energy to chew it. Overall was okay.

10. Top spot

Rate: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well known halal seafood centre and i would say this is a must visit place. There are row of seafood shop waiting for your to choose. Please expect crazy crowd during dinner time.

11. The.dyak

Rate: ⭐⭐⭐

In case you need native food fix, you may consider here. The owner is very friendly and the interior of the shop is very captivating. However, the food was a little overprice in my opinion and i would high recommend the shop below instead if you want to taste the authentic local food with a good price.

12. The lepau restaurant

Rate: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is it, the shop for the local food with a very reasonable price and portion. If you are heading in a big group i would suggest you to make reservation because it was quite crowded during dinner time. You can order different kind of food and even can choose portion size. Very considerate. The staff was really friendly.

13. Laksa - Choon Hui Cafe

Rate: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

My last breakfast before i leave Kuching and it was only a walking distance from our stay. How convenient. The laksa here is more kaw than the one i have at choon chun. Personally i prefer the one at choon chun. The toast, kolo mee and coffee was okay too.

14. Sugarbun – kuching international airport

Rate: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is my all time favorite fast food ever. YOU ALL MUST TRY THIS when you happen to visit borneo. I know kl and johor have this already but i dare to tell you borneo’s one taste much better and original. I would highly recommend the rice set and it’s burger.

What To Prepare Before Road Trip

Hi lovely human.

This is a continuation to my previous post. After you plan for road trip, there are few steps too before you go for your road trip safe and sound.

Focus and meaning for todays topic

Road Trip- you will be driving to the location

Let's get started.

1. Check your vehicle condition

petrol - pump FULL tank the night before road trip. After your trip go and fill till FULL again and it would reflect how much you spend on petrol for this road trip!

tyres - pump according to the requirement for your car because it can save your petrol and you would have a smooth travelling moment in car.

engine oil - mostly it is the yellow tip, pull it out and wipe with tissue paper, insert fully and pull out. Then check whether the engine oil is between the two line place at the bottom of the steel stick

auto oil - this could come in red tip, repeat step as engine oil inspection. This is only for car function in auto.

wiper - fill the water for your wiper usage, better with wiper shampoo

brake oil - check the level of the brake oil, make sure it is not below minimum or else i would advice you to go for inspection.

2. Stay safe/secure

umbrella, handkerchief, tissues, wet tissues, sunscreen, hat/cap, sunglasses

3. Stay Connected

make sure your phone and power bank is fully charge to stay connected with the world

4. Stay Comfortable

wear the most comfortable outfits which is Instagram friendly too for road trip, do consider some light weight cotton and a pair of good shoes

5. Rest

this is the most important thing that you need to do to make sure the trip is smooth!

After make sure all above is good, you can now snuck into your bed and have a good sleep to prepare for your road trip!

How To Plan For Day Trip

As troubled as you may feel when you wanted to properly plan for day trip, I am here to help. Follow this guides and you're definitely good to go.

Focus and meaning for todays topic

Plan- arrange in advance

Day Trip- off in the morning and back at the end of the day

Let's get started.

1. Destination + Target

Where are you currently at? Johor

Where would you want to go for day trip? Muar

How long it would take to reach there? 2 hrs

What is your target/purpose for this day trip? FOOD + tourist spot

2. Google + Gather Information

Search:

Food in Muar, Hidden gems in Muar, Must Visit Places in Muar....

Take down all those food/places that caught your attention.

3. Filter your information

It's time for the ~~delete~~ or insert part into your

"Location List for My Muar Trip"

considering how much time is allocated for each.

*this is the most time consuming part but once you are crystal clear with your preferences and style, you would not took too long.

4. Mark/label location in google map app

*Phew*

Take out your phone and download the Google Map app!

a. Search each one of the location eg: Muar

b. Red pin is shown on the map, press on the pin and details of the location appear

c. select LABEL and put any name to your label (TO GO) and finished

d. this would ease you to navigate their location and detour would become piece of cake.

5. Plan B

Last but not least, prepare plan B to get yourself ready if the place your wanted to go is closed and you surely doesn't want it to ruin your trip mood!

无影的压力

现在人已在公司，外面下着倾盆大雨。

今天好想在这里打打字，因为最近的压力，好像越来越大。

它，看不见，摸不到，可是我渐渐感觉到它的存在感。

我其实开始想要放弃这份工。

我也害怕面对上司，因为很不好意思，我几乎根本就没做到什么。

每天的daily update报告也不写了。

原因是没有什么好写。我都没做到东西。

我是真心不好意思。

是因为手头上的project 很重要，别人要求完美可是我的能力真的很限制。

我每天求主怜悯我。

赐我力量面对这一切。

因为在打着这篇的时候，我好期待放工。

压力，好恐怖。

我也尽量努力去克服，把自己搞忙一点，才不会一直去想。

想，我是不是应该辞职算了。

换换别的工。

我不能不做工，因为爸爸还在努力赚钱还房子贷款。

以我这个能力，根本不能让爸爸退休。

我可怜的爸爸，是我们这孩子不争气。

没能让你早点休息。

我怎么飘到这来了，言归正传，我其实已经不想这份工。

我觉得这还不是我的兴趣。

也因为我还在寻找，也很需要钱过活，所以就还在这里。

看来，我真的要行动。

目标是，钱。

Kluang Day Trip | Food | Mural | Aw Pottery

Hello, my readers.

I am back! This time round to share with you guys my day trip to Kluang. It's a long weekend last week so never got it wasted. It was a planned trip, a food trip to be exact. I worked really hard to do the list and things that i wanted to do. However, 计划赶不上变化, things change and it's time to see how we cope with the changes to make the trip wonderful than ever.

Let's begin with food.

As i mentioned, by right this should be a food trip but it seems that we didn't get to try all of it. But, i really wanted to share with you guys as some are really recommended.

1. Kluang Railway Station

Kluang is famous for the coffee and here we are at our first stop. It was so crowded with people. Thankful we get ourselves seats in no time and ordered our breakfast. The breakfast is bloody cheap and coffee is the only thing recommended. We had their mee siam, nasi lemak, two curry puff, two pieces roast bread and each of us a coffee. Guys, guess what, it only cost us RM13.20. Although there are nothing fancy, cheap breakfast is definitely a go. Also, if you happened to park inside, you will need to pay RM1.05 which is actually okay. Sorry, no pictures of the food cause i'm too focus in swallowing the food haha.

2. Chua Seng Coffee Shop

I happened to found this place recommended by one of the blogger who is a local and she mentioned that their steam wholemeal square toast caught my attention and here i am for the 2nd breakfast for the 2nd tummy.

Bf's parents tried this 猪肠粉 (RM5) it's flavourful and the curry is not spicy. I personally loves the combination with pork skin. #sorrymalayreaders

And here you go, this is how they roast their bread/toast. There are normal white bread, square and round wholemeal bread and you can either have it roast or steam.

This is the close up for the steam wholemeal bread and i love it so so much. Also, they serves a good coffee and tea! Definitely feel like you can try breakfast here instead of keep linger around the already famous railway station. Local really introduce a good place. Thumbs up.

3. Yuen Fatt Kluang

Finally, i am here for this "Golden Pillow". It's actually just mooncake but the taste is different. It tastes more like a kuih mumur that we have during CNY. I like it.

5. Botak Curry Mee

Botak curry mee, I would say that I am grateful that i come here for this. It tastes really good and I am definitely craving for this right now. The curry broth is not spicy but so rich in flavor. You can just sip the broth down your throat and you will beg for more. It comes in a small portion than any other curry mee i had before and this cost RM5. It might seems a little bit overprice for the portion but it is really good. Please.. go and try.

6. Shangri La Ice Kacang

This shop is just a few steps away from botak curry mee so if you want to cold down yourself from the heat, you can try this. It's quite special cause it have raisin in it. It's average in my opinion and to those who do not loves too sweet, this is a thing.

7. Ikan Asam Pedas Restaurant

Everybody shared about this place and i was thinking why not give it a go. I personally think it's average. It was quite a disappointment as when im doing my homework, most of the blog recommended this place. Anyway, i would say it's optional. You can have it or not to have it. (Hoping to make journey to Muar to get a delicious asam pedas)

That is all for the food...our stomach is overloaded already.

Next, the tourist spot in Kluang!

They have mural too. If your thought you need to go all the way to Penang from South, no you are wrong. I loves how their mural is placed. It's all at one place along the back alley of the shop lot. We went there in the morning and it was shades as the sun is not yet fully on top of our head. Also, it's good to go early cause you can take pictures freely as you like without any disturbance or paisehness. haha.

There are a lot more of it! So, do come over and have a look when you have a chance.

Basically, that is a wrap for Kluang day trip.

However, I still have a complimentary recommended place for you readers. It was a truly unexpected trip and i am happy that bf parents come along and they suddenly recalled that this place where they mentioned it's special because of the ceramic toilet. It caught my attention and after google, we got the location and simply drove our way there since we had already full and nowhere to head to anymore in Kluang.

Aw Pottery, Simpang Renggam

It's a places where you can learn how to do pottery, there is one Japanese guy having his course there in at this place. If you happened to go for road trip from South, do stop by here and search for their toilets and do donate generously to help them with the toilet paper since they offer free and clean toilet with decorations that put you in awe.

Batu Pahat Day Trip

Good morning world.

Last Thursday was a public holiday and in order to not waste that one day holiday in between of weekday, I proposed to the BF to do a short trip to Batu Pahat (it was suppose to be Kluang but the famous railway coffee shop having off day every Thursday so no luck, plan changed.). It was a beautiful morning and granpa sun shine brightly. The day was perfect for the trip. We started our journey at around 8-9am in the morning. The journey took us around 130-2 hours to reach Batu Pahat from Johor. As our time is really short and tummy space is limited, the places we went to are really few but there is no harm to share. Upon arrival to the small city, our first stop was the Han Kee Cake and Cafe. The famous Otak bun is definitely a special breakfast ever. The taste is okay but im just so fancy about how intelligent is the people to put bun, egg and otak in a combination. Tada, your business, boom. So we can see that sometime we just have to be creative and moves the first step.

This one here is big. Slight bigger and is cut into 4 sections while small you would have smaller bun cut in 2 sections. (we order small but they just came in big one.)

After filling our only half empty stomach from the breakfast before leaving JB, I have always want to visit the landmark of Batu Pahat, the floating hand that im fascinated about. So, we make our move to Dataran Penggaram. As it's the public holiday(The sultan Johor birthday), they are preparing some sort of carnival with all the canopies and some poops smell all around. Therefore, we did not spend too much time there but few shots is definitely a must. Its somehow incredible on how they could make the hands floating tho. I bet its all made from cement, engineering huh.

Tell me how they do this?

Later on we have no clue where to head next, so we decided to go for kueh chap despite our almost full storage. This kueh chap is authentic as it is not the kueh tiaw like typically found in jb. The bf mentioned that is why people came here just for this, the main character kueh chap. Others are just a side dish. However, i think my hometown Miri still have this and im totally not a fans of kueh chap so i was not affected in any way. Dont mind me. We order small size for kueh chap but as i was eating, I felt like it took me forever to finish it. In the end when paying, we actually was given a big size *roll eyes*.

Hereby i attach the price for this meal because i personally think it's cheap and so filling.

Basically, after the kueh chap, i have no space anymore to tuck in food at that very moment so after squeeze some brain juice, we decided to go somewhere, the beach it says. The journey took less than half an hour. If i recall it correctly, it is as called Pantai Wawasan. It was a peaceful beach with swamps. The scenery was breathtaking cause i have been long for beach as it was so hard to even get to beach in jb.

We spent an ample time with the sea breeze there before we move to our next destination, the batu pahat mall. The only memory we had in the mall was im trying to find a decent white dress for my upcoming baptism but failed to do so, carried back home two packs of 2kg+200g milo (rm29.90)with 2 packs of soon hup crackers (rm3.29)and my first tealive. Thats how we fall for sale but seriously thats so cheap so theres no harm to save for later.

While waiting for time to pass in the mall, i was planning to leave batu pahat and to have a look at the foochow guang bing shop at Yong Peng before heading home. Luckily, bf suggested to go for Pak O' cendol before leaving because thats my first time having cendol pulut and it's so delicious! Im a fans of glutinous rice! Guys, you guys should go and try it. Apart from being yummy, the price got me jaw dropping too. Cendol pulut only cost us around rm2.

Thats a wrap for our batu pahat trip.

I was happy with this short trip. As im having RCIA class every Saturday for the 8 months now, it's likely imposibble for me to plan for a trip cause i gave my weekend to God. Therefore, it's so precious to have holiday off during weekdays, like this one.

P/s: As mentioned, i was disappointed with the famous foo chow guang bing shop cause their original/plain guang bing was sold out. So, guys if you guys want to go and try, go early as possible. Even though the shop open till night but the bing selling fast.

Lent - Fast, Give, Pray

We have now coming to the 2nd week of Lent.

In today Gospel(Mt 20:17-28), what i read is about the temptation. How we human was tempting on something handy. Jesus tells us that to be great is good but are you willing to be servant of all? Because to be great, you have to serve. I ask you Lord, in this lent season, to grant me your grace so that I learn how to serve, to not easily tempted in any way. May I will be well prepared to accept and share your cup. Also, give me strength for your missionary journey and challenges that i may encountered along my way to your cross. I ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Sometimes, when you only show your one side to people, they would thought how beautiful is your world and how lucky are you. However, no matter how, the dark side is there. I have mine too. I am blessed, with my life right now. But, I have come to realisation that my work performance does not really giving an improvement recently. Or maybe in others eyes, it was far weak than others. I always have this problem, I have problem loaded things in my head. I tends to get overthink and stressed until i am unable to handle it sometime. Therefore, at this moment, i would choose to move it out from my head or in from left ear and out from the right in instance. This is bad, so bad when I was having brain malfunction. Things get even worst when you have this during a discussion, nah, best of luck. I feel so bad. I am not sure whether it was me trying to find some excuses or anything, but i really cant have a well function-ing brain at that very moment. I would always choose to think when im back, which mean in tha discussion is just input from the other person while me trying to digest as many i could. I totally have no idea what would they think as i have not giving any constructive ideas or suggestion for my own problem. Sigh. The funny thing is the brain will retrieve its function after a long time and i would start to regret why i have not thought of it just now, this and that. Plainly, sucks.

It's mentally breakdown but physically displays the opposite. I am so unsure of myself again and again.....

Android Studio: How to create a .jar file

As per mentioned by the title for today, I would do some sharing on how to create jar file for android studio. This method might not be the only solution but it definitely is working one. I came across this how to because i have a task back with my work at office. I have to compile a my program to jar library. After few research on google, I found one way that have a more neat step and decide to give it a go.

(there are so many method posted but I have no confident to try it and some are very confusing)

Okay, let's get started.

First, of course you need to have your program ready in a normal project folder. Then you shall proceed with the steps below:

Create a new module for the jar library.

Choose android library

Name your library

After you have successfully create the module, open the build.gradle of the module

You shall add on the two task as below and createJar. Follow exactly as follow except for the library name

Then at the gradle tab, go to "other" of the library folder...

click on the create jar to create the jar file

Upon build success, you can find the jar file created. Voila, your library is now ready to be used!

I have just tested it this today and so happy that it works. Happy sharing.

I am a pessimistic person.

I could go negative for any possible thing.
Until people around me could gone mad for my thinking.
But, I am blessed.
I have God for He is always there for me.
I have my family, I have friends, I have my bf.
Slowly I build myself up, as i realised, this is an option.
You can choose.
So, I choose to be blessed.
(Of course i still go pessimistic)
However, I think I can go towards better,
towards happiness.
Because by counting your blessing, you found your life more meaningful.
You found you could do the same thing with different way.
A much better way.
I felt even more blessed with my best friends.
My secondary school friend.
I am truly happy for their funny consecutive 'prank' & lame call yesterday.
They are part of my life.
I will hold this friendship, the one we built, and be old together but still able to laugh at our own old jokes.

Five Finger Prayer

If you have difficulties in making a good prayer, here are the most useful tips for prayer. It is call the five finger prayer. Say your prayer accordingly with what each fingers represent from 1-5. Lets get started:

1. Thumbs

The nearest finger towards yourself. Pray for your family, relatives friends. Pray for those who are close to you.

2. Index fingers

Mostly you use this to point on things, therefore, you shall pray for the educators. Pray for teacher who teaches you, lecturers, supervisor, colleagues and so on.

3. Middle Finger

Its the longest fingers among the five. Let it represents the highest authority. Pray for the leaders, politicians and government.

4. Ring Finger

The weakest. Pray for those who is suffering from illness, mentally and physically.

5. Little finger/pinky

Lastly, the furthest finger from ourselves, this is the time you pray for yourself. Pray for holy spirit to shower on us and ask God to increase our faith.

Intercedes for others through praying

It's the second week of 2017. It has been a wonderful beginning for now. As you can see from the picture above, I bought myself the daily gospel (2017). I got this from the RCIA facilitator who happened to be in St Anne's church in Bukit Mertajam and he grab it for us because in Johor, you will never able to get the stock in, not even the Majodi in Plentong. Thank God for this. I kept my pace on spending my early morning before started work on this, from dioceseofmiri blog to this.

It was a very handy book with a complete set of important prayer and gospel with explanation plus quote. The size is just slightly bigger than my hand and light weight. Therefore, i really love it.

Before off too far away from the topic, I found the explanation or interpretation for each daily gospel helps me to have better sight on what it conveys and how much difference it is from my understanding.

Every morning, i would pray first before i read, to allow God helps me when i read the gospel of the day. Reading gospel is like God talking to us directly. After the gospel i would reflect on it and try to understand basically what is He trying to tell us. Then, i would proceed with the explanation below.

I was fascinated with gospel on the 13th January 2017. (Mk 2:1-12) It was about Jesus at Capernaum and due to the crowd, 4 guys who wanted to brought a paralysed man for healing is unable to make it through the crowd. But without giving up, the lay the man in front of Jesus from the rooftop instead. Jesus said, you sins are forgiven and man was healed.

What we can get from the gospel is the importance of intercession and how it works. As a catholics, we have only one God. However, we also pray for Mother Mary to help us to intercede with God. From the act of the 4 man who brought the paralysed man in front of Jesus, it is precisely what intercession does. When we pray for the person, it was like we place him in front of Jesus. Also, how do we experiencing graces in our lives? It is because others pray for us.

Jesus intercedes for us in heaven, while we intercede for others on earth. That is how much you can do for each others on earth. Humbly pray for peoples who needs love, who is in trouble, who is ill and who is happy to not forget about those who is mourning.

Don't you want to see them healed like the paralysed man who are able to get up and walk?

To pray, it might seems easier saying than act, anyhow, it's bette late than never, take it slowly and try your best to find time to pray just like the time you take out phone and scroll over facebook. I am still a beginner too, let's make ourself a better person. Dont forget to pray for me.

Hello Year 2017

Today is the first day of 2017.

I started off my day by attending Sunday mass which is at 7am. Although still felt sleepy, truly happy that i made it. Keep it up to infinity, this energy. By the way, not forget to thank God for made this happen, for giving me breath to able to do so. Also, I was able to catch up for breakfast with bf family. Tasted some home food, a very decent kolo mee right here in JB. Count down to days to be back home. After that, finally got some bucks to go for car wash. Now, my car can have its breath back haha.

Then, have some macaroni for lunch and it tasted so good with some cheese topping over it. While do some reading(YOUCAT), go out with the bf to hospital to take medicine for his mom and then we went to have food again. HAHA. We went to have some oyster noodles and fried chicken chop at 士林 in sutera mall where we took so long just to find its location. If you happen to want to be there, its located outside, just behind vivo. End our food with a bubble milk tea from each a cup. Life is perfect.

And now, i feel like wanna go for a little jog. Pray for more perfect day like this in 2017. Gotta go.

Recap 2016

Hye my beloved blog,

Here comes the time every each of us would do at the end of December, summarizing what happened for the past 364 days. Reflect on ourselves what we has successfully achieved as set for the year before and probably keeping/bringing over the same resolution for the coming year 2017.

I would do mine too here because i found that this existence of this blog makes me feels funny and found how age has changed myself. Although i did not update much here, i would come back for this blog. There are certainly times where i felt this blog is too childish and wanted to vanish it, I am thankful I did not. I will keep it to many years to come.

2016

It was a roller coaster ride for myself and family.
This year started with a sudden death of my aunty. I never thought she being committed to ICU, is a very serious thing. The last time i met her in person, I could not even recall when was it. I was left regretted. Family is very important. Meet them whenever you could.

Then, come back to me, till now, i felt everything was magical. I started my RCIA journey. It took me almost 5 years to be able to begin what i have long for. Thank God, for i was given this opportunity. (The challenge comes cause my class is every Saturday, deal with it.)

After that, I was broke to lowest point, with the death of my beloved grandfather. Truly unexpected. This would be another regret for me. This time i went back for the last respect. He is such a lovely grandpa. I could only pray for him so he have a place in heaven.

Lastly, i finally feel the most pressure in my work. I have to do overtime every single day for about 2 weeks. I thought i was able to meet the deadline but i took another 4- 5 days. I was disappointed with myself. However, I am so thankful that i was able to finish it up and deploy for the 2nd pilot run.

2017

Therefore, before 2016 officially ends, thank you for this roller coaster year. In 2017, i am expecting to be a catholics by receiving my baptism, holy communion and confirmation. Besides, i hope i could practice to live my life in catholics way. In addition, i would want spend more time with the family whenever i could. Lastly, the most important thing is DO SAVINGS.

In less than 24 hours, say goodbye to 2016 and welcome 2017.

Journey for the body, mind, soul

Just a quick one here.

I am here to mark the journey to body, mind and soul.

I started to do some jogging back at the end of August. I did not bound/restrict myself to jog every evening after work but i just did it promptly.

I knew that i would not able to commit myself if i was to force myself to keep on track every single day.

I learnt that to do exercise or more focus in keep fit, I have to start to love/enjoy what i am doing. Like what i did back two months ago.

However, to be more precise i barely jog but do some walk instead. It feels so good to be able to step out after one whole day of work. I escaped a lot but i pick myself up even on weekend morning.

And just 3 days back, i wanted to try something different. I have did jogging and skipping.

So, might as well i jump back to my workout!

However, the day i put this decision, i got caught in severe headache that i could not do anything but slept/rest earlier that day. The plan still on going the next day(thank God). As usual, i did the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred: Level 1. An intense 20 minutes workout. I pull through it (i almost gave up in the middle). It has been the most sweat i ever have after so long.

Then, just about yesterday i was introduced to this Nesh V5 健身操.

I asked my bf to join me for this. You guys should go and try this because it was actually funny but the muscle sore even badly this morning. A chinese version of workout. Simple movement took around 5 minutes and you can do more round of it(i did thrice).

I did not thought i would sweat a lot tho. Anyway, gonna try out again for today to see how painful i would be on Saturday.

Start you move now by choose something you can enjoy yourself first. First is hard but never is even harsh.

Half day journal

It's 8.28am, im munching on my breakfast w a cup of kopi o kosong (basically americano/long black). It was so hard to pull myself up from the bed this morning. Blaming yesterday for off to bed quite late. So, im not sure how am i going to survive for today.

Therefore, i decided to jot down my one day journal for today(only today). Well, this would be a funny reminder for me later when i get old and look back all the lame writing i have been doing all this while. And pretty much on thoughts. *act deep but have a lot of just, thought. HA.*

8.37am.

I start work at 9am. I just finished my breakfast. Coffee is still there. How i wish i could stay awake/energetic with caffeine. No, it does not turn out like that tho. It was my first time to get myself a coffee w my own cup from the cafe at LG. My workplace is at L2. The aunty quite surprise when i wanted something tasteless. I need to cut some sugar intake. Also, i could not any latte/coffee w milk because my stomach would feel uncomfortable. I come to realise this quite late. Better late than never, I found my true love, americano/long black w/o sugar. Life is perfect now. HA.

I will stop for now and prepare for work (actually is off for morning poo, *poop*)

Im having my lunch while watching runningman and typing this right now. Multitasking they said. Did not do much for work instead of housekeeping my code and do some more testing. Need to work hard. By the way, whatsapp now have new function, whereby you can tag someone in a group chat. However, it would not notify you. It only ease you to go into the person profile. That pretty much sum up for the function. Meh. Gotta stop here, im out of word. bye.

Happy Independence Day, Malaysia.

It's 10.18pm. Something just pop out my mind.

How much i miss to be in flirting state?

Once, i had some heart to heart (we always do) conversation with my best friend. We talked about our relationship. It's truly amazing that we both always come to hit the same end. We both agree and miss those days where you have a feeling with some guy and both are in flirting stage. She had a longer relationship than mine but i already shared the same feeling as hers.

Is it a bad sign? Does it mean the relationship right now is not in a good state anymore? But everything went well at this moment. Therefore, I always feel bad when i want to have those adrenaline rush seeing the person i like. I do have a little bit feeling towards my bf right now but it was slightly different right now. I gets to calm so fast. Previously, the flirt stage could keep the whole day sweet till get diabetes. I would not be able to even hide my happiness cause your body reaction and expression works as the inside. Those chemical reaction.

I certainly no idea why i have this kind of thought sometime.

RCIA class | Psalm 139

It's time to move on.

Today marked the 3rd session of my RCIA class. It was a wonderful sharing session. I learnt a lot. This is what i have been waiting for. Cecilia lead us today and she focus on FAITH.

FAITH.

She asked:"What is God to you?"

Ha, tough one, I shared mine. God is everything. In my life, He never failed to put me into roller coaster ride. Like others mentioned in the class, God can give you, He can took it away too in split second. That is so true. But one thing i can be sure with now is my life change from never went to church to attend church during Sunday and now i am attending to RCIA class.

Faith.

As we know God creates the Universe. He first made the Sun, sky, day and night, plants, animals and the last one human being before wrap up on the seven day aka Sabbath Day. What we can relate here is God creates all through Word except for human being. What is the difference? We were made from the clay shaped like a human and with the breath from the Him. Therefore, humans are special. Man was made with body and soul.

Faith.

Adam and eve is the first human. God tells them to not eat the fruits from the Tree of Knowledge else they will die. However, they could not obey to His words. They are tricked by the words of serpent. God called them and both Adam and Eve is too ashamed to meet God (acknowledge that they are naked all this time). God punished them. From that moment, woman will bear the pain during childbirth. Serpent will crawl.

In order to restore human, Jesus and Mary is the new Adam and Eve. They are the role model.

If i have not attend this class, i would not even correlate so much towards all this. This is how powerful the bible. Full of the Word of God but through sharing it was beautifully conveyed.

Lastly, before ending the class, Cecilia recommend us to read this psalm. Sometimes, we do not know what is inside ourself. Not even us or any other people but only God. Read through this psalm to seek for His guidance.

LORD, you have examined me and you know me.

You know everything I do;

from far away you understand all my thoughts.

You see me, whether I am working or resting;

you know all my actions.

Grandfather - Taja Kuleh 1930-2016

A date i could never forget my whole life. That day at 6.30 pm he left us. Recall back week before that monday, I knew my grandfather was in my hometown. I get to know it because my sister posted their picture in instagram going for road trip to Bintulu & Bakun.

One thing i do not know is he flew to my hometown because he got his asthma attack. Right after he touchdown my sister brought her to the hospital and he feel much better. However, he did not went back. My mother seems like not wanted he go back so fast. So, he was delayed to stay my home. They brought him for the road trip and also went to places around my hometown.

Then, one day he felt so bad that he shout for my brother. My sister feel so weird cause he never did that before. There he goes feeling suffocating. His asthma attack invaded him badly that when they rushed him to the hospital, he needed to grab on the car handle to hold it.

General hospital is not taking things serious. Patient seems to be overloaded and there is no space for him to be admitted to the hospital. It took around 2-3 hours just to get him a bed space in a ward with mixed patient (with one skin allergy patient).

Upon the 3rd days in the hospital, he doesn't seems to show a better sign. His lung was infected. His breathing is heavier than before. He is tired. His muscle is sore. He told my sister about it. Until that night the doctor suggest to do tubing. Put him to sleep and let his lung recover. Also, he would not be too tired to breathe.

The moment i heard they want to do this, I have a super bad feeling. It was so painful to have all the tube down the throat. In addition, I see no hope in that. I even told my sister whether they could just take it out and make him wake up. My uncle and aunty consecutively reach to pay him a visit. Well, at least i thought, let him know that his sons and daughters is right here. (they came cause doctor shows no positive comment towards his illness)

Then funny thing happened on 11-7-2016 morning. I saw my wechat, dad messaged me and at family group! One second i thought is this for real, then I wait no time but message my sister and tell them! I could never imagine we actually could tell dad that grandpa is very much ailing and is now in the hospital. He contacted us at a right time. He called back and have conversation with mum. Mum must be so overwhelmed. Dad decided to come back to see grandpa. In the afternoon, last sibling in the family, my aunt from labuan also reached hospital. My mum also mentioned to grandpa at his ears that daddy is coming back to see him.

As my dad decided to come back, i also choose to go back to see him. I booked the next day flight which cost super expensive because it was still in the peak raya season. But, I just want to see him. On that day, I was busy updating with my family and could not concentrate much on work. That night i had already date with my bf and his family to go for dinner so i have to leave on time. I did not check my phone. 6.30pm i went to apply leave with my supervisor and get him sign for the leave form. I said i want to go back hometown to visit my grandpa. He approved. I pack up my stuff and call my bf saying im coming to him. I also wonder why my voice so shattered when i called him. He thought i cried. Along the way to dinner place i have conversation with him, even speculate what will happen if my grandpa pass away.

1 hours passed.

I just finished my dinner when i realise my phone is blinking(silent mode with no vibration). I received a call from my sister. Crying. Call out my name and said where am i. I stunted. I apologised. Then, my sister voice shaking, telling me, grandpa already leave us. I could not cried cause im with my bf parents. I hung up. Calmly tell them my grandpa has passed away. I burst into tears when im in the car heading home. I just feel bad for not knowing how much missed call i received and i just got the news after hours.

The moment is the most heart breaking moment in my life.

My uko laki who is such a cool person. Stubborn but cute. Very supporting person. Doesn't create drama. Loves coffee with lots of condensed milk.

Now, he is gone.

Next time when i wanted to get married, he would not be able to see it. Thats my regret. For not able to let him see any of his grandchild get married. Also, I have no more grandpa in this world.

I wasn't the best person in dealing relationship but way sucks at it. However, this is what i can conclude after gone through a long relationship (4 years is long for me). For ladies, after you done listing all packages of your dream guy should have, let me tell you the truth, the one i mentioned above is the most important after all. You might judge book by its cover, there is no wrong because i do so too! But relationship is a funny thing. It comes in a blink of eyes. Rushing to involve into it might be a good and the baddest decision you ever made. If you are lucky, you get good guy straight. Else, you got the most sucks boyfriend ever. For my case, i got a quite terrible and bad tempered boyfriend. HAHA. FUNNY. BUT! He changed for me. There is too much to mention but in a nutshell, his attitude gives me a jaw drop most of the time. Imagines a guy who has so much ego (according to his friends, basically all mention the same thing), learn how to put down ego and just cuddle you. Well, hard to happen nowadays (4 years is long!) #_# Also, he learnt how to say sorry is the happiest thing ever. He is not perfect and i do not know how long we could go but right now i just want to praise him and thanks him for all he did all this while. I still love his super funny lame jokes. I still loves punching him. Tease him. I still enjoy being fat together. I could be poor in anything, could not go travel as others did but one thing that he will make sure i would not poor or less with is FOOD. This is one thing i can 100% confirm his reliability. End. Too much of praising.

This week is a special week in my entire 24 years of living. I am here to jot down about my beginning of RCIA journey. What is RCIA? It's my journey towards a practice catholics. I am opening my path heading to the Kingdom of God. 2/7/2016 is the day, which initially almost forgotten by myself. I hope my journey would be a fruitful one and it means my saturday afternoon in coming one year is attending class. I am pretty excited and overjoyed. Hope i would manage to go through this stage! Yesterday, something caught my attention while i am listening to this chinese radio. It's about our brain. She threw a question:

I did some guessing by my own (i guessed apple). Most of the listener guesses grape. Her answer was Cherry. Of course this is not the only one exact answer. She did mentioned also berries are all good for brain. So, i asked Mr Google.

How to automatically generate getter and setter for android studio

Hi y'all. I just wanted to share something that is truly a life saver for programmer like, me. As mentioned in my previous post, I currently stuck around with coding everyday. Today, during a short discussion with my supervisor and another colleague, supervisor mentioned that:

"Do you guys know that in eclipse and android there is a shortcut to generate the getter and setter? You guys do not have to type by yourself. But i couldn't remember it now. Later i will share to you guys okay."

Then I was like so curious about what is it about because I had never do research on that ever since i started doing android java coding. So, not so long after the discussion ended, I decided to clear my doubt. I googled and I got my answer!

HERE IS THE LIFE SAVIOUR TIPS:

Windows: Alt+Insert

Mac OSX: Cmd+N

After the shortcut, a dialog Generate will drop down and this is what you will see, choose what you need. To my surprise, there are quite some useful one!

Then you will link to this one and you can choose one or use shift or ctrl to select more than one then click ok.

Tadah, here is the result! So amazing and eyes opening.

I had tested both and it's working. 100%. I am definitely not a shortcut freak but this one really save my time unless you are stress over stuff and decides to spend some spare time to type it yourself. Happy shortcut.

**add on: One more useful tip for me about shortcut for android studio is, move the cursor to last edit location. (shift+ctrl+backspace for windows) Beware that it only will move back to last EDITED location only. If you only move the cursor around without edit, it will not work. Happy trying.

Life as an engineer

Hello all beautiful soul, I am here sharing tits and bits of my life as an Engineer, basically R&D. I'm almost in my eighth month entitled with this engineer, like real engineer. I would say it was not easy for me. I would never tell my kids what to do (~~teacher, lawyer, doctor, engineer~~) when i have one in future. I would want them to try anything that is their interest more than for the sake of getting a scroll or "recognised profession". I came to realise this quite late, too late that i could not turn back but to make through all the hardship. I am not quite sure whether it was just pure luck or I still have that ability to stay safe over my roller coaster university life. I fell to the lowest during my degree life and I never thought my determination to make a turning point changed my life. Back to now, I am an engineer. I have flaws, I have low self esteem. But, I choose to learn, as much as i could. Honest saying, what i did now is more to software, I live with coding. Dang. I rejected this guy from intel who are looking for vacant in programming before i started to work at current company, doing programming. Karma huh! haha. The reason i work at current company is due to i am out of time. I started to panic when i have yet to secure a job even when im attending my convocation. So, apart from giving a good pay, pretty convincing job scope and the only job application accepted, I am rushing to say goodbye to honeymoon and welcome my working life with two hands widely open, praise to God. At some point, i do ~~regretted~~. Regret for being too rushed. All of this because money earns not equal to money spent. Haha. Okay, it's because i have a bad control in financial. Besides, working away from home make me spend more on utilities. But looking at the bright side, i had a wonderful trip and event happened for the past eight month. Thank God for funny and cutest colleagues. Life in company can be super dull and black but listen to their old lame jokes makes the day brighter. To extend about my job scope which is literally everyday coding or program flow, frankly speaking this is the most credit hour i spent on just codes. I only took programming subject during the 1st semester of university life and do some super easy one during final year. Now, i need to encounter with android java and google most of time finding answers to my doubt. Sometime, i would thought, why is it seems difficult for me to understand when im taking this course years back. It's actually just nuts (some parts i mean). However, this is by giving a huge thank to google. It does save me most of the time. Now, i can have an idea on how coding works (even though i am still weak at most of it). Anyway, the hardest part right now is to meet the requirement. I have a seriously not bad supervisor but sometimes when it comes to requirement for the development we are acquire to complete is still lack in information and no certain direction is set. I had a super black Friday last week due to this problem, more sudden requirement are to be added and i got everything mixed up. I was stressed. My weekend is used to cure my headache. Luckily, I calmed myself and now i am doing okay. Complicated thing is solved and something bigger is coming. So, isnt it seems pretty funny? Apart from being unsure how i managed to do so, I have to say i am blessed. It's God blessing. Shower me with so much love and accompany me with awesome people i meet in work life. There are laughter and emotional throughout the process, so i would say i have to balance it out. Maybe more laughter instead. This job, i am quite satisfy right now, at this moment. Hoping to do more in near future.
