Hello Lovelies! After much thought, we decided to discontinue our blog posts here from now onward. We will be continuing our blog posts in our new website. We hope that this will help us serve you much better.

However, if you wish to come back here and browse back at our old posts, you are always welcomed. We have also put a link to it in our Home Page Header in our new website. Feel free to come back here. We do that too. It's sad to leave something so precious because all of our creations here were inspired by you, our customers and supporters.

Travelers Notebook Inserts

I celebrated my 12th Years Wedding Anniversary last weekend, and I thought I would document it in a TN instead of an album, just for a change.

Coincidentally enough, I was watching one of Dearly Dee's YouTube videos a few days back about making TN Inserts out of scraps, and I wanted to give it a try. My TN cover wasn't really from scraps but more of a few leftovers patterned papers that I hoarded from their original pads. And a TN Insert (the one on the left) was created.

I was so happy I got carried away and created another one (the one on the right). Haha! I'm not sure what I'll use it for yet.....maybe for another album...I don't know. Or should I list it up in our online shop? Hehe. Let me know 😉

PLANNER ADDICT: WEEK 3

Hello Lovelies! Happy Monday! Here's my Weekly Spread for this week using our Weekly Inserts in my Lovedoki. Do you feel a bit tropical when you see this layout? Haha. Used a couple of washi tapes, some stickers and embellishments from CT Kits and stamps from Kaisercraft.

The rainy season is coming back again so we're probably going to have a wet week ahead (so much for the tropical layout eh...). I love it when it rains but when it starts to flood, it's no fun at all.

Travelers Notebook: Weekend Documented

A layout made in my TN with a couple of Xavier's & Daddy's old instax photos playing sandcastles taken a few months back. Took the photos out of the album just to make this layout.

I used the Citrus Twist October Kits for the embellishments. Those strips of papers are from the top of patterned papers from the kits as well. I don't know about you but I sometimes end up throwing them away after I've used the papers itself. So this time, I'm glad I made us of them. They're too adorable to be thrown away.

It's almost Friday, so hang in there for a little wee bit Lovelies :)

Getting Back Into The Groove

I made this layout somewhere in May this year and I made it very simple. When my October Citrus Twist Kit came couple days ago, I took out my Travelers Notebook and thought of making a new layout. Instead (as most times), I browsed through my previous layouts and read them all again, remembering the moments of every stories in the layouts. It was pretty nice actually :).

This layout was the last one. See how long I've not been creating in my TN? *facepalm...sigh* Anyway, the layout was very simple and kinda plain. So I took out some of the Stickers from the kit and embellished the layout. Took the photo frame stickers and put it on top right of the photo, some flower stickers and added them to the bottom of the journal column, and added some word stickers on to the left top side of the photo. Now the layout looks much better and more complete :).

I'm going to try to keep up creating in my TN now, among other things. Gotta keep crafting.

Handmade Rustic + Nature Themed Wedding Invitation Cards

Hello friends!

For today's post, we just want to share a project that we did recently. We received an order to make rustic + nature themed wedding invitation cards for a couple who will be getting married in Bario Highlands! How awesome is that! We came out with several samples and the couple decided on this design, which we think is very suitable for the wedding theme. :)

Here they are!

We used craft paper as the backing paper, printed out the wordings on a thick cardstock with a mountainous scenery at the bottom. For the top part, we made a bow out of jute twine, topped it with a silver bling and tied the bow onto a tikar-like paper. And...we repeated the process 100 times, haha!

We're really happy & proud with the outcome of the wedding cards as it is also our first wedding invitation card order. We too hope the couple is satisfied with our handiwork! :)

Planner Addict: Week 3 - July

Hello crafty friends! And..hello the month of August!

Well, I'm bringing you back in time...about two Saturdays ago, we celebrated Sarawak Day! It’s a day to commemorate our beloved State’s Independence Day!

In honour of this special day, I used the theme colour of our Sarawak flag…black, red & yellow for my weekly spread. I still love doing those calligraphic writings for my quotes, bible verses & sentiments. :)

One of the bible verses that struck out to me that week was from Proverbs 23:18. There was such a great sense of conviction & comfort to me as I read this verse. And I took time to write down this verse on my planner in the Sunday slot as a great reminder for me. :)

What’s a birthday cake without its candles and... nowadays, toppers!

Recently, I’ve received orders to make cake toppers for birthday & celebratory cakes. It’s a new venture for me & I’m beginning to get the hang of it! It’s a great feeling to learn a new thing & add that in your craft skills list..haha!

It’s Wednesday & hello to a new day! Are you ready to slay the day?! Let’s do it!

Just to start things off, I’m sharing with you a handmade card that I made for my brother for his birthday (it was in April, LOL!). Ya, it's a late post hehe..

Well, my brother's been wanting a PS4 for the longest time and has been tormenting me to buy him one. I couldn’t afford one so I made one for him instead…from paper, that is. LOL! He should be so thankful to have such a creative sisterrr like me! 😜

My attempt to make a masculine card but I can't help but to have some cute element to it..haha!

The card comes with a pew-pew cat game! Lol!

Planner Addict: Week 2 - July

Hello planner friends!

We just hit mid-week & it’s a rather tough climb this week. 😌 The brain says there’s much to do but the body isn’t following suit! 😣 Eeek! The struggle is soo overwhelming! There's a constant struggle within..like a storm on an endless rage.. 🌊🌊 Putting that aside, let’s focus on something more calming for the soul..like my blue themed planner layout! Lol.

Yes, my planner layout for last week was in shades of blue. I kept it pretty clean & simple. Played around with the circle stickers that I bought from Kaison (my go-to place to find stickers, craft stuffs & home deco!), stick-on notes from Daiso & washi tapes (of course)!

May your day be as calm as the deep blue sea & may the 'storms' be bearable!

Panda-stic Card!

Happy Friday, everyone!

How has your week been? I hope you're surviving! 😆

So, a couple of days ago, I was going through some of my craft photos and I stumbled upon this handmade card & altered notebook that I made for an order by a friend. I realised that I haven't shared this cute card & notebook in the blog!

I was asked to make a Panda theme tall shaker card & altered notebook with royal blue as the theme colour.

For the Panda card, I wanted it to be like a party & a fun card. So I got this print outs of cute pandas, put them together like they're having a blast & filled up the shaker with lots and lots of sequins, mini ornaments & acrylic die-cuts! And it's a panda-stic party!

As for the altered notebook, I wanted it to be cute yet inspirational too.
So I added a quote to go with the nerdy-cute panda hehe!

Hello! ☕

It’s the Hari Raya holidays! No Monday blues here…haha! I hope you’re enjoying yourselves as well, wherever you are. 😄

I’m sharing with you today, my planner layout for Week 3 – June. I’m back to juggling all sorts of balls after a long Gawai holiday, haha…so my planner comes in real handy during these busy times! Phewh!

I decided to deck my layout with a theme colour of black + white + pink!

I love using my washi tapes (lace & chevron designs) & my mini polka-dot bubble speech post-it notes that I bought from Mr DIY & Daiso! Aren't they simply adorable! I can't get enough of them. 😊

How to : Make your own Washi Tape Holder

Hello!

Today I'll be sharing with you, a DIY project that I did recently. It's a DIY washi tape holder!

I have realised that my washi collection have been growing & I have used up all my small transparent containers to store my stickers. Where, then do I store these washi tapes? So, this has prompted me to come up with a DIY project to store my washi tapes. I don't want a usual storage box but rather something that is different and at the same time making sure my washi tapes are visible (for easy access) yet presentable hehe.

So, here are the 'ingredients' that you will need to make this washi tape holder.

1. An old & unused chopstick or you can use the disposable ones that you get for free each time you tapau (takeaway) noodles from the Chinese hawker stall.

2. Used jar lid

3. Washi tapes

4. Ribbon (small size)

5. Hot glue gun / strong glue

6. Embellishments such as buttons, sequins etc

The main ingredients are simply just an old/disposable chopstick & a used jar lid.

Firstly, take your favourite washi tape and "washi" the jar lid and take your ribbon of choice and wrap it around the chopstick & use the hot glue gun to bind it.

Once you have got that done, get that hot glue gun and adhere the chopstick to the middle of the 'washi-ed' jar lid. Let it dry completely and then you're ready to embellish it. I used some rickracks, buttons & sequins as my embellishments.

Lastly, gather all your washi tapes & arrange them into the holder.

Viola! It's done!

And there you have it, a DIY washi tape holder! You can make more of these holders and arrange your washi tapes according to colours or prints for each holder and let them sit pretty on your craft table! How cute is thaaat!

Good Monday morning! 💕

Hope you had a great weekend! And let's start the week with positive vibes! 😄

I am sharing with you my planner layout for the 1st week of June. We in Sarawak, Borneo celebrate the harvest festival on 1st June, each year. So I was back home for the Harvest Festival holidays, which we call Hari Gawai. It was really great being home and on holiday! Yiippee! There were lots of preparations being made for Hari Gawai..the shopping, baking, cooking, cleaning etc etc..whooh! But as tiring as it may sound, it was lots of fun because you get to spend time with family.😍 Well, enough of my Gawai story..Lol! Here's my planner layout for the Gawai week.

I mainly used my floral & leaf pattern washi tapes & I still haven't gotten over the calligraphic writing craze, hehe! It's a very simple & clean layout.

My hands were itching to add more stuff but I held myself back and told myself to be OK with the blank spaces..Lol!

Wedding bells are ringing! 💝🔔

I've received an order from a friend to make a handmade wedding card and I made one to give to my dear friend, Diana who got married recently. Both are tall sized cards but with different themes. 😄

For the handmade wedding card order, I was given a theme of gold & white. So, I went for a more regal look.

As for my friend's wedding card, I went for a more sweet & floral theme. She is a very sweet person and the month of May reminds me of flowers in bloom & all things pastel, hehe. And thus, this card reflects all those elements 😊

Hello!

Happy Tuesday, everyone!

I know this post is a lil' behind..LOL! But I would want to share it, anyway. 😄

This was my planner layout for Week 1 of May. It was quite a pretty busy week. Heck, the past weeks prior to this were pretty hectic as well. 😅

I had two friends getting married on the same day, which was on 6th May and the weddings were at two places..one in Miri & the other in Kuching! Had preparations to do, coupled with my office work & family matters in the span of that week..whooh! It was quite a ride, hahaha!

I kept my layout pretty simple, using stamps, stickers & washi tape. I still enjoy writing the calligraphic handwriting style for my quotes & sentiments. Still improving myself on that, hehe.

I hope you find this post inspiring & gives you ideas on how you can embellish your own layout for your weekly planner!

I've got the blues..

On some days when you feel a little blue, you just need a lil “pick-me-up” to help brighten your day..and sometimes, that very colour helps you lift your mood. That’s what happened when I did this card. The moment I finished making the card & looked at that blue glitter paper, a sense of calm & bliss came over me. Sighh.. And it reminded me of that Korean drama, I’ve watched recently…The Legend of the Blue Sea. Yes, I’m sooo into k-drama these days! They have been my instant “pick-me-ups”. I just can’t get enough! I can truly understand how people can get addicted to it! Hahaha! Aigooo!

Well, enough of me & my k-drama confession (LOL!), here’s my creation…a gatefold, half A4-sized, engagement card...

It’s time for me to get back to my instant pick-me-up! 👀 💻 Hahaha!

Hello there! How have your week gone?

I am sharing with you a graduation card I made last month. It was a longg overdue blog post hahaha!

Anyway, this is a graduation card I made, that was ordered by a friend of mine. Her friend had her graduation ceremony and she wanted to give her a handmade card to mark the special occassion!

The alphabet cut-outs are from my die-cut alphabet set. The pink & white sentiment is from a craft pack that I bought from Mr DIY. It was a quick & easy one. I guess my creative juices were flowing pretty nicely that day haha! Well, on some days, when those juices doesn't seem to come out right, a simple card could take hours to make & you end up being so exhausted..LOL! Oh well, we have our good & bad days, don't we? ;)

Planner Addict : Week 2 (April)

Hello all!

Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a great & meaningful Easter weekend!

I'm sharing with you my Easter weekend planner layout. This time, I am working on my calligraphic handwriting style hehe. My past week has been very hectic juggling work, music lessons, craft orders & ministry work. I had no time for myself and my quiet time with my Creator has been close to none! Made me feel so guilty! I just rush through my days with a quick prayer & "thank you Jesus". Not good at all. So, on Maundy Thursday, I made time to have some quiet reflection and did this layout...

It was therapeutic, I must say...as I write each letter with care, mindful of the meaning it brings, contemplating which curve to be bolder than the others & trying to get them in a straight line (almost haha)..I felt a sense of peace. An interesting & fulfilling process 😊 😊 In the end, I was very happy with the result, though I do think I need more practices haha.
