1. For Mother's Day I***** Spent the day with my Hubby, my kids are both out of town but we had a great day he got me a beautiful Flower basket, Card, took me to dinner and we went and watched the Avenger's it was a great day!!! Even though I wasn't with my boys....

2. What is your favorite dish that your Mom makes?**** My mom makes the best Chicken and Noodles, Homemade noodles I just love them and her Fresh apple pie is really good too!!!!

3. Who are you a "Mom" too?**** I am mom to Kyle 28 and Kayle 29 the loves of my life and my baby Dozer!!!!

My son's at Kayle's wedding, I get to spend time with them next weekend....

My baby Dozer, he is spoiled rotten!!!

4. What did you have for Mother's Day dinner?**** We went to Cheddar's and I had baby back ribs salad, loaded baked potato, and broccoli.. there cresant rolls are to die for!!! it was a great meal....

5. What is your fondest memory of your Mom?*** Thats a tough one I have many Thankfully she is still here for hopefully many more years to come.. I went to her house the night before and brought her a lovely basket of flower's she loved them!!!

3. What are you currently excited about? These too my son and my soon to be Daughter-In-Law are going to Cancun in the middle of May and then we are having a big reception June 2nd to celebrate.. I hate that I don't get to see them say there vows but the reception will be fun!!! I am so excited for them!~!!!

4. Do you have any secrets?

Well if I told you they wouldn't be secrets anymore would they??? We all have them admit it????

5. What do you normally eat for lunch?
I am a sandwich girl I usually have some sort of sandwich like this with turkey and cheese and tomato..Yummm

QUARTER WARS!!!

Have you heard of paddle parties or Quarter Wars... it is so fun if it makes its way to your area you should really go they are so fun and you can win stuff!!! I went last nite to my second one and even took pictures!! To sum up the party you bring quarters buy some paddles and vendors from everything from Mary Kay to Tupperware are there to promote there buisnesses... each vendor puts up a few things to auction off (your bid only costs you a quarter per paddle and you can have up to 4 paddles they cost you $3.00 each) if they call your number you win... I know I was confused at first too.. but its really easy to catch onto once your there. These are fundraisers as well like this one all the proceeds went to Rely for life so even if you don't win anything you have given your money to a good cause, I spent 15.00 and got dinner as well. I went with a friend of mine and we had alot of fun and we both won something...YEAH!!!!

Here we are with our paddles and I have a cup full of quarters!!! I AM READY!!!

There where probably 50 women there (I took this picture before it all got started) everyone wanders around and checks out all the vendors and eats before it all gets underway!!! Then they go around the room tell about there buisness and then one by one they offer something up for auction if you want to bid on it you put your paddle or paddles up and they come around and you put a quarter in the bucket for each paddle, they draw a number and if its yours you win.. if you don't put your paddle up and buy in and they draw your number they keep drawing till they get a winner. There where 9 vendors there and they each donated 3 items each... they also have cash and carry or you can book a party if you want its a great way for each vendor to get there names out there and show off there wares.. I won something and so did my friend Mel... She won a batter bowl from pampered chef and I WON....

A cute coin purse and purse charm from Miche Bags a $25.00 value so I came out ahead and I also booked a Jamberry Nail party, I had never heard of them before but its so cool I will post about it later once I have my party... See its a great way for them to get there names out there and get new bookings. I know they made alot of money tonite for Relay for Life and fun was had by all...

Outside my window...

I see alot of traffic I live in a small town and right across from the Post office, its hard to believe how many people still use snail mail. Its a beautiful day too the sun is shining and the birds are singing and the flowers I planted are blooming and really pretty!!!

I am thinking...

About how much I am glad to live in a small town where you pretty much know everyone and glad to be close to all my family and friends and what was I thinking when I moved and stayed away for a year!!!

I am thankful...

For all the blessings in my life!!! God is good!!!

In the kitchen...

I have so many plans we bought a fixer upper and I am trying to decide on the paint color for my cabinets, I am thinking a dark burgandy to match the boarder I put up... I will be posting pictures of my progress soon the before and after!!!

I am wearing...

A blue t-shirt and shorts today, so glad its warmed up here....

I am creating...

A memory book for my new grandson from the first day he came into this world and I will keep up with this till he graduates.. I did that for my sons and gave them to them as graduation presents and they loved them. I didn't think being boys that that would mean much to them but it was one of there favorite gifts and they really took the time to look it over and I think they where both impressed at the time I took with it and how they turned out!!!!

I am going...

To Third Thursday tomorrow with a good friend of mine tomorrow, its an Art walk held in Joplin, since they lost so many trees in the area from the tornado last year they are giving out free trees and my yard could sure use some.... It will be fun to walk around and see all the people and what they have to share.. I love people watching too!!!

I am wondering...

How my sons are they are both linesman and with the bad weather last weekend they are in different states doing line work to repair the damage, I always worry about them but I know they know what they are doing...

I am reading...

I just bought the first book in The Hunger Games Triliogy so i have not started yet but will get right on it. After seeing the movie this last weekend I want to see how its going to all play out and how close the movie was to the books.. I am really more excited about reading the second and third one but I am going to read them all... It might take me all summer...

I am hoping...

The weather stays nice I am really tired of all the storms we have been having..

I am looking forward to...

To my sons wedding, the one with the baby I already call her my daughter-in-law but they are going to make it official in May, they are going to Cancun and then when they come back on June 3rd they are having a big reception I won't see them take there vows but the reception is going to be formal.. I love seeing my boys in tuxes.. which reminds me I better start shopping for my dress..what to wear what to wear???

To quit worrying so much God's got it all but it just does not come easy to me!!!!

I love the smell of this stuff when hubby puts it on!!!!

4. What is your favorite kind of Cheesecake?

White chocolate Raspberry Truffle cheesecake from the cheesecake factory... OH MY!!! this stuff is so good but you gain weight just looking at it!!!!

5. What TV Show do you currently never miss?

This is my Thursday night addiction!!! I love this show and never miss it!!!

THE HUNGER GAMES

This is my downtown where I go see movies on Sunday afternoon's for 5 bucks.. Today they where Playing "The Hunger Games" I have been wanting to see it and I am really glad I did it was really good a little different than I thought but I can tell you I was sitting on the edge of my seat. I have not read the books yet but now I really want to because I have so many questions about how its all going to play out in the next one. Have you seen yet? If so what are your thoughts on it? did you like it? I give this movie the thumbs up that's for sure and I am really looking forward to the next one!!! I wouldn't take small children to see it cause there where some parts that might give them nightmares, heck I might have some.. I am really glad I don't live in that kind of society and if I did I am sure I would not watch it all play out on TV. I know people who would though!!! scarey thought!! I live in a small town in the Midwest called Webb City, it borders Joplin, MO. where the tornado I am sure you heard all about hit last year in May. Whew that was awful, but things are slowly getting back to normal.... I love to cook and sew and I am addicted to PINTEREST

MIRROR MIRROR

I went and saw Mirror Mirror yesterday with a great friend of mine, I loved it. It was the perfect movie for a Pondering Princess to go see!!! I live in a small town in Mo. Webb City, we have a small downtown theater that plays one show a weekend it only cost $5.00. Bargin Huh??? I was glad this one one showing I love Julia Roberts and I thought she did a great job, been missing her but I know she been busy with her kids and this will be a great movie for them to see. CLICK HERE for a link to a trailer and some other fun stuff. If you haven't seen it and especially if you have little ones GO its really good and I give it a thumbs up!!!! All the characters where great, I loved the dwarfs and Snow White was so pretty and did a fantastic job and the prince was not hard on the eyes... Its funny too a great family movie!!! You'll Love it!!!!

This is my family.. My son Kayle on the right got married last August..My other son Kyle had a baby in late July. I am surrounded by my two new daughter-in laws, if I say so myself I have a beautiful family that I hope keeps on growing....I will share some other great pics of there wedding day it was beautiful and fun...

It was a beautiful ceremony, I could not be happier for both of them... They Honeymooned in Hawaii and now all moved into there beautiful new home.. They are a beautiful, Happy couple and I wish them years of happiness...

I'M FINALLY BACK GOOD AND BAD NEWS TO SHARE

Wow it seems like forever since I have blogged, I have missed it but I have been really busy. I know I said in Dec. I was coming back but a really good friend of mine was sick with lung cancer and I have been helping her all I can... she passed away March 5th just 2 weeks ago and its been really hard she will be missed by many but very much by me she was my best friend, her name was Renee, we graduated together and have been really, really close the last ten years. I thought she could beat it but God called her home, I have a hole in my heart and I feel lost without her. I want to pick up the phone and call her but i know I can't...Renee R.I.P. I know your in a better place now with no more pain,but I am so gonna miss you!!!! Here is a picture of her and me at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Mo. Last fall. This is how I am going to remember her happy and healthy..................... I moved back to my hometown because I wanted to be closer to my kids and my new grandson and to be close to Renee, I only lived a couple of blocks from her apartment, I posted that post in December I knew she was sick but she got so much sicker so fast that I never even got my internet turned on. I do now and will be blogging daily I know it will help me get through all the rough times... Plus I really miss all my bloggy friends so bear with me as I get back into the swing of things..starting out doing reviews and giveaways and just talking about life.. hopefully good things I can't take much more bad, I am strong and I will get through this I am thankful for my church home, family and friends who I know are praying for me and her family and other friends.... OK let me end this today on a happier note I want to share a picture of my Grandson he is adorable....

He is almost 7 months old now..This little guy makes life bareable I love him so much..... I look forward to reading your blogs and to blogging myself!!! Have a great day!!!

its been awhile since i posted anything...so much has been going on and I promise to do better in 2012. I have missed all my blogger friends... since I last posted my son got married, I became a grandmother to a beautiful baby boy Brantley, I moved AGAIN!!!! back home to Webb city to be closer to my family and friends...I could go on and on..... I stayed with my parents for awhile and just recently found a house as soon as I get someone over to set my computer up I will be back to posting again. So what have you been up to lately I am sure I have missed alot!!!!
