Harry Hood. It's the song that seems to have it all for me, including loud rocking sections, sections that make you dance, and quiet sections that keep you in awe. Throw in a glowstick war and you've got a complete Phish experience in one song.

True about the multiple songs bit - it all depends on the situation, mood, vibe, point in a set, etc. But I'd have to say my favorites would be a good Lizards (the ending is beautiful), rocking PYITE, or a transfixing Hood. I guess aside from these common favorites I always was excited to see a Squirming Coil end a set, knowing one of Page's wandering piano solos would continue after the other guys had walked off stage.

I love when phish busts out with with a good Punch you in the Eye, Harry Hood, David Bowie, Lizards, Stash, YEM, Antelope oh who am I kidding there's no way to pick just one.

My favorite song is far and away Col. Forbin's Ascent. Hoping to see that song performed was a significant driving reason behind my attending ~30 shows between 1996 and 2004. Yet, I never did see it. I saw some rare stuff, and attended a handful of history book shows, but never Col. Forbin. Now, I realize Col. Forbin isn't on Walnut Creek either, but I'd sure like to see that DVD.
