We aim to further public interest in history by providing facilities for wargaming and educational activities for schools and the general public.

We have our own large, and permanent, premises in Liverpool city centre offering unrivalled facilities for wargaming and role playing. At the LWA wargaming takes many forms. The most common is played with model soldiers, tanks, ships or aircraft. Board games and role playing games are also very popular.

The scale of the games vary from large battles, with corps and divisions, through skirmish games, with squads and sections, to role playing games based on individual characters.
