So this last Saturday I had the chance to go to the Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. This place is a lot of fun! So to describe what it is, I will call it a "drive-through zoo!". So this is what happens, you drive though a large park, with various animals, that will come right up to your car! At the beginning you have the oppurtunity to purchase a bag of food so you can feed the animals. This is an exciting alternative to your regular Zoo. You have to be careful though, because these animals are not shy! They will stick their head in you car as quick as they get to the window. Staff will tell you, when you get the food, not to feed them from your hand. That is really hard! When your hand reaches in the bag those faces are right next to yours when you turn around. The animals know where the food comes from and they are right inside your window waiting for you to offer it to them! Bring wipes for your hands and be ready to get slobered on!

JFK Assasination "The Sixth Floor Museum"

Today I was able to go to The Sixth Floor Museum. This is in the building where Lee Harvey Oswald assasinated President John F. Kennedy. This is an interesting museum that takes you through an audio guided tour, and explanation, of not only his assasination but the legacy that he left behind. I find it fasinating to walk in places where historic events occured. What would it have been like to have seen this happen right before your eyes? What would you have done? How would you have felt? All these questions intrique me! Its amazing how certain places carry a stain of some form of emotion. While standing in the plaza looking up at the corner window, you have this awkward unreal feeling. Its uncomfortable and erie! So much confusion and mystery surrounds the event that ended President Kennedy's life. I would definantly reccomend this museum! It was really interesting!

This was a memorial built to remember the loss of President John F. Kennedy. The giant walls create a place for silence from the busy streets on the opposite side.
