An SAS trooper collecting toys for children was stabbed when he helped stop a suspected shoplifter in east Perth.
The 'Toys-R-Us' Store Manager told 'The West Australian' that a man was seen on surveillance cameras last Friday putting a laptop under his jacket at the store.
When confronted, the man became irate, knocked down an employee, pulled a knife and ran toward the door.
Outside were four SAS Troopers collecting toys for the "Toys For Tots" program.
Smith said the Troopers stopped the man, but he stabbed one of them, in the back. The cut did not appear to be severe.
The suspect was transported by ambulance to the Royal Perth Hospital with two broken arms, a broken leg, possible broken ribs, multiple contusions and assorted lacerations including a broken nose and jaw...injuries he apparently sustained when he tripped whilst trying to run after the stabbing.

Dashy was at the country club for his weekly round of golf.He began his round with an eagle on the first hole and a birdie on the second.
On the third hole he had just scored his first ever hole-in-one when his cell phone rang... It was a doctor notifying him that his wife had just been in a accident and was in critical condition and in ICU.
The man told the doctor to inform his wife where he was and that he'd be there as soon as possible. As he hung up he realized he was leaving what was shaping up to be his best ever round of golf.
He decided to get in a couple of more holes before heading to the hospital. He ended up playing all eighteen, finishing his round shooting a personal best 61, shattering the club record by five strokes and beating his previous best game by more than 10. He was jubilant...
Then he remembered his wife. Feeling guilty he dashed to the hospital. He saw the doctor in the corridor and asked about his wife's condition.
The doctor glared at him and shouted, "You went ahead and finished your round of golf didn't you!" "I hope you're proud of yourself!"
"While you were out for the past four hours enjoying yourself at the country club your wife has been languishing in the ICU!" "It's just as well you went ahead and finished that round because it will be more than likely your last! For the rest of her life she will require round the clock care and you will be her care giver! She will need IV's; you will have to change her colostomy bag every 3 hours; she will have to be spoon fed 3 times a day and don't forget the hygiene care."
The man was feeling so guilty he broke down and sobbed...
The doctor snickered and said, "I'm just messing with you. She's dead. What'd you shoot?

A lawyer boarded an airplane in New Orleans with a box of frozen crabs and asked a blond stewardess to take care of them for him.

She took the box and promised to put it in the crew's refrigerator.

He advised her that he was holding her personally responsible for them staying frozen, mentioning in a very haughty manner that he was a lawyer, and proceeded to rant at her about what would happen if she let them thaw out.

Needless to say, she was annoyed by his behavior.

Shortly before landing in New York, she used the intercom to announce to the entire cabin,

The two videos down the page are the 1st and 2nd half a the 20-minute long phone call between Gov. Walker and "David Koch", actually Ian Murphy of the ever-offensive Beast.

The call is very recent, probably from yesterday, as evidenced by its subject matter.

When "Koch" proposes "planting some troublemakers" among the Wisconsin protesters, Walker says "we thought about that". Not to mention that Walker agrees with "Koch" that Mika Brzezinski is "a real piece of ass."

what happen to living out your life? Im in my 20s and everyone around me is either married in a serious relationship or single but would jump to the idea of being categorized in the first two mentioned. what ever happen to being single, happy and not being forced to go on blind dates? im not saying that dating is bad or marriage or anything above is its just that i have this concept of being able to go out with friends in socials/dates and not feel obligated to ask her hand in holy matrimony. if you dont feel the need to feel committed at that point in time my suggestion is listen to yourself and dont do it.

well this year ive made the choice to find a job in another state and follow through so this morning i received a call offer and i have a interview thursday, this is all to exciting and im glad i made the choice but to be honest im a little freaked out about the idea of moving across the state with only 300 dollars to my name and no idea about how im even going to get there but the hint trying to make sounds like a worth while risk.

so upon my random web surfing i cam across an article in the los angeles times about how a bear swam 246 miles from the alaska to the border of canada. while reading this article they pointed to the situations which are arising where these long swims are becoming too familiar, scientist are saying the reasons for this activity is because of melting ice caps and lack of food in where they have documented proof of cannibalism. after the swim this bear lost over one hundred pounds and also its cub. this article shows how desperate these animals are.

recently Brisbane, Australia is currently under water which is said to be the worst flooding in Australia in over 100 years. after reading reports about the crisis its unimaginable of the terrors that swept thought the city of 2 million people with water as high as the stop lights and the feeling of urgency to reach higher ground. an estimated 200,000 homes have been destroyed by the disaster and the fear of a continuation of the flooding is still a high possibility,the cost of rebuilding the 3rd largest city in Australia is estimated to be around 5 billion which also would be the most expensive disaster they have seen to date. After talking to family that live in Brisbane, Australia they say that the disaster is unbelievable and if they had not evacuated when they did things could of been worse. the expected rain fall that is predicted delays the progression of rebuilding and thoughts of moving county is a very big possibility for them and many others at this time.

i have the tendency to find myself in awkward moments, from seeing a old girlfriend giving lap dances for cheap to smoking reefers in a van because your lighter ran out of fluid, these are a few of my run ins and to tell you the truth its exciting and i wouldn't trade those moments for the world, but what really grabs my curiosity is how we deal with the situation when your mind goes blank and everything around you goes to slow it feels uncomfortable to breath.

Its friday night and im getting ready to leave work and also excited for a 3 day weekend i am amped to work behind me i do the routine head home,shower txt a few buddies only to find that the only person txtn back is a girl who confessed her undying love for me at her party which was awkward since her boyfriend at the time went to hide in a corner somewhere until she got sober enough to remember him. so what do you do? well my thinking at the time was its FRIDAY and i refuse to stay home so yea sure we should hang out. in my haste fearing a long talk about random things until it gets late enough for "gee look at the time"i decided the best way to combat this situation would be through a half a bottle of tequila.
by the time she shows up at the door i almost finished the bottle and im fired up to for what ever she has to throw at me or thats what i thought. she tells me that were just going to stop by her brothers house to pick some things up, we pull up in the driveway just to see keg after keg lined up and a few of his friends hanging out after 15 minutes of walking though the door cup after cup of Budweiser hit the back of my throat and after some time after that i find myself in a basement sweet talking my way for a epic ending to the night and at that point where the sin took place i wake up the next day butt naked trying to find my jeans without waking her.
so maybe secrets do make friends? we carry on like nothing happened since the idea of confrontation would be the long awaited pause which no one likes but sometimes i think, once in a while poke it with a stick.
