Love is Eternal...Stillness Technologies is Not

Photo mm-rp-cz Three Musketeers smallerMy 7 ½ years with Stillness Technologies has taught me how to live in the place of love as an internal knowing.  Whenever it drops from my awareness, I can simply and easily call it forth with a shift of my attention.

Everything else always changes.  Always!  The biggest change in my life right now is the change in Stillness Technologies.  Robert, Cynthia and I are dissolving our partnership.

The miracle of our partnership is that we have been able to speak with one voice for so long.  Now it is time for us to speak with our own individual voices.  Our partnership has worked so well for so long because of the love we have for each other—and the love we have for you.  The circumstances between us are changing, but the love is eternal.

Dearest Friends, I met you three in Mexico almost four years ago and have been completely and utterly transformed by your love, teachings, and guidance. As I said to Cynthia once, I believe you saved my life! At the same time, you put me on the road to self-healing and now I learn how to be my own hero and save my own life every day (while staying in connection and community!). I want to thank Cynthia for "re-mothering" me. I needed it! And I thank Robert for being such a dear and generous friend and asking me to come out to play so many times! And Michael, thanks for the twinkle in your eye (AND INVITING MARILYN!!!), your quotable phrases, your devotion to the path, and so much more. If I could beam myself over, I would SO be there in Houston at the reunion right now. I am limiting travel right now. Can someone ask Robert to call me about where to buy green black walnut hull tincture. He'll know what it's for... Anyway, although, I can not be there up close and personal...know that I AM IN THE PLACE CALLED LOVE WITH ALL OF YOU AT THIS VERY MOMENT. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

just for this small drop of a moment,i choose to breath in life, back to my belly, back to my breath . holy, holy holy, every thing is holy.i say yes to being born new,re-remembering,paradise,it does not have to look different on the second day,oh to the orange of lifes vitality,oh to the purple and yellow of letting go,bending rising absorbing, spiralling dancers in and out,up and down ,moving closer and closer to freedoms gate, its never to late, Sacred child when you felt lost and alone you did not look ,i was right by your side our heart beats, beat together, draped in the warm, the warm id been longing for ,for a long time, the warm that asks for nothing in return. The sound of the ocean grew inside me.Breath ,lifes food, spirits, motion, passions heart. Just for today, i promise to find the yes inside my heart, cause when i die and touch the sky,i find the warrior women who is on a quest, soaring forever high putting me in rhythm, with the one that lives beyond the sky. namaste jennifer/blue

Thanks for the memories. Great seminar, great community. Having participated in numerous seminar communities, the one thing I've noticed is they come together and then they change form or disappear altogether. The fact you've stayed together in this form for 7 1/2 years speaks volumes for the love you must have for one another. Thanks for everything you've done. Can't wait to see what's next. Love - Liah

My body is not getting that whatever it is all of us have created together is ending. Each time my mind starts down the sadness road my body immediately steps in with the kind hand of release. This, in essence, is what my journey with the three of you + our co-journey-iers has taught me - deep trust in the wisdom of my body. Thank you again for your deep foundation in love - I believe that is the core of what has brought the practise of stillness into vibrant being for me. I even have a growing truce, and even trust, in my most difficult step in being in stillness - the not knowing. I would love to be with you all for the first annual Stillness Reunion, my body keeps saying no for now, so I am with you in spirit. I am curious to see what each of you creates next. In partnership and with love, Denise

I want to personally thank all three of you for the difference you made in my life. Learning stillness and the depth of love provided a framework of what is possible. I wish you all the best in your journey. Love, Ellen

I Love What Comes... Love What Goes...

CloudsHow would your life be if you lived by the words in the title above…?  Can you imagine the ease of living?  Just welcoming whatever shows up without resisting.  Including everything without trying to ignore it, battle it, or shift it.

Change is constant.  One of my teachers used to say "If you don't like the way things are, simply wait.  It'll change."  And, conversely, things will also change even when you DO like the way they are.

5 Keys to Hanging with Your Peeps

TribeDon't know if it's so, but I suspect one of the big attractions to organized religion is the weekly community gathering.  There’s nothing like hanging with your peeps. Seems like we can rest the deepest and feel the most nourished when we are a part of a community.

Here are five keys to tapping into the grounding -- and expanding -- possibilities of community:

Key #1:  Pick your peeps carefully.  We are drawn to those who most reflect our attitudes, beliefs and values.  If you want to know what you value, look at what the 5 people with whom you spend the most time.  Or as Jim Rohn says, “You become the 5 people with whom you spend the most time.”

The Miracle of Curiosity
06/05/2009

SpiderI’m not all that fond of spiders.  So when I got in the hot tub the other night, I was not really pleased to see a spider web built between the two tree branches and the tall planter above the corner of the spa.  URGH!  That's the corner where I sit because the pressure jets are the best there, sending out the best water jets and bubbles.

I didn't want the spider in my space, but I didn’t want to destroy the web or kill the spider.  So I reached up and disconnected the web from the places that it was anchored to the branches and the planter. The web and spider gently floated toward the planter and I was satisfied that it was out of my way. That was that.

The next evening, however, the web was back in the same place, glistening with the light from the patio. The spider was sitting happily in the center. I again disconnected the web’s anchors and watched it all float toward the planter.

Today I gave up a chance to go sailing with a dear friend, an early-season invitation manifested from a request oft-asked for, last summer! I gave it up in order to keep my word to my hubman, to attend and staff a festival in our hometown, during which we meet many prospects for our bodywork business. I was remarkable aware of the loss I felt giving this up, aware of the feeling I had while doing so, consciously monitoring the sensations of giving up this desire. Asking what there was to learn here was a piece of my processing this decision. I never expected the high of staying true to my word, the energy and the leadership that showed up in me, to carry the day as I did, thru to the end where our son was tired and crabby and Fred was sick, but I kept to the high road as the center of quiet, calm and effective, loving action. That is what curiousity showed me today!

People - John Gorka 05/09Last week the three of us gathered with a small group from the Stillness Family to feel John Gorka sing.  Here is our happy group with John (the one with the beard).

If you haven't made his acquaintance, John Gorka is the singer/songwriter who graces the end of every Experience Stillness retreat with his beautiful song, Paradise, Once.

Hello gang, You are looking good! Fred and I attended a concert of John's here in Huntington, NY last night! The last time we saw him was at Eddie's Attic in Atlanta, nearly 5 years ago with our newborn son in arms. We found him delightful and traded stories of children piecing together language and music thru hearing and imitating tiny sounds. We sang along, laughed, cried and danced slowly in the midst of a seated crowd to "Love is Our Cross to Bear". The music has many deep and tender anchors for both me and Fred. Thank you for sharing your community of sweet faces with us!

A Reunion with your SELF

People - Robert BabySo I ask you - "have you ever wanted to go back in time?  Ever wanted to be able to do it all over again ... a rewind and replay - seeking to find some greater meaning - some wonderful new way?"  We too have wondered about this - and have sought to find the way to go back and experience the vitality and possibility of youth all over again!

What's THE SECRET to generating that flow??  Well, there are many pieces, but the one that often gets missed - except in our in-person retreats - is the Vibrational Release Technique.  Vibrational Release has two parts that are combined to create an amazingly predictable state of flow:

I join you Robert in realizing that who I am now is who I have always been. There is just greater awareness around how magnificent we truly are! I recently watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button on DVD and was taken by a journey from a baby born old and crippled to a man that slowly becomes young, vibrant and aware - the awareness coming from the wisdom gained that had come before. A fascinating movie and one that stimulates open dialog. Being fully in the moment with stillness and curiosity opens the door for the flow of life to be passionately lived and expressed within that expansion. Thanks for this article Robert! LOVE!!

Change Your Vibration--Change Your Life
05/17/2009

On a recent trip to the bookstore I was struck by the title of Wayne Dyer's book, "Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life, Living the Wisdom of the Tao."  The book is about applying the spiritual principles of the Tae Te Ching, written by Lao-tze around the Sixth Century BC, to daily life.

It struck me that this 2600 year old document, as well as Mr. Dyer's interpretation, is all about changing your thinking.  From my experience, most all spiritual paths are about changing your thinking or your beliefs.

I know I have changed my beliefs over the years, significantly in some cases.  I also know all the pain, suffering and time it took me to do so.

What if you could transform your life without changing your thoughts?  What if spiritual transformation is much simpler than changing your beliefs?

Ahhh! That book title had hooked me in over a year ago as well as his discussions in other books about how our vibrations affect others. The thing is, I had not come across any teachings so far about how to actually tap into and shift my vibrational levels - that is, except through Stillness Technologies. I am becoming more and more aware of how my body is emanating those vibrations and am loving watching my Self thriving in that state as I practice this more with the course materials and events you provide.

"Taking part in the Technology of Stillness has been life changing for me.  I have achieved a much calmer spirit and I can manifest things 'on demand' when I stay quiet.  A positive aspect has been access to incredible relationships - now that I am open and available, I can really 'be with' people in a way that I could never have been before.  Best of all, I feel great!"
