So today marks the first day of the first challenge group I've been a part of with my amazing beach body team.. it's the 21 day challenge! WooHoo! I'm so excited to start but even more excited to see the results after 21 days!

I figured that throughout this journey I could keep up with my blog, try to do daily postings, and show y'all my results and offer any advice/help that you may want/need! I also thought that in this post I should explain a little bit about me, my life, and what made me decide to embark on this new healthy lifestyle journey!

So, first off, I'm 23 years old. I am married to my absolute best friend, and he is the best person in my life and brings out the best in me. He is a US Marine who currently is away from home more then he is at home. It gets hard at times, but I just remind myself of the amazing, selfless, thing that my husband is doing for his country and for us and I am okay with sacrificing my time with him. At the moment he is training in California, at CAX, which sadly is pre-deployment training. That means that when he comes home in a couple weeks...he will be leaving for deployment. It's such a bitter sweet feeling. Knowing that he will be going back overseas, back to Afghan, back to the place where I feel like I JUST got him back from, back to a life of 5 min phone calls every few weeks and back to never ending waiting. It makes my heart ache and my eyes water just thinking about it. Deployment is the hardest thing I have ever had to face and I can't believe that I will be facing it again. But it will all be okay, at least that's what I keep telling myself.

My husband is stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC and we live in base housing. We lived off base out in town for a while but we recently decided that living on base would be better. I feel safer living on base and its perfect with his deployment coming up soon. We have two fur babies, a cat named Chase and a dog named Bella. I love my babies so much. They make it easier for me to be without Adam. They keep me busy and keep me strong. I'm going to school to be a Medical Assistant and I should have my degree in about a year.

Starting this healthy lifestyle journey was FAR from easy for me. I struggled with staying on track with exercising and eating better for a long time. After getting married and moving to a different state I gained TOO much weight and I was just plain uncomfortable with everything. I made the decision and was FINALLY able to stick with it after my husband left for CAX in the beginning of July. It makes it easier for me to stick with a routine when I have only that to focus on. With my husband gone I have nothing but time and going to the gym and working out took up time.. which is good because I'm wanting time to go by fast.

So, its been about two weeks since I've committed to this journey and today marks the first day of the 21 day challenge. I am going to post my before pictures, my before weight, and my before measurements. Then as time progresses in this challenge I will do update posts and on the last day I will do a transformation post!

So, here is my before picture:

(Don't mind the towel on my head, just got out of the shower when I took the pics)

My before weight: 162.4 lbs

My before measurements:

       Waist: 38
        Hips: 39.5
        Chest: 38
       Right Arm: 12
       Left Arm: 12
       Right Thigh: 22
       Left Thigh: 22

In order to progress in this challenge I will be going to the gym everyday and incorporating some Turbo Fire and Brazilian Butt Lift. I will eat more healthy and I will keep up with a healthy sleep schedule.

Okay, so that's it for this post but be sure to comment below if you have ANY questions about anything!

So first things first, time to get more organized with my life. Don't get me wrong, my house is pretty organized and clean almost all the time. I'm pretty OCD about that. But as for other parts of my life.. HA there's no organization there. With all the time to myself that I'm about to be having I'm going to try to develop new ways to keep my life more organized.

Secondly, I'm going to use this blog as a way to vent my emotions about the stupid "D" word. I'll try my best to keep up with it and write new entries every day.

And that's about it for now.

Till later..

I'm not quite sure why I do it, or why I find it the best way to start off my posts, but I will always make the title about the song that I'm listening too at the time.. even if it has nothing to do with what I'm going to write about in the first place.

Like today for example. I'm currently listening to all Lady Antebellum songs and "Wanted you More" came on right as I was starting this post. That made it the title. It's an amazing song & Lady A is an amazing, talented group but what I planned on writing about really doesn't have anything to do with the song.

Actually, there is no song that I can think of that will go with my feelings today.

I'm so blah today. I feel so out of it and so lazy yet I keep getting random bursts of energy too. I cant seem to find anything that I really want to do today yet I cant take just sitting around and doing nothing.

It's so warm out, but it's overcast so it's a blah day.

And of course it doesn't help that I'm in one of my blah moods as well.

You know what else doesn't help? The fact that I've lost all motivation to finish this post & now I have to go cook dinner.

Being a grown up sucks.

More later..

I cried for so long".

Sometimes in life things happen and there is nothing you can do about it.

Nothing you can do to take away the pain.

Nothing you can do to make things better.

Nothing, just nothing you can do.

There was recently something that happened that made me feel this way.

You may have heard about the Marines who were killed by an explosion in Hawthorne, NV,

well, my husband was there.

He was right there.

But he came home.

He came home & I couldn't be anymore happy about that.

But how is that fair?

How is it fair that there were precious lives lost that day.

How is it fair that there are families who will forever mourn their loss.

How is it fair that such young, talented, men were taken.

I may have gotten my husband back.

I may be extremely happy that he is home & okay.

But I will never forget what happened,

Or the precious lives lost.

"But you went away, how dare you.

I miss you..

They say I'll be okay,

but I'm not going to ever get over you."

RIP boys, Fly High Marines

1/9

I guess this post was just a way for me to get out my emotions and feeling about that day. I've never been more scared in my life then I was that day. I had heard about the explosion from a friend while I was at school & all I could think about was how I had not heard from Adam yet that morning and instant fear took over my body. You never really know how strong you are until being strong is your only option. I've heard that quote many times before & it didn't mean anything to me until that day. I've never really thought of myself as a strong person.. I just do what I need to do and deal with what needs to be dealt with. But after that day I've decided that I will never give myself less credit then what I deserve. I am a strong person & I will never forget that.

Having my husband home now, especially after what happened, feels like a dream come true everyday. Sometimes I just sit and I think about that horrible day & how I thought my life was going to change forever.. and in some ways I was right because my life has changed. I've learned how to appreciate things more, how to live more for the moment and to quit worrying so much about things that cant be changed. I've learned to appreciate my husband and the things that he does way more then I did before.

Life is short. Live it like its your last day. Embrace the positive, let go of the negative. And simply, be happy.

Sorry for the un-organized rambling but I'll be posting more often now & this was just me getting back into the reigns. :)

I sure haven't been on here in a long time! I keep saying that I am going to but I never end up actually doing it. Lame, I know.

Life has been so hectic lately though. We just moved into a new house.. a HUGE house at that. 4 bedrooms, 2&1/2 bathrooms and an acre of land.. its like our dream house and it's absolutly amazing that we have it at 22 years old! We couldn't be anymore blessed <3.
We got a kitten too! A grey and white precious baby kitty named Chase! He is a little monster but I love him :)
Also, school for me has been just crazy. So much studying and reading and class I'm going insane.. it's just crazy. But I love it and wouldn't want to not be in school right now. Not working though helps, gives me more time to focus on my school work and I currently have all A's so it's been pretty awesome.
Hubby has been home for a while now.. I love when he's home. :)
And last but not least, I traded my Iphone for a Blackberry & I'm loving it.
Dont judge me.

First things first though, just want to inform everyone that I am writing this blog from my new MACBOOK!

AHHH.. I'm so freaking excited that I have this computer.. it's beyond perfect.

Also, I withdrew from my online school & decided to go back to a traditional school. Miller Motte to be exact to study to be a Medical Office Assistant.

My husband has officially re-enlisted and we are going to be in J-Ville for at least another two years, possibly four.

I quit my job to be able to focus only on school & I couldn't be happier about that decision.

I finally was able to get everything done in our house and all of the rooms are complete and it feels SO much more like home to me now.

Currently though I'm all alone until the middle of October.. but that's the price I pay for my husbands happiness I guess.

He's training in Georgia right now, he's been gone for two weeks already. :/

Instead of listing everything that has happened to me I guess I could actually write about something interesting, but sadly I cant find anything that is that interesting to write about.

I guess I need more time to collect my thoughts.

Ill be back soon.

I'm starting to feel distant again
So I decided to just pick this pen up and try to make an attempt to vent"

Wise words Mister Marshall Mathers.

It seems as if lately, whenever I'm feeling down and in a bad mood, all I have to do is put on some Eminem and just sit here and think. I don't exactly know why it helps so much, but it does. It makes me feel like there's nothing in this world that is too much too handle. I've already dealt with more things in my life then I ever thought I was going to have to deal with, and I made it out of everything. I became stronger because of everything that I have dealt with.

My husband is the only person that truly knows everything that I have been through. He is the only one that can make me feel better about certain things, and he does such an amazing job.

He's also the only one that I push away from. It's weird, it's like.. when I know that I need him the most, if he's not here right away because of work or something, I just push away from him and stay distant for a couple of days. Kinda my way of getting back at him for being gone so much.

I know that's mean, because frankly he can not control when he goes away or for how long, but I still seem to get frustrated and mad at him for it.

I don't know why.

It makes me mad at myself for doing it, but I just can't seem to change.

I'm in one of those positions now.

Kinda frustrated at him because he's at work and I just want him home.

I know it's childish, but frankly I just don't care.

I want to be with him at all times.

I just want him all to myself and I'm tired of sharing him with the USMC.

On a positive note though, he is ONLY at work so he will be home later tonight. I know that I have it a lot easier now, with him home and not deployed, then many other military wives. I am very grateful that he is home, I'm just a big baby and want him with me all the time.

I think it stems from the deployment he just returned home from, after dealing with that I get nervous every time he goes to work because I fear that he is going to come home and say he has to go again. I know that's always a possibility and something that I just have to live with.

I knew what I was getting into when I married him, I chose it.. I get that.

But it's easier said then done.

And frankly, no I didn't know what I was getting into because I didn't marry him for the uniform. I married him for who is is, the USMC had nothing to do with that. I fell in love with the person he is, not the job he does. And I don't think that many people understand that. People always say, "you knew what you were getting into when you fell in love/married them" but what they don't understand is that, you can't help who you fall in love with. It just happens. And if it's meant to happen it will happen, no matter what. Love doesn't happen because of someone's job, it happens because of the person they are. Or at least that's how it happened for me. If Adam had any other job in the world I would love him just as much as I do now. Wearing U.S Marines on his uniform, over his heart, didn't make me fall in love with him.

I just wish people thought before they spoke when it comes to telling military s/o's how to feel when their partners are away.

You will never understand until you are in the same situation.

And this goes for any type of long distance relationship as well. Long distance relationships suck, no matter the distance, if you can't see the person you love on a regular basis.. it hurts.

I think I'm going to end this vent here, because I don't really have much more to say AND it's time to go pick up the hubby from work.

and your heart's the moon. <3

So, I started this blog to be able to vent about things that happen in my daily life & for a place to be able to let all my emotions out, so that's what I'm going to do now.

"I'll do whatever it takes, when I'm with you I get the shakes.. my body aches when I ain't with you, I have zero strength" Eminem, you couldn't have said it any better.

Whenever I'm with my husband, its like nothing else in the world exists, and everything just makes sense. But, when hes gone & not around, I feel like I cant do anything & I just feel like straight poop. I don't get why though? Especially right now, when he has only been gone for a little less than two weeks.

I just went through a 7 month Deployment & I'm feeling this way about two weeks?

That's it, I'm officially a loser.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I can cope on my own & I've made the best out of the time that he's been away. I got two new jobs, one at Rite Aid as a cashier and one as a writer at teen mom talk.

Check it out here : www.teenmomtalk.com

And follow me on Twitter for personal updates @krystle_harmon

I re-decorated the house a bit, spent quite a bit of time writing my short story, and finished a class in school with a 100% average. I'd say that the time that he was gone was pretty succesful. But now that there is nothing left for me to do but sit and twiddle my thumbs until he gets home, I'm starting to feel pretty shitty.

It's like two steps forward, and one step backwards.

I can never catch up on my feelings.

I wish that things would just be easy, and stay that way. And I know that once Adam is home, and we get back into our normal routine, everything will be better and I will feel fine. But I just wish I had the will power to stay okay when he's gone too. And it's not like he wants to keep leaving me and going to all these places, it's his job and he has no choice, and I know that. But it doesn't make it any easier.

You would think that after two years of the same thing I would finally get it. But I can guarentee that no matter how long it's been it will always be hard to have him leave.

And you know what, I'm okay with that, because that just shows how much better he has made my life and the positive impact he holds on me.

I love him more then I ever thought I could love somebody.

And that'll never change, no matter how much time we have to spend apart.

"Is anybody out there, it feels like I'm talking to myself... no one seems to know my struggle and everything I come from. Can anybody hear me? I guess I keep talking to myself, it feels like I'm going insane, am I the one who's crazy?" Eminem, again, you just say everything so right.

Anyone else feel the same way I do?

What do you do to make it better?

Leave a comment & let me know!

Although I was unable to go with him, boo :( , he did send me some pictures, when he could, of things he did and places he went. I've decided to compile some pictures into this post to show ya'll what Fleet Week is like, however; I do not have many pictures and will have more when he gets home! I will be making a part 2 to this post when he gets home and I get more pictures and hear some of his adventures! :)

SCREAM!

that is all.

I'm so over being frustrated all the time, why can't this life just be easy?

Ugh.

End vent.

Oh, and just when I write this & feel completly fed up with everything...

Our wedding song comes on my Pandora.

Oh.

So, obviously I cant stay mad now because all I can think about how perfect he is & how much I love him. Even though I have to deal with some pretty stupid stuff, like *cough* USMC *cough*, I still love him more than anything in this world because God gave me him.

God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
And for when I think I lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it's true
God gave me you

On my own I'm only
Half of what I could be
I can't do without you
We are stitched together
And what love has tethered
I pray we never undo

Cause God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
And for when I think I lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it's true
God gave me you, gave me you.
He gave me you.

I love you forever & a day baby.

So, I'm having one of those days & it just hit me about 30 minutes ago. Ugh :/

The beginning of today was not bad at all but its like the day took a complete 180 flip and now I feel so sucky & lonely. I hate this feeling. And I don't know how to shake myself out of this one either, so not cool.

To start from the beginning of today :

I woke up really early today, felt extremely rested and so ready to start the day. I knew that I needed to get up and get going early because I had a lot of job hunting to do today. So, I got up right away and showered and got myself ready for the day. It took about an hour and I danced around and sang while I got ready. I was in a great mood, despite being here at home alone for another two weeks, I felt great when I woke up today.

After I was all ready & I ate a yummy breakfast of oatmeal and a glass of milk, I packed my computer and school work and headed over to the mall to get applications.

I made a quick pit stop at the rental office of my apartment complex before I left though, I needed to ask about splitting the rent payment and he was SO nice about it and I'm SO happy that he said it was okay to do!

Makes our life & finances a bit easier to deal with for the next couple months!

After leaving the rental office, with the sun bright as ever and the temperature in the 80's I started my journey over to the mall.

First stop : Rite Aid, located right outside the mall. I picked up and application from there and headed over to go inside the mall to get more.

I walked around to a toooon of stores.

I got applications from, Victoria's Secret, Barnes & Noble, Rue 21, Claires, Ulta, and Bath & Body Works.

After I rounded up all the applications I could get I headed over to the Cafe inside Barnes & Noble and filled out each of the applications. It took me about an hour to fill everything out completely.

After each application was done, I took them all back to the stores so that I wouldn't have to come back later in the week to return them, and I figured it would open up my opportunities to get a job if I returned it the same day I got it.

Now that all of my work at the mall was done, I was originally going to sit and write some more of my story in the Cafe BUT the Internet was so spotty so I decided to just come home instead.

Once I made it home, and got everything situated, I logged onto my Virtual Campus and saw that one of my grades were posted from last week.. another 100%! I was so happy!

It was a great feeling.

I was going to attempt to take a nap after that but I decided that I was going to try and put my extensions in my hair because I am so annoyed with it being short.

So I did, and I loved it.

My mood was instantly increased when my long hair was back.

Then I called my mom, had a little chat about this and that and after we hung up I started making dinner.

Spaghetti & Broccoli. Yum.

And now, this is where I am at now. All of a sudden just in a sad mood and feeling so down about everything. My husband is gone for another two weeks...

but I JUST got him back 5 months ago.

That was not enough time for me to have him home, and now he's gone again?

So not fair.

I know, I know, I'm a Marine wife.. I need to get used to it. And believe me, I can handle things and myself on my own. This relationship taught me how to do that. But I just got used to having him here with me, every single day, and he already had to leave again?

Ugh.

I know it's only for two weeks & he only went to NYC but uhm, I still miss him like crazy and considering I haven't heard from him since Saturday..

I feel like it's last summer all over again.

I sit & stare at my phone.

Every time it goes off I wish it's going to be him, but it never is.

All I do is think about him.

Being in our house, that we made together, is making me miss him more.

Everything reminds me of him.

His smell, clothes, shoes, everything is all over this house.

I feel so weak right now. I know that there are girls out there that are going through a Deployment and ones who haven't seen their husbands/fiances/boyfriends for a longer period then I have, but I know how they feel too.

I just went through a deployment myself.

He just came home, Christmas Day.

Shouldn't I be able to deal with this, especially considering it's only a fraction of the time that he was gone before?..

But, nope. Not me. Not at all.

I feel weak, and alone.

I hate it.

I just want him to come home, now.

Is that too much to ask?

Anyone else dealing with feelings like this?

What do you do to cope with them and make them go away?

Leave a comment & let me know!

Meaning, like 5 inches. It was a spur of the moment decision, but manly it was made because its so HOT here in the summer so I figured that with shorter hair my life would be easier.
But, uh.. I was wrong.
waaaaah :'(

But no worries because I bought myself some extensions & now I can have my cake and eat it too!
Well, kinda.

See I'm not too sure the extensions look all that good, so I've decided to put before & after pictures up here and see what ya'll think!

Here's one of my hair BEFORE I cut it short, no extensions were used here :

Now here is one after I cut my hair :

And lastly, here is one with my hair cut short AND my extensions put in :

SO, what do ya'll think?

Yes, or No for the extensions?

Leave a comment & let me know!

It's going to revolve around Grace and Mason, who meet when Grace is in her second year of college through a mutual friend. Mason is a United States Marine and is stationed 700 miles away from Grace, yet somehow they meet, fall in love, and go on a life long journey together.
I don't have much done yet at all, but I basically have it all planned out and how I want it to be.
I figured I would let ya'll read what I have so far.
Any tips of any kind are greatly appreciated!

Here it is :

Grace

It
was a hot summer that year, almost every day the temperature rose well over 90
degrees. Grace, a waitress at Beach Eats, a summer restaurant located on the
coast of Lake Michigan in the small town of Harmon, knew the high temperatures
very well. She usually worked from day to night, open to close. She said it was
to save money for college, that was starting up again at the beginning of
August, but everyone knew she worked so much to keep herself busy and away from
home. See, Grace was raised with two wonderful parents, ones that barely ever fought.
Everyone in town knew them as the happy McKenna family, one that had a
beautiful home, and a beautiful life. Grace’s dad, Scott, the pastor at the
local church, was the nicest, good-hearted man the town of Harmon had ever had.
Her mom, Sally, a kindergarten teacher, was known for her kindness and people would
always go to her for advice and help. People in town say that, “talking to
Sally is a whole hell of a lot cheaper than therapy, but the results are better”.
And that’s the truth, Sally McKenna had a way with people, making them feel
better and helping them through tough times in their lives. Scott and Sally,
together, were unstoppable. The entire town could feel, and see, the love the
two of them had for each other and their children, Grace and Max. Grace saw it
too, and she knew how lucky she was for having such great parents. However,
after that summer, the McKenna family
would never be the same.

Grace
was twelve years old when it happened, and even at twenty-one years old she
still feels like it was just yesterday. The whole family was vacationing in
Florida, visiting family and having a great time. They were staying with Scott’s
parents, in their beach house right on the coast. Max, Grace’s younger brother,
was five years old and just as rowdy and rambunctious as any five year old would
be. Grace loved him more than anything in this world and even though he would
get annoying sometimes, she would do anything for him. They spent the entire
month of July at the beach house with their grandparents, laughing, playing and
making memories they would never forget.

However,
that’s the part that Grace is having trouble with, the never forgetting.

She
remembers it, clear as day; the entire family was heading down to the beach
that day. Max was running around, driving everyone crazy with his excitement. Grace
was trying to get ready, but she kept being interrupted by Max pounding on the bathroom
door saying, “sissy c’mon! Hurry up, we going to the beach, beach beaaaaach!”
then running away to share his excitement with their parents. Once everyone was
ready, the family finally started their journey down to the beach. Max, of
course, ran ahead of everyone and even with his parents and grandparents
yelling for him to stop and wait for them, he sped off right towards the beach.
The beach house was located directly across from the beach entrance and from
the back door of the house there was a pathway that took you to the street, and
right across the street was the beach. Grace knew that Max wouldn’t remember
that there was a street he needed to cross before he got to the beach, and even
though the street was not that busy, she sped after her brother yelling for him
to stop and wait for her. But, like any other five year old, Max did not listen
and kept running to get to the beach. It wasn’t until they heard the screeching
of the tires and the silence of Max’s yells of excitement, that they realized
something serious was wrong. Grace got to him first, but she didn’t know what
to do. Her baby brother was just lying there, in the middle of the road, not
moving. The driver of the car had gotten out and was just standing there,
motionless, and just staring at Max. Neither of them knew what to do to help
him and all Grace could think to do was call for her parents, who were already
sprinting there after hearing the tire screeching. After that point Grace doesn’t
remember much, it’s all fuzzy to her, all she knows is her life would never be
the same after that day.

Max
was rushed to the local children’s hospital with serious injuries. The driver
of the car that hit him was driving well over the 35mph speed limit and did not
see Max as he attempted to sprint across the street to get to the beach. Max
held on though, he fought the biggest battle of his life, and shocked many
doctors when he started to pull through his injuries. It just wasn’t enough
though, and after spending 3 weeks in the hospital things just weren’t getting
much better. He needed a surgery that was supposed to repair the break in his
back, but nobody knew that the surgery was going to lead to what it did. It was
the longest 5 hours the McKenna family had ever waited. Not knowing what was
going on and if Max was okay was killing all of them and Grace tried to stay
strong about it on the outside, but inside she was falling apart, screaming and
begging for her baby brother to be okay. The news the doctor gave the family
that day was devastating. Max was in a coma, the surgery did not go so well and
the coma was his body’s reaction. The words “I’m sorry but he’s in a coma” just
sent chills all over Grace, she didn’t know what to say, do, or think anymore.
Max was her everything, her favorite person, and now she doesn’t even know the
next time she will hear his voice. It was the most intense thing she had ever
had to deal with, and being only twelve years old, she didn’t know how to
handle it all.

Max
held on for eight years, he never came out of the coma, but he seemed to show
some progress. It was two weeks after Grace’s twentieth birthday that the
family made the decision to let Max go. In eight years the progress that he
made was not very promising and the family decided that the best thing to do
was let Max go and be with God. Grace felt her heart ripping out of her chest,
she didn’t want to let go of her baby brother even though she knew it was best
for him. She was being selfish, and she knew it. She wanted him there with her,
even if it meant he would be in the coma forever. That was better than not
having him at all. She wanted to be able to read stories to him, tell him about
her day, vent to him when something was bothering her, sit next to him and
watch him breath and just know that he was there with her, just like she spent the
last eight years doing. Max couldn’t talk back, couldn’t move or even breath on
his own, but Grace knew that talking to him and being there with him was the
only thing she had that made her feel better about the whole thing. And if they
let him go she knew that she would never be able to do those things again. It
was heartbreaking, but the decision was made and on September 7, 2008 Max received
his wings and flew home to be with God.

Summertime
reminded Grace of Max the most, and this very hot and humid summer brought
nothing but memories back to Grace. That’s why she worked as much as she did,
she knew it was to keep herself busy and to keep her away from home but she
would never admit that to anyone. If anyone asked, it was to raise money for
her second year of college, but she didn’t have anybody fooled.

It's pretty long, but it is only a tiny bit of my story.

Let me know what you think! :)

That's okay I love the way you lie.

Sometimes I feel like I am the only one dealing with something like this. I moved 700 miles away from my family and my friends to be with my husband, and don't get me wrong I LOVE my husband and he is absolutely amazing, but I didn't know that this move was going to cause me to lose all of my friends.

The entire time that Adam was on deployment, I was back at home, and all my friends were nothing but supportive. The time passed by so quickly because I stayed busy with my friends and family, but now I hardly ever talk to any of them.

Before I moved, I expressed my fear of this happening to my friends, but they said that it would never happen. Sadly, they were wrong, and I know that they are not the only ones to blame because I could try harder to keep in contact with them.. but honestly I feel like all of our lives are so different now that we don't have too much to talk about anymore.

Maybe I'm just being selfish? Maybe I'm just being too needy? Maybe I just need to learn to be okay on my own?

Yeah, Maybe.

But that doesn't make it any easier to deal with. I kinda feel betrayed, like everyone's just forgotten about me since I've left. Like they all lied when they said that we wouldn't lose touch.

Am I the only one that this has happened too? If not, what did you do to make it easier? It seems like making friends here is impossible... Any tips on how to be more successful at this?

Leave a comment and let me know!

And that may seem like a lot, but it never really helped me loose weight, just kept me in shape.

However, lately, I have finally gotten fed up with how lazy I am and have decided to do something about it. I have been working out, in my own little workout routine for about 3 weeks now. I have been eating WAY more healthier then I ever have before too, and I'm finally starting to feel better about myself!

Basically there is one major routine that I do everyday,

this one ^

It was super hard to start off on this, I know it looks way easy, but believe me.. it's not as easy as it looks!

It is 100% worth it though, it hurts like hell every time I do it BUT I'm loving my results!

Sometimes I go to the gym too, but mostly I just do what I can at my house. I'm a pretty shy person, so I generally like doing things at my house more then going out in public places like the gym where people can watch me, all sweaty and gross.

Eating healthy has made my progress so much better, I never realized how much junk food I actually ate until I cut it out completely!

It helps tremendously that my husband is a Marine too, he has to stay in shape for his job so we work together to reach our goals. It's so fun to workout with him!

What are some workout routines that ya'll like to do?

Leave a comment and let me know!

For the most part, I have a set schedule of things that I do everyday.

The first of these things is wake up ridiculously early in the morning, fix a pot of coffee for my husband, and on occasion drive him into work.. when I need the car that day anyways.
I try my best to fall asleep again when I get back home, but most likely I can't and Im wide awake at 4:30am. So lately I have been working out a lot, so if I can't sleep when I get home in the morning I will either go for a run or do some sort of workout.
That generally wakes me up even more & after that it's time for breakfast, nothing fancy, just a big yummy bowl of oatmeal with some strawberries and a glass of milk.

I have never been one for healthy food

but lately its ALL I eat and I feel

amazing!

After breakfast it's time for a shower, which generally is a looooong, relaxing, hot shower. It seems to be that most of my thinking occurs in the shower too. Major life decisions are made in there.

Next comes cleaning the mess the tornado, better known as my husband, leaves around the house every night. I feel like I clean every single day, it's kind of an obsession.

Eating lunch usually comes next, mainly a tuna sandwich with some almonds or peanuts.

After that is ME time, it's when I will work on school work, my blog, or just watch television. It usually last about two hours.

After that I start dinner, and I try to have dinner made every day before my husband comes home, but it generally never works out too well because he has no set schedule.

But once he gets home we eat dinner, go for a walk or do something outside that's fun, and come home and spend the rest of the night on the couch watching tv.

Then we go to bed, and the cycle starts again the next day.

My life may not be too interesting BUT I love everything about it.

The only thing that I would change would be by getting a job.

Hopefully I get one soon, then the juggling of full time school, keeping up the house & keeping my husband happy all while working will begin.

But I got this.

I can do it.

What are some things that ya'll do on a regular daily basis?

Leave a comment and let me know what you're life is like, day to day!

Sometimes I wonder what life would be like if I never had to say goodbye to him as much as I do. It's almost like once we finally get settled into our life, he has to leave again.

Shouldn't I be numb to this by now?

Is there even a way to get used to this? No. There is not. None. Never will happen. I know that I shouldn't be having such a hard time with this right now, I mean c'mon Krystle.. it's only two weeks, I just went through a 7 month deployment. I know that I can do this, and I know that I can be okay and take care of myself and our house while he's away.

It's just the fact that, without him.. I feel empty.

Part of my is fighting this feeling, while the other part is giving in to my emotions. I don't know which part of my I should side with right now. I want to be strong, hell I AM strong and I know this because of the 7 months we spent apart and because of the things I have already overcome. But I just wish I didn't always have to be as strong as I am. Sometimes I wish I could be the one that leaves, and the one that he worries about constantly, the one that is in danger, and the one that did not always have to be alone.

But the thing is, I don't want him to feel the way that I do. I know how much it hurts me, and I don't want him to feel pain that way.

So, I'll stick to the role that I have.

And I will do it while I hold my head up high, I will take care of our life at home while he is taking care of his responsibilities at work. I will make him proud, but more importantly...

I will make myself proud.

I can do this.

Talking myself down from an emotional fit by writing all my feelings down on here is one of the best things I have ever discovered. It constantly makes me realize that I am stronger then I think and that I can overcome anything that the USMC throws at us.

I will overcome & deal with anything I need to in order to keep you in my life.

You are my everything & nothing will ever change that.

I feel like nothing is working & it's starting to make me feel bad. HOWEVER, and I dont know if this is a good sign or what.. but I've been feeling VERY sick to my stomach lately and just not myself. I'm really hoping that this is a good sign but hubby and I could use all the good vibes possible right now to make this happen!

This post basically has no point & I'm hoping that the next baby post will be to let everyone know good news! Let's hope so at least!

Positive thoughts & vibes are appreciated!

Thanks ya'll :)
I hate alcohol and if you experienced what I had to last night, you would too. Don't get me wrong.. I enjoy a couple drinks here and there but with the amount of alcohol that my husband consumed last night.. I don't plan on drinking for a long time.
Basically, he drank enough for the two of us to have both been wasted. With that being said, I was not around for the last two hours of him drinking (I was in our bedroom watching a television show) so I did not monitor his drinking. I don't feel as if I need to monitor his drinking anyways.. he's an adult, and can do what he wants and I'm not his babysitter. However, if I would have known how much he truly drank I never would have let him get as bad as he did.
Basically, I went into our bedroom at around 10pm to watch a TV show and he stayed out in the living room with his friends, who were also drinking, and continued to drink. We had gone out to dinner with all our friends earlier in the day too, and while we were there he had 4 alcoholic drinks and a shot of some weird looking, gross smelling alcohol. So, that already puts him 5 drinks deep before we even got home. Well, on the way home from dinner we stopped at walmart because the boys wanted to continue to drink so they bought one of those home draft beers from walmart and when we arrived home, they continued to drink. There were three boys drinking, I was not drinking, and the third boy left after being at my house only about an hour and he had not drank more then two cups of beer from the draft. The draft was completly finished (therefore, my husband and his one friend had finished basically 5.7 liters of beer themselves, on top of the drinks already consumed at the restaraunt) BUT not only was the beer gone but the bottle of chanpagne from our wedding that I was saving for our one year anniversary was opened and halfway gone as well.
Now, I do not care that my husband was drinking.. I am not his mother, I don't tell him what he can and cannot do. I was just very conserned for his health considering the amount of alcohol he drank. BUT I did not know how much he really drank until he woke up in the middle of the night throwing up as bad as he was. I thought I was laying next to an exorsist because of the way he was trowing up. And not to mention, he was completly wasted and has NO recolection of throwing up either of the two times that he did. So, not only was I unable to sleep at all last night I also had to monitor him to make sure that he wouldnt choke on his throw up. BUT that was not the only problem. He somehow hit his head sometime throughout the night.. I did not witness him hit his head or even notice it until the second time he threw up. I had no idea what to do.. I was panaking because I was scared he had a concussion and that if he fell asleep again, he could potentially not wake up. I tried really hard to get him to go to the ER but there was NO convincing him and NO way I could get him out of this house on my own. He was being so rediculous about everything and made me so scared the entire rest of the night.
Basically, this was just a well needed vent about the whole situation and he is doing better now. He's currently napping on the couch and the bump on his head seems to have gone down a lot since last night but I still just feel so nervous and wish he wasn't so difficult last night.
Ugh.
End Vent.

Why you ask? Well, honestly.. I have no idea. I think I'm more nervous to have to go on base and drive around by myself and without my husband. I legit have anxiety about driving in places that I am not sure about, I'm a freak. It makes my stomach be in knots and a bunch of other fun stuff. I don't know why I'm like this either, I'm a pretty good driver.. I think it's because I have to be in control at all times and when I'm driving, although I'm in control of my own vehicle, I can't control what other drivers are going to do therefore, I freak out at all times.
Anywho, enough about my crazy anxiety.. I HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW TODAY and I'm pumped. I am so bored with my life right now and the fact that I sit around all day while my husband is at work and I can't wait to work! Hopefully everything goes good today, (cross your fingers!), and I get this job because it would be perfect. Only open until 6pm everyday, opens in the morning at 9 AND not even open on Sundays! How much more perfect could that be?! Exactly. Perfecto.
But, here I go again.. another completely pointless posting. Oh Well.
