Feb 19th
11:53AM I hear the new washer is here so moved to my hammock. Grampa's not home yet to help move it in but I'm ready, so hurry.

3:47PM Hmm, the new washer sounds funny. I'm giving it a look from my hammock. I hope it will still be comfy.
I used to sleep with mom but Stewie showed me how to get in the washer and sometimes I'd join him. After he died I decided to sleep in there all the time. Aside from laundry day I don't get jostled by others on the bed and it's my own nice dark quiet room.

Her old washer died so we got a new one. It makes new weird noises so she has been giving it dirty looks

4:48PM Was still concerned about the odd noises from the new washer but mom gave me some ants and I curled up after. I can sleep now.

5:52PM Fresh load fresh creepy sounds mom gave me some cheese. After finishing and thinking it over some more I have curled back up.

7PM Darn creepy washer sounds like it's laughing at me. Getting used to it though just sighed and curled back up.

10PM Woke from my nap. Was giving the washer dirty looks and noticed my toy sitting on the shelf, then staring at the washer more, maybe a treat again?

No, don't want blue cheese, ketchup, no thank you, ants! Yes, yum.

10:15PM I'm a bit concerned about what might be going on in there.
I inspected my toy and decided to go back to sleep for now.

11:30PM Up for my ketchup. Not getting much sleep with the washer anyway.
11:40PM Tried laying my head over my toy but it's not such a good pillow so laying next to it.

11:53PM Got up and needed lots of snuggles and breath sniffs from mom. Smelling her calm breath made me happy and I played some then hugged her a lot. Now I'm with the others playing in the closet. I've not messed with that washer yet.
Feb 20th
5:23AM I tried sleeping with mom but I was very jumpy and she is too lumpy. I heard that washer torturing animals and hissing all day. I kept starting at the others moving around. Mom took me over there but I was still nervous so she stuck me inside. I checked it out for a bit then mom opened the lid and I came out. Mom gave me ants for being brave but I was still a bit jumpy and wouldn't even touch the washer as I headed for the tower instead. Having an avocado to calm me down.

9:45AM I refused to go anywhere near that scary sounding washer. It sounded like it was torturing animals all day. I slept in my hammock. I wouldn't even go back down there to eat. I'm living off avocado. Mom wants to see how I feel after a quiet day but she's already thinking how to arrange her room to keep my old one. I need to just stay freaked out and I'll get to keep her. (yeah washer are hers cuz it's the males that blow hot hair;)

9:47AM It's a death trap that eats little animals. I'm sure of it.

12Pm Think they took pity on me. Room is being rearranged! Do I complain about the arrangement? My washer will be on the other side of my tower from before.

3PM I've now been dumped out of the hammock and placed in my old washer. I sniffed carefully in case it was a trick and sat half in half out. I noticed I'm on the wrong side of the tower and there is a weird ladder instead of the shelves, microwave and clothes basket set up. I'll figure that out later. With a clean blanket I let myself be placed inside. I think I can get used to this.

Moms note: We had to tear the old one apart to remove the pump so it'll be possible to clean it and have the water drain into a pan or that would become nasty. I think this arrangement will work though my TV is way across the room and I got a pile of displaced thing to figure out what to do with, not to mention laundry yet to put away.

12:32AM Woke to a mango right outside my door. I'm a happy Pua!

10AM I had my door open peeking out and Ori climbed in my washer with me. Yea, a guest.

10:07AM Having second thoughts. She's an active little thing.

Pua had it open peaking out and Ori slipped in and hung around awhile.

Mom tried the rubbermaid house. Ori had fun playing in and on it. But guess they didn't like their plastic house after all. Aurora slept in the closet. Ori played in it but wont settle in. Well, too bad for now the fabric one is being washed.

2PM Ori did settle down in the plastic house but she shoved all the bedding to the front to block the door. I had anticipated their wanting privacy and had draped fabric over the door but Ori had pulled that down earlier.

Feb 22nd

Well, Aurora slept in the closet third night in a row even though mom put the pee pad house back. Apparently the real reason is the new position of mom's bed. Guess she hasn't yet learned mom wont randomly pounce her. Maybe try the pee pad house in the closet then. Ori preferred the plastic house and is now sleeping in the hammock so plastic house can go back on the cage.

Me I am happy in my washer and like my new ladder though mom says I climb it like an awkward child. Oh and Darn Ori visited and was playing with my door and left it open but mom closed it when she got up.

Pua's Mommy: So Ori got up for a snack and I put the plastic house back up with a bigger blanket in it. I decided to try putting the fabric house in the closet and Aurora left. She did come back and try it but left again a couple times so I took it down and put fresh bedding up. She tried that and left again. She tried the plastic house a couple times during this but didn't like it so finally settled back in the closet and Ori joined her. Think I'll try turning the cage house and see if she likes that better so she wont have to see me while in it. I'll try the plastic one first since the only use the fabric house got last night was being peed on.

Ori and Aurora slept in the closet last night though Ori likes playing in the plastic house. Okay try the fabric house again and if that doesn't suit them guess they just like the closet better now.

It worked. Aurora & Ori slept in the fabric house. Aurora is happy with it turned so she doesn't have look at me. I should maybe be insulted ~ Pua's mommy

Big puddle of pee on the new washer last night, so there.

Dreams really do come true. There is a rotten, buggy tree stump in the house! Gonna have fun tonight. Neighbor does landscaping and it was in his trailer so we asked and he let us have it. Grampa chopped it in half so it'd fit through to door so really I got half a stump but still cool.

‎1 AM and I Ori, Aurora and I just got up. Mom was mumbling something about us being lazy.

3:49PM Some people came to see my royal self today. I said hi and took them on a lovely stroll in the woods. I was a bit annoyed when they didn't want to be done when I was. They seemed to like Ori better but someone has to be the court jester or maybe we could call her the press liaison.

We had guests and no way to get the pee pad house looking nice so this worked. The inside is clean they have only been peeing on the roof.

Thinking of trying a house made from a giant rubber maid so I only need to change bedding and not wash a whole house.

12:47AM I got up around midnight, had my ketchup and turned in for a nap in my hammock. Not moving yet. Aurora too had her breakfast and treat then turned back in. We gotta pace ourselves.

1:12AM Okay, finally up. Joined the others in the big hammock for some play.

1:37PM Ori got up so I abducted her to see the great outdoors. She was less than thrilled but it's good for her. I saw the new neighbors out so brought her over there to say hi. Then she headed back to the yard. She decided it wasn't so bad and explored the back yard all over and under the shed then came back in and went and hid behind her momma in the fabric house. ~ Pua's Mommy

5:25PM Patched the holes in the walls from little claws hope they don't tear it all out before I can paint it tomorrow. ~ Pua's mommy.

12:38AM Had my snack, checked out the new log, had a drink, in my hammock for a bit Ori was poking about on the tower under me, so I joined her.

10:30AM Mom was pouring me some ants and goes "Oops I gave too much" Silly that's not possible.

So some anteater just pulled the patch out of the closet wall and the rest are intact. Time to start painting, it's also laundry day. ~ Pua's mommy

12:40AM OMG the washer broke and wouldn't drain water. Mom took the laundry out and ran the spin cycle like a dozen times so now it's dry and I can sleep there but Grampa might try fixing it tomorrow, so could get ousted to the hammock anyway. Last time it happened was due to a little stuffed animal trapped in the works.

PS I hung my head out the side of the hammock watching the washer till she finally stopped the spinning. I knew something was up. I need my bedroom dry and in working order

12PM So after mom giving grampa two choices for after breakfast activity of fix the washer or buy one, we now have one ordered. They said Saturday or Monday. Going to be a BIG laundry pile. I'm not sure if I like the idea of a new apartment or not. We'll see. Mom better save my toy out of the old one.

10:42AM Been up all morning but gonna try turning in again. Darn insomnia.

2:20PM 2 pounds of ants have arrived. This years must be a different species. They do not smell like burnt cake, not sure what would compare to current smell and are soft bodied and nonstingy, Dry but kind of sticky in an odd dry way, they taste like lemon instead of sour apple. Woke up to taste a few. Grade A ants.

Followed Aurora around like a puppy dog last night. Talked her into a crazy play session on the floor.

10:40AM Up had snacks and went into my hammock. Laundry day was supposed to be toady not yesterday. I'm making a point.

1:30PM Went back to my washer for awhile then came back out. Mom dressed me for a walk then I went into may hammock but she pulled me out once she was ready and we went.

11:40AM I volunteered for Laundry day. Snug in my hammock.

Pua's mommy: I hate when I have a nightmare about the anteaters. Dreamed Aurora's claw got ripped out. I had my dad hold her as I tried to push it back in but that hurt her and didn't work. Then saw she was gashed up all over like she'd been mauled. Dad said maybe we shouldn't put it back in because it might grow back. I was like but we want it to grow back. My wakeful mind thinks maybe he meant it might grow back on it's own if left alone. Besides that if it really happened and was put back it would just pull out again when she tried to use it and would hurt. I've seen photos of a few wild ones missing a big claw. Ocelots maybe.

1PM Back to my washer. Tamanduas are not meant to be up in the middle of the afternoon.

4:30AM Note to self: Apparently paying mom a visit in bed after rolling around in doggie poopies is a bad thing. It's not like I meant too. Aurora and I were playing. Aurora didn't seem to mind.
The bad part: Getting washed after mom realized what was on my fur.

11:20 AM Ori came under the covers with mom for the first time last night. She didn't stay real long she just wanted to poke and sniff at mom's legs.

8PM Up and having a vinegar bath!

10:30 AM Was up at 9 with Ori. Now up again! Ketchup please!

12PM Pua's mommy: Aurora is sleeping in the closet nest so I took the house to wash and put the old one up temporarily. Ori is wondering why the house shrunk. "I know I fit in here last night".

10:30 PM Soon as the house was put back Ori left her mom in the closet and went back to it.

2AM Still in my hammock. Aurora cried for me some but I just felt like staying in tonight.

2 pounds of dried ants ordered. Mom was temped to buy ant eggs but they cost twice as much. Maybe for my birthday?

Instead of getting out of the hammock for the mango she hooked a claw into it and pulled it up to her.

New feeding station

So Ori destroyed the old feeding station. She put a few holes and cracks in it then one crack all the way through. She was lifting that part up like a door, tipping the bowl and licking up the spillage.

The old holder was made of an old gold pan attached to a board with screws. This one is a stronger bucket bottom and I put hooks in the shelf so that clean up will be easier since it's not permanently attached to wood. I may put linoleum or something on the shelf eventually.

11PM I'm up at a normal hour after a long night and days rest. Having a snack.

11AM Got up for a snack and went to sleep in the hammock. Laundry day, I say.

3PM Slurp, nom, nom, nom, yummy slug! Mom brought it to me.

11PM Up and playing with Aurora. She tried ignoring me at first but I knew she really would rather play than nap.

11:45PM The others went to their cloth cave. I'm left to wait in the closet nest alone.

1AM Mom scared the others into the closet so I could cuddle with them, yay!
Oh mom says she didn't scare them for me she needed to fix the hammock again. Bonus then I get company.

A bit later I ran some water in the sink and she ran across the room tail up having a blast pretending to be scared. Silly kid.

11:42PM Ori went out in the snow. She's a crazy girl! Mom opened the door to show her. She put a hand in the snow and pulled it back. Then she charged right into it. Her head kept getting buried! She got confused circling around cuz she couldn't see and mom helped show her to the door she came in then wanted right back out. She was bulldozing through the snow going up over her head! Mom REALLY should of had the camera but she didn't expect Ori to like it!

I've never been in snow that deep and fluffy myself but I'm smart enough to know all snow is evil. Mom just let her stay out till Hyzzie was done with potty. Ori wasn't thrilled she wanted to stay out playing in the snow. That child's a nut case!

11:30AM This morning when I gave their last feeding Ori noticed I was wearing a different shirt and grabbed the back as I was leaving and checked inside again but she had my back to check out this time.

11AM Laundry day was scheduled for tomorrow but I volunteered today. Sleeping in my hammock. I expect my bedroom to be squeaky clean tonight.

2PM Jupiter escaped last night and I just found 2 severed power cables and a headphone chord. And that is exactly why you don't get to run around unsupervised young man.

12PM Up had a snack and now having a groom.

5PM I smelled ketchup so I got up. It's 5pm. Someone left a ketchup jar on the drier! Mom left it there for me to clean up when I got up but it woke me instead. How can I not get up smelling something so good? It was yummy though. Moved to my hammock after.

Due to being up and noon and 5 pm I only got up for a big drink earlier then went back to bed but I got up and checked behind the sink now, off to play with the others.

10:20AM Up for my midday ketchup. Having some food too.

10:30AM Mom brushing her hairs sounds creepy. I had to stop eating till it was over.

10:40 OMG that noise nearly had me bolt into the washer. Sounded like a rattle snake. Something from the kitchen. I instead demanded cuddles from mom.

The toaster does that sometimes. It burnt the toast. Not sure on quite technically what the sound is though. ~Pua's mommy

11:20AM Went back to bed awhile ago. Will be up later tonight.

1:13PM Up again had a big drink and some ants. I need to find that sandman and pinch him. He's slacking.

Ori always thought it a good idea to be on my head too ~ Pua mommy
‎"she stops eating and moves away from the nest- dragging her legs on the ground or grass- and that movement removes all the rest of the ants." Pua does that after being in the cold to warm herself up. I've observed before she seems to deal with cold the same way as she would ants, trying to claw it off. This is the first I've seen someone else mention the leg dragging.

1 AM Poor Aurora she misses me since I'm sleeping in but I was awake quite a bit during the day. She tried to get in the washer with me but she kept standing on the lid. She would get her front in then the rear end would weigh it down and squish her and she'd pull back out. She finally gave up. I would have welcomed her joining me though.

10:37 PM Mom was missing and no ketchup when I got up but I did get up early. I laid in the basket till she came back and I sniffed her breath, then I stuck my nose way in her mouth. So she let me have a teny tiny sip of champagne. Once a year wont hurt me. I do love the stuff. First time was kind of an accident. I didn't like anything but my food at the time. Grampa let me sniff his glass thinking I'd go on my way. I took a sip then seized the glass in my claw and started drinking. He had to summon mom to help pry me loose. Tonight mom put a little splash in the bottom of one of my own mini-glasses.

11:30 OMG the world is coming to an end! I was outside and there were a couple loud bangs then dogs started barking. I ran back inside as fast as my legs would carry me. I am now hiding in my hammock.

11:50 Okay relaxing again *yawn* but I'm not leaving my safe hammock.

Prehensile tails are lifesavers. Ori was messing around in the cage hammock and she clawed a corner loose and plummeted. Her tail wrapped around the hammock and stopped her fall, hanging by tail only then once she gained her senses swung over to the shelf. That kid is darn tough on hammocks.

We were able to get the cat tree after getting a generous gift via pay pall for Pua's birthday. They all use it quit a bit late at night. No one uses the cubby holes though. I should have got one with those little hammock things, maybe. To remmedy this I tried putting a cup of cheese in the cubby hole. Ori went right to it but Aurora was a bit late to the cheese party.

So last night I was minding my own business preparing to pee on the new house and Aurora goosed me. Boy I jumped but I really wanted to pee so ignored her. She goosed me again so I played a bit but then finally did my thing and she clawed at the log while she waited. I think I was the first to pee on it. The others have been using the closet shelf. Mom has a blanket on top of pee pads there and they like that.

Mom ground up over 8 pounds of beef heart.

I'm not sure Hyzzie takes her taste tester job serious. She may be in it just for the food. Quasi had to eat several pieces of heart before she tried any. My taste testers got taste testers.

10PM Aurora is moping because it's too cold to go out. Everything is frosty.

I got a mango at midnight and got up at 11 the next morning for ketchup and stayed up so got blue cheese and ants too. Then we all got treats later. We got some clothes and blankets too.

The room was all dark and I thought I over slept. Turned out mom hadn't gone to bed she was in the other room eating dinner. I was feeling down and she rubbed my belly. Then I went into my hammock. I'll have my ketchup at a more reasonable hour.

Dec 27th

Up at noon! Who's messin' with my biological clock?
Had a little ketchup then had some ants. Mom said I had an ant beard.

Ori & Aurora are both sleeping in the hammock so mom hosed their house with nature's miracle and oxyclean in the shower and it's drying now.
Oops mom got complaints from all other human members of the household about the smell in the bathroom after washing out the pee-pad house.

2AM Ori's first order of business seems to be to try and destroy the new giant house. Darn it that's for sleep you got logs to claw up. ~ Pua's Mommy

10AM Aurora was not sure at first but after seeing Ori in the house she decided she likes it both are curled up inside. Early Christmas present. They needed more space. Only now they are curled up in the back leaving room for another anteater or two but they both weren't fitting in the old one. Ori was always spilling out and Aurora had some wear spots in her fur.

5:30PM Aurora was sleeping in the closet till Ori came to join her, pushed under her and made her play.

11PM Snuggled with mom before heading to the closet tonight.

11:30PM Mom washed the hammock and soon as mom hung it back up Ori went in it to sleep. At least she let mom get it hung up. Ori normally hops in before she's got all corners up.

Was playing with Ori in the little hammock last night while she climbed around hanging from the outside.

10:30AM Was up had some ketchup, time with mom, checked the closet but no one was there so had a bit of cheese and back to bed.

5PM Humans are odd. They spent the day pickling and canning radishes and radish relish. They should stick to ants. Find them, eat them, done.

11:30PM Went to the back to pee but forgot the little fabric house isn't there any more headed for my second choice of a corner and got put in the cat box. I filled it up and came back to my room to see the others.

1AM Was feeling a bit moody too but now Aurora is finally playing with me.

1:20AM Didn't last long so I went to cuddle and play with mom but now I'm done and not sure what to do with myself.

12:10AM Odd found a tiny ant on Ori she didn't want it so I gave it to Pua. Maybe was from their log. ~Pua's mommy

11AM I knew it was going to be laundry day so I got up and went into the hammock after my ketchup.

I went to see Santa at the barbers. I was a bit hyper with it being laundry day and I accidentally scratched him with a back nail trying to get down. He wasn't wearing gloves like last year. He was nice about it but keeping claws crossed I don't get coal. The photos did come out blurry though she was supposed to email better photos but it hasn't happened yet :(

3:30PM I went for a hike in the woods after Santa but mom forgot to bring a camera. It was cold, lots of frost but I had fun anyway mom just didn't let me go as far as I wanted. I did take a break and run around the outside of the little shopping center too. The Boy scouts selling trees weren't too excited "that's just our neighbor".

11:43PM Aurora went outside for a bit. I guess she wanted an adventure too.

Went on a walk in the woods. It was exciting. When I got back I mixed things up by deciding to sleep in my hammock instead of return to the washer.

So we did have to turn back when mom saw a loose hunting breed lab. He was coming our way but stopped when he caught my scent. Mom thought he must have tangled with a skunk before and thought I smelled like one. He later showed up again when I was exploring but he turned tail when he saw us, good boy you don't want mess with the anteater or her protective mommy.

We all love blue cheese!
It depends on my mood right now if I like spray cheese but Ori still loves it.
Ants are always good of course
Any feeder insects such as wax worms, not fond of crickets though.
Good sized cloth houses would be great since Ori beats them up 20" long by 15-17" wide and 15-17" high would be ideal
Hammocks Ori climbs on them to play like they were climbing nets or something. The big play hammock is about 39x39" and my smaller sleep hammock is 33"x33" We like pockets but they are not that important for the play hammock. I need them for my sleep hammocks though. Sometimes all three of us play in the big hammock(about 15 pounds each).
Full sized blankets or twin size quilts are good for in the washer on or the shelf.
Clothes are great Dog clothes work size varies by designer, baby clothes can work but mom sometimes has to adjust them.
My measurements are:
Base of neck - 10.5"
Around her chest under her armpits - 15.25"
Around the base of her arms - 8.50"
Just her back from armpit to armpit - 8.25"
From between the shoulders to her hands - 10.5"
From the base of her neck to her waist - 11" long(could a some to reach her tail)

We aren't too into toys. We love old logs but don't suppose santa wants those in his sleigh. My favorite toy is the lint trap in the washer.
I also love roses. I love to tear them open and lick up the pollen.
Of course I'm still checking my stocking for a washer drier combo machine or that toy we all could share, a male Tamandua ;)

12:16AM Ori ran back to the closet at high speed. I think the sound of the washer startled her. Aurora jumped onto Ori and started a play fight.

1AM Mom gave me blue cheese and everyone came running.

12PM No one used the blue house except to pee on it. They are sleeping in the closet. Pua stayed with them till around 7 this morning then she went back to her washer.

Mom was ignoring me last night so I peed in her spot. Then she finally noticed me and rolled over right into the big puddle. She sure was cranky and I didn't even get my treat. I thought she was ignoring me and needed a reminder not to do that but I guess she really was sleeping.

2:30AM I slept on mom's chest for a few hours last night. She's nice and warm but kind of lumpy so I went back to my washer eventually.

12:30AM Oops forgot to freeze Aurora's chiller bowls today. Could make for a tired me as she will be demanding I get her cold food during the night and I've got to get up early. Pua isn't even up yet. Lazy thing gets excessively nocturnal in the winter.~Pua's mommy

1:15AM I got up and had my ketchup, now taking a nap in my hammock. It's important not to get going too quickly.

Aurora was thrilled to run around in the rain tonight though she didn't stay too long. She's grooming out the water now.

It's a little ridiculous when Ori still tries to ride her more. A little more so when her mom tries to ride her.

11PM I went out for a bit but had to come back in. Cold freaks me out. It bites at my ears so I try to paw it off like ants but it doesn't work. So I was getting jumpy

I'll help you, mom

Poor Aurora: I heard some complaints and saw Ori laying on top of the house and thought she was smothering her momma. I encouraged her off then saw the real problem, though Ori wasn't helping.

Aurora was somehow inside the top panel of the pee pad house. Ori must have torn a hole. I tried to help her find her way out but that wasn't working and Ori came back to "help". So I made sure no ears or noses were in the way and cut a small hole. It turned out to be too small but that was all I could do but I cut it in the soft stretchy part. She stuck her face out with it tight against her head. She pulled back in after a bit then stuck her arm out when she failed to find another way out. She got her head out with her arm and pulled. She drug the house half way across the cage then her shoulders popped out and Aurora was reborn. She has retired to the closet bed with with Ori.

Inspection report: Small hole ripped in ceiling of pee pad house by little claws prior to the rescue hole outside. Structure is deemed unlivable. Temporarily replaced with old blue house sitting on a pee pad.

12:30AM Omg I was in the pee pad house with Ori when everything started shaking and making noise. I fled for the closet. Ori stayed in the house unfazed. Mom was moving the cage. She said she had to get back there to put the hook back in the ceiling for the hammock. I'm not so sure it was worth it. Aurora was on the tower and eventually hid behind the washer. It was scary stuff.

1AM We've gone back to normal now but that was dramatic. Ori's still in the house. Lazy kid.

Aurora went around the yard a bit then came in. I just sniffed at the window and deemed it cold out. We ran around the house a bit and snuck in grampa's room when he got up to go to the bathroom. Now we're playing in the closet.

9:30AM I slept in the closet with Aurora and Ori. Mom brought breakfast and Aurora left. So I drank it and now Ori left. I'm all alone now and not in my cozy washer. Not sure what to do with myself yet.

11:12PM Aurora is now randomly moody. She has her period though so she's entitled.

I spent lots of time cuddling with mom. Now joining Aurora in the closet and cleaning her ears.

11:21 Awe got Aurora to play some but now she's grumpy again... and now playing again. Moody girl but I'm working to cheer her up.

11AM Apparently there were carpenter ants in Pua's log last night. I found one survivor on it this morning during clean up. No wonder she enjoyed it so much and is now snoring away in the washer.

Did get almost all stains out of the pee pad house this time.

10:47PM Napping in my hammock. Aurora and Ori are playing in the closet. I'll join them later.

5AM I was getting Aurora food and she got her claw stuck in the wall. I unhooked her claw and she rewarded my rescue by walking over in front of my face and sniffing me. ~ Pua's Mommy

11:51Pm My big claw finally shed. It's all wicked sharp now.

12:30AM Playing with Aurora in the hammock. She ran around outside a bit earlier but I took it easy tonight.

Logs become more interesting when someone else has shown interest in them.

11AM My favorite toy attacked me. My claw got stuck in it. I was pretty depressed abut it but mom got it off and gave me ketchup. Ketchup made it all better. I'm having some breakfast now.

I'm now keeping my winter hours of sleeping in real late but i was up and playing with Aurora in the late night and wee morning hours. We played like crazy from 5-6AM

Okay we put up with pee in the hammocks but poop is not allowed. Let's remember that this time ~ Pua's mommy

12AM Aurora's having some blue cheese!

1AM Maybe Aurora just ate the cheese cuz she missed lunch. Her tummy was growling like crazy and she's been eating her soup forever and still going.

I do wish Ori would finish shedding. She looks like a freak with two blond hips and the rest of her dark. Not as bad in person as it is on camera though, looks bald instead of blond. The rest seems to be going slow.

While the 1st family was debating if I was an anteater or aardvark a lady stopped to ask if I was a badger. Then the family that live at the end of the park came out to see me. They were nice. He thought it was amusing mom was walking an anteater on a leash in a Tutu. He was referring to my shirt dress. Mom wasn't wearing a Tutu.

Aardvarks are "dirt pigs" and look their name but people get them confused with anteaters all the time. My movements may seem a bit badger like when ambling around on the ground but I am missing the markings among other differences.

Note of interest: Termites and cockroaches are closely related. Wood cockroaches live in groups and eat wood. Like termites they have special bacteria to digest the wood for them. Pua found some once and deemed them yummy. http://www.nhm.ac.uk/about-us/news/2007/april/news_11364.html

12AM Had a long walk today so when I got up from sleeping I had to have a nap. Then I had my snack and went to the closet and napped till the others got up. We've played some and are napping again.

Sometimes when you own a human you have to remind them who is boss. Mom refused to give me the attention I demanded. Something about having a cold and it being the omg you have to be kidding me hours of the morning but that's no excuse. When she couldn't get rid of me she tried moving. So I peed in her spot on the bed. That should get the point across.

10pm Mom changed out the closet bedding. I burrowed down inside the folded blanket.

I was nicer to mom last night. I just woke her at 3AM and only wanted to snuggle on her chest and nap. Till I saw Ori running around and went to join her.

9pm Darn mom made me come in cuz she says it's too cold. I think I should decide what's to cold for me. It was 40F and dropping.

10pm The start of Castle tonight was scary. I hissed back at it then ran to my room.

11pm I kept running around for hours playing and just running all over but I'm finally taking a nap.

11:57pm Aurora joined me in my hammock. Yea play... awe now she's playing with Ori on the tower, oops now chasing her instead.

I get up hours earlier than the others and Ori sometimes gets up during the day but kids are weird like that.

12AM Yummy garden aphids. Ori likes them too.

Chiller freezer bowl sets in the middle and keeps her food cold up to 5 hours(package said 3 but she waits up to 5 hours to bug me again unless it's almost empty).

Didn't last long they still want to sleep. I snuggled for awhile but have decided to go back to the closet and wait.

10PM How crummy. Mom spent an hour finishing up dog food, then gramma and grampa went to bed early so I'm locked in, mom's doing some catch up laundry and I got my period too.

We're all playing in the closet like crazy

Washed the pee pad house tonight but the pee stains stayed. Will try oxyclean next time. It's clean anyway. just doesn't look it. Ori and Aurora both have checked it out. ~ Pua's mommy

Also washed the large hammock so Ori is sleeping there. Aurora slept in the closet, maybe the house was too clean for her.

Got a pink bathrobe for Pua. I couldn't wait for her to wake up so tried it on Quasi. They usually take the same size.

We got Aurora's chiller bowls so Grampa spent a portion of the after noon working out a bowl holder. We'll see how that goes tonight. That girl could save everyone a lot of trouble by learning food that is not ice cold is still food.

10:47Pm Just got up. I got up early yesterday because mom was out to dinner and I had to be up to greet her and make her feel guilty.

11AM Ori's gone nuts and is running around the house like a crazy fool. Mom tried taking her out but she came back in fairly quick.

10PM Mom needs to quit blowing her nose. It disturbes Aurora cuz she thinks mom's hissing at her. I remember the first time mom blew her nose around me. I had been eating and flipped over on my back showing my claws and hissing back. I thought a Giant anteater was about to steal my food.

Ori got taken out to run around the yard. She did some but she's an inside girl. Think she wants a Madison avenue apartment and some fancy dress suits and occasional sophisticated cocktail parties.

This is where she spent most of her time "outside" She went in and kept going back and forth and exploring in there before finally coming out and spending some time in the real outside world.

Up and having some breakfast

Darn ousted from the washer for laundry day.

So hyper ran around outside but mom brought me in. Enjoying a very sloppy mango and back scratching. A bit cool out tonight, makes me itchy.

Aurora was out for a bit running around at supper sonic speeds but she wasn't watching where she was going and smashed nose on into the corners of the raised garden a couple times. She gave herself a bloody nose so had to get locked back in. She's mad but okay. Bleeding stopped once she got in where it's dry.
