Thyrell's Tutu Shoppe (Tutu Making)

2018-08-22T02:23:00.000+08:00

Now here's the thing... I know how to make a tutu dress! :D

Wonderin' how it all started?

I just saw someone posted on how to make a tutu dress without the need for sewing. I was so curious that I intentionally asked her how to make it. I asked a few questions about where to buy the materials, where's the cheapest store and price for a tulle fabric and etc., I also searched and watched the youtube on "how to make a tutu dress" where I found it so easy to learn with their online tutorials. I 've watched most of the videos again and again and started imagining and creating something in my mind on how will I start it on my own. I just need the guts, the kinds of stuff, and of course, the TIME to do it.

Lucky me! My hubby doo was just so supportive of my likes and wants and he started supporting me financially adding some money to mine to start with my craziness, lol! I actually call this tutu making as my craziness because there is so much that I wanted to make which scrumbles in my mind.

When I started making the first tutu skirt for my niece, it was just a wow! to me. Yes, of course, I made it alas! Then I made the next one, and the next and so on! I consider the tutu making as my hobby, but my hobby turns into a business. My craziness turns into a real business! :D

The first tutu skirt I made. Fits 0-6 months old. Hard tulle fabric.

I started showing it to friends, posting to social media, and offering my crafts to friends which somehow they supported it. Eventually, I've started receiving messages from different people ordering a tutu for their kids. I've always made the most out of it for customers satisfaction and happiness in my creation.

Daffodil and Rose Pink tutu skirt. Soft tulle fabric. Fits 7- 9 years old.

Now, I was invited to sponsor a fashion show to present my own creation of tutus which actually makes me nervous. I really don't know how will they take my designs and everything that I will make, I feel shy thinking that it's not going to stand out from the others. But when the organizer receives my crafts, she immediately sent me this message telling me that she really wanted what I made. All of it was a real wow and beautiful! Well, that was flattering of course! I had the big smile in me, and the tiredness plus the sleepless nights, the cramming, the money spent, the nervousness that I had, was just simply a happy memory now.

This is the first time that Thyrell's Tutu Shoppe will be joining a huge event in SM Manila for the fashion show. It will be held on August 26, 2018 with its theme, Color it Purple Fashion Show!

I named my mini online business "Thyrell's Tutu Shoppe" after my son's name. I don't have a baby girl, that's why my frustration is being put in here, hahah! Soon! Hoping and praying for another angel in our family.

Tubigan Resort

2018-03-17T18:07:00.000+08:00

Now I have to update this, after checking out that there are so many viewers of this Tubigan Resort post of mine. I am very much sorry for the late update, excuse the busy mom here. :D

Summer 2016

This is the resort we’ve been last summer 2015 and I was so amazed that it was really different from the way it looks like now. It was well developed and so many statues and kids stuff that you can see. More pools and cottages are added and a clean vicinity that you can notice. The parking lot is way too spacious for guests and they are actually strict at the entrance. No liquors are allowed inside the resort. The landscape is cool and if you can spot well, the place tends to catch children’s interest. Their favorite cartoon characters statues are everywhere and in fact, it is huge and cool! Pictures can tell more but experiencing it by you is pretty different!

Here is the recent update for Tubigan Resort rates as of 2018. For more information, you can check their official Facebook account.

Here are our photos way back in 2016, and looking forward that we can visit Tubigan Resort for a bonding time again this summer 2018.

One Laiya Beach Resort Batangas

2017-07-10T02:17:00.002+08:00

Another summer time story is here. Not bad at all that I made this meme late. Oh, sorry guys! Just a busy mom here!

So let’s start this mini adventure to Batangas where it takes for hours to travel just to reach this beach resort somewhere in Laiya Batangas. If you are really good at it in travelling that far and don’t get easily dizzy because of the summer heat, well I guess some fun like this will really suits you. One Laiya Batangas is way far from the city of Manila, typically a province like where you can spend your day or your weeks for a good rest, relaxation, and of course for pleasurable time. Considering Batangas as one of the most popular place with lots of beach resorts to dangle around for sure you’ll never regret leaping in, in one of their sea waters and you’ll probably say, you want to go back for another escapade. After those 3 long hours of travel, we reached One Laiya Beach. A one fine resort with fine sand and various cottages, and a huge view of the sea water where you can really appreciate.

On our way to Batangas

The view of the resort way from the sea water

Mochi

The huge car park

sunrise by the beach

This is the second time we brought Mochi at the beach, and this time with my in-laws and hubby’s relatives. (Thanks to Tita Benny for making everyone’s summer time merely possible and unforgettable.) Mochi had the happiest time on the beach, I guess. He had these toys pail and shovel to enjoy the sand ever, and a bit of smashing into the water with us. We took pictures (unlimited pictures) for keepsakes and some bonding time with everyone. Videoke time at night, but they have a curfew for this thing so as to respect everyone to have a goodnight stay and sleep. Videoke ends at ten (10:00) in the evening and you can start your day singing again the next day. The cottage where we all stayed is a huge one for the whole family. You need to call up for reservations and make some arrangements before showing up so you’ll be able to make sure that you will have the best cottage for a stay. . Their amenities for accommodation are the Kubos, Beach Huts, and Garden for your choice. A wide car park is available too.

Beach wedding can also be done on this resort. Luckily there was a beach wedding happening on that day, but unluckily it rained and quiet ruined the set-up for the wedding. All guests are dressed in white and I can really say that it’s a “wow!” The wedding went through after that horrible rain. And oh! This is the second time I and hubby got the chance of witnessing a beach wedding and we always laugh and joking to each other for a beach wedding for us too, for a time! (Me... thinking!LOL!)

Aside from the peaceful place of One Laiya Beach and their naive draft of the resort, these still caught the visitors’ interests which make the resort itself more distinct from the other beaches. So as to add some fun for your day too, the Banana boat ride can be a massive entertainment for everyone and other activities such as boating, snorkelling, billiards, jetski, boating, volleyball, and basketball.

One laiya Beach Resort is located at Brgy. Laiya Ibabao, San Juan, Batangas. You can also reach their facebook page here for more inquires about their rates, packages, and activities. https://www.facebook.com/onelaiya/

Manila Ocean Park

2017-05-16T23:44:00.000+08:00

A time spent with my two boys at the Manila Ocean Park was indeed a memorable one. A great day for us to have had discover the beauty of what’s inside of this amazing park. Everyone is talking about it, and of course we too are excited to find out and to experience the real world of the Manila Ocean park.

A friend actually gave us tickets as a gift (so that’s why those who are going to ask for ticket prices, just refer to their official websites) and then there we go lucky and happy to have it. We made the most out of it when we were there especially our son Thyrell is with us and it’s going to be his first time to see huge sea creatures in real life. I will be posting few photos only at least a sneak peek to the view of the Manila Ocean Park to where we’ve been.

The first show we watched was the Sea Lion Show. It was funny and really an amazing show where we enjoyed it a lot. It is fairly good to kids to watch this show where there is a human and animal interaction, where sea lions can dance to a tune of music and copy humans’ moves and waving to the crowd.

The next booth we visited was the World of creepy Crawlies. It was a huge eeeww to me and before entering that booth I was really thinking and imagining what crawlies there may be inside since I hate those kinds of stuffs. But on the other hand, it is going to be my chance to see them and at least know them. So I don’t have a choice of course but to see what’s moving inside of those mini cubicles. It’s not also allowed to take pictures with flash from our cameras so as not to scare the crawlies. Scientific names are posted in each cubicle so you’ll know what kind of species you’re looking at. Ohh! And by the way, I kinda don’t like worms and snakes! Lol! :D

The Jellies dancing sea fairies were so cute! You’ll see a bunch of jelly fishes inside of the dark room where different various types of these sea dancing fairies are displayed and shared with stunning lights. How so delightful they were but you don’t know how poisonous or deadly some of these kinds. But the fact that they were appealing to watch, you really can’t resist not to take pictures with these mini sea dancing creatures.

The Yexel Museum was the one who made my little boys’ day. He was so happy seeing those huge stuffs around and taking pleasures to touch the statues. It’s merely a fun for the kids since every character they know from the toys are everywhere. The Yexel museum has the artistic way of showing gratification for the toy characters and icon you once knew. Now, you want to know what really makes my day too at the Yexel museum? Well, it was the Game of Thrones chair. I really love that freakin’ chair! I am an avid fan of the GOT series and I really did take the chance to sit and took my picture feelin’ like a Cersei on that chair! Oh! I’m waiting for Jon Snow! LOL!

My dream chair! lol!

The fish spa was cool too! The Garra Ruffa fishes who eats your deadly skin on your feet was really tickling and startling. We sit and take a few minutes to relax with our feet in the water while watching those fishes making a mini spa on us. Having this kind of foot spa is truly more than a spa massage from your salon. I’ve read more about these fishes when I get home and gave me the best idea (in some way) that this could be a good business, a fish spa. (crossing fingers!) J

I and my hubby enjoying the fish spa

Other attractions that we had were the Trails to Antartica, Oceanarium, and the Symphony Evening Show. These was all awesome attractions. Tiring yet so satisfying for a day of fun and bonding. I suggest however to every family and a group of friends to experience the Manila Ocean Park at your utmost time. You’ll never regret it to have a cool day like we had.

The Symphony evening show

Fast food chains and restaurants however are everywhere if ever you get a hungry tummy. We had our lunch at the North Park anyway and it's not bad at all. Souvenir shops also are offered if you may want something to take home for a remembrance of the place.

A True Story

2017-03-26T01:10:00.001+08:00

This is a true story.

A story which every time I remember becomes a nightmare already. A story that’s always haunting me. This is about my father who died four years ago where I spent my few days with him in the hospital, when he was suffering in the ICU. Not a good story isn’t it?

Somehow our story together is not real good. I remember that we had a fight nine months before it all happened where I got so mad that I left home staying at my sister’s house. Nothing was fixed even before I left the city to go back to my real life in Manila. I was mad. But I was also sad. But I remain strong thinking that I can handle myself even without him. I’m independent, anyway. That’s how I think. I am fine. But of course, I am not fine. I remain brave. Letting myself believe that I am hard as a rock and nothing can hit me to make me weak or small or vulnerable. Big thinking, huh?! But that kind of thinking now is as big of how I am missing him, always.

He had an accident when it was three in the morning. He had a seizure and fell hitting the floor that causes his forehead to crack and the main reason why he is sent to the ICU for cure. Now, the real nightmare starts here. Everything happened so fast. I went home. Everyone went home. But not like the old days when I am coming home I will meet him at the house waiting for my appearance, or sometimes he will wait for me at the road as I step down from that bus and carries all my luggage. I miss that so much. I remember when he used to say that I already have my own mineral water at the kitchen, that he cleaned the house because I am coming home, that he cooked delicious foods, and he will let me sleep in his air conditioned room so I could get enough sleep while he will just take the sofa. Then various questions being asked about how my life was, how my life is, and what are my plans. I remember when he used to asked me when I am getting married, and I used to answer him that marrying is not my priority that I will just spend my life living at the home for the agent when I get old. He’s mad with my answers. He said he will not be at peace if I will not get married even when he is already dead. Sounds weird, though.

I spend few days at the hospital, outside the ICU room. I found myself out there so desperate waiting for him to wake up. But I fail. My Mama and siblings wants me to let go of him now. But I refused of all to let him down. They want me to accept that he will no longer wake up, that we need to let him go at peace, to heaven. But I remain strong and keeping my faith to God that everything will still be fine and will go normal that way things were used to be. But I was wrong. I feel weak. I prayed.

style="display:block; text-align:center;"
data-ad-format="fluid"
data-ad-layout="in-article"
data-ad-client="ca-pub-0390647436369789"
data-ad-slot="3033551606">

The doctor talked to us. He will not make it. We need to accept it. But I really can’t do it. I’m still hoping. Hoping. Hoping. But they don’t want me to have that HOPE, that he can still make it in due time. They said, we need to let loose. Let go. But my head is saying NO! His condition is not simply as a fever or any serious disease that can be cure easily, even in due time. He had a crack in the forehead, seriously which brought him into comma causing hydrocephalus and much blood in the head. Kidney failure follows, then pneumonia. Complications! Yes, it’s very complicated. Complicated in some ways that I don’t even know how I am really feeling for that.

It’s going to be Christmas Eve. Yes, Christmas is coming that time and I am losing my father. What do you think would be the factual feeling for this time? I hate it so much. So much!

The sound of the ambulance is ringing as we took him home. A forty five minutes drive to our hometown. But the doctors told us that he will only live for two hours if all the machines will be taken out from him. We are all in a hurry. We wanted him to be home. Home for Christmas with us. The family is lucky indeed that he was still with us the next day but after one of his closest friends visited him, he left us.

The saddest Christmas I ever had in my entire life. That sucks! At Twelve O’clock in the morning while bells in the church are ringing, he was gone.

photo via google

Eldest child take over. That’s me. We brought him to the funeral homes with my brothers, bought him expensive coffin, we had the nicest clean white clothes and shoes during the funeral, white balloons are everywhere and flowers and candles, friends and relatives are coming over to grieve with us and here comes the hardest part of all, the true letting go. The real meaning of letting go.

********

I thought I was fine. I thought I was okay. I thought I already let go. I thought I already accepted it. But why is it all coming back in the head and the way it feels was just like it happened yesterday. Every time a one single scene comes back into my mind, I am crying. Every time I close my eyes I can still see clearly his face, the way he looks when he is suffering with those machines in his mouth and needles stuck on his hands, I always shed tears. I pity him. The first time I saw my papa like that, suffering on a hospital bed and he can’t do anything. He can’t even talk to me or even glanced at me. Every single moment I last had with him is haunting me. The time I was there beside his bed was the moment I once talked to him. I greeted him, kissed him. Saying and feeling sorry for all the things happened between us, and the not so easy thing to say for me is to promise him that I will get married in time, the only thing he always asked from me for he’s always telling me that he want to make sure that someone will take care of me and that I will be with someone when I grow old.

Those past 9 months of silence between us, no hi and hellos even from our phones but the only thing that makes me went home was when he told mama to let me go home for Christmas. Who would think it were his last days? Or who would think that it was his last wish? And who would think that it was our last Christmas together? Why so coincidence that our family is complete during that time? Was it God’s plan? Then God was so good to us. He makes us one to make us strong.

*****

There are times when things suddenly sink, memories of him and as I close my eyes I can hear sirens of the ambulance inside my head and it’s killing me. I can see the picture of us inside that car, me and my siblings crying and uttering our last words to our father. I can clearly see us and hear that sound which makes me cry, again and again. It’s even traumatic when I hear real sirens of the ambulance, then everything flashes back as if they are still real and tears are coming.

These memories are haunting me and still it’s hurting me. I’m thinking that maybe I still have unfinished business, or maybe It was not enough that I have showed loved to papa when he was still alive and maybe regrets? Or maybe I still have that eagerness to show how I loved him but I can never do that again. I’m always seeing him in my dreams. Good dreams. Happy dreams. He is smiling at me and sometimes he is talking to me. Sometimes when I wake up I am wishing that those dreams was real, that I can still turn back the time to be with him. Though memories of our fighting are not really good, that was us. On the other hand of that, I know he really loves me. But now, I can only love him in my mind, in my heart.

In exchange of him, was my son. I was known pregnant on the third day of his wake. Now the hugging and kissing for my daddy is given for my only boy.

Reincarnation?

This is me. Writing and crying, and these are my true stories.

Cool Point Private Pool - Thyrell's 2nd Birthday

2017-02-18T15:20:00.001+08:00

Now, let’s talk about the second birthday of my baby boy, Thyrell. J

It was another exciting day for all of us, another 12th day of the month of August of the year 2016. Though the celebrant doesn’t know much about that, but we the parents is almost busy as a bee preparing for that special day. We thought of just celebrating it at home, but eventually the simple planned celebration turned out into a pool party instead.

With Daddy and Mommy

We rented a private resort to accommodate everyone at the party, The Cool Point private pool at Dasmarinas, Cavite. I decorated the venue with my DIY party favors (which I actually learned from Pinterest), cooked yummy foods, and a sweet candy table for everyone. We also made our own DIY photobooth which I find it really amazing that was made by my husband’s sister and cousins. The party’s theme was “Cars” inspired by the Lightning Mcqueen theme ideas. It’s too simple to make since we could find a lot of stuffs of cars and easy DIYs to copy. I made the preparation for about two (2) weeks just to make sure everything and every detail I want to happen will be there. Daddy Christian also had the idea of having a personalized T-shirt for us, printed with “Cars” theme. And of course, the Cake! I personally designed the cake! :D We also had the "palayok" game. The kids had some real fun! All worth it for the birthday party of our baby boy!

The Cool point private resort however is a nice place to celebrate your special events, mostly if you really want some privacy around. You just need to pay for the whole rental and there you can use their amenities. The kitchen, the lounge, the pool, the court, and the rooms if you and your friends wants to stay for an overnight.

They have two swimming pools, one for the children pool and the adult pool. The basketball court is just a half court, but anyway not bad for you to play around the ball. The kitchen is nice and clean. You can cook your preferred foods there. They even have a free Wi-Fi for you to enjoy. Not bad for an 8K price (price may change.this is the price we payed during that time). And oh! the videoke machine was a blast for the whole party!

So if you happen to be in Cavite and looking for some place to have fun, check out on this and you may want to chill for a time on this place. This private pool is along Greenwoods Village Paliparan-1 Dasmarinas, Cavite. Or either contact them on their facebook account - https://www.facebook.com/coolpoint.privatepool/

In behalf of the success of Thyrell’s 2nd birthday celebration, I also want to credit Mayumi and my Mama in-law for cooking the foods. To Kenichi who made the awesome tarpaulin, to my sister in-law Kithet who helped us made the photobooth with Mayumi and Nelly, and of course to our best Daddy Christian, for making all these possible on the special day of our little boy. To all the friends who came and celebrated the day with us, Thank You!

Pixie Forest - Thyrell's 1st Birthday

2016-05-24T17:34:00.002+08:00

It’s going to be another year for Thyrell and yet I have not made this meme yet about his 1^st birthday ever. Well, I’m the busy mom here, and got a not so very nice internet connection, just bought a new hard disk for the laptop (which my hubby bought it for me) and that’s why I made this so so very late, lol.

Thyrell‘s (Mochi) first birthday was a real great fun. We celebrated it twice, at home and at the best venue we could ever find for him, at Pixie Forest in Festival Mall, Alabang. The celebration at home was just simple. We had it with the family (my in-laws) cooked some foods, had a birthday cake, and a toast of cheers for my baby boy.

Thyrell's cake celebrated at home

So here’s the highlight of the party, the grand celebration at Pixie Forest. It was quiet expensive but I could say that it was all worth it. We had 90 guests from family and friends; we had free five rides for the kids at the entertainment area of Pixie; Games for the kids; dancing time for the daddies; photo booth; official photographer for everyone; 200 balloons decorated around; the Pintados who amused my visitors with their awesome dance moves; and of course, the AVO catering services who served the yummy foods.

The party’s theme was Jungle Safari where I dressed up my little boy like a mini Anthropologist. Ohh my... he’s so cute with that outfit that makes everything perfect for his day! We also choose kids who are in their best costumes and gave them some reward just for an appreciation for their efforts.

Pixie forest is located at Festival Mall Alabang. They have in-house caterers which means, you cannot bring your own caterer. The photo booth, photographer, cakes and other add-ons to your party needs to be from their in-house provider. But if you insist to have it from your own you just need to pay for the corkage of everything which are not allowed and provided by their business. However, contract will be laid unto you upon paying for the whole amount. We also got freebies from them, Mochi got a white Skippy sling bag, a cake from Pixie, 30 invitations and 60 tokens to be given for the kids guests. The AVO catering also had a gift, the reindeer pillow who sings when you press the hand (though the song is for Christmas, lol). We also received gifts from the photo booth corner, free 60 key chains with Mochi’s picture.

It was a great fun, indeed! To a first time mom like me, oh I know that you wanna make the best out of everything too especially for your little man’s big day. Fortunately, all of the happiness, the fun and the financial statement won’t ever be possible without our daddy in the family (Christian) who insists of making the whole thing more remarkable and amazing for our only son. (Thanks dad! We love you!) And of course, to those people who loves us that much who sponsored for Mochi’s party and sends us special gifts for our cutie baby, Thank You! You know how much you’ve made us happy remembering and sharing your blessings to our family.

Tubigan Resort

2015-05-18T17:50:00.001+08:00

Another fine resort we've discovered in the simplest place of Cavite, the Tubigan Resort. It is located at Paliparan Cavite assuring its own beauty and awesome landscape around. The amenities is good from cottages to swimming pools, the clean restrooms, and the videoke's which every one loves during their unwinding time. They have two (2) swimming pools, the kiddie pool and the adult pool where you can enjoy the sprinkles of their fountains around. For sure, kids really love this!

This day is spent with my hubby Christian and my Mochi, and of course with my beautiful inlaws. It's a family day indeed where everyone had enjoyed the day swimming, eating and resting. But what I love the most in this place is the landscape made around the resort. So lovely where I want them too around my house when we have one! He he he... Not bad at all, so refreshing and cool!

My Mochi enjoyed the day the most. This is the second time he had his swimming day and I'm happy to say that he's no longer afraid of the water, and the coldness? hmm... not at all!

And Oh by the way! it's our Mochi's 9th month celebration too!

Our baby Thyrell turns 1 month and no one is ever more excited than us, the proud parents! We celebrate the day with so much fun as everyone gathered to party with us.

This is the first month with our baby, and daddy and I is looking forward for the days, the weeks, the months that may come along to see how our little bundle of joy grows.

Thanks my hubby Quick for coming and visiting us all the way from Manila to be with us. Such a special day for our little Thyrell.

McDo party

2015-04-08T00:21:00.000+08:00

The first McDo party attended by my little Mochi at Paranaque City. It was indeed a great party for Mochi where he enjoyed everything. The balloons, the mascots, the kids around and the happy ambience of the place. It was the 7th birthday party of a baby boy who happens to be the son of a friend of Mochi's daddy.

Kids party is always fun. I used to attend parties like this before but nothing's compare to the happiness I've felt when I brought my son to a kiddie party like this. I'm much more excited than anyone else , and of course daddy.

Now I'm wondering how Mochi's first birthday party is going to be like and how it's going to filled with so much fun!

Christening of Thyrell

2015-01-01T21:03:00.000+08:00

Baptizing is one of the significant modes of rites or practice to most Christians. It is a ceremony or experience into which a person is initiated or be given a name. It is a traditional practice, a faith tradition where it is also called christening. Catholics used to practice the infant baptism where water is poured on the head of an infant, but others also consider them in any forms of washing.

I myself is baptized in the name of the Catholic Christians, but I used to wonder how was my celebration back then with my parents and godparents around me. Were they excited to celebrate it with me? Did they wish something great for me? But oh for sure! They were happy to carry me then in their arms as they cuddled me with my long pink baby gown! Yes, I still have my baby gown when I was baptized. I saw them in my mama’s closet that I was so happy to see them and imagined myself as a baby wearing that cute pink gown. I’m so lucky then because my parents did gave me the best christening day ever, (as per story of my granny) Yes! You think I’m really lucky?!

In the long run of my 35 years of existence, now then I have my first born with me and it’s my turn to give him the best day of his christening as he enters the Christian world.

Thyrell’s christening was merely simple witnessed by us, his Godparents and our family & friends. It happened last December 20, 2014 in the church of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and held the reception at the Lavilla Hall of BUTC campus. The ceremonial and celebration was grand enough for us to be proud of as my son now became and baptized as a Christian. He was baptized in the name of Thyrell Christian Benedict.

Why the name so long? Well then here’s the meaning of it. Thyrell is the name from the famous movie series “The Game of Thrones” . “Christian” is his daddy’s name, and “Benedict” is from St.Benedict to whom I prayed to grant me a baby boy, and if that happens I promised him that I am going to go after his name and let my son have it as one of his given names. My prayer was all granted so there it goes! By the way, we gave him the nickname, Mochi which means a Japanese rice cake.

Witnessing my son’s day gave me a different feeling of excitement, a feeling of a mommy that no one can explain and that my hubby feels the same way too. We prepared everything for him with joyfulness to make everything perfect for him and to make it even more unforgettable for in some ways, my son will knew when he grows up how was it all and how it goes well during the day of his christening.

*On the other hand of the very well celebration, I and Christian would like to say Thank you, to all the people who gave their support and care, the unending love to our only son during his special day. To my family, to my in-laws, to all my good friends who were around to celebrate it with us, and to all the friends who are on the other side of the world who still have the courage to send their gifts for our baby despite of the distance we have. Thank you all for your thoughtfulness!

The Baby Shower and The birthday

2014-11-26T15:31:00.000+08:00

There's no other words that I want say except for, Thank you!

My better half indeed throw a party for me and my six months old baby inside. We celebrated my birthday and the baby shower together with some of our friends and family. Hence, June 7 of 2013 became a special day to us. Of course, this couldn't be possible without my husband whose so excited for our baby and for the things that may happen along with our future life. He prepared everything for the party, from the giveaways, the balloons, going to the grocery and cleaning up of our house. But the cooking? Oh! It was done by my good cook friend, Mhay and her husband. Yummy indeed!

The party was full of fun. We had card games too to entertain our Friends and whoever wins will get the price of a perfume. We laugh over jokes and stories and pictures to save the memories. My little boy inside me also received gifts and wishes for the special day. It was a bit tiring in the end, but of course, the happy times and the memorable party was all worth, priceless.

Thank you Chryz, Dad, my hubby and my luvvy! Baby and I loves you much.

Ternate Beach Resort - Cavite

2014-06-29T11:10:00.005+08:00

I’ve been into many beaches and all of them amazed me of how they are all made and created. Each of those beaches is unique and perfectly customized by man to enhance its beauty and to give a more or less ideal view to those who wants to unwind and enjoy the cool water on a perfect summer. I’m one of them of course, and I make sure that when summer heats I must at least go once to the beach to relax myself and make another adventure with the nature.

This very first day of the month of May 2014, I had the chance to visit the Ternate Beach Resort with my husbands’ family and relatives. The place is within the reach of Cavite but I find it far. However, after that long ride is a worth it experience for when you arrived to the resort, is the feeling of a trouble-free person. The water is so tempting to freshen up; the aqua rides are just great for you to enjoy like the banana boat, Jet Ski, kayak, and the aqua bike; the vicinity is accommodating to your needs and coconut trees are everywhere which adds a magnificent sight wherever you go. Cottages are available to those who want to stay overnight. Air conditioned rooms are also offered from standard to family rooms with their affordable rates. Music is everywhere and you can see that everyone is really enjoying and taking pictures for their keepsakes.

We captured some photos here too and I can say that these moments are worth keeping. And whatever or wherever you go this summer days, just enjoy it, feel it, and treasure it. For opportunity only comes once in our lives and I’ll tell you, there are no second chances. And what I do most when I have these chances? I just please it to make my vacation a real one and fulfilled vacation.

One Heart reaches the children of Quezon City

2014-06-03T17:26:00.001+08:00

We had another day of reaching out giving, loving, and sharing to the little children of Kasiyahan Commonwealth, Quezon City.

Being pregnant was never an issue to me to stop sharing and reaching out to the fortunate ones. Though it’s merely hard in my part, I still make a way to find ways on helping and making an effort to be with them and share something that’s meant for them. Clark, who is a good friend of mine, has a kind heart of sharing things for the children. He sends us a huge box full of toys and clothes for the kids from UAE. He is the sponsor of the day and my full thanks to him and his family for making an effort for this.

Christian and I however made it to share these things to the kids of Kasiyahan, Quezon City and with the help of the volunteers of St. Benedict Parish Church, the day of sharing was successful and made every little angels heart happy and smiling.

To Clark: Thank you so much to you and to your family for the kind heart. May you continue reaching out for the little ones who barely needs your love and care. More blessings!

Other toys and clothes were also shared to some children from the remote area of the village.

My Pregnancy

2014-05-31T07:27:00.000+08:00

The most awaited time has already come! Pregnancy. Yes, I am pregnant! For so long that I have waited for this moment has finally fulfilled. I and Quick was very happy to know that we are having a baby. Were both going to be mommy and daddy already and everything that’s happening and going through, is all first time.

Being pregnant is not a real joke. It’s not even a kind of game you need to drop when you’re already tired. Yet, a real experience of life you need to embrace even during between the ups and downs of living. My first trimester was not easy. These are the times when I had depressions because of my father’s death and I’ll tell you, I find it hard grieving because of holding up my emotions knowing that I need to stay calm because I am pregnant. But there are times that I can no longer seize it all, that I really need and I want to cry as long as I want; releasing my emotions when I am sad and when I misses him. To keep away from this, I avoid myself thinking of my papa. Not because I want to forget him but because I want to stay still and relax for my baby.

These are also the times when I had dust allergy. It occurs only at night and I barely cough all night long causing Quick to be disturbed from his sleep. I find him more caring because instead of getting mad, he stays awake with me and caresses my tummy to relax it. This makes me cry sometimes for its hurts me much when I exert too much effort in coughing. Medicines do help but it’s not relieving my entire sleep. My OB told me to have a rest and keep from doing the chores at home and because of this, Quick was the one doing the laundry, washing the dishes and sometimes cooking our meal. I find him so sweet that he could take care of me unconditionally showing lots of love for me and the baby aside from his busy days at work. He also never fails to remind me to drink my vitamins, monitors my check ups, and helps me feed with more information about pregnancy.

My second trimester was quiet an adjustment while my baby is already expanding inside of me. There were times when I shed tears because of the extraction of the womb. It hurts sometimes and all I need to do is to lie down, relax while Quick holds onto my tummy talking to our baby to stay cool for mommy is whipping into pain. I knew baby hears his daddy for every time it happens it eases me and even though it aches at midnight, I just need to grab Quick’s hand and put it over my tummy as he rubs it until pain is gone and fall into sleep again. (Seems baby always loves to feel daddy’s hand)

This was also the time we knew that we are going to have a baby boy. A wish granted to both of us for we both want a boy. My mama in law also wants a baby boy, and some of my siblings wish it too in exchange of my papa. Sounds funny but it’s cool.

Now, I am on t he 6^th month of my pregnancy. Seems well in the swing of things and happy especially when I knew what my baby is. An overwhelming happiness fills my heart and Quick as we are already preparing for the next three months and next his existence before us.

*Quick loves to takes photographs of me while being pregnant. He’s taking pictures of me every month to monitor my looks and the size of my tummy. Really lovely because even I’m asleep, he snatches a picture of my appealing belly.

Watches

2013-11-01T16:41:00.002+08:00

A watch is a typical timepiece usually worn around our wrist and you can barely see it from most people who loved to use it. Some timepiece are attached to chain and carried in a pocket, but these kinds of watches are common in the 17^th century where the first watch evolved. In the 15^th century, watches are spring powered clocks and were strictly mechanical, but we can see how technology works and its progress to make things possible. The mechanism used eventually to measure time was been replaced by use of quarts vibrations or known as the electronic pulses. Now, do you know that the first digital electronic watch was made and developed during the 1970?

Image from: google

Most watches were pocket watches before wristwatches come in style. Its design comes with covers and were carried in a pocket and is often attached to a watch chain or watch fob. However, during the 1900’s the wristwatch was generally known or called as Wrislet and was made for women. But do you know that during those times also, men who used to carry pocket watches were quoted as “sooner wear a skirt as wear a wristwatch”. hmmm… I don’t think so I can get the right logic for this or maybe just a tease to most men who carry watches and acts as finesse as most women do.

So, when did watches begin to be worn on wrist? During the World War 1, the soldiers in the battlefield start putting their watches to their wrist by cupped leather strap because they find the pocket watches so impractical or somewhat un-useful for them. Just then during the 1800s when Girard-Perregaux was believed that German Imperial Navy was then able to have the same design of wristwatches where they used it for firing artillery or while synchronizing naval attacks.

Wristwatches are made for our timekeeping, and timekeeping is one of the most important things in a man’s life. I myself used to wear one in my everyday lifestyle especially when I need to go out of the house or wherever my feet bring me. This gives me an accurate detail of my day’s time. As far as I can remember, I start using wristwatch when I was six (6). My papa used to give me one and often told me to wear it constantly because I need to be aware of the time (though I don’t know much how to read it by digital). He will give me another new watch whenever it stopped from movements, and there you go, until I reach my college days, he’s still the one who will buy me new pieces.

There are expensive wristwatches, but there are also cheap and affordable watches that you can buy around. Some collectible watches however are valued more for their workmanship and its aesthetic design than for its simple timekeeping. But as you can see nowadays, the modern designs of most wristwatches are already made and provided with different features and functions such as using GPS technology, heart-rate monitoring, timers, chronographs and alarm functions. It can even display time, day, date, month and year aside from its simple task by, timekeeping.

I have a few collections here of my wristwatch, treasured and loved the most.

Bicol Resort - Villa Azon

2013-09-30T00:58:00.000+08:00

It’s funny indeed to think that I added another year to my age on the month of June. But hmmm… it’s not a problem anyway; it doesn’t show on the face, hahah!

I celebrated my birthday twice on a different Resort. The first day was with my family and the next day was with friends. The Resorts was quiet cool and I’m sure everyone had fun.

I can’t remember when was the last time I had celebrated my birthday with my family, so when I get this chance to be with them on that special day I’d really think of giving it a blast to make every moment an unforgettable one.

The spree with the family happened in Villa Azon Resort. This place is located in Matagbac Tabaco City, Albay which is already considered as one of the best resort in the City of Love. It is a well developed zone having three swimming pools including the children’s pool. Cottages come in different styles and rates. They also have a function hall where a big event can be celebrated for a massive number of visitors. If you feel like singing, then you can make it happen for they own a videoke machine where you can sing out loud. The resort also has good rooms for accommodation where you can stay by the night or you feel like staying for days or weeks on their friendly rates.

This is a real perfect place for everyone to spend a day for relaxing and creating moments with families, friends and special someone. Actually, this is my family’s favourite place of loosening up from a busy day and when they feel just like to sit back and unwind, you can find them here. Their hideaway, hahah!

So, if you happen to visit the City of Love don’t you forget to drop by at Villa Azon. Grab a time to experience a different leisure of life.
