We will Never Say Goodbye

We started as textmates then lovers in a long distance relationship. After the first year of the relationship, that was the time we get to meet each other "personally". However, that time lasted only for a week. We were separated again by the sea. After another year, he moved near in my place, but still in a different province. That was the happiest moment of our so called, "love life". However, there was this event that happened that will make us be away from each other again. I want to blame myself for what will happen but I think I did the right decision. It is hard to personally let go of the person you love but letting go is part of loving. We are letting go of each other not BREAKING UP. We will just live like the way we used to live before. No dates and no "gala" with friends.

We are in a 5 year old relationship. I am secured enough to let him leave and I love him so much that I don't want to sacrifice him just for his presence.

Today would be our last date for the mean time. I will definitely miss him but we have to make right decisions in life. We have to talk about things. We have to have mutual decisions. I also believe that if we hold on, the relationship will be secured and safe. We did it before, when we were not that in-love and intimate yet, when we didn't know each other at all. So now, I know that we will surpass this last trial and I know that God has reasons for this.

It's been Years

It's been years since I last updated. I'm so sorry readers. I know you'll understand.

My week was very tiring. It is like working without pay. However, hearing the students greet me, "Good Morning Ms. Liza, we're glad to see you, Mabuhay!", "Hi Ma'am", "Ma'am, will you teach us today" or even "Ma'am Liza" pays the hard work very well.

I am loving the field. I admit it is really tiring and it is selfish enough to give me a social life but I am happy with the profession I am in because this is really what I want. I can't stop myself dreaming of applying in a private school this December nor stop myself dreaming of working as a teacher or in any related profession.

I am learning a lot. I got the chance to practice my English without being intimidated. I am learning to improve my Patience and classroom management skills. I am learning grammar and literature because of the students. Because of this, I came to realize that learning is also present in teaching. I learn from my students and my students learn from me.

I am preparing my lesson plan for the Wednesday observation. I hope I'll do well, as well as my lovely friends.

Anyway, around the area, we found these dogs who are working for their "parents/ guardians". They are cute and smart. I can't stop myself from saying to the owner, "Manong, aalagaan niyo sila ha?" but I heard nothing from the owner.

We also have a new baby in the house. :) Puppy Cotton. :) So cute right?

What else to share? I don't have class today because of Typhoon Santi. Waaah?! Signal no. 3 in Cavite, Laguna and Metro Manila is really frightening. I hope everybody will be safe.

My Yesterday Story

Yesterday is such an EXPERIENTIAL day for me. Define experiential. Experiential as used in the context is a day where I experienced the things I haven't done before, MY FIRSTS.

Ok, to start of, I am proud that I finally did ride a taxi ALONE. It is only from Robinson's Manila to a high school in United Nations. I learned from other people that you have to call someone and make Manong taxi driver hear that you are dictating his plate number and taxi name to someone on line. :) - and tadaaaah, I did that!

It is also my first time to leave Lloyd in a place that he isn't familiar with and make him do the walking from Robinson's Place Manila to Pedro Gil LRT station to United Nations LRT station. That is love.

Yesterday is also the day when I realized that school is over my love life in my priorities, that my professor is over Lloyd in my list of people I obey. Whatever! They are holding the pen.

That is it. BTW, I found this book in a book store and I think it is pretty much interesting because I am familiar with the book, The Secret and now the secrets unlocked in THE SECRET BOOK is being unlocked in the book THE SECRET OF THE SECRET. Fantastic! I remember the lines, your wish is my command.

Had fun with Mr. Special yesterday. But won't post pictures of us together anymore. Just go to my facebook account for some seal and security. :)

Skin Care

Lately, I felt something rough on my skin and I think it is what they call "chicken skin". I rarely or totally do not use, to be honest, lotion or body moisturizer because I find it sticky. However, seeing my skin uber damaged made me do the move. - thanks to my sister Joni for convincing me to look good.

I tried using Victoria Secret's Love Spell scented lotion. It is good enough to moisturize my skin but I just don't like the flowery smell. That is why I traded it with my mom's Hand and Body Moisturizer, Musk by Alyssa and Ashely. I am really loving it that I can't stop myself from blogging about it.

It is very effective on my dry prone skin. I am so glad that the smell isn't that loud, it smells fresh and clean.

What is a musk?

Musk is a substance found in the gland of a male musk deer, a primitive or a true deer. The gland is found between its stomach and genitals. That is why, the name originated from the Sanskrit name muska, meaning testicle. It is one of the most expensive animal product in the world. It is being used in perfumery. However, now they adopted the use of synthetic musk or white musk. However, they found out that two of the three major classes of synthetic musk contains carcinogenic properties. Ok, Typhoon Ondoy brought unity among Filipinos. That is totally unquestionable. But after the typhoon, what will happen? Are we going to be unified again to destroy our dear mother Earth?

I remember the PETA play, Noli at Fili Dos Mil. The story is about a town who suffered from flash flood causing the town's men to die. Illegal logging caused the flash flood in the story. Logs, pieces of woods and stumps were washed down from the mountains.

Let us all consider the reason why disasters like flash floods and landslide exist is us, people. Imagine what is happening now in Manila Bay. The waves are carrying tons of garbages back to the sea shore, as if they are sending our wastes back to clean itself.

Now, what shall we do? I believe, after packing the goods and sending them to those who are in need, we should volunteer again to prevent such disasters. WE have to clean Philippines, WE have to plant more trees, WE should not cut trees unless WE change them, WE have to teach our people how to take care of the environment. - So elementary right? But why aren't we acting on it? I won't say that I am not destroying mother earth, all of us do.

The calamities we've been through should have thought us lessons. But these lessons won't be lessons if we won't put it to practice.

New Typhoon, PEPENG, PARMA (International Name) is spotted East of Mindanao. According to Nathaniel Cruz, PAG-ASA it is similar to that of Typhoon Milenyo. It is expected to hit Northern Luzon this time. Let us all pray for everyone's safety.

It has been a long long long time since I saved some money to buy something for myself. Today is the end of that very long time.

I went to the mall to send some G-Cash on my phone (sim). I passed by a rack full of "on sale" bags. The bags cost 1,000 + since it is being sold in the department store. I stoped to look at them and saw that there is a big discount. I was able to buy this white tote lady bag for only P380.00, if it wasn't on sale, it will cost me P1,149.00 to own the bag!

The bag is just enough for my daily things and for my age. I want it simple this time so that I can still wear some accessories like headbands without being over accessorized.

During our 1 week vacation from the stressful Finals, I bought one bag of RICOA Flat Tops. Can anyone tell me that one piece is enough. :)

I know I said that I am to stop eating junk foods. But could you please not include flat tops on the list? I promise I'll drink lots of water after. I just need something sweet to revive my lost energy. I need a special treat after the hard work last trimester. -> too defensive.

Anyway, why is chocolate known to be a comfort food? Chocolate is known to be a comfort food because it conatins methylxanthines which provides instant energy and creates a feeling of satisfaction. However, theombromine that is found in chocolates is toxic to dogs and cats. Just keep your chocolates to yourselves guys. :) This theombromine is responsible for the mood-elevating effect of the chocolates naman. The phenetylamine content on the other hand is described as love chemical. Now we know that our moods are affected when we eat chocolates because chocolates have substances which affects our body chemistry. :) sources 1 and 2 and 3.

Lately, I realized that I have to stop eating Junk Foods or foods with preservatives. I realized that I should start being health conscious by eating foods rich in Vitamins and Minerals. I started by drinking Milk.

Milk can reduce our risk of having health problems like skin cancer and breast cancer, diabetes and heart diseasees. It is rich in calcium that is why it can also lessen our chance of getting osteoporosis as we aged.

I am not depriving myself of eating my favorite foods because I still do.

The Dollar

We, the fourth year BSE students had our culminating activity for our subject, Drama and Theatre Arts Including Radio and TV Scriptwriting. The activity is a play presentation of the one act play, THE DOLLAR. The Dollar is about the casts of Hamlet who were lost in the forest. They had nothing but the commedian's whiskey. While dancing, they saw a dollar, which caused a commotion. However, the villain was able to grab it from the others. The commedian declared a revolution to get the dollar from the villain. A stranger passed by the forest and the casts took the opportunity to ask for a change of pennies, dimes and nickels to get their share. The stranger tricked them and got the dollar for them. The casts ended up with nothing again.

I am graduating soon! The proof is this evaluation form from the Registrar's Office. I only have 2 more subjects to go, Practice Teaching and Special Topics and I am off the university! Yahoo!

Now, the only thing that I am worried about is how would I be as a teacher? Will I be pretty, will I be rich? Quesera sera.

I am still nervous about the up coming graduation and the Licensure Examination for Teachers. After I pass all of them, I am sure that I will be better personally and professionally. I realize that sometimes, we need challenges to be able to appreciate the value of what we've been through. :) Now, I am excited and nervous. Please pray for me and my friends that we will be able to surpass the most important challenges that we will be in to.

I am loving facebook! I just love the applications, particularly the games. Actually, I am getting addicted with it. :)

I just changed my restaurant city layout. This layout gave me 50 popularity points even if my employees' health are under 80% and even if I don't have available toilets. I want to reach level 27! I want a bigger restaurant. :)

I am graduating this December, remember? :)

My First God Son

I just arrived from the church. Today is the baptism day of my first God daughter, Kyle, Kuya Bernard's son. :)

I don't know how to carry a two month old baby that is why in this photo, Kyle started to cry because of discomfort. :)

Welcome to the Christian World, baby boy!

I wonder what scent of perfume he will love when he grew up. I love perfumes that smell like baby powder. The smell is so refreshing as if you just finish your bath. I hate perfumes that smell so sweet. It makes me feel that I smell awful. :) Ones my perfume bottle is empty, I will go to the nearest perfume store. If there are perfumes for babies, I will buy him too. He is my first God Son, I believe he deserves to be spoiled. :) lol

Mom bought me a new bed last week. The fact that it is queen sized made me excited. Now, I was surprised to see that I also have a side table. Lucky Me!!! Now, I feel like living in a hote. Wi-fi snack and a comfy bed. This is life! Thanks Mom!
