My Creative Time "Stamp of the Month" ~ I'm Lucky!

Hi everyone! Do you ever have one of those days when you have so much to do and if one thing goes hay wire the whole day is out of sinc? Of course you do, I know I'm not the only one! As much as think I am! lol! Well that's how my day was yesterday! However with all my mishaps, I was still able to get a card done for My Creative Time's Stamp of the Month! Priorities, right! :)

For this month's "Stamp of the Month" Emma ask us to make a CARD using any stamp from her first 3 editions! That means I was able to look through and choose a stamp from 12 different sets! Oh my goodness the ideas were flying!!! In honor of the next holiday, I decided to use "I Believe in Leprechauns" set. I wanted this card to be for a friend for any time of the year though!

Hippity Hoppity Bunny Card!

Hi paperlovers! How's your week going? I hope it's perfect! Mine has been a little stressed! I mentioned a few weeks ago that I would be having shoulder surgery. Well the date is fast approaching...and yes, I'm totally FREAKING out! However I do have good news, while I'm out recovering, I have two ~ three Guest Designers planned for each week. Yep, that's right I won't be able to craft for awhile :( I know that you will show my guest designers the "blog love" they deserve!

Today I wanted to share a fun little bunny card with you!

I used Glossy Accents on the eyes and eggs! You can't tell but in person it adds so much!

Honestly they always amaze me, and I'm thrilled that I get to be on the same team with them.

For my project, I decided to make another card...sorry I'm in a card phase right now :) I'm sure this will soon pass! lol

It's very light, but I stamped the pink scrap with the Sping Chicken & Flower background stamp. Then I stamped the "hello spring" with Versa

I popped out the bunny part, then embossed the edges in gold, place it on a pop dot for added depth.

I did the samething for the circles and rosettes!

My Creative Time's February Sneak Peak ~ Day 3!

Hi everyone and welcome to My Creative Time's February Sneak Peek ~ Day 3! Hasn't everyone's projects been amazing so far! I know that I'm always excited to see what my other DT mates have created! If you haven't heard...Emma has come out with the CUTEST Spring stamps! There are three sets of stamps and one includes a layer die. The sets include images, sentiments, background and Emma's signature "all around" circle stamps with interchangable centers! Just way too cute!!! One more thing, we will be having our Design Team Blog Hop tomorrow instead of Friday, which means you will be able to purchase any or all the new sets at that time! :)

For today's project I made a sweet little spring card! I hope you like it!

I stamped the banner with the Chicken Wire background stamp. Then I stamped the silhoutte bunnies, cut them out and inked the edges with Old Paper by Tim Holtz, to soften it up a bit. I also added a tulle bow behind the sentiment and a few rhinestones on the little flowers. I'm sorry but colors just looks so much better in person! I promise :)

My Creative Time's February Sneak Peek ~ Day 2!

Hello my paper love friends! Happy Valentine's Day, sorry I don't have "heart" project! I'm kind of done with hearts! lol! Did you hear that My Creative Time's February is having sneak peeks this week? Oh my goodness they are so CUTE! They are a mix of images, sentiments and a layering die. Oh and of course My Creative Time's signature "all around" circle stamp to fit the Scallop & Stitched Circle dies!

For today's project I decided to go way out on a limb and make a bookmark! You've probably realized that I didn't use my cricut yesterday...and I'm not using it again today! Let's just keep this our little secret...I don't want him to get jealous! hehehe I haven't given him up, I just wanted to switch things up a bit! :)

I know it's little hard to see, but it's really cute in person!

This is a layering die, I only used one of the dies. I cut it 4 time then scored in the middle and used Zip Dry glue.

I used the Teeny Tag layer die for the tag and added bead to the ends.

Welcome to My Creative Time February's Release Sneek Peak ~ Day 1! I'm so excited to share with you Emma's newest stamp release this week! This set Happy Hunting is just adorable! It has images to color, sentiments, and of course Emma's signature "All Around" stamp to fit her Scallop & Stitched Circle Die! There are alot of FAB things happening at My Creative Time...oops... I may have said too much! :) Before I blab everything, let me get on to my card!

One of my good friends hit the motherload the other day at one of her favorite craft stores. They were clearing out all their Graphic 45 paper to make room for their new lines coming in! Are you ready for this...they were selling it for 10 cents a sheet double sided! Can believe it? So she bought all of it and shared it with me! So of course I had to use it today!

EAD Designs Color Challenge~Call Me!

Good Morning! Welcome to EAD Design's Color Challenge! Today's challenge is all about the black and white! I have to say this is one of my favorite color combos, I wear it frequently! However, I usually have a pop of color with it, so I had a hard time not adding a pop on my card! lol

For today's card I used my favorite houndstooth from Teresa Collins, how could I not! :)

I first used My Creative Time XL Label die to cut out EAD's Vinyl stickerz sheet. It cut it out beautifully! I then cut a plain white sheet with the label die. Once cut out I placed the cut sticker on the cut label. Now here's the best part...it didn't match the first time I tried to stick them together. But that's ok, because with EAD vinyl stickerz you can carefully pull them off the paper and try again. Second try was perfect!!! You just couldn't do that will all stickers!

The other awesome thing about the newsprint vinyl sheet is, that it's printed on clear vinyl. This way a color would show through!

MCT ~ Monday Madness...Imagine That! Get Well

Happy Monday and Welcome to My Creative Time ~ Monday Madness...Imagine That! I hope that you had an awesome weekend! Mine was filled with cleaning, laundry and a little crafting! Silly as it sounds, it's really satisfying for me to have my home in order!! I 'm so excited because I'm using my Imagine. Now before you ask "why can't you use it anyother time?" I can, I'm just not that comfortable with it.

For today's project, Emma has asked me to use her "Pain Pain Go Away" stamp set along with the Imagine!

I printed and cut the label with the Imagine. Then I printed squares for the flowers and leaves then ran it though my Expression to cut them out. Now, I know that you can use the Expression carts in the Imagine, however I use my Gypsy for everything. So it was WAY easier for me to do it this way.

After cutting the flowers, I inked the edges with pink ink. The leaves were inked with "old paper" ink. I also added a little stick pin.

For this week's hop I decided to showcase something completely different.

My daughter usually has Acrylic nails and has decided to go natural. Now part of getting your nails done at a salon, is getting the art work. So I decided to surprise her with EAD's mustache nail rub-ons! She loves them!

I use "shellac" which requires a UV light to dry. It didn't even phase the vinyl at all!

I'm Back From CHA!

Hi Everyone! I hope your week is wonderful so far! Mine has been...how could it not...I've been at CHA! This was my first time at CHA, I have to say that I had the best time! I'm sure that the company I was with has a bit to do with that! Emma, Katie, Emma aka The Shipping Department, and I had a blast! Definately next year we need to do more days! It was very overwhelming, visually and the amount of booths! I know that we didn't see them all! :( Also you want to know how dumb I was? I never took pictures of whole booths! Some of them were AMAZING!

My Creative Time ~ 3-D Wednesday! Speedy Recovery

Hello, it's 3-D Wednesday at My Creative Time! If you don't know what that is, it simply means we can make anything but a card or a layout! Emma, asked me to use her Many Greetings stamp set, so I decided to make a get well post it note book. However for a bit of a twist, I stamped a tic tac toe board inside!

I placed the rocket on a wobble!!!

I also used Swiss Dots Cuttlebug and stickles on Saturn!

I only stamped the tic tac toe board on a few pages just to give the person receiving it an idea!

Announcing My Winner For MCT and More!!!

Hello and happy Tuesday! I don't have a project for you today, but hold on, don't click off yet. I do have a couple of things you might be interested in! :)

First of all I want to let you know that at the end of February I will be having shoulder surgery. And during that time I will not be able to craft for 6 to 8 weeks! :( Now I'm not telling you so you feel sorry for me, I'm telling you because during that time I would love for some of you to be a guest designer on my blog! However I decided to look it up, this is what Wikipedia said: Keep Calm and Carry On was a poster produced by the British government in 1939 during the beginning of the Second World War, intended to raise the morale of the British public in the event of invasion.

So when I said I wanted it to look old and from another country, I wasn't so wrong after all! hehehe

My Creative Time January Sneak Peek ~ Day 4!

Hi! Welcome to My Creative Time January Release Sneak Peek ~ Day 4! Can you believe that todaydis the last day of the sneaks? Starting tomorrow you will be able to purchase any of the stamps and dies! Whoo Hoo! If you didn't get a chance to see yesterday's project use the Bubblegum Treat Box die, that's ok I'm doing another take on it!

I thought these would make cute gifts for some of my "little friends"! They would also make darling party favors for any occassion! That's the fabulous thing about this die, you can dress it up or down for the event...kind of like the "little black dress"!

This die is the perfect size, it's fits all of your 6x6 paper pads!

I use EAD Designs Stickerz and a Teeny Tag Greetings stamp to embellish each box!
