How to hide, remove or disable and restore Blogger navbar

Sorry for the long delay. I have not been able to update my blog frequently anymore as I have lots and lots and lots of freaking school stuffs to take care of. (You will DO know what I am talking about IF you keep up-to-date to this blog. So be sure to come back for more updates^^) Anyway, so here I am again posting great stuffs on my great blog for my GREAT audiences like YOU~ XD Muakssss.....

OK! During those few days of delays, I discovered an interesting knowledge specially for all bloggers on Blogspot from a website (not discovery channel FYI) that we, bloggers DO can remove our irritating navigation bar from our blog page so that that navbar will not spoil our whole blog's image. BUT.... the bad news is..... [drumroll.....]

the navbar isn't removed permanently but when we hover our mouse over the top, the navbar will reappear again. XD WOW! Amazing, isn't it?

FOR MORE INFORMATION, please do not hesitate to try it out on my blog. HOW? You see, when you first log into this page, you will notice that my Navbar is missing!!! (as shown in the picture below)

BUT if you move your mouse to the top of the page, the navbar reappear again, MAGIC!!! XD

Ha! Now your mind is filled with question marks. Don't worry. LjOCH is here to the rescue! The following steps should get you started on a journey without "navbar" to guide you......

Step 1) Go to your blog's homepage. Click on 'DESIGN'........

Step 2) After clicking 'DESIGN', you will be directed to this page as shown below.

**Please back up your precious blog's template before you follow these steps to prevent any loss.

Then, click on 'TEMPLATE' --------> 'Edit HTML'. (keep scrolling......)

Step 3) Click on 'Expand Widget Templates', press Ctrl F and look for 'BODY{'

First day of school 2012.....

HI there! (This shall be my first "picture-less" post for the year 2012^^)

How are you? How was your holiday? good? bad? sucks? boring? hilarious? weird? funny? stupid? meaningful? fun? silly? etc...... mind to share with me in the comment below?? XD

Some people may (I say MAY) think that I am a weird weird person because the first day of school is suppose to be on the 4th of January 2012!! Right? But as you can see from my post title, you will notice that I wrote today, which is the 9th of January, my first day of school. Let me tell you why without you having your brain cracked open from its socket.

Before I explain why, let me briefly tell you my life journey from the first day of school till the "first day" of school! (4/1 - 9/1):

On the first day of school (4/1), which is my first time waking up so early in the morning to go to school in my secondary life. I brushed my teeth, took a bath, change my clothings and did my other usual boring stuffs. Then I was ready for school. When I reached my school gate, a friend of mine told me that I was in the same group as him. I was so puzzled as I do not really know what in the world is he talking about. So I went to the school hall to check things up and found out everything that I need to do.

For your information, all form 4's are forced (yup, sort of) to attend a three day orientation held by my school in my school hall. For the first day, the teacher forced us to sing our national anthem Negaraku and also my beloved school song for more than FIVE times!! Wow! That is too much! Then the teacher asked us to prepare MYR 1 to pay for our temporary name tag and also our photostated IC and PMR slip. I was so shocked because I didn't prepare all those stuffs. Lucky me that she said that we can hand them in on 6th January! Whew! That was really a close call.

Ok! For the next day, unfortunate things happened. I woke up at 6am, which is considered late for me because I usually wake up 5.30am to get ready for school. So I hurried, got ready and off to school. The next thing is, it was FLOODED and this makes me even later to reach school! Gah! I was all wet too from the heavy rain pour. After going home from school, I heard that an upper form 6 girl from a school accidently fell into the drain and was swept away by a strong current. A kind-hearted man so her and risk his life jumping into the drain too to save that girl. But, he was not a good-swimmer and was swept away too. haiz....

Oh ya! I forgot to mention that I forgot to bring the photostated documents to school on 5/1 but I remembered to bring them to school on 6/1! So all in all, I didn't get scolded yet in the year 2012! The teacher announced everyone's class on that day too and I was told that I am put into 4 Science 1. What the... I was thinking to myself all the while: did I hear wrongly? Was it a dream? hhhhmmmmm.... THAT WAS SO WEIRD! How did I ever get into 4 Science 1? Even a friend of mine got Straight A's in PMR is put into 4 Science 2! Yes! I believe that everything happens for a reason but WHY! Why put me into a class full of stress? I pray and pray and pray every night asking God for the reason but He just doesn't want to answer this important question of mine! Gah! Never mind... I shall just let everything into God's hand and I believe that God eventually tell me the answer one day! Yeah! "I can do ALL THINGS through CHRIST who strengthens me!" Hallelujah!

7/1 ---> 8/1 (Saturday to Sunday): NOTHING special happened.

So here I am again. 9 of January 2012 - the disaster year! haha.... just kidding^^ WAit!! Do you know that IF you look at it deeper, you will notice that it's true! anyway, as I was saying, I consider today as my first day of school for the year 2012 because I just officially started my school lessons today as I attended a three-day orientation in the school hall without studying. Last not but not least, today I have to carry all my form 4 textbooks that are all together 25 of them from the KHB lab to my classroom. Wow! Is my school trying to train all students' muscle for the upcoming Olympic? It's really heavy do you know that? GAH!

Google New Year eve PARTY^^

Hello folks,

Today is a great GREAT day for everyone especially all new-born babies!! Rise and shine and let's go to church to praise and worship our heavenly Father and also our personal Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ this great morning! Let's thank Him for giving us this fine new day; Let's give Him thanks for this new year 2012 where we can live a brand new life; Let's just thank Him for EVERYTHING, no matter rain or shine! Yeah! Hallelujah!

Are you glad that new year's day for 2012 is on Sunday? As for me, I am over excited and am filled with joy and love now! Muahahahahahahahaaa....... I just love everyday! I love my simple life. I love God~ XD

Last night was a noisy and sleepy night for me (and maybe for you too) with all the fireworks and I believe that everyone (most of us) stay awake to countdown with our family and friends till this new year 2012! But I counted down till new year all alone in my cosy bedroom. So sad~ :'( Anyway, I am so thankful to everyone for sending me new year wishes, cards, and lots more through all sorts of media like Facebook, text messages, Google Plus and so on..... I am so touched by all these wishes! HAPPY BLESSED NEW YEAR 2012 to you too^^

Hey! I just realised that this is my first post for this first day of the year 2012! haha..... FYI, if you happened to subscribe to read the Borneo Post or any other newspaper in town, you will notice that there are many different types of big companies wishing the public a Happy New Year in the newspaper column. Some are HUGE, some are just the medium size and some are little-tiny-small ones. AWESOME~~~~

As the year 2011 comes to an end, I would like to make my annual resolution and share it with everyone here:

Read my Bible more often and have a stronger relationship with God mentally and spiritually.
Learn to love my enemies (which is so so difficult but I'll try my best)
Be a loving Christian to everyone, family, friends, relatives.... (including you^^)
Become a better pianist and also of course a basic guitarist.
Be thankful to God for everything He has given and done for me^^

School Re-open 2012

Christmas has come and is gone 2 days ago.... time flies when we are having FUN! Agree? So not long school will re-open soon! Muahahahahaaaa..... I'm so happy now! I'm kind of in the mood for busy school days! Yeah! But I will surely miss the time when I was so free that I do not know what to do. haiz..... life is a journey, a long long journey that has no end. :'(

To all my dear faithful readers,

Since it's already 27th of December 2011 and school is reopening next week (OR next year 2012 - the disaster year [TOUCH WOOD!!!] ) on the 4th of January 2012, I am so sorry to inform you that I will not be able to update my blog that frequently like the time I had after my PMR because I believe that next year will be a super duper awesome-ly freaking busy year for me.

But please do not worry as I will never ever abundant my blog just like that so I promise to all of you that I will update this journey of mine once in a while as everyone knows that life is a journey that has NO END! And please do not leave me behind! I will appreciate it a lot if you can come back once in a while too for updates. Thank you so much in advanced^^

For your information, yesterday was my grandma's birthday so I went to her birthday dinner at a restaurant last night with my family and relative and I ate till my stomach almost burst! The food served there is delicious!! I WANT MORE!!! haha.... So that means every year after Jesus' birthday is my grandma's birthday! Wow! How easy to remember. And as for me..... WAIT!!! before I announce my birth date, do you really want to know? If you would NOT want to know then please just close one eye and continue to scroll down the page...... just kidding^^ My birthday is on the [drumroll.....] sorry^^ it's a SECRET! Muahahahahaaa.... you got trolled~ XD

Today is the 24th of December in the year 2011 ! That means today is finally Christmas eve! Hohoho! Merry Christmas eve, everyone! In the last post, I shared with everyone about the Google hottest trick that is "Let It Snow!" Have you tried it? CNY songs on Christmas??

Every year during Christmas time, I would love to beg my parents to go to all sorts of different shopping mall or any shops around town and then we will go window shopping. Yeah! XD This is because all these malls and shops will be filled with many Christmas decorations, Christmas carol, snowman, santa claus, reindeer, jingle bells and maybe some with loud cheerful Christmas songs! Yeah! I just love Christmas! Christmas is filled with love, peace, joy and happiness! Hallelujah! ^^

Anyway, what I really wanted to tell you is, for next year, Chinese New Year is just one month after Christmas and this gives all the mall's owner a big headache as to choose whether to give promotions or sale for which festival. Some may choose to give for all three (that is Christmas, Chinese New Year and also New Year 2012), some may choose Chinese New Year only or some may choose Christmas only (not many choose Christmas only) :'(

Unfortunately, most shopping mall chose to celebrate all three of them. I am not saying that this is not good but what I am trying to say is that most of them don't play those cheerful Christmas songs in the shopping mall or shops but instead they play all those noisy but lively Chinese New Year songs..... (NO OFFENCE!). I love all types of songs from Chinese songs, to English song, from Korean to Japanese songs or maybe even Malay songs!

But, do they know that when they play Chinese New Year songs near Christmas time is a very bad and disrespectful manner? This is because Christmas is Christmas but why play Chinese New Year songs? The most funny part is, they have Christmas decorations put up all around the mall but Chinese New Year songs playing from the speaker! Don't you think it's weird too? Don't they know that they are ruining the Christmas spirit? Yes! If you want to play Chinese New Year songs, why not wait until AFTER Christmas then play CNY songs? Gah!

Sometimes I feel like........ (don't know what to say)

Haha..... For your information, the PMR results came out yesterday morning at around 10am and all PMR Candidate are supposed to go to their respective schools to obtain their PMR result slip. So when I reach school to obtain mine too, the whole school was filled with a mixture of joy and the feeling of nervousness! And when I got mine, I was a bit disappointed but I am still thankful that God gave me the chance to achieve 7A's 1B...... My actual target was Straight A's that means 8A's but I do believe that everything happens for a reason so here I am praising and thanking God for this wonderful result that I never had before!

And for now, instead of worrying about my PMR results, I am starting to worry now on what extra subjects should I take next year for my SPM 2013...... I actually wanted to take Account and Bible Knowledge but for now, the devils keep telling me NOT to take Bible Knowledge as it will spoil my SPM result slip. After many consideration and also approval from my parents, I have decided not to take Bible Knowledge in SPM. (You may think that the devils won now but you are WRONG!) After I finished school and gone to university, I promise that I will go for Bible study overseas to upgrade my knowledge about bible. I may even decide to go for training to be a priest so that I can serve God forever! (Muaahahahaaa.... good always triumph over evil! =P)

Ok. That is all for now. I would like to congratulate all Straight A's PMR Candidates 2011 and for those who got not-so-good results, please do not give up and I believe that we all can do it for SPM if we just work hard, don't be lazy by slouching everywhere and most importantly always have faith in God no matter what situation you are in. Remember that God answers prayers! May God bless everyone with joy, peace, love and happiness this Christmas!

PMR result 2011 !!! XD

Hey! Today is a wonderful day, isn't it? but.... according to Portal Rasmi Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia - Pemberitahuan, this coming Thursday (22/12) will be a very very SPECIAL day for all PMR Candidates 2011!! Why? Is it a public holiday? Chinese New Year? CHRISTmas? Deepavali? Wesak? Or what?! oh.... ALL PMR Candidates will be receiving their PMR result slip this coming Thursday and I believe that some will be very nervous to know, some excited but some just don't have any feeling about this at all! :'(

haiz.... as for me, I, as a PMR Candidate too, I am a little bit nervous plus excited! Whew! This seems to be a lot of burden for me! but..... I know and I believe that God will carry all my burden for me through my prayers. As the bible has said in Romans 8:28: "For everything works for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose". I also believe that "I can do all things through my personal Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13. Yeah! Hallelujah! Praise be to God! XD

Calon boleh mendapatkan keputusan mereka daripada sekolah masing-masing selepas jam 10.00 pagi pada hari yang sama.

Untuk makluman, peperiksaan bertulis PMR 2011 telah berlangsung pada 4, 5, 6, 10 dan 11 Oktober 2011. Seramai 481,292orang calon telah menduduki PMR pada tahun ini di 3,521 pusat peperiksaan di seluruh negara.

Mulai tahun ini juga Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia memperkenalkan perkhidmatan semakan keputusan PMR melalui mySMS 15888. Perkhidmatan ini akan diaktifkan bermula jam 10 pagi, 22 Disember 2011 dan akan ditamatkan pada 12 tengah malam, 28 Disember 2011. Bersama ini dilampirkan bahan promosi perkhidmatan yang dikeluarkan oleh MAMPU untuk rujukan.

Christmas is just around the corner and that means my PMR result is coming out real soon too! AAAAaaarrrrrgggghhhhh!!!! Heeellllpppppp!!!! lol~ haha.... Woooo yaya!!! Yaahhhhooooooo!!!! Do you know what?! Today is the 17th of December 2011 and that means Christmas is not far away from now! YES!!! I love CHRISTmas!! Do you? haha.... Christmas is a season where there is full of joy, happiness, and peace. This is because Christmas is the birthday of our personal Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! So I hereby wish Him a very Happy Blessed Birthday! May Him continue to bless everyone with peace and joy! XD

Unfortunately, Christmas tradition is transforming into a "modern" version where everyone thinks of Christmas tree, presents, and especially SANTA CLAUS when they hear the word 'Christmas'!! This is a very sad thing, do you know?
Jesus came down to Earth as a human to die on the Cross so that all our sins are forgiven and that we may be saved and that's why we are worthy to call ourself a Child of God because He loves everyone of us (including non-Christians) so much. but.... as you all know, Satan is trying to drag everyone away from God in all sorts of way including this. So why not let us all put CHRIST in CHRISTmas this year to defeat Satan and show Satan that we are mightier than Satan through Jesus! Yeah! XD

This is a very good news to those who are living in Kuching city ONLY!!! There will be an annual Christmas Parade today (17 Dec 2011) at 6.30pm in town and this parade is participated by different churches and organisations! Besides that, you will get to see many different kinds of bands, any many other interesting things there! So why not head to the town tonight to find out more for yourself! XD

I would like to congratulate all SPM Candidates 2011 for having the courage to accept your once-in-a-life-time challenge that is sitting for your SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia). For those of you in overseas or if you do not know what is SPM, please do not hesitate to surf Wikipedia, the free Encyclopaedia to find out more information about SPM. And to all PMR (Penilaian Menengah Rendah) Candidates, I would like to wish us all Good Luck and may God bless everyone with flying colors results! Let's do it for God! Yeah! XD

In this few weeks, if you are shopping for Christmas or New Year, you will be able to see many sorts of decorations put up in every shopping mall, supermarkets or shops around Kuching. Some just put up a little-tiny-small so-called Christmas tree, some stick Christmas decoration around the shops, some put up extremely wonderful decoration in the shopping mall like the Spring! haha..... WAIT!! why am I so obsessed about Spring nowadays? So weird~ =P

Anyway, the photos below shows you part of the decoration put up by Spring. (The Spring I am talking here is not the four seasons of the year but Spring is a shopping mall in Kuching that is visited mostly by teenagers who like to waste time walking around! haiz.... aren't they worried about their future? NO HOPE!!! :'(

Very nice and unique design, right? haiya, Of course I know that USA, Kuala Lumpur (KL) and many other countries have way better decorations than here but please lah! This is only Kuching ok? (NO OFFENCE!! If you get what I mean~ XD) sorry^^

Hey! I found this place that they call it "Contemporary Art Exhibition" at tHe Spring Mall, Kuching. Have you seen it before? anyway, I found it interesting and very unique so I went in to have a look. After looking at some works for quite some time, I decided to take photos of ALL (maybe not all) these work arts that are displayed in that room. Wow! I love school holiday so much this year like never before! Why do I say so? For this year 2011, getting more and more wonderful and exciting movies are NOW showing in cinemas this year for school break! (especially the ones in 3D version^^) Examples are Shark Night, Puss in Boots, The Smurfs, Happy Feet 2, Arthur Christmas, Alvin and the Chipmunks and lots more! Aaaaaarrrrrggggghhhhhhh!!!!! I can't wait to watch them all! XD

Puss in Boots 3D !!! love it... XD

Welcome! Welcome! Welcome back, folks! Another weekend has gone by just like that again! And it's a brand new week again! yahoo!!! haiz..... anyway, I am so glad to tell you that I had a great week! How about yours? Was it fun or just plain fun? Mind to share with everyone?^^

Last week, I went to shop at tHe Spring Mall, Kuching to buy my new year clothings for next year 2012. WAIT! It's 2012? What?! Will we be going through many disasters next year? Is it true? haha..... just kidding^^ hey! Do you still remember the movie called '2012'? It's an awesome but QUITE scary movie, right? but..... Do you really believe in this movie? Are those rumours or "prophecy" about "END OF THE WORLD" real? We are definitely NOT really sure though as these things are still planning by God and is only said and done by God Himself only. So yeah~

[Back to the mall.....] After I bought all the clothings, I found out that I bought so many new clothings this year compared to other years! yahoo!!! I am so happy! Wooohhoooooo!!!!! Yeah! I'm Lovin' It! haha..... After buying all my new year clothings, I went to MBO Cinemas and I enjoyed Puss in Boots 3D! This movie is so awesome! I would really like to recommend everyone to watch this movie in 3D version as the effect the producer used this time is so unique and wonderful! You may not believe your eyes after enjoying this Puss in Boots 3D!

Wanna know some story about this movie? This movie is about a cat, as you all know, he is called the famous "Puss in Boots"! In the movie, he mentioned that people of different backgrounds calls him differently. I can't really remember all so sorry to tell you that I can't write them down here. (but if you DO know, please post them in the comment below)^^ He wants to straightened out his town as his town is ruled over by someone else.

Then one day, he went to a bar to drink some sort of milk, delicious milk. But everyone there make fun of him as he is small in size. But...... he didn't just let them bully him but instead he fight them back. There he learns that the outlaw couple Jack and Jill have the magical beans he's been looking for most of his life, beans that can lead him to a giant's castle holding valuable golden goose eggs. When Puss tries to steal them from the outlaws' room, a masked cat interrupts. Both fail and escape, and Puss follows the cat back to Cat Cantina, a club, where they have a dance-off and a sword fight, ending when Puss hits the masked cat in the head with a guitar. He learns that the masked cat was Kitty Softpaws. She is allied with Humpty Alexander Dumpty, a talking egg and Puss' long-estranged childhood friend from the orphanage where he was raised. Overcoming Puss' feelings of betrayal for a youthful misadventure when Humpty tricked Puss into helping commit a crime, they convince him to join them in finding the beans and retrieving the golden eggs.

The trio steals the beans from Jack and Jill and elude the angry outlaws in a canyon chase. As Humpty leads his compatriots to the spot where they must plant the beans, Puss and Kitty's relationship begins to grow from rivalry into friendship. The trio ride the fast-growing beanstalk into the clouds where, Humpty explains, they'll find castle of the late giant. Now, he continues, a fearsome monster called the Terror guards the Golden Goose. When they realize the golden eggs are too heavy to carry, they steal the Goose — which is just a gosling — and escape the castle and the Terror. While celebrating their victory, the group is ambushed by Jack and Jill, who knock Puss unconscious.

When Puss wakes up, he tracks Jack and Jill back to his old hometown, where he learns that the entire heist was a plot by Humpty to lure him home to be captured, as revenge for abandoning him to the authorities when Humpty's youthful heist went bad. Jack, Jill, and even Kitty were involved in the con. After pleas from his adoptive mother, the head of the orphanage, Puss turns himself in to the guards while Humpty donates many golden eggs to the town and becomes a hero.

While in prison, Puss meets the original Jack from the "Jack and the Beanstalk" story who warns him that the Terror is in fact the Golden Goose's mother, and it will stop at nothing to get its child back. A repentant Kitty helps Puss break out of prison. Puss convinces Humpty to help him fight off the Terror, saying he knows Humpty is a good person at heart, and he will be forgiven if he helps save the town. The Terror arrives, revealing itself to be a giant goose. Using the Golden Goose as bait, Puss and Humpty lure the Terror out of the town, but Humpty and the Goose are knocked off a bridge with Puss holding on to them. Humpty knows Puss cannot hold both of them, and he lets go, sacrificing himself to save the Goose and the town. Humpty's shell cracks open to reveal that he was a golden egg on the inside. The Terror then takes the Goose and Humpty away back to the giant's castle.

Puss is forced to flee because he is still an outlaw, but his efforts to save the town make him a hero among the townspeople. Puss and Kitty escape the guards once more, and Kitty says she will see him again soon, showing that she has taken his boots.

In the epilogue, Jack and Jill are recovering from their injuries after being crushed by the Terror, Humpty is shown once again in his regular egg form as he rides the Terror into the clouds, and Puss and Kitty head back to dance at Kitty's hideout, the Glitter Box, where they finally kiss. XD

I think it has gone nuts already! haha.... anyway, come on and let's bid goodbye to our dear November and say HELLO to our beloved December 2011!! I would also like to take this opportunity to wish all a Happy December!!! Yeah! soon it will be Christmas time........

1) Bucket

This is very important!!! It is used for laundry. You will regret it if you do not bring!

2) Detergent

Of course, is used for washing clothes, and your underwear too^^

3) Shampoo, soap

4) Towel

Eventhough they will provide, it is better to bring your own. Recommended to bring two towels, one of which take time to wash can be used interchangeably.

5) Hangers

If you are too lazy to hang your clothes in the sun, then I'm speechless. Hangers are also used to hang uniforms.

6) Anti-mosquito cream, eucalyptus oil, sunscreen

In the evening, there will be lots of mosquitoes. To sleep better at night, put anti-mosquito cream to chase mosquitoes away. If you feel that you are too fair, then don't apply sunscreen. XD

7) Toilet paper

Unless you use water to wash your butt, otherwise you must bring toilet paper.

8) Spare Clothings

Bring three sets is already enough because most of the time, you will be wearing their clothes. Your clothes is only worn during sleeping. It is best that you bring clothes with collar, just like school uniforms. If can then bring your own Baju Kurung, but don't be too sexy. Clothes need to b loose, must cover your entire feet and arm.

9) Tracksuit

National Service (NS) is held at a place which majority of them are Malays. If you wear shorts, tight jeans, they will consider it "sexy". Bring two long black pants is better, so that if the pants provided cannot get dry, you can secretly wear your own. Oh, you are not allowed to wear jeans there! :'(

10) Slippers

Slippers are usually worn for shower or for room-use. Sometimes when they let you wear casually, you can wear you slippers. Do not bring valuable things like your Nike or Adidas or it will end up lost, got stolen, dirty and ruined. Just wear your cheap ones there is good enough.

11) Watches, alarm clocks

NS is based on time to work. it will be very hard for you to do things without these two! Alarm clock is a MUST!

12) Small fan

You can listen to the talk while fanning yourself. The person next to you will be jealous of you because it is really hot there!

13) Lock

Used to lock your cabinet to prevent your stuffs from getting stolen.

14) Mobile phone

It is better to bring your lousier ones there so that no one will try to steal it room you. Remember that you go to NS for training and not to show off your "eye-phone"..... ^^

15) Money

Don't bring too much money there! MYR 50 is more than enough!

16) Food
It will be alright for you to bring your own food. You can bring some biscuits, snacks, etc........ but don't bring non-halal food so that whenever you are hungry, you can just stretch out your hand and the food is just a distant away from your mouth. Please bring your own food if you are a vegetarian. (ME TOO^^)

17) Small Notebook, pencil box, nail cutter, small mirror, water bottle......
Stationery is used to drop down notes. You will need a pen to report yourself. I guarantee there will be many people borrowing pens from you on the first day! Hope that the will return to you...... lol~ Just bring plastic bottle there to prevent disappointment.

18) This is for girls ONLY: Remember to bring sanitary pads!

19) Comb, rubber band, hair clip
Dark colour is the best to tie your hair because some jurulatih cannot bear to look at colourful ones. For girls: It is better to tie your hair as it will be very hot and they will not allow any untidiness. For boys: be prepared to be BOTAK! XD

20) Mineral water
I bet that you will not get used to drink the water provided at first because the water there looks kind of "dirty". (for some people)

21) Socks
Bring your own socks because the socks provided will be very thick and long and it is very difficult for you to wash it. White and black socks each bring 2-3 pairs.

22) Iron clothes
While you are at home, quickly ask people how to iron or else no one can help you in NS! If you don't iron your clothes, your jurulatih will scold you! Iron is provided. I recommend that you iron your clothes early in the morning or while the Malays go for solat or else you will need to queue up for a long time!!

23) Needle and thread
MUST bring as the track suits provided can get torn easily from all the stretching you do every morning.

24) Prepare some Pantun, Malay songs, and also some basic First-aid knowledge
There will be competitions going on during the training and these will surely help you to win!

25) Control yourself when sleeping
You will definitely be sleeping with more than 20 students in a camp so you need to control yourself from all your weird habits like falling from bed, sleep-talking, snoring........ ^^

26) Bring a thicker face with you
If you are a timid person who do not dare to do anything extreme or thinks that everything in this world is childish, then I'm so sorry to tell you that it will more difficult for you to survive throughout the training because you may be asked to do all of kinds of child movements, sign language, dance, sing, presentation on stage, and so much more! XD

27) BE SINGLE in NS^^
Do not have any relationship with an opposite sex in NS because it will be worthless for you! Every year, 99.99% of couples broke up in the end. If you have a boy/girlfriend in NS, your days will be very hard as your jurulatih is watching your every single move. If so, why not just be single and wait till this 3-month training ends then you start having a relationship with your love ones?

28) A joyful and courageous heart
Everyone says that strange events will happen during NS but have they really seen any? Many of them say that just to scare themself. As long as you feel safe and believe God is always there for you, then nothing can ever scare or stop you.

REMINDER
You are not allowed to bring any electronic items like kettle, iron..... or else it will temporary be confiscated in their custody. You are also not allowed to bring belt, Panadol or any type of medications or else they will confiscate it too. If you feel sick, then just go to the medic there. Don't worry, it's FREE OF CHARGE!! XD

One last thing, Last Tuesday, when I was in school helping to arrange all the next year's new textbook, one of my friends asked me to take the adult first-aid organised by my school's St John Ambulance. She told me that the passing mark for this adult first-aid exam is higher than the basic first-aid that I took not long ago. So I panic and panic, don't know what to do. but yesterday, she told me that the exam has been cancelled!!!! I am like 'ASDFGHJKL'!!!!! Gah! Hate it! anyway, It's actually good for me too^^ So happy.....

Today is the 25th of November that means yesterday was THANKSGIVING!!! Yeah! Thanksgiving falls on every 4th Thursday in November in USA. And for this year, thanksgiving falls on the 24th of November. Eventhough thanksgiving was yesterday, but for me, everyday is thanksgiving as God has taught us to be thankful for everything whenever, where ever you are. So I would like to proudly announce my thanksgiving list to everyone! BEHOLD.........

School Holiday ~ XD

As you can see, I have not been updating this blog a while ago because I'm sort of enjoying my "boring" holiday with many crazy stuffs that I can find to do. Do you know what?! My holiday started since after my PMR has just ended, that is somewhere in October. (and now is November? wow!) After that, it felt so weird as I am not used to these kind of boring days. Anyway, a few days later, I started to get used to this type of holiday. And during these holidays, I have been reading, and reading, and reading different kinds of storybooks that I have which has been locked up in my bookshelf since I was form 2 (or maybe form 1). And time really flies when we are having fun, right? I experience this too so don't you need to worry^^ WAIT!!! You must be wondering what "fun" do I mean there, right? Nope? anyway, my "fun" doesn't refer to anything that is so fun like: going to the beach, travelling to a world far, far away, jungle trekking and so on. but my "fun" refers to plain fun. (if you know what I mean.........)

For your information, St John Ambulance has organised a one-day camp to Kubah National Park. I should have gone for the camp as I have nothing to do at home but too bad that I couldn't have the chance to go as my parents do not allow me to. Why? *crying* haiz...... anyway, Everyone is asked to arrive in school at about 6am sharp because the bus will be taking off early. And I believe that all my St John members are having a splendid time in Kubah now unlike me who only can do nothing besides sleep, eat and play! XD

Not only that, I have also been spending my free times during these holidays by visiting many famous and not-that-famous blogs all around the world. What I have found out is that there are many other blogs or websites' designs are way much better and nicer than mine. The post they posted is also way much interesting than mine! so sad~ :'( but I am quite...... (I mean QUITE) glad to have such a unique design that I have for my lovely blog. (do you think so^^) We should be thankful to God all the time no matter rain or shine. Am I right? I say am I right? Look! Speaking of thanking God reminds me of Christmas, that is Jesus' birthday! Yeah! Happy Birthday to you, Jesus in advanced^^ Wait! Why am I in Christmas mood now? Isn't now still too early for jingle bells? haha..... anyway, please kindly allow me to explain briefly about LjOCH Blog! This LjOCH Blog, eventhough is mostly about religion and Christianity, but I would like to tell you that this blog is for everyone regardless of your race, beliefs, and language. As you all know, I am a blessed Christian and I am so proud to tell you that I am blessed because of JESUS! Yeah! I also love God so much like you do so that's why you can see me praising God all the time in this blog. Wow!!! I am so fortunate to have the chance to tour around the world's LARGEST floating library, LOGOS HOPE when it was here in Kuching. I get to buy some storybooks to pass my holiday time, and I also get to buy LOGOS HOPE's rare keychain!!! lol~ unfortunately, LOGOS HOPE will depart tomorrow (14/11/11) and we will not get to visit it anymore unless it comes back or goes to your beloved country for a visit. (pray so^^) but if you have not visited this wonderful once-in-a-life-time floating library, don't worry as you still have the chance to visit LOGOS HOPE today (13/11/11) before it says 'Goodbye' to everyone^^ haha.... anyway, do you wanna know my journey throughout the whole tour around LOGOS HOPE? then...... SCROLL DOWN NOW!!! XD

On the first day (28 Oct), I went to LOGOS HOPE not for the bookshop but for the concert that is "One Night With The KING!" Yeah! It was a GREAT worshipping night as they have fun, exciting songs that keep my nerves excited too^^ I went there with my friends and I believe that we had a GREAT night worshipping our one and only Lord & Saviour who came down to earth to die On the CROSS to save us from our sins! How and where can we find this type of AMAZING LOVE? :') He is truly one LOVING kings of kings^^

When I reached home, I felt so exhausted from all the jumping and shouting to praise and worship the Lord! Whew..... tiring, man! Then the next day, I decided to attend the seminar that is "Stepping Out". This seminar is just for youths where youths come together and fellowship one another. But too bad, I couldn't attend because LOGOS HOPE has ran out of ticket..... :'(

Then on 9/11/11 (Wednesday), I toured around LOGOS HOPE bookshop. I had a good time there exploring the whole bookshop. But before touring the bookshop, you will be asked to sit in a 'live' boat where they will play an introduction movie of the ship. They have many unique and interesting books displayed on the shelves! I WANT TO BUY ALL OF THEM! haha..... anyway, the photo below shows the stuffs that you can get from the bookshop:

After touring the bookshop, we need to go through a part of the ship where they call it "The Journey Of Life". This journey is about a story of a prodigal son written in the bible. (PS: I MAY post the story of the Prodigal Son in the next post. STAY TUNED^^)

Yup! If you had went to LOGOS HOPE, you would know that it is a long long journey, right? After the long long journey of life, we get to sit in an international cafe and drink a cup of coffee there! But I chose to eat their yummy MIX Ice-cream (chocolate plus vanilla flavour).... yum~ haha.....

Not only that, At about 9pm, I started to head home, I met their "captain" too! haha.... look at the photos below: XD

Ok. That's all I got for you about my tour around LOGOS HOPE! And before LOGOS HOPE start to depart from Kuching, let us bid goodbye to our dear LOGOS HOPE and pray that the LOGOS HOPE team will reach their next destination safely. Muahahahahahahahahahaaaa!!!!!! lol~ anyway, the LARGEST Floating Library, that is LOGOS HOPE, has made her FIRST maiden visit to Malaysia when the ship with a crew of 400 from 50 countries docked at the Swettenham Pier in Penang on 18 August 2011 & Port Klang from 29 Sept to 23 Oct. LOGOS HOPE is now visiting Sim Kheng Hong Port in Kuching from 28 Oct till 14 Nov. After that, LOGOS HOPE is going to visit Kota Kinabalu too on 18 Nov to 4th Dec!!!! SAVE THE DATE & don't miss out this Golden Opportunity because LOGOS HOPE comes ONCE in a long while....... :'(

Nice day mate^^ Today is a big day for all Malaysians of Hindu faith, that is Deepavali...... Do you all know what is Deepavali for? Why do they celebrate Deepavali? Why is it so important for them? Let me share with you about this unique festival. According to Wkipedia, The Free Encyclopaedia, Deepavali or Diwali, popularly known as the "festival of lights," is a festival celebrated between mid-October and mid-November for different reasons. For Hindus, Diwali is one of the most important festivals of the year and is celebrated in families by performing traditional activities together in their homes.

The name "Diwali" is a contraction of "Deepavali" (Sanskrit: दीपावली Dīpāvalī), which translates into "row of lamps". Diwali involves the lighting of small clay lamps (diyas or dīpas) in Sanskrit: दीप) filled with oil to signify the triumph of good over evil. During Diwali, all the celebrants wear new clothes and share sweets and snacks with family members and friends.

The festival starts with Dhanteras on which most Indian business communities begin their financial year. The second day of the festival, Naraka Chaturdasi, marks the vanquishing of the demon Naraka by Lord Krishna and his wife Satyabhama. Amavasya, the third day of Deepawali, marks the worship ofLakshmi, the goddess of wealth in her most benevolent mood, fulfilling the wishes of her devotees. Amavasya also tells the story of Lord Vishnu, who in his dwarf incarnation vanquished the Bali, and banished him to Patala. It is on the fourth day of Deepawali, Kartika Shudda Padyami, that Bali went to patalaand took the reins of his new kingdom in there. The fifth day is referred to as Yama Dvitiya (also called Bhai Dooj), and on this day sisters invite their brothers to their homes.

While the story behind Deepavali and the manner of celebration varies from region to region (festive fireworks, worship, lights, sharing of sweets), the essence is the same – to rejoice in the Inner Light (Atman) or the underlying Reality of all things (Brahman).

DIYAS, a type of oil lamp

Yup. Diwali or maybe Deepavali is now well-known as "The Festival of Light". This is because Diwali is then translated as "row of lamps". So that is why every Deepavali Eve, Hindus will arrange a type of oil lamp called "diyas" around their house compound. Then during night time, every family members will get to light up one oil lamp each or maybe more depends on the quantity of oil lamps arranged around the house compound. That's why every Deepavali, you will get to see your Hindu friends' house lighted up by all these "diyas". How beautiful, right?

haiz.... so sad~ I don't have the chance to go visiting this Deepavali. boo hoo.... :'( haha.... anyway, let me tell you something very special. From the picture above, you can see that I have been to that place before. This place is like a tourism store, where all Sarawak's unique items like: black pepper, shark fin, bird's nest, white pepper, sago biscuit, keropok, many different kinds of herbs & spices and others are sold here. They also sell T-shirts that are beautifully designed with all sorts of Sarawak design. I like the one with the Dayak's design on it!! Too bad I didn't take photo of it as I was not allowed too. Do you know what?! The things sold there are also sold at a reasonable price!! So WELCOME~ XD

"Tebaloi" is one of trillion type of brand of sago biscuit. This brand is sold at SingPiao. This "Tebaloi" has three types of flavour. They are Original flavour, Chocalate & Pandan flavour. They are so delicious! yum~ yum~ I like all of them! I want some more!!!! haha.... ^^ This is my first time to eat Sago Biscuit. So that is why I think that this is a very delicious sago biscuit.
