We get this question asked a lot in the chat so I wrote up a textwall that puts together the arguments made by us at Lockerz-Scam. This wall will likely be updated every time a new argument pops up.

Firstly, why is the word scam used? Scam is defined as profit from deceit; a deceitful or fraudulent act. Lockerz profits off of the users by advertisement views, profit margins from SHOP, and selling your opinions from Dailies to companies and marketing groups. By watching the advertisement prior to a Lockerz video, the advertisement company logs the watch and for every thousand or ten thousand views, Lockerz gets paid. By selling items like a PS3 from SHOP, Lockerz makes a profit because they do NOT pay $300 to SONY for the PS3 to resell. They make a profit off you just like normal stores like Best Buy or Walmart. The Dailies are sold to companies, most likely in bulk, to get an idea what will be the new fashion, what is Hot and Not, so they know how to market directly to teens. The teenage population is huge at this point and if advertisement companies know what items to promote, the larger the profits will be for the company they represent. We do the dailies, we watch the videos and Lockerz gets the payment. This covers the profit part of the definition. Deception comes next.

When you first joined, you most likely heard or read about Lockerz’s easy redemption and they used the phrase “turn around and redeem your PTZ for incredible merchandise, unique experiences and exclusive deals and sales” to hook you into joining. Never did it mention anything about what a redemption was, how it was only monthly, and how you had a near 0% chance of redeeming a prize. Lockerz made themselves sound like a company that had a redemption system similar to the way SHOP works now. The majority of users on Lockerz thought it was just simply point and click on the prize you wanted and could be done at your leisure. No one was expecting to be forced into competition against every Lockerz user just to get a CHANCE at a prize. Lockerz made themselves out to be an easy redeeming site where things could be easily yours at a chance of 100%. It’s not until you join and spend 2 or 4 weeks where you learn how awful redemptions are and how your chances dropped from 100% to near 0%. However, in the span of the 2 or 4 weeks, chances are all the videos have been watched and dailies been answered. Since your chance of getting a prize is already exponentially low, they don’t have to worry about losing money because there’s a good chance you already quit by the time you endured 2 redemptions. They already profited off you so now they could care less. Thereby profit from deceit. Furthermore, PTZ expire 1 year after they are issued on a monthly basis. It’s very likely that unless you cave and buy from SHOP, your PTZ will disappear before you redeem. Also notice how no other site that offers prizes for doing services has expirations. Lockerz is the only site that has expiry dates on earned site currency.

Going on about how they could care less about you, try sending e-mails to customer service. 3 of them came back as generic computer generated e-mails and 2 went unanswered. I e-mailed Kathy questions on Lockerz’s work ethic and views on users and I have not gotten a response. I resent it twice and still nothing. I think she blocked me. There are many cases so far about how people are getting shafted at Lockerz. Many people are saying they were accused of cheating when they bought from SHOP or their SHOP bought item went Out Of Stock so they will get refunds on both PTZ and money. So far, I have no reports on any refunds, all still pending.

One thing in SHOP that seems to be happening a lot are You Cheated e-mails. Almost every person who has attempted to buy a game using PTZ alone that comes onto this site has told me about getting their PTZ removed and getting a You Cheated letter. Of course this has a bias due to people getting prizes would not come here. However, the point remains that there is an unnatural amount of You Cheated letters going around.

Continuing on about cheating, if you read the Terms Of Service, they can deem any suspicious behaviour as cheating. They do not need any hard evidence about it. If they even suspect you have done anything wrong, regardless of it’s true or not, you can get your prize revoked and punished. Basically, Lockerz can say everyone at this redemption cheated and everyone loses their PTZ and their prize. They make the rules and they can do anything they want.

When they do redemptions, very few people redeem. Otherwise redemptions would last longer than 1 minute. Starting from March of 2010, they declined in the amount of users, from an average of 600,000 to 370,000. Lockerz is losing its members due to poor business habits and terrible customer (user) relations. In fact, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), gave Lockerz an F. For those that do not know, BBB is an organization that rates the customer-business relations and every large chain company is listed. Anyone who does well by the BBB is generally a company that takes care of customer problems and listens. Now back to losing members. Lockerz has effectively lost over 200,000 active users yet they still have 1 minute redemptions. Anyone see the problem? You have fewer members than before yet all prizes are still gone at the same rate? That just means that there were far less prizes than we expected. If you decrease one variable and the result is the same, that means that either
1. You have not reached the equilibrium point where prizes last longer than 5 minutes.
2. Lockerz is decreasing the amounts of prizes as they lose members.
3. Lockerz has less than the expected thousands of prizes we were all led to believe.

Even after they redeem, people must pray they don’t get the infamous “We Sold Out” e-mail where they say, “Yea you were fast, but you still weren’t fast enough so we sold out before you finished. You got the confirmation but now we revoke it from you. Have a nice day.” That is complimentary to their cheater rule and is justified by their Terms of Service. The fact that they can even do this, even if they are legally covered, shows poor business relations.

A Z-list shirt? Wow congrats for falling for a marketing ploy. By them sending you a shirt, you will now go parading around in it and saying “Lockerz is legit. I got a shirt.” They could be completely a scam and people would fall for it now that there are people going around saying “No, it’s completely real because I got a shirt”. Not only does it prove a false legitimacy, it is an advertising ploy because now people who never would have joined or heard about Lockerz would now join because of you, allowing Lockerz to gain more profits. They even removed the Z-list shirt now because they probably do not want to set up a budget to allow Lockerz members to get more $2 shirts. They already peaked back in ‘09 so they have no need to promote Lockerz further. Most people who wanted to join already have and those who refuse to will not change their minds after all this negative criticism. They’re now being cheaper by not even offering a tangible item. From what I hear, Z-listers get an E-Survival Pack with a Lockerz Desktop. Just what we wanted, an ugly purple background.

There are arguments that Lockerz is still in beta and how it will get better. Newsflash guys. Lockerz has been up for 1 year and 3 months now. Every month since the launch of PLAY, they have been seeing profits from your video views. You’d think that since now videos are helping fund Lockerz, that the prize budgets would increase and that redemption time would last longer. Well, obviously it hasn’t otherwise redemptions would last longer than a minute. Prizes that were less top tier like NDS or WII games would last longer than 1 minute. For 15 straight months, they have NOT had a redemption where top prizes have lasted longer than the normal 1 minute. I know that Lockerz was nice back in the first month or two before they went mass public advertising. I heard of many good things back then. Since it gained popularity, the prize ratio seemed to slip into 1:1000000. It’s clear that Lockerz cannot give away prizes as much as they promised and that’s why we are seeing so many people getting their prizes revoked even after a successful redemption.

Finally, I’m hitting Lockerz’s FaceBook. Notice how your negative posts get deleted? Lockerz censors constructive criticisms, complaints, and any negative feedback in general. The Labs end up answering air because of all the deletion that goes on. To liken this to real life, it’s similar to Communism or the Black Oppression except with less violence. In American history, the government (White Man) would oppress the slaves (Black Man) and refuse free speech, although it was against the first amendment. Lockerz does the same. They allow you to post but short of 3 minutes, your post will be gone and you will be banned. Zgore has posted several times, some offensive, many not, and each of them were taken down and he was banned on every account made. Lockerz works like a communist party without governmental power.

So most of you might be thinking, “Hey quit whining, it’s free!”
I complain that Lockerz redemption sucks. If they make money off me, I think I have a damn right to come out and complain and say “Hey, why do you see profits while I do services on your site and see no tangible results of my own? Why am I forced to go in competition on a blind date to even get a shot at seeing the results of my labour?” Granted getting PTZ is like getting dust in an unclean room, it just piles and piles. The point is, we have these stacks of PTZ and nothing to spend it on. I have enough for 99% of the stuff in PTZ Place and yet I can’t even get a single game on SHOP? Lockerz continues to see profits that if invested properly, could possibly fix PTZ Place itself and allow for a smooth redemption yet after 1 year and 3 months, we are still seeing 1 minute redemptions. It is quite obvious at this point that they don’t try to fix these when they can make you buy their overpriced crap at SHOP, especially since PTZ expirations are coming up.

Another thing I hear a lot is “STFU IDIOTS!!! MY FRIEND/PERSON ON YOUTUBE/I GOT A PRIZE FROM LOCKERZ!!!! IT’S NOT A SCAM!”
I never said that they don’t give prizes. They do but the question is how many? Lockerz has advertised themselves as a 100% chance redeem site but through experience, every user can undeniably say that it is not true. They do give out prizes. The catch is, the amount of prizes is nowhere near suitable for the amount of active users on the site. Youtube has say 350 or so un-boxing videos and another 22,000 invite videos. The amount of un-boxing videos might not be a large chunk of the population of people who got prizes but Lockerz has been open for a year and 3 months now. You’d expect the number to exceed 1000 if they truly did give away as many prizes as they lead on. People who scream out so-and-so got a prize does not help the situation. Lockerz does not give out more prizes than they need to. If they needed a minimum of 100 prizes to be given out to keep up hype, they’d do so. If it were 1 prize, they’d only give out 1 prize. By you guys spreading person X got a prize, you are spreading around the message that Lockerz is easy where it clearly is not. Redemptions aren’t done to satisfy you. They are done to keep you believing that you will get a prize. They are done to keep up word-of-mouth advertising. There is no better publicity than positive reviews from a friend. If a friend vouches for Lockerz, the person is more likely to join and therefore Lockerz earns more profits while being able to NOT increase prize totals. Lockerz will continue to be a scam until they have made their system work like they had sold it to us: An easy to earn and redeem site.

For all of you who seem to think I or any other writers on the site get a financial gain, think again. There are no advertisements on this site, except the ones built into WordPress which are impossible to remove. Since 2010 started, no one has attempted to recruit other sites or defer you guys to a site that might be in our best interest. I have yet to see any recent articles with a referal link. We don’t make any proits nor do we try to get you off Lockerz so there will be less people. Lockerz is already doing a good job at losing users. I’m simply here to lay down what Lockerz is, what Lockerz has done, and what Lockerz doesn’t want you to know. The site offers a rebellious voice against the opressing Lockerz company and allows new members or soon-to-be new members to know what they are getting into. I’ve gotten a few people commenting about the time thing from the March redemption and saying I was stupid because obviously 1 redemption cannot satisfy the world. NO SHIT SHERLOCK! That’s why I had to explain to them 3 or so times that I even wrote suggestions to allow Lockerz to serve their fanbase better.

Since ONE (1) redemption cannot satisfy the world, why not make several? Split the prize amounts evenly across all the redemptions so that gives everyone a better chance at redeeming. Then, why not make each redemption in a timezone allowing for a 4 hour difference? That way when it is 5 in Pacific time, it is 8. When it is 6 in England, it will be 9 for a place 3 hours different from them. Thereby allowing the WORLD to be satisfied by a more localized redemption. That way, each area will not have issues like school. It only takes good scheduling and a little research into possible issues like when does school end for people. But if the research is done and redemptions were localized, everyone would atleast be able to attend a redemption. For people who are thinking, “What if people from outside my timezone pops into my redemption?”. Lockerz can block you out by IP. It just requires a little bit of programming knowledge.

That could mean thousands of T-shirts and 5 iPods. They never specified which items they have thousands of so they can say they have thousands of prizes in total but only 10 of each game, 2 iPods each 1 iMac and the Mac Air is just for show. Just because it’s listed at PTZ Place doesn’t mean they have to have it in stock.

3. Because Lockerz is completely crap at organizing themselves. They also can’t afford to keep up the $2 shirts.

4. It’s obvious they do. Why do people have advertisements? Because the company pays the site money for people to see the advertisement. Before a video starts, a 30 sec. dish-washing soap advertisement plays. For every thousand or ten thousand plays, Lockerz gets paid. Therefore, the more videos we watch, the more Lockerz makes. For Dailies, they sell your opinions to marketing companies. Take the Speedo daily for example. They take a poll to see how many people say Speedo’s are in and how many say out. Thereby allowing companies to produce more or less Speedo’s and advertise to the population of the world or more likely, North America.

So most of you might be thinking, “Hey quit whining, it’s free!”
I complain that Lockerz redemption sucks. If they make money off me, I think I have a damn right to come out and complain and say “Hey, why do you see profits while I do services on your site and see no tangible results of my own? Why am I forced to go in competition on a blind date to even get a shot at seeing the results of my labour?” Granted getting PTZ is like getting dust in an unclean room, it just piles and piles. The point is, we have these stacks of PTZ and nothing to spend it on. I have enough for 99% of the stuff in PTZ Place and yet I can’t even get a single game on SHOP? Lockerz continues to see profits that if invested properly, could possibly fix PTZ Place itself and allow for a smooth redemption yet after 1 year and 3 months, we are still seeing 1 minute redemptions. It is quite obvious at this point that they don’t try to fix these when they can make you buy their overpriced crap at SHOP, especially since PTZ expirations are coming up.

Another thing I hear a lot is “STFU IDIOTS!!! MY FRIEND/PERSON ON YOUTUBE/I GOT A PRIZE FROM LOCKERZ!!!! IT’S NOT A SCAM!”
I never said that they don’t give prizes. They do but the question is how many? Lockerz has advertised themselves as a 100% chance redeem site but through experience, every user can undeniably say that it is not true. They do give out prizes. The catch is, the amount of prizes is nowhere near suitable for the amount of active users on the site. Youtube has say 350 or so un-boxing videos and another 22,000 invite videos. The amount of un-boxing videos might not be a large chunk of the population of people who got prizes but Lockerz has been open for a year and 3 months now. You’d expect the number to exceed 1000 if they truly did give away as many prizes as they lead on. People who scream out so-and-so got a prize does not help the situation. Lockerz does not give out more prizes than they need to. If they needed a minimum of 100 prizes to be given out to keep up hype, they’d do so. If it were 1 prize, they’d only give out 1 prize. By you guys spreading person X got a prize, you are spreading around the message that Lockerz is easy where it clearly is not. Redemptions aren’t done to satisfy you. They are done to keep you believing that you will get a prize. They are done to keep up word-of-mouth advertising. There is no better publicity than positive reviews from a friend. If a friend vouches for Lockerz, the person is more likely to join and therefore Lockerz earns more profits while being able to NOT increase prize totals. Lockerz will continue to be a scam until they have made their system work like they had sold it to us: An easy to earn and redeem site.

For all of you who seem to think I or any other writers on the site get a financial gain, think again. There are no advertisements on this site, except the ones built into WordPress which are impossible to remove. Since 2010 started, no one has attempted to recruit other sites or defer you guys to a site that might be in our best interest. I have yet to see any recent articles with a referal link. We don’t make any proits nor do we try to get you off Lockerz so there will be less people. Lockerz is already doing a good job at losing users. I’m simply here to lay down what Lockerz is, what Lockerz has done, and what Lockerz doesn’t want you to know. The site offers a rebellious voice against the opressing Lockerz company and allows new members or soon-to-be new members to know what they are getting into. This site is simply a forum where people can find out what Lockerz does to its users and allows you the opportunity to speak your mind.

Since this month’s redemption happened in 2 parts, I’ll write it in chronological order.

First up, Spring Fling Redemption:

Day: April 15, 2010
Time: 6:52 PM EDT (GMT -5:00)

So here’s my personal experience. It started at 6:52 and got in at 6:54 PM. Well, we all know what can happen in 2 minutes at a Lockerz redemption. I go in and find no electronics left except wallpapers and earphone covers. I then head over to the Brands We Love page and find only Snowboards left. Wow. 2 minutes… In 2 whole minutes, almost everything was emptied out. Needless to say, I just closed the tab and went back to Youtube.

Some people had problems with this redemption. I heard from several people that during the first 30 seconds, there was a technical error. Their ability to log in sent them to an internet connection error page. They then had to return to the log in page and re-log in. Well, that seemed to take them a few costly seconds because when they got in, they saw pretty much the same thing I saw. Junk remaining.

Restock just finished.

Date: April 29, 2010
Time: 6:37 PM EDT (GMT -5:00)
Duration: 32 or 33 minutes

It’s 8 minutes in and only thing remaining is the iMac, a Ruffian Scarf, $500 PayPal and a bunch of Lockerz brand crap. We know iMac and the PayPal aren’t going anywhere. No one has the amount of PTZ needed to get them. This redemption was over when it started. 2 minutes and the only thing that was left were Baggu bags, Lockerz exclusive items, DVD’s, Wallpapers and Earphone covers.

So there are several people I’ve talked to who said they were there for the first minute. No technical issues this time.
They do say that even in the first minute, the only thing that remained were SOME games, headphones, wallpaper, Lockerz Exclusives, and Brands We Love crap. Even people in the first minute did NOT see an iTouch or other high ticket items. Hmm, makes you think how much stock they really have on the iTouch (or if they even have any at all :O).

So here are a few things I noticed. This time around, the selection of prizes weren’t exactly the same as the Spring Fling Redemption. This time, there were no snowboards and the Brands We Love weren’t the same as last time. There also seemed to be less movies this time around. If you guys took time to notice, the PTZ Place catalogue is much larger than the redemption store. I also noticed Guarantee Your Prize has been removed. I wonder why things are missing. Could it be because they don’t have stock on that stuff anymore? If that’s true, then maybe they don’t have stock on iTouches. Maybe they just leave the picture of iTouches up just to show that, “Hey you were too slow this time. Maybe try again next month.” Sounds like one of this rigged carnivals doesn’t it? Well, that’s just speculation.

This time around, I thought the timing was pretty good. Seems I was wrong. On the East Coast of North America means you are likely to be in the GMT -5:00 or -4:00 range. The redemption would have been 6:37 or 7:37 respectively. Sounds nice to us on the Eastern end. West end however, is 3 hours behind us. That means West Coast would have been 3:37. I forgot that many schools do not end at 3:00. It seems that there are quite a few people who missed it because they leave school at 3:30. 7 minutes after school ended, redemption started. Lockerz still has work to do on timing redemptions but accepting Canada and US as a pair was the right start. Now maybe if they can fix time issues and stock issues, Lockerz will be good to go.

This is a new section I thought might be fun. I was in the chatroom and PerryJoe posted a funny Lockerz Facebook Quote. I lost it in the posting wave but it gave me the idea to make a story/quotes from users section. The following are quotes taken directly from Lockerz’s Facebook page right after redemption and a few from the users in the chatroom. There have been no altercations to the quotes (Which explains the lack of correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc.). You also probably won’t find these anymore on their Facebook wall. The International Redemption has been delayed to the 30th due to technical issues. They failed on the 29th so they did promise a rerun the next day. Since I can’t be there, I won’t be reporting it. So on April 15th during the Spring fling redemption, I managed to redeem this rubberized Thermos for 900ptz. After months and months and months i get something. It’s kind of crappy too as it’s over double what a game costs and close to a ipod…..but I figured that almost everyone goes to the electronics section first because the better prizes are cheaper. As soon as i heard Shibar say it was happening i went over to see. I had 1542ptz and knew I had no chance of getting a ipod or game so i went straight to the exclusive section and straight to this and redeemed it…after 20 or so seconds to fill out my info and redeem it (note i did not look at any other prizes or decide) i finished and went back to see what else was in stock….like usual 99% of items were out of stock..The only items that lasted over a minute was the Stadium Blanket for 2400ptz, the Beverage Dispenser for 3000ptz, one paypal which i believe was the $500 for 10,000ptz, one DVD for 1400ptz (forget which one) and wallpapers…Well…for those who don’t know, I have been saying for a long time, since December, That if a ever redeem something, no matter what it was, that I was going to make a UNBOXING AND BURNING VIDEO. Why am I doing this, simple lockerz is still a scam. While I and some others redeemed…most people got nothing…So in protest of lockerz redemptions I will record the unboxing of my prize then the immediate burning of it. Though just because I redeemed my prize does not mean I will get it..lockerz could make some BS about me cheating which i have never done, or forgot it like they forgot my z-list shirt, or take over 3 months with BS about it will be coming soon like other people’s prizes. But, if i do receive my prize, which if on time would be sometime in May…I will make that video….Look for updates here………

UPDATE…..confirmation email received…weird as it usually takes them a lot longer..maybe it’s because they are trying to convince me to join there side or because so few people redeemed…here is the confirmation email.

UPDATE…..well the first email was sent on April 16th….it clearly says my rubberized thermos was shipped within the last 2 days….well today april 21 i got another email just like it….from reading it either lockerz lied  in the first email..or messed up and sent me two prizes as this one says rubberized blue thermos instead of rubberized thermos…

UPDATE…..I got my prize today…April 23rd…..I have yet to open it and because of a 14 hour shift i work on Saturday…I will make the video on Sunday and have it up sometime Sunday or have it up by 3am Monday…for the video I am going to make it one continuous shot, to aid the burning  I am going to make a home made napalm to pour inside it…if needed i will make two videos if the video lasts more than 10mins because of Youtube”s limit but it will still be a continuous shot…if your a fan of lockerz-scam.com and want to be mentioned just comment below “Lockerz is a scam mention me (your name)”

Alright, I’ll be honest here. I wasn’t on when redemption started so I can’t speak for the first hour of the redemption. Now onto what I noticed when I tried and Facebook experiences from others.
So here’s the main facts that you might want to know:
1. This redemption’s premise was to give the winners of March Radness a redemption. That means the losing team doesn’t get any chances at a redemption. (A competition of USA vs. The World where the winner is the team that gets the most points. It is USA, not USA + Canada vs. The rest of the world. If you’re wondering, The World won, which includes Canada.)
2. This redemption was in one wave ONLY.
3. It could happen at any time after March 26th.
4. Time was still not specified but it was supposedly timed to allow for the most optimal time for every global user.
5. All prices were multiplied by a factor of 4. That means games went from 100 PTZ to 400 PTZ

Alright so with the basic rules out of the way, here’s what I recall. First of all, the redemption happened at Tues. March 30, 2010 at 2:07 PM (GMT -5). So as a Canadian point of view, guess what most of Canada’s users were doing. Give up? The majority of us were in school when it first started. As every long term Lockerz user knows, redemption basically ends at the first minute of opening. That basically means, if you’re in class, you missed out. Good job Lockerz, you fucked over most of Canada because we all know most if not all of your users still have school. What do you want us to do? Skip school or class just so we can sit at a comp 24/7 just to redeem? School before Lockerz so I guess that means Canada’s pretty much out of the running for the nice prizes.
Now that’s basically for the first hour for people in the GMT -5:00 time zone. I was curious to see what was left so I tried to get on an hour later. At 3:15 PM, I checked it out. PTZ place was still up so I knew redemption was still on. Guess what happens now? I try logging in and get the “You are not part of this redemption.” message. I’m really confused so I head to Whatsmyip.com. Lo and behold, I’m listed as Canada. What’s wrong with Lockerz? I’m seeing my IP listed and I see google map pinpointing me in Toronto. At this point, I just give up and check out their Facebook to see what others are thinking. To my surprise (well, not really), others are having the exact same problem as me. It appears many were also unable to Log In at PTZ place and got the same message as me. I don’t know what happened but Good Job Lockerz, you just denied a redemption to quite a few of your winners.
So here’s what I hear as a rumour. I’m unable to confirm because I couldn’t find enough people who went to the redemption due to inability to Log In or because the redemption was over when they were finally able to be on the computer. Well, apparently, the jack up of cost on prizes did not deter the one minute redemption. Turns out that even though prizes were high and started to separate users into different PTZ brackets, all the prizes were still gone. I’m not sure about the Mac Comp or the Mac Air since no one was able to give me a straight answer about its availability. Everything else though was gone in the first minute again.
What I also hear, which may be a rumour, is that the remaining prize was another Paypal prize again. Sounds similar to the January Redemption though.
The last rumour I heard was that people who ran a US proxy were able to get into PTZ place. I’m not sure about it but I doubt it’s true.
So here’s my thoughts. It’s bloody obvious that games would run out fast. Look at it, the prices went up to near unreachable levels. iTouch 64 GB and the 32 GB are in totally new tiers. Back when it was still 800, everyone was able to go for it. Now that people with less than 1000 PTZ are limited to prizes, it is very reasonable to believe they would all go for a lower cost prize that’s actually worth something. The only thing that fits that definition are the Video Games so it’s quite clear they would sell out in seconds. It’s just more surprising that the high cost prizes like the PS3 and iTouch were gone. Lockerz has many members so it’s not surprising there are quite a few that have enough for them. BUT it’s surprising that they sold out so soon too.
Well I’m tired of writing now and I pretty much covered the basics. If you guys have an experience to add, go ahead and post away. Just try to be civil about it.

                          

For those who read back in January, our friend 5hadowenygm4 redeemed a PS3 but it went on back order. I’m not going to go through the details but here are the basics of what happened previously.

1. 5hadowenygm4 successfully beat the crowd of Lockerz members during the December restock and redeemed a PS3.

2. He gets a confirmation e-mail in January congratulating him on redeeming the PS3.

3. He gets another e-mail from Lockerz in January saying that he has been back ordered because of the excessive amount of orders on the PS3. He was to get it in 3-4 more weeks.

4. We all wait with him for 3-4 weeks and now time is up. We have not heard back from Lockerz regarding his redemption. Apparently, he got no response from Kathy when he emailed her about it.

So Lockerz, where’s the PS3? Is this how you treat members? You use them and then forget about them once they want something they rightfully gotten? Let it be written that I will do everything in my ability to get 5hadowenygm4 his PS3. (Any suggestions would be nice)(No suggestions of Terrorism or DDoS attacks)

So here’s an update. As of the second or third week of March, he finally got a shipping notice and his PS3 arrived in tact the next week. Congrats to 5hadow for being the one in a million and congrats on finally getting your prize. It was about time too eh?

                          

Well it’s been a long time since the restock so my memory wasn’t as sharp… Sorry if the times aren’t exact.

OK so lets get started shall we? The February restock consisted of 4 waves. 3 out of the 4 were pay to enter. For 1 wave, you pay 100 PTZ. For 2 waves, 250 PTZ and for 3 waves, 350 PTZ. The last wave was a free wave for everyone. The dates scheduled for the 3 pay waves were February 25 and 26th for the free wave. Let’s analyze each wave separately so here we go.

Wave 1 (6:00 – 7:00 PM EST)

This was probably the biggest failure Lockerz had throughout the 4 waves. First off, during the time leading up to 6:00, the website was hammered and crashed. right before 6:00, all everyone saw was the screen with Odyss licking glass and the purple error. This continues on throughout half of the wave. Seriously, everyone saw the error image up until 6:30-6:35ish. at 6:40ish, the doors opened and redemption was over in a snap. WOO Congrats Lockerz, can’t handle the bandwidth even after the apparent switch of servers in December or January.

Wave 2 (8:00-9:00 PM EST)

Nothing special in this. Same, typical, lightning fast restock. Wave was over in 2 minutes or so. Somehow, they sold out of Paypal cards O.O How can you sell out of cash? No more budget for the cards?

Wave 3 (10:00-11:00 PM EST)

Same as 2. Ended before anyone even realized it.
Wave 4 (5:37 PM EST)

I don’t know about you guys but I couldn’t get in before everything was gone. Might be my luck, might be my internet connection not being the best in the world. I don’t know but at this point, I’m not very upset.

Afterthoughts:

Typical Lockerz restocks. The first wave was reminiscent of the Z-Lister only redemption back in November or September. The rest were similar to the January restock except this time Paypal cards went Out Of Stock as well. Still don’t know how you run out of E-gifts… especially the wallpaper…. HOW DO YOU RUN OUT OF WALLPAPER?!! Seriously, it’s not tangible and it only takes up bandwidth. How can you possibly run out of that?

Something you guys should all note is the Lockerz Facebook wall. You should have seen how angry people were on Facebook. There was literally over 1000 posts on their wall about FAIL and WTF LOCKERZ!!!! Was very fun to read. It’s also great to see the maturity of many of the Lockerz fanbase. After walls of WTF and FAIL comments came the racists. Several, not one or two but several posts said international members were to blame. Some members seemed to think that the failure of Lockerz was due to its non-American members.

Lets not forget that after the restocks, Lockerz Facebook was taken down again. Can’t handle all the negativity? Well too bad. You deserve it. You can’t call these redemptions. These are lotteries.

Theories behind this restock:

Well let’s now look at the hidden details in this restock. First, they said it was 4 waves. Sounds great right? Well, it would except for one thing, they never mentioned an increase of stock. That means that even though there were 4 waves, that never meant that the stock of items would increase. Let’s say they had 100,000 prizes last redemption. Now, they could have had 100,000 for this redemption too since they never said they would increase the stock they had. That means they could have had 25,000 prizes in each wave. This redemption could feels like it’s giving you more chances at even smaller odds.

One more thing to note is this could have been a business scheme in Lockerz favour. How come this is the first time they want us to pay points to try and redeem? Maybe it’s because Lockerz fears that if they open the full site, they would get bombarded by redemptions at their 24/7 shop. Think about it. Not a lot of people have redeemed so it’s completely feasible that the amount of points of many members is over 800. 800 under the terms of Lockerz’s 24/7 shop would be enough for 2 games. That would bankrupt Lockerz really quickly if they allowed everyone in the world to order up a game. So this pay to redeem might have been a way to reduce point totals while making it seem like they are being really generous.

Show me your proof that what we say (lockerz-scam.com) is false and lockerz is legit. Show us that everything we say is just made up. Don’t go and post videos and pictures of your prize or someone elses prize because that does not prove anything other than that you or someone else has gotten a prize. If you have read anything on this site you should know by know that we are not saying lockerz gives nothing but that they give a very small percentage of membership a prizes. Do you think lockerz is giving a large percentage of membership a prize? If so then show us proof of that and show some estimated numbers of how they would afford that. Don’t post links to several pictures or videos because you would need to post more than 200,000 to show that 5% of membership has gotten a prize from all the redemptions combined. Show me proof that lockerz isn’t influencing people to stay on. Show me proof that you have a big chance of getting a prize. Also don’t post a link to Liberty media or to something that says Kathy was a ceo of amazon or stuff like that because all that shows is ownership. Just because a legit company owns part of other does not make the people running the other site legit. Show me some logical proof with a logical explanation to show that lockez is legit.
