Here's an FOTD using some of the products from the limited edition Estee Lauder spring collection, Topaz. The combination of golden brown, amber and turquoise is somehow more summery to me - but hey, I guess it's never too early to inject a little warmth into the face after a long cold winter, and anything's better than the usual spring fare of pastels.

High street favourite Collection 2000, purveyors of excellent concealer and glitter eyeliner, are celebrating their 25th anniversary by changing their name to "Collection". I can totally see the logic there - where the 2000 might have been futuristic in the past, it seems a little dated in 2012. The rebrand brings with it a new tagline, "Work The Colour", along with a brand palette of orange,

Quick Pick: Davines NOUNOU Conditioner for Colour Treated Hair

Despite being a confirmed lover of all things beauty treatment related, and a native Londoner, I've never visited the famous Sanctuary Day Spa in Covent Garden. This is largely because I've always found the entry fee (around £75) a little exorbitant given that you basically get use of the facilities and no inclusive treatments for your money. This month, though, I finally went - with one of my

Review: Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo with oat milk

I get a lot of compliments where I wear this beautiful Orly polish. From the Cosmic FX collection of 2010 (which seems like only yesterday), it's a gorgeously glowing blue with a subtle purplish duochrome and a heavily foiled finish. It's wonderful. In sunlight it's insanely eyecatching, glowing as if lit from within, and in artificial lighting still rather pretty with speckles of purple.

How pretty are the jewel-like facets of colour in this Smashbox powder? Fusion Soft Lights powder is designed to give natural looking radiance - although I can't quite work out whether this means that it's a highlighter or a blush. On my pale skin it gives a soft hint of colour which works well as a subtle blush, which also works for layering on top of matte shades.

As Gemma reported last week, Estee Lauder have recently translated their 3-in-1 powder/liquid/gel format into a range of eyeshadows, Cyber Eyes.

Like Cyber Copper, the eyeshadow looks pretty impressive in the pan - it's got a kind of grooved, undulating surface design that catches the light beautifully.

I once gave up Diet Coke for a good month or so in a bid to get healthy. It didn't last long, but even if I was off the stuff now, I'd probably be jumping straight back on it - Diet Coke's latest collaboration is with Benefit, with the core offer being £5 off a £20 with every can. Even more of a reason to buy a new lipgloss, or a tube of the UK's best selling mascara, They're Real.

Myleene Klass (via JML) has brought out 2 sets of sweet heart-patterened nail wraps in time for Valentine's Day. Costing £5.99 for 24 individual wraps, they're the type you literally peel off and stick on - they don't require heating up before you apply them. There's the red set (above), which I tried out, and a complementing black set. Both include both 24 coloured wraps and 24 clear wraps

The Lynx Effect... for girls?

We just received a press release announcing that Lynx are launching a new deodorant fragrance for women. The famous "Lynx Effect" will now be accessible to girls as well as guys, but how well will it translate?
It's called "Attract For Her", and will be released as a limited edition alongside a "for him" version in February.
