London Nightlife Gurus Forbidden London Clubs Presents Vivienne Westwood Play

Forbidden London Clubs, in partnership with The Motion Group theatre company, are staging an all new theatrical production of Vivienne Westwood’s much publicised manifesto for cultural change, Active Resistance to Propaganda, at one of London’s most versatile venues to hire, Bloomsbury Ballroom, this December.

Andrew Steggall, a close friend of Vivienne Westwood, was approached to be part of the project by young political activist and entrepreneur James WJ Wilson - of Forbidden London - who saw the Director as a natural choice to help bring the production to the stage for the first time.

Andrew met Vivienne in 2003 as he explains: “She saw a production of ‘The Soldier’s Tale’ that I directed at the Old Vic. She’s a great believer in the power of theatre and I, a great believer in the power of Vivienne Westwood, was keen to get to know her.”

He continued: “She was already working on the Manifesto then I think and so I have been aware of its development over some time. Over the last couple of years I have been to a number of readings of it and was conscious of its potential to be at least semi-staged.”

Vivienne Westwood - an active and passionate environmental campaigner for The Prince’s Rainforest Project and the closest thing you will come to a living legend - is best known for her influential work in fashion. Considered by many to be the first lady of punk following the opening, with then partner Malcolm McLaren, of a boutique on Chelsea’s Kings Road (originally named Let It Rock and later Sex, Too Fast To Live Too Young To Die and Seditionaries) now known as World’s End.

The Dame also won the accolade of British Fashion Designer of the year in 1990, 1991 and 2006.

Active Resistance to Propoganda will be performed at London’s Bloomsbury Ballroom on Friday, 4th December.

David Beckham Celebrates England Win at Top London Club Bungalow 8

The England football team were in high spirits as they celebrated their 3-0 win against Belarus at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday night at one of the best London Clubs.

With WAG Victoria Beckham at home in LA, Premiership footballer David Beckham, headed to top London night club and celeb haunt Bungalow 8 with a friend.

An inside source said: "As soon as David arrived in the club he was ushered to his table with his male pal but soon after he was surrounded by women who were all vying to get his attention."

Beckham partied until 3am despite his 7am flight back to LA. I hope he remembered to book a taxi to take him to the airport before bed!

Three Generations Of Elvis Presley’s Relatives Party at Mahiki

On Tuesday night Elvis Presley’s former wife, daughter and grandchildren capped a family vacation in London together with a party at one of the top VIP clubs Mahiki in Mayfair.

Guests at the Polynesian themed night club come cocktail bar - which is opposite The Mayfair Club on Dover Street - were all shook up at the sight.

Lisa Marie Presley, who gave birth to twins last year, was with her musician son Benjamin (who has just signed a reported £2.5 million music contract and was no doubt celebrating with some Champagne) who is the image of his late Elvis.

Priscilla was also there and thanks to modern science didn’t look like she was much older than her daughter Lisa Marie despite being 64 years of age.

Una Healy, from the pop-tastic girl band The Saturdays, celebrated her 28th birthday at Disco 24 on Kingly Street in Soho last Saturday night.

The celebrity got completely trashed and fortunately had her boyfriend handy to hold her up outside the top London club (but unfortunately he didn’t manage to hold her dress down) before they jumped in to a London taxi.

The morning after the night before Healy posted on her twitter: “just saw all the pics from last night on the forum…. (red face) lol!!!! I had a great night.”

What? She can actually remember her night?! I find that hard to believe.

Something changed in the London nightlife scene when Chinawhite - a fixture for ten years amongst the best clubs in London - closed in December 2008.

Prince Harry has reportedly got back together with girlfriend Chelsy Davy after a secret months-long battle to woo her back.

The prince was said to be ecstatic about their three-month trial reunion and even celebrated with a round of coffees at his Shropshire helicopter training base.

Chelsy dumped the royal eight months ago and ended their five-year relationship over his lack of commitment, and her frustration at the confines of life within the Royal Family, it is believed.

“They’ve always loved each other but he knows he let her down badly in the past and he won’t do it again.”

However rumours have suggested that he left the club alone, without a model in tow. A source said: "Mickey was in the VIP area surrounded by girls. He ordered a load of champagne and they seemed to be lining up to get his attention."

But apparently he was not all that impressed, he paid the bill and headed for home at 3am. What a good lad.

Celebrity Lindsay Lohan insists she and girlfriend Samantha Ronson are not splitting up. The "Mean Girls" star, who has been dating the DJ for several months, has posted a new blog denying all rumors of a rift in their romance.
