So, following an inspired enquiry from our own Steve (adoubletap) to the boss of South Beers Coach & Horses, Steve (adoubletup), I have gone ahead and booked their function room, with fully functioning room for functioning TV coverage of this functionally functional epic stage.

The afternoon of Saturday 25 July at the Coach & Horses, Acre Lane (Clapham/Brixton). Space is big but will be arranged/limited according to numbers so need to have a list ls & gs.

ps - sorry for the separate thread but need to make sure this doesn't get lost with aussie, lance, france, etc bashing rhetoric

I've been riding fixed for about four months (my brother has a charge plug and i've changed it to fixed to ride on),
I really want to get my own fixed bike, but I can't decide whether to get an OTP bike or build my own. I've been reading this forum a lot, but I still don't think I have enough knowledge to build my own, yet I don't want to get an OTP because I would like to be original...
so would really like some help in deciding! pros/cons of either, except building my own bike would be awesome, and a good learning experience, just I don't think I'm qualified enough!

Cheers,

found an old brroks on a rusty roadster, and am restoring it. It had three chrome coil springs, which I took off, because they wert fair old heavy. I have a fair bit of experience in leatherwork, and just about managed to re-mould and restore the leather (cracked and horribly out of shape - 30yrs in a barn without being used), but some clever bugger stripped the threads on the tensioning nut, meaning it is quiate floppy, and the leather sits on the rails when pressure is applied by one's rectum.
