Hello,
I am Monideepa from Kolkata. I have been associated with IR as Model X for last 3 years. I am 5ft 7 inches tall. For my thick, long, knee touching hair, that you can see in the recent video the full credit goes to my mother, who still takes care of it. She is the one who encouraged me to approach IR. She gives me 2 weekly hot oil massage, before shampoo. Once a month I use Henna for conditioning. Apart from that I do not take any extra care for my hair. Twice a day, I brush out my hair for about 10 mins each to keep it tangle free. And at the same time I love my hair brushed by somebody also…:) . I just let it grow & always wear my hair in a big bun. Hope to do more work with IR and give you

Hi Friends,
It’s nice to be back among you after a long time. I hope you enjoyed my last video series YA4 very much. And wish that IR do lot more innovative videos in future. Its nice the way IR people handle such long and thick hair as mine during their shoot. Sujit asked me once to recommend some ladies with such beautiful hair. But till date I failed to locate somebody for them. But this is true that I get noticed easily everywhere in the crowd due to my huge bun that I usually wear while going out. This reminds me an incident that happened to be very important in my life. That was the day I first met my husband. Me and one of my friends went to visit a fair that evening. In a stall of beauty products some product demo was going on. We two landed there and were watching it very keenly. After the demo a person approached us and introduced himself. He gave reference of one of my very closely known persons and it seems he used to know me from earlier. Anyway, we got to know each other and eventually a relationship developed. After a couple of months when everyone of our family came to know this and our mariage is getting fixed he revealed one day to me that on that very evening in fair he was standing behind me throughout the hour of that product demo and was smelling my bun which went unnoticed by all present there. I got surprised listening that and to be very honest liked it also….lol. Ultimately what happened is after our wedding he became an ardent fan of my hair and there is not a single night that he sleeps before brushing and smelling my hair for long long time. I thank GOD that I got a husband who takes care of my hair so much.

ITS A TERRIBLE SUMMER

I dont remember I spent such an unbearable hot summer ever in my life. Its really a bad time for girls with very long hair like me. You wont believe how sticky the hair gets in times and it sweats all over. Oh GOD…I wish I could fly immediately to Switzerland or Darjeeling. Darjeeling is now politcally unfriendly and Switzerland…..I dont know when my dream will come true. Jokes apart, its my polite advice to all my friends to hydrate yourself as much as you can. And be it the case for long hair ladies, washing twice a week is a must and dry it immediately as mush as you can. This sweat is bad for your hair and moreover for your health too. Drink plenty of water and if possible saline water sometime as it takes lotsa salt hell outa your body. Any way, tell me friends how was the surprise of cutting my hair in my last video. I know you nearly got an heart attack of sort. Nothing happened like that and my hair is as sweet as ever past my knee. It was a trick IR played with you. But it was nice to scare you all once a while. Bye.

Hi viewers, I am Anurupa from Calcutta. Please don’t think that I’m a model of indianrapunzels. I am also a visitor like you of this site. My hair is not very long I would say but its thick & silky that I can boast of. Once i spotted an ad by IR and I called up. Subimal asked me to meet. Though I am not a rapunzel still he kind of liked my hair and photographed me. But after going through the site I was fascinated to see such amount of hard work these people do and bring the whole thing in place. That’s amazing. It’s my good luck that they considered me as a guest lady of the month and encouraged me to grow my hair more and more. My husband also liked the idea an in fact he loves my hair a lot. So being a house wife my hair is getting so much attention, its great an experience for me. I wonder why other girls having very long hair dont approach them in more numbers and get such an wonderful opportunity to get their hair appreciated properly by the world. Hope things will change soon. Thanks to IR again for such good work. Keep it up boys.

The famous Indian summer heat is beating down, with temperatures hitting the 40. C everyday and high humidity levels is almost unbearable. My outdoor shoots are killing. My hair which is now calf length, is bearing the brunt of heat, sweat & dust. I am taking a lot of water & juices to keep myself hydrated. IR has requested me to be ready for an upcoming shoot, with new script, which I think is very interesting. I am keeping my outings restricted to early mornings and evening hours to get some respite. Hope you all are well & fine. Love all.

Hi,
I am Debarati, the model TA of one of my most favourite websites of this world IR. I thought to write in this blog long back but today only I could do that. By profession I am a teacher. My hair length almost touches my knee. May be due to thickness and silky feel of my hair I was qualified to work with IR. But to be very honest this was a dream come true for me to work for such a wonderful site that too for my hair…wow. I always love to keep long hair and encourage my students too to keep their hair very long. Its ofcourse the inspiration of IR that I increased my hair length more than the last video you have seen. And in coming futute there may be another video featuring myself where You can see my latest hair length. Through this post I want to enncourage and request all female viewers of IR and all the ladies on this earth to keep their hair as long as possible. Thank you very much

HI,
I was quite bogged down with my work & projects for my classes &
missed you all. I do find time to go through your write-ups here; it
charges me up, to find so many well-wishers here at IR. My hair has
reached floor length, which you will soon see in my new video, to be
put up soon, as per Subimal. It was fun shooting for IR, we feel like
an extended family. They are so professional and committed to long
hair and make me feel pampered. We had done many new poses, tried new
angles & came up with many first time intimate shots which you had
never expected from me. By the way, I am thinking of a serious trim
now. I may cut my hair to knee-length, as it is growing to
unmanageable length now. What do you think? If you think that you like
my current length, I may keep it. Please see the full video & write to
me.

Hi Guys,
How you doing? It’s been a long time since I’ve last written my blog. Being absolutely engulfed in my busy schedule it’s become too hard to find a little time for my PC. Its sad. To be honest managed a day though for a shoot for IR. Hope you got my last video I’m referring to. It was really…really fun shooting with Moyitreyi and the IR team. Believe me I got nostalgic during the work. It definitely remionded me my earlier days when my mom used to take hours to oil, brush, shampoo, dry my hair and lots of other care regime not to mention. It was such a sweet plan of IR to shoot that combo. I would request them to shoot more like that in future. Another reason I’ve settled down today for the blog is to appeal to our long hair lover friends to save IR. Few days back I saw in a forum that some people are trying to upload full videos of IR to some free servers. The sole revenue for running this show comes from these videos only. If that stops then I think sustenance of IR will be in question. At least I dont want that. What you feel…??

Hallo everybody. This is RUPA here, the model YA of IR. After a long request of Sujit & Subimal I thought to pen down some of my ideas and experience with IR. For long time I maintain my hair as very long till my knee and very thick and silky. But it was beyond my imagination that on earth people can admire this long thick hair so much and can go mad about that. That too, above all, in a media like internet a website on this subject can exist I never realized. When Sujit approached me first I was little skeptic about all these things. But after he briefed his idea and moreover after meeting the other members of IR I was quite impressed. They are so decent and well behaved & from good families. So, I agreed to work. Specially what I want to mention here is my experience during shooting. It was so good and full of fun that I never thought of. They are so good in treating me and that too with so much honour that I really liked it. I heard some people possess the idea that there is some scenes in these IR videos those show content to be labelled as adult meterials. But I vividly oppose them and I want to assert that what IR is doing is purely to promote the beauty of Indian Long Hair and nothing else. So, I would request to shed this notion about IR and please support them so that they can sustain this good work. To be very honest I kind of started this site a lot. More I’ll try to write in future. Till then bye

I was not able to update my blog as I am fully dependent on my daughter for updating, since I have no computer knowledge. My hair is trimmed to 55 inches now, black, silky straight & shiny as ever. Every week I follow a regular hair routine. I oil my hair weekly once, keep it overnight & wash by shampoo. I shampoo twice a week. It takes about 4 hrs to dry in open air. Everyday I brush my hair for 20 minutes. I use coconut oil of Parachute or Nihar brand and keep it overnight. I also use Henna treatment once a month. Many of my visitors have asked me about pulling my hair; I do allow consensual pulling or gentle pulling, rough pulling or yanking causes hair fall, not to mention the severe pain associated with it. It really amuses me that, I get visitors as young as twenty, which is half my age and they literally go bonkers seeing my hair. They behave like unruly school kids in a candy store. They pull my hair on the chair/bed or across the room, holding the base of ponytail/braid, wrap it on their hand, neck, put in pocket, smell my hair, oil/shampoo it or ask me to flip/rub on their face. I find it very funny. Never in my younger days, did I find people so crazy about my long hair. IR had done the ‘My Aunt’ video, featuring me, hope you have seen it, and please let me know how you liked it? Also you can write in details in the Blog, what type of video you would like. I am open to various ideas, provided, it is decent enough. Depending on that I will ask IR to make the sequel of ‘My Aunt’ series.
