Penang Day Three (Part Four)

This is going to be my very last post about my very last day at Penang! :(

Before going back, we went to have breakfast at some place, I forgot where. HAHA! But the food was really good! Especially the roti canai! I know you must be thinking ah chehh, roti canai, such common thing, you can find it anytime, anywhere in KL. But seriously, it is different! You guys should try it next time! (: And apparently the roti bakar was good as well, but I didn't try it though. The kuey teow/meehoon was one of the best! :D Ah gosh, I miss those food now :/

Went to the Snake Temple after that because it was just like few minutes away (: According to my relatives, there used to be a lot of snakes there, but there aren't that much anymore nowadays. Nothing much to do over there. =/

To kill more time. We headed to Queensbay :)

Penang Day Two (Part Three)

Went to have ABC and rojak at New World Park before heading to Kek Lok Si because we were a little hungry. I love that place, it is really clean and nice, the food is good too! :) You guys should go there when you go to Penang next time! :D

There is traffic jam everywhere we go in Penang, and there are a lot of traffic lights here and there, so annoying! =( I remember when I went to Penang 2 years ago, we went to Kek Lok Si at night and it took us more than an hour to get there. Yea I know right! The jam was super terrible! This time was not that bad, we went in the evening but still a little bit jam and it was not easy to find a parking space too. It was quite crowded inside there. We stayed till 7 something at night to wait for the lights to on :)

Finally, the pretty lights :) Everyone was getting their big ass cameras ready to take pictures. At that moment, my baby dSLR looked really small compared to the pro ones that day. There were like one whole row of them with their tripod stands and all. I felt so shy to take picture. HAHAHA! *hides* Still, I managed to get a few nice shots before leaving that place :)

Penang Day Two (Part Two)

The second day in Penang! :D

Went for breakfast with my relatives. And gosh, the FOOD THERE WAS OMGWTFBBQ SO AWESOMEEEEEE :D A great breakfast is always the best start for your day :) The kopitiam was so so crowded when we went there around 11am. We had to wait for a while to get seats.

Wore a top that I really like that day! Got it from Sg. Wang and it only costs me 10 bucks :D

After having our breakfast, we went to another temple :) As usual, there were a lot of people there as well. IT WAS BLOODY HOT THAT DAY, and there was no where shady for me to hide :(

After visiting the temple, we went to eat again! HAHAHAH XD What else can you do in Penang right? EAT LA DUUHH. I don't know why but I don't feel full at all when I was in Penang, seems like I can eat anytime ;) I had don't-know-how-many-meals a day :D Food makes me happy :)

Headed to a beach nearby to kill time before going to Kek Lok Si in the evening :) It was really windy there, love it!

Penang Day One (Part One)

Hello! It is time to blog about my trip to Penang during the Chinese New Year holidays :)

I went to Penang with my family and relatives on the second day of Chinese New Year. We started our journey at 9 in the morning, stopped by at Ipoh for lunch and continued with our journey again. Reached Penang around 2 something if I am not mistaken :D Luckily there was no jam that day! :)

We went to check in to our hotel, B-Suite when we reached. After that, we headed to a temple to pray :) There were really a lot of people there! So I guess it is a famous temple eh? Walked around that area after praying (:

Went to a seafood restaurant near the beach to have dinner at night. Food was alright, not the best though. There were hell lots of mosquitoes and cats over there. Scary to the max! D: I hate cats! Just so you know :P They were all walking up and down and I hate when their tails touch my leg! LIKE EWWWWWWWWWW.

After dinner, we headed to Straits Quay for a walk. The view there is really pretty. A nice place to hang out with your friends, or loved ones :)

The Year Of Dragon

Happy Chinese New Year everyone! How's your CNY so far? :)

I went back to Pahang last Saturday night and we had some reunion/gathering/open house thingo on Sunday night at my grandparents' place, just like last year :D My uncle invited around 70 guests!

The food was okay okay, but last year's food was wayyyyy better, seriously. It was kinda boring for em back in my hometown since all the adults were busy talking and the kids were busy playing. Most of my relatives are not around my age so yea.. :/ But still, I enjoyed taking pictures of the adorable kids and pretty fireworks! :) It is good to have a camera with you when you are bored ;)

This Chinese New Year was quite boring. I really miss the times when my grandparents were still here. It was really fun! CNY was one of the best festivals, but not anymore.. All the relatives would come to my grandparents' place and celebrate it together, have lunch together and just gather around there. I miss the noise, the people and everything. But now, the huge house is so empty and quiet during all these festivals. That's why it always makes me sad whenever I go back to my hometown :/

Once A Friend Always A Friend

The awesomest friend.

Friends for 3 years + and still counting! 3 years + isn't really long and it is not that short either. I first met this guy in Form 2, didn't know anything about him in Form 1, hehe! :D I remember when I first entered that new classroom in Form 2, I saw some familiar faces and of course some new faces. When I first saw him, I thought this guy over here was a bit scary, or maybe too cool for us and unfriendly =/ Surprisingly, he turned out to be a really nice and interesting guy! Heh! ;D

Anyways, during high school time, he was always the one making funny jokes out of no where, singing random songs, drawing funny stuff and that made everyone laugh. He made the boring lessons interesting, interesting lessons even more interesting and he never fail to make us laugh! ;D

As time passed by, I got closer to him, we talked more and became good friends! I really miss being in the same class as him :)

We were in the same class for 2 years straight and I have to admit that, that 2 years were really fun and amazing! Will never forget all the great times I had with you and of course with the other classmates and friends :)

Even though we got separated into different classes in form 4 and 5, we are still pretty close now, this shows that nothing can affect our friendship :D

Now is he is going to Australia, I am going to miss him so so much! :( But still, I believe that our friendship does not end here :)

College Life

Finally, I have graduated from high school and I just stepped into another stage of my life, that is college.

I have decided to do Edexel A-levels at HELP University College since I applied for SASA scholarship offered by HELP and I got it.

I never knew college life can be so tiring, seriously. I thought it would be quite relaxing and stuff, but no! After coming back from college these few days, I was so tired that I didn't feel like doing anything else but sleep! Slept for 2 hours+ in the afternoon for the past few days. I don't get it, we didn't even do anything but we were dead tired. Strange..

My orientation days were on the 3rd and 4th of January which was few days ago. The first orientation day was kinda boring, the whole auditorium was so full that I had to sit on the floor with my friends, yes, THE FLOOR. So sad right. And my ass and body hurt so bad after that, really!

Listened to talks, talks and more talks. Basically, the whole day we just sat there and listened, without any break! They talked about the subjects, the things we need to know about HELP etc etc.

I was waiting for the tour of HELP University session because I really wanted to stand up and walk around.

The campus is actually kinda umm.. weird? There are so many different blocks and we gotta walk here and there everyday to attend our classes. I think I will get lost there, HAHA! When the weather is nice, I don't mind, it can be a really good exercise too. But when it is freaking hot or when it rains, uh oh, I can't imagine! D: Went to have lunch with my friends at Monte's, BSC after that.

The second orientation day was all about the subjects offered by HELP for A-levels programme. Honestly, some of the briefings were pretty useful :) I wanted to leave early that day because the subject briefing for the subjects that I am taking ended early and I was really tired, but too bad, I was not allowed to. I had to wait till the whole session to end to collect our time table. Sighh. Got my time table that day and started classes today!

I was, no wait, I AM very confused. I can't make up my mind and decide what subject combination to take because I have no idea what do I want to be in the future. Wanted to take all the Science subjects at first, and when I thought about it, that combination might be a bit hard for me. After listening to that Economics briefing, Economics sounded really fun and interesting. And now, I am currently taking Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics and Physics. I get to try these subjects for two weeks, and after this two weeks, I get to add or drop and change the subjects.

Attended classes for the very first time today. First class started at 8am. I thought I don't have to wake up at 6am or 7am in the morning anymore after high school but I STILL NEED TO. If I don't go early, there will be no more parking space for me. =/ Walked all around trying to find the place for my first class. Luckily, I was not the last to enter the class. Had ice-breaking session during Economics, the whole class was full! Had Mathematics and Further Mathematics after that, they taught a little, pretty interesting. Went to have lunch at Chillax during my 2-hour break. My last class was Physics, it ended at 3 something. I was really sleepy at that time. So far so good! :)

Life After SPM

It is not that fun, seriously. I am bored and I feel very lifeless. My life is boring now that I don't even know what is there to blog about! Geeeeez.

Before SPM my friends and I were all talking about how awesome it is going to be after SPM, we were all planning to do this and that go here and there. But in the end, nothing happens. LOL. Yes, I have to agree that I feel very free now, no stress and everything but still, not doing anything useful feels..wrong! I was planning to start college in March, but when I think about it again, I think it is better to start in January, just in case I die of boredom at home :P There is no where to go because all the air tickets and hotels are so expensive now. Sighhhh =/

What have I been doing all this while? I have completed the 1000 pieces puzzle that I bought btw! YAY! :D Hmm, let's see. I have been sleeping at 3-4am and waking up at 12-1pm everyday! That's the only thing I enjoy about this holidays :P Feels so good when I wake up everyday ;D Talking to my friends till the wee hours, watching tv shows, watching movies, eating, eating, sleeping, sleeping. Yeah, that's about it.
Went out a few times. Went out with my friends, went to friend's party, went out to shop with my mom etc etc. Life's pretty awesome at this moment. But when I have nothing to do at home, or when no one is talking to me, that shucks! :(

Two more weeks till college starts. What can I do for these two weeks? Work? Nah, not enough time. I think I will just stone at home :/
Will be going to HELP next year, those who are going there, see you guys next year! :)

Food Review One Sweet One Night

Bought my very first Group On voucher not too long ago, I was abit scared when I bought it actually. I was scared and worried that I might get cheated/tricked or something since this is my first time purchasing something from the internet. Haha, but in the end I decided to try it anyway. Used the voucher few days ago, glad that everything turned out well, phew *wipes sweat* :D

The voucher value is RM57.10 and I bought it for RM11 something if I am not mistaken. Worth it, isn't it? :)

The restaurant is One Sweet One Night, at Solaris Dutamas. Love the decorations there :) This restaurant uses iPads for you to place your order, how cool is that! :D One thing I didn't like is that the waitress kept standing there when I was looking at the menu, she looked like she was really impatient. Please la, give me some time to look at the menu and choose what I want to eat okay? Don't just stand there and wait, go away shooo shooo. It is not like I am going to eat your iPad or anything. This is the same situation as those shopkeepers who follow you all around when you go shopping. ANNOYING to the max! The services were just okay.

Other than that, everything else was fine :)

The 10th of December 2011 was our school's prom. Theme was Burlesque! :D

Hmm, what can I say about this very last high school event? Well, there is only one way to explain it - SUPER DUPER AWESOME! :) I had been waiting for this day since like forever, thinking about what to wear, how to do my makeup, hairdo and everything but now it is over. See how fast time flies :') Spent quite alot of money just for that night but I think it is all worth it! Everyone looked really good that night and I am sure they all enjoyed themselves very much like I did :D I am glad that everything turned out great. A big thank you to the awesome organizers, you know who you are ;) It was really a nice ending for my high school life. Will never forget it!

HEY GUYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

Finally, I am back! :D

Weeehooooo, SPM is over.. Wait a minute, it is not officially over for me yet. I still have one more subject to go, that is English for Science and Technology (EST), the tenth subject on next Thursday. But whatever, that is not really a study-or-die paper, so I can already smell my lovely freedom! :D I really want to study for that subject, but I don't know what is there for me to study! Any tips to share with me? :)

All the subjects I took were okay I guess? The objective papers were good, but for those papers 2 and 3, I am pretty sure I made some stupid careless mistake somewhere. It always happen to me! No matter how much I study, eeeeeeek. Pissing off. -__- Anyways, let's just hope that I will get good results *prays everyday*

In the blink of an eye, one of the most important exams in secondary school is over. Few months ago we were all busy panicking and preparing for it, and now, we don't have to do this anymore :) The real SPM exam somehow didn't feel like THE SPM for me, it felt more like a normal school exam. No stress! :] Guess that's a good thing for me. But seeing all the invigilators with unfamiliar faces from other school walking up and down around us, it made me a bit scared :P I miss our school teachers so much! I really do :/

The moment when the last paper was collected last week was so awesome, even though the last paper (Bio paper 3) was kinda hard and I was feeling oh-so-ganjiong that time, but then again the feeling was indescribable : D

So what did I do after SPM? I asked my mom to go out with me that night itself because I was so happy and excited that day but she didn't want to! :( So the first day wasn't that fun for me, I just stayed at home and well, wondered what to do next in my life.

I went to Puchong to search for food the second day. Ahh, they really do have awesome food there, should really go there more often :)

And for Friday, I went shopping with my mom at Mid Valley! Wheee, it's been so long since I last shopped! So happy :) Spent quite alot, felt bad but I still want to buy somemore stuff. Heee, what to do? We girls are like this!

On Sunday, I went to Lake Gardens to walk around and take pictures. Pictures will be up soon! :) Had dinner with my relatives at night, bonding session! :D

Went to Publika, Solaris the week before SPM started. It is so different now compared to the first time I went there. Love that place, good place to hang out with friends and take pretty pictures too :)

Went to Eat Food Village for lunch. I like the atmosphere there. Tried the Ampang chicken rice and it was sooooo good, I was craving for chicken rice btw :P However, the curry mee was just normal. Nothing special. It was my first time trying Chatime too! Love it :D

Graduation (Part One)

Time for another new chapter of my life.

It is so hard to believe that 5 years of high school just ended like that. I am not going to be greedy and ask time to stop here just because I had a good time in WMS and I am going to miss all my friends but I still can't believe that yesterday was my VERY LAST DAY OF SCHOOL, last day of being a form five student, last day of stepping into my 5C class for lessons, last day of spending time with my friends in school.. (excluding the SPM weeks). Yes, we all know that this day will definitely come and visit us some day, but I didn't expect it to be here that fast! Everything is happening so fast that I cannot accept it anymore! :(

I sometimes ask myself why didn't I try to enjoy myself in Form 1? Why didn't I make an effort to like my class in Form 4? If I have done those things earlier, there will be much more memorable memories for me to remember. Oh well, it is too late to regret now. But still, I am happy with what I have now :)

I told myself not to cry during graduation day. I failed to do so. Knowing that I will no longer be together with those awesome friends of mine who have been through and all the ups and downs with me, I couldn't hold back my tears. The time when everyone started hugging each other, thanking their friends, taking pictures, wiping their tears was just so saddening. During times like this, I really want to run away from that place and just cry my heart out.

I didn't want to leave my class, I didn't want to leave my school when school ended yesterday. My class is like my second family, my friends mean the whole world to me and school is just like my second home.

People tell me not to cry because it is over, smile because it happened, yes, very true, but when it comes to things like this, I can't really control myself. People tell me it's okay, don't worry, we are still going to see each other next time. Yes, I have to agree with that too. But then again, everything is going to be so different, time flies, things change. Even though we are all going to see each other again, but the feeling is different. What I will miss the most is, the high school life that will never ever come back again.

I will miss waking up early in the morning, feeling like shit and lazy to go to school..

I will miss the annoying and noisy people in my class..
I will miss arguing about anything at all with my classmates..
I will miss the awesome teachers..
I will miss having break and lunch with my bestfriends..
I will miss sharing food with my friends..
I will miss smiling and laughing with all of them :)

Hey guys! My computer monitor died so now I am using my TV screen to surf the net! Sounds pretty interesting and cool I know. I am like watching the social networks, hehehehe get it? xD Okay nevermind. But it gives me a headache, probably because the screen is so much bigger compared to the normal screen I use.
Anyways, this might be a sign to tell me that I should study more! Good thing actually, heh! I promise I will blog soon! Bye! :)

12 more days till SPM!

High School

It is really scary that how time flies so fast without any notice for us.. It seems like I just moved up to K.L and entered that scary Form 1 classroom just few months ago. In the blink of an eye, I am now in Form 5, waiting for SPM to come and deciding which college to go to. In few weeks time, I will no longer be known as a Form 5 student, but an adult :D Even though there are a lot of strict rules in my school, I still love my school, very much! Okay, more like my friends :) I miss spending time with them, talking about anything at all during break and lunch and now we have no time to do all these awesome things together anymore because everyone is so stressed out about the upcoming exam and wondering about their future, sighh. I am seriously going to miss all these. But what can I do? This is one of the stages of life, isn't it? :)

I have no idea how my life is going to be after high school, is it going to be as fun as this, or the other way round? I am actually quite scared to think about it. I don't like to think about my future because I am afraid that I will take the wrong step :/ Let's just wait and see what happens next. After this SPM exam, everyone is going to take different paths, everyone will be doing different things, everyone will be going to different places to study, we might not even have the chance to see each other again. Let's just hope that we will still remember each other and keep in touch from time to time :)

Form 1;

The first year! When I first entered a brand new environment, it was pretty sad and bad for me at first. As time passed by, Form 1 life became quite awesome thanks to my friends :)

Form 2;

A pretty good year for me :) Met new classmates and stuff. Had a good year with them <3

Form 3;

PMR year! But I must say it was the best year of my high school life, seriously. My class was just like one big happy family, miss it!

Form 4;

Another new chapter. It wasn't a really good time for me but oh well, at least there were still some interesting moments to remember ;D

Form 5;

The final year :) So many things happened this year that made my high school life sweet and memorable. I really love all those people around me!

Hey guys! :D

So instead of spending my time wisely and study during study leave, I have been going around doing not-so-important stuff. For example, I went to Puchong with my mom on Wednesday to visit my relatives and search for good food there. I think it is my new favourite place in town, there are good food EVERYWHERE, the price is reasonable too! :D Went out with my friends on Thursday to Pavilion and I finally went to Red Box after sooooo long! :D Enjoyed myself (: Went to Genting on Friday with my family for one day.

I promise I will start studying next week, next Monday! :D 37 more days till SPM! *panic panic*

Food Review Little Taiwan

Went to the Little Taiwan at Solaris Dutamas last week. The food is not bad, price is quite reasonable as well. I do not understand why the restaurant was soooo empty that day :O
Anyways, here are the food that we ordered :) The total price was around RM30. Acceptable!

Love this! :D The rice tastes really good with the chicken and gravy. The portion is just nice for one person :)

Special Stewed Rice. RM4.90.

The portion is quite big. Love the noodles and soup. If you like bean sprouts, you will love this because the soup is filled with the taste of it :) Thumbs up!

Tang Tang Noodles. RM9.90.

This one is just normal. Sweet and a bit chewy.

I think this is nice too! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Me likey! :D

Homemade Onion Pancake.

My favourite! It is sourish and sweet, I think they put lemon in.it :) It is quite pricey tho.

Hey readers! :D It's been awhile. Around 2 weeks to be exact :)

WOOHOOOOOO! Finally SPM Trial is over :D Not to say finally la, since the whole thing ended quite fast actually, it is suprisingly :) Heh.

Anyways, I thought the papers were going to be slightly easier than Mid Term Examination, but hell nooooooooo they were not! NOT AT ALL! I didn't expect the papers to be that hard =/ But okay whatever, it is over now. There's nothing I can do about it now, but one thing I know is that I made a lot of stupid and careless mistakes. LIKE EFFING STUPID MISTAKES. Goodness, I feel like slapping myself whenever I look at those mistakes again. Grrrrrrrrr. Thanks to all the super hard questions, I have no time to check properly and this is what happens. Sigh =/

One thing I hate about my school's exam system is that the timing is so messed up. Most of the papers started really early in the morning, and assembly ended so late that we all Form 5 students had to run up to the hall get started with the exam paper immediately. How are we supposed to think properly right after running 4 floors up to the hall? -___- And the break and lunch time given were so short that I think they were only enough for us to walk down, walk up and that's all. I told my mom so many times that I did not have enough time to eat in school, she didn't trust me.
I didn't bother waking up at 5 in the morning to study this time because I think sleep is more important, which is true :) Or maybe I am just lazy HAHAHAHA!

I have one week of study leave next week, and one more coming in November. Hmmm, what should I do? Don't tell me to study because I JUST had my trials. But still, I will do a bit of revision so I don't feel so bad. Heh. I want to go somewhere. Like somewhere nice and near for good food, scenery and of course, just to relax :) Any suggestions? But then again, I really want to relax and have fun now after all the stress I face last week, but there is one major and oh-so-important exam coming up next, that is stopping me from doing so many things! Shucks. And right after SPM, I gotta start planning which college to go to and stuff like that. Time, why you no stop for a while!!! :(

Food Review Shook!

I went to Shook! at Starhill Gallery yesterday to have a try. I found out about this tea time promotion that they are offering last month from one of the bloggers' food review, I wanted to go there since then but I was too busy last month. Since I am having holidays now, and I have been searching for good food here and there, decided to visit that restaurant :)
I think they have started this promotion quite some time ago just that I didn't know about it. Oh well, not too late yet! The promotion ends on the 4th of October. So, hurry up :D
The 3.6 best tea break in town promotion is that all the food are just around RM3.60++.That is a really awesome promotion I must say. How cheap is that? :D There are different variety of food for you to choose. There were quite a lot of people there yesterday when I went. I love the atmosphere there. Really relaxing and nice.

Tropical blend. Rm3.60.

Pasta prawn aglio e olio. RM4.60.

The pasta is not soft enough, other than that, this is quite nice :) Tell me where else can you find pasta with six fresh prawns for only RM4.60? :D

Grilled cumberlan 8-inch sausage with honey mustard sauce and mashed potato. RM4.60.

Oh, I love the sausage and mashed potato, no complains :) Mhmmmm *drools*

Fish tempura with noodles. RM3.60.

Not a big fan of Japanese food but the noodles is nice, but the fish tempura is a bit too soft.

Tori kaarage, Japanese style deep fried chicken. RM3.60.

The chicken is nice and crunchy but quite tasteless tho. If only there were some sauce for us..

Grilled prawn. RM3.60.

Mini tiramisu. RM6.60.

This is a bit more expensive compared to the rest but it is definitely worth it. The tiramisu melts in the mouth <3
