sorry for the lack of updates for the past few months. I am studying for my board exams and I actually lost my camera charger. so my camera has not been in use for months. one day maybe. one day i'll start this back up again. until then enjoy the archives.

The Scarlet Skies

I was in my room when I noticed everything became a bright red, i looked around and then outside and saw this sky. It is the first time I have ever seen anything like it. So rich and full of colors, every picture I took came out differently.

An Awesome Sunset

Why call it awesome? Well, why not... The formation and color of the clouds are wonderful from foreground to background. There is that light pink near the sun which you know will just spray out when the it shines a little bit lower. And the mountain, the mountain doesn't seem as intimidating when it leaves you in wonder.

A Normal Sunrise

When I try and bring up the subject of the sky with people this is what they have in their mind. It seems no one else notices what I see, I see all the previous pictures I posted of sunrises. The beautiful cascade of colors. The emotions and memories of previous years that they remind me of. I guess it's just one of those things you notice -- or you dont.

The Blue Glow

I absolutely love the way the sky is glowing in this picture. This gives me that cold winter's morning type of feeling which is my favorite time of year.

The Layered Fire

So for a sunset to look like this a few things have to happen. One is that the sun itself has to be covered up by clouds so it cant be seen. And another is to have clouds above it, so they reflect its rays. Its interesting that its so specific for this formation to occur but we find it occuring by random. It almost looks supernatural.

Up Ahead

So you might have noticed there were no pictures posted for about a month and a half. Vacation and school kept me busy. And also the thing with taking pictures of the sky is you only really have 3 chances a day. sunrise, afternoon, and sunset. so taking pictures needs time and patience because not everyday is as wonderful as the previous, some days are gorgeous and others just plain dull. It's part of the excitement you get when waking up, to see how the clouds are feeling that particular day.
