I take my vitamins, work out regularly, eat healthy and was still getting sick. I couldn't figure it out.
Why is my immune system still weak?

How to set up your Custom Domain Name to your Blogspot Blog

If you want to have your own personalized website name, also known as Domain Name, you need to purchase one. Please visit: How to Purchase your Domain Name

After you've purchased and forwarded your domain name, you now need to set your domain to your Blogspot Blog.

(Remember, if you have any problems, please phone Go Daddy Customer Service and they will walk you through setting up your domain)

There are two main parts to this guide:

How to set up your GoDaddy domain's settings
How to set up your Blogger's settings.

How to set up your GoDaddy settings:

1. Log into GoDaddy and go to Domains, My Domains.
2. Click on the domain that you want to use for your blog.
3. Find the "Total DNS Control and MX Records" link and click it.
4. Under the "Total DNS Control Panel," locate "CNAMES(Aliases)."
5. Click on the pencil icon to edit it.
6. Set it to these settings exactly: "Enter an Alias Name: www. "Points to Host Name: ghs.google.com" If you don't know what TTL is, just leave it at 1 hour.
7. Hit OK.
8. Now we need to go back to the previous screen, the one where you found "Total DNS Control and MX Records," but this time find "Forwarding:" and click on the link below it.
9. You will get a "Forward and Mask Domains" section pop-up at the top. Click on the "Forwarding" tab.
10. Check the "enable forwarding" box, enter your blog's url (www.blog.blogspot.com) into the "Forward to:" box, and finally, click/check the "301 Moved Permanently" radio button.
11. Now press the "Masking" tab.
12. Check the "Enable masking" box. You can leave everything else blank for now.
13. Finally, hit OK.
14. You're done with part one, time for part two.

How to set up your Blogger settings:
1. Log into Blogger, go to "Dashboard," pick a blog, and click "Settings."
2. Under the "Settings" tab, click the "Publishing" tab.
3. Find this: "Switch to: • Custom Domain (Point your own registered domain name to your blog)," and click on "Custom Domain."
4. Under the orange text that says "Buy a domain for your blog," look for "Already own a domain? Switch to advanced settings." It's on the right side. Click "advanced settings."
5. For your domain, enter your godaddy domain in the input box. It should include both the www. and the .com. An example would look like this: "www.domain.com"
6. Enter the word verification code, hit "Save Settings," and you're done!

If you did everything correctly, your domain name will now lead to your blog. (This may take up to 24 hours to take effect)

Because you followed the above steps, you won't have to worry about the error on Blogger , "Blogs may not be hosted at naked domains." error.

This is how to fix the "Blogs that may not be hosted at naked domains." error:
1. Log into GoDaddy and go to Domains and My Domains.
2. Click on the domain that you want to use for your blog.
3. Find the "Total DNS Control and MX Records" link and click it.
4. Under the "Total DNS Control Panel," locate "A (Host)."
5. Click on the pencil icon to edit it.
6. Set it as these settings exactly: "Host Name: @" and; "Points To IP Address: 64.202.189.170" Again, leave the TTL at 1 hour.
7. Hit OK, and you're done.

You don't need to set yhup your Blogger settings to redirect "domain.com" to "www.domain.com," GoDaddy will do it for you automatically.

If you're interested in having your own Personalized Website Name, also called a Domain Name, then you need to purchase a DOMAIN.

There are many websites where you can purchase a domain name. For this example, I explain step-by-step how to Purchase your domain through http://www.godaddy.com/

I want to purchase a domain name for my Organo Gold website because the website address they gave me is http://aprilficek.organogold.com/na/biz/ . This is way too long for anyone to remember, thus I chose to purchase a new website address.

Whether your purshasing a domain name for a website or blog, its the same steps outlined below.

First I go to http://www.godaddy.com/
Click on Domains, it’s a green tab. A screen will pop up asking you to enter a domain name. Type in a name you want and see if it’s available. They will tell you if it is or isn’t. You can tweak the name like I did.

I wanted HealthyCoffee.com but when I typed it in, Go Daddy stated that it was already taken,unless I wanted to pay $15,000 for it. Ya right!

Then I tried AntiAgingCoffee.com and this was also taken. I added(s) at the end of coffee and voila, my new domain now is http://www.antiagingcoffees.com/. This works perfectly and only costs me $10.00/year.

Go daddy will give you suggestions to purchase alternative domains such as site, biz, net, org, and ca, but remember .com is the most common so, keep it simple and stay with that. All those other ones are really not needed unless you want to name brand yourself, but seriously, do you ever type in .net? Save your money.

To purchase your domain

Click on the Add button
Click register
Click on one to five years (This dictates how much you want to pay now and for how long you want to keep your domain. Remember- If you chose one year, can renew every year.)

Don’t put in the nameservers, just dock the domain at Go Daddy and continue to the check out.

Put in your payment information and click to place your order

Once you’ve paid, you can:

Phone Go daddy customer Service at (480) 505-8877 to forward your domain to your website or blog
You can click on the domains tab, click on your new domain, then click forward.
Enter your original website address, in my case it would be http://aprilficek.organogold.com/na/biz/
Your DONE!

If you want to have a description and new title for each blogger post then you need to put in meta tags that tell Google this. Otherwise, you will find that every post has the same description.

To create your meta tags you First need to go the layout tab, then edit HTML. At the very top of your code, look for the Head section.

Copy my code below, put in your own appropriate key words, title, and decription meta tags.

Below is a cut and paste from my HTML Code. After lots of trial and error this code worked from me. The best advice is to copy your code, copy my code and view them side by side, see what you need to add then add it.

Meta Tags are a great way for you to provide search engines with information about your sites. Meta tags are added to the head section of your HTML code under the Layout tab.

Meta Tags are part of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) but a more important part are creating Back Links and Track Backs.

Be warned some websites state that Meta Tags are not required for Blogger since Blogger is part of Google. But instead of taking someone’s word, I went to Blogger help and they discussed how format Meta Tags into your Blogger HTML. Thus in my mind, if Blogger didn't require Meta Tags, they wouldn't tell you how to format it or where to put it.

So I’m here to tell you how to create Meta Tags for Blogger HTML.

Now there are lots of Meta Tag Builders/Generators but they aren’t required if you know the code, which I have provided below. Plus after reading Google Help, you really don’t need all those other Meta Tags like, Author, subtitle, language, etc.

Google requires title and description meta tags. Google doesn't use keywords but other search engines do so it doesn’t hurt to put it in.

How to be a great sales person vs average and How to Succeed in any Business

Ever notice that there are a lot of sales people out there? Has anyone ever stood out? Someone that even at this moment has left an impression on you? What was it about them that stood out?
Was it their personality? Was it being genuinely interested in you? Was it their charisma?
Yes, yes and probably Yes. Good salespeople do all the above.

But what makes some people successful and others not?

First ask yourself, do you like being sold to or do you like buying?
I know that seam like a funny question but think about this, people like to buy, not be sold to.
So how to these successful salespeople do this? You have to be the interviewer, not interviewee. You lead the conversation by asking open ended questions. Answer a question with a question.

People will buy something if they see value because they will always ask themselves this question, what's in it for me? So find out what's important to them by listening. I mean seriously listening.

Not listening is a big mistake average salespeople make. You have to effectively listen. What I mean is don't think about the next question while they are talking and don't interrupt them (people hate this). They will know if you're listening to them or thinking. Believe it or not it, it comes through. Make each conversation like it's the most important conversation you've ever had. Intently listen, be guanine and ask questions, you lead the conversation People will like you more if you let them talk about themselves. Everyone loves to talk about themselves. This builds a relationship.

To be succssful you must:

Find the hook (find out what's important)
Establish a relationship (ask about their lives)
Find out what's important to them (ask open ended questions)
Close by not spewing information about how your product is the best but instread tell them but what in it for them.
Put yourself in their shoes.

People will purchase your product and keep using if they find value it in.

And most importantly relax. Go into the conversation as if you're talking to your friends, not selling. Don't make selling important (even if your boss says) because people can feel your desperation and see that you're trying to hard and that they are just another sale to you.

If you look at a customer as your friend, talk to them and make them feel comfortable with you as you would your friends, then you will be successful.

To stand out from the rest, you need to think about someone who is a people person. Someone who has lots of friends and people love to hang out with.

So ask youself:
What makes them special/different?
What makes them successful in their jlives and jobs?
Why do they have so many friends?
Why do people want to hang out with them?

Do they stand out because:
Do they listen? Really listen to you?
Do they seam genuinely interested when you speak?
Do they interrupt or let you finish speaking?
Do they smile and are positive?
And most important, how do you feel after you've spoken to these people?
Good! Great!
Exactly. These shinning stars are your role models.

In closing, think about a bad experience. What made it so horrible? What made you uncomfortable? Remember these are things you don't want to do.

I always think of a car lot. You're swarmed by salespeople; it's like piranhas after the same piece of meat. People don't like to be pushed, don't like to be sold.

So relax, have fun and just have a conversation. If people like you and trust you they will be a customer with you for life!

How to create Title Tags in Blogger and How to Improve Your Goggle Ranking

The most important part of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is Title Tags.

Title Tags are the text that you see at the very top of your web page, usually in a blue heading.

Search engines weigh the importance of each word in the title from left to right. So to maximize your importance, you want your blog's post title to show on the left and your blog name on the right.

The problem with Blogger is that they don't automatically do this for you. If you look on the top blue bar of your web page, you will see your blog name first, then your post name. To fix this, we have to do some editing in your HTML so that your title will look like mine in the below example.

Click on Customize, in the top right corner.

Click on Layout then Edit HTML
Save Template- rename and place on your desktop so you can find it if needed. (If you ever had to reload your template, you can upload your template by clicking on the Browse Button)

Find the below code, it should be down 5-10 lines.

Replace the code with this:

Now save the file and your done!

Video is very important commonent to marketing your business plus getting more exposure on Google. There are many different places to make a video such as Youtube, facebook, etc. Try one from your computer webcame to get some experience like I did.

Not sure why its really graining quality.

The bigges part of creating a sucessful business is marketing yourself then your business. The reason I say you first is because you are your business, people like to buy not be sold. Thus give people something of value, something you can provide. One a relationship is established, and trust is gained, then market your business. The best way to market yourself is to be a specialist in a field. What I mean is to pick a subject, learn it, then teach it. Learning, training = something of value. Thus I'm teaching you how to promote your business.

In today’s techno world wide web world the difference sucessful business and a losing business is all about exposure and I’ll break it down for you.

1) Website

A website is a great way for exposure but also to market your product. You can either have an already created website for you or you can make one yourself.

To make things simple for myself, I started off with a pre-made one, later I'll create one and write a blog on it. I'll keep you posted. Below is a picture of my website.

(note: when posting pictures, name them accurately as google will search for them, more exposure for you. I named this on Max International Website.)

Ouch that’s a hard one to tell someone isn’t it?
So what I did was make an easier name to tell someone and by doing this I'm creating a brand name formyself like GAP. I created a brand by setting up a Domain Name through Godaddy, now my new webpage name is Maximizeyourlifenow.com/ (Maximize Your Life Now)
Ok I know its long but it summed up everything about what I’m trying to do here.

2) Blog

A BLOG is short for WEB-LOG. See Definition HERE. You should start a blog because its a great way for you to reach audiences and be a specialist. Here you can write, put in video's, pictures and more.

I started with a free service called Blooger.
I haven’t set up a Domain Name yet through Go daddy but I will once I get more of a feel of where my blog is going, currently its http://www.aprilficek.blogspot.com/

Other free Blog's are word press .com, .org costs you money and is really confusing. (its has a huge tutorial. I wouldn't reccommend this to start. Keep it simple chose a freebee then pay once your more experienced.)

Another one is through Myspace. There are many more you can Google to find more.

Oh and the most importantly part of a BLOG is to write original content. You will get followers based upon what you write so be yourself and don’t copy others. Trust me; self branding always works the best!

3) Social Media Networking

What’s that??? Software tools that allow groups to generate content and engage in peer-to-peer conversations and exchange of content (examples are YouTube, Flickr, Facebook, MySpace etc) definition from http://www.bottlepr.co.uk/glossary.html

Networking is sharing with other people and this is a great way to market your blog or webpage or your self. The really great thing about all these programs is that they all link together. So if you publish something on your blog, facebook and twitter will also post it, thus your blog is getting more views, more links and moving up in Google's ranking. This is a great way of branding your business and yourself.

The other thing you can do with Facebook is have two profiles: one for personal and one for group or business.

4) Networking to the extreme!
What??? Didn’t we talk about this in number three? Well this is one more step to further your networking.

Find others out there talking about the same stuff you are, selling similar products or have interests in your subject. Write comments on their blogs and leave your link. This is another way to get exposure to have fun!

The other important part of Networking is Backlinks. Backlines are an important part of Search Engine Optimization, eg. Google Ranking. For more information, click here.

I found on a website that Bolding and Italics help with google search thus I do it alot. Hey if it helps, why not right?

5)Video
Video is great for webpage exposure and its a great way to display information.
Google will rate your blog better if you have video so put a video in your blog.

Did you know that Youtube gets over 100 million views a day?

Places you can create, share and tag video for free are: Youtube, Metacafe, Dailymotion, etc. You can Google to find more.

If the product is made in a third world country how do you know what really is in it? And the fact that the websites claims that its all natural. How can it be all natural when it has drugs in it?

I’m very open minded, I will seriously try anything that I believe could help improve my quality of life. So when I saw this advertisement about how this lady from Saskatewan looked 10 years younger after taking two products, I was sold. I thought wow if I could look 10 years younger sign me up. But surprise, surprise the picture she posted on her blog is on other people’s blog’s, which tells me that the picture wasn’t her, it’s a company picture. Talk about false advertising.

All these blogs promote two products, Lift SP and Vital Rezv. They both promote a free trial. All you have to pay is shipping and handling then whamo, if you do not cancel within 14 days you will be charged, $79.95 for each product, every month, even if Health Canada confiscates the product, you still pay for it.

Oh and the real kicker of the day is that I found hundreds of products that advertise Resveratrol. They all advertise the same thing. Its like the power drinks, there are hundreds of the same type of energy drink just with different names.

Resveratrol Elite,Vital RezV, Resver XP, ResvPure, Res V, ResZ Max and the list goes on.

Now you have to ask yourself. Would you willingly ingest a product manufactured from a third world country? No Way!!!!! Seriously, imagine all the stuff that could be in it. Some kind of poison, someone's finger, hair, or worse bodily fluid? Who Knows? There is no quality control.

So be warned. Do your research!!!!!

I started this product a year ago when my husband’s 79 year old father was literally running circles around us. He didn’t have snoozes and stayed up late, we on other hand are in our 30’s and having afternoon naps and going to bed at 10pm waking up tied. I finally asked him what is he taking and he showed me.

The Crazy World We Live In

We are in a society that’s artificial. Everything we eat has preservatives, additives, chemicals and names that you can’t pronounce. We put all this garbage into our bodies and wonder why we don’t feel good. Why we feel tired and worn out. There is nothing natural in our foods any more, even our water is full of chemicals, it’s insane. To top it all off, when we feel off, we go to our doctor to fix the problem, prevention isn’t even in our vocabulary. You have a sneeze, you fix it, you have a sleeping problem, fix it and by golly the doctor waives his magic pen and gives you a prescription. Wow isn’t that amazing? The doctor can surpess all symptoms but not cure. The doctor can dull your pain but not take it away. The doctor can help with one problem but the prescription will give you another. Isn’t that great?

We are given prescriptions like candy and we take them believing they will help. Have you ever taken the time to read the side effects? Well here’s my latest prescription side effects: Nausea, vomiting, bone loss, stroke, heart attack, coughing up blood, severe abdominal pain, depression, suicidal thoughts, and trouble sleeping, just to name a few.
