Hey'all!

I have been seriously out bloggin for quite sometime now. Cause my work has been draining all up my energy. Since I had quit my job its more time for me, I wont think that this makes me extremely happy moreover I cant say that I hate it either

Well anyways, Im back to do more bloggin for everyone. And recently I have been online shopping most of the time on Instagram and yet I found some beauty products to try focusing on my face 😊.

And my recent haul was beauty products from Thailand but like Ive said I got into Online Shopping over Instagram.

Review: Essence Soft touch Mousse Make Up

Hey'all!!!

After 2 years of not bloggin, I'm pretty much getting back on the track. First off, this quick review of my new found foundation/concealer from Essence :)

Essence is a new brand for the Philippine make up junkies, well in fact this beand is well known to other countries thats why when I saw them on Watsons at SM Bicutan, I really took my time to memorize everything I saw and google it up :)

Furthermore, Essence is a makeup brand for teens especially beginners to make up. It claims to be made in Germany.

So without further a due, here is my review :) (and it rhymes)

What it looks on my face:
This was only with first layer of the make up. I didnt put a lot because it was freaking hot.

So this was the before on my right cheeks

What I like about this :
Affordable :) 16g for Php289.00
Reachable
Texture is so soft
Feels very light on the skin
Lasts a very long time if set in powder
My skin looks very flawless after I put it in even without powder foundation
Makes my skin tone even
The packaging is nice just dont drop it might break

What I dont like about this:
No ingredients at the back
Glass jar makes me nervous that I might drop it and it would break
I think it kinda breaks me out. But not pretty sure because of the weather and my working conditions

All in all, Its a so-so product for me. I'll try to experiment with it regards to the breaking out issues. I still need to figure out why am I am breaking out so bad these days and I hope this is not the culprit.

This is a late post sorry guys! Well anyways here it is..

Me and my friend Rose went to Coron, Palawan last March 5-9, 2012 I know this is super outdated post but I still want to share it with you guys :) It was a decent trip especially that it was a treat for my birthday last March 2 and also t was my first time to ride a plane and it was really exciting and nerve breaking at the same time

I was so disappointed because my camera's memory card was corrupted! I see my photo's preview but when I put the memory card it has no memory of the photos I have taken! It was really frustrating because I cant restore the images. Grr!! I hate that memory card! Every time I used it it never works so I grabbed Rose's photo.

FIRST DAY:

We arrived at Busuangga Airport at exactly 10:40am and we were picked up by a van from Mommita's for free :) it was an hour drive from the airport to Mommita's and the drive was not bumpy and we were caught by a light traffic of Cows, Yeah you read it right COWS. I guess the Busuangga airport is newly built because it has a really short runway that's not enought for the big planes to take off it even looks like a parking lot of not more than 300 cars. Hence, the airplane you will be riding is also small because big airplanes will cause a lot of space at the runway leaving small airplanes on the circling on the sky waiting for it to take off.

We lodged at Mommita's Place and I think our room was Php700(Green Room) per night we had TV, Aircon, Doubles-sized bed and a fan our room was not that big but roomy for the both of us but we use public toilet. It is alright for us because most of the other rooms has their own bathroom and some even had 3 beds of course it will cost higher :) I really wanted you guys to see our room but because of that dilemma caused by my memory card I will just described it to you. We had ocean painted walls with different kinds of fishes it was really nice it gives that fun happy feeling when I see our room.

The owner of the lodging house is Mommita and she is very kind she treated us like we are her own daughters gave us tips about island hopping, where we should go first and where we shouldn't go and her brother-in-law is the one who cooks. They serve Breakfast and Dinner only because most of the time we are out and the island hopping package already has free lunch and you can suggest what you want to eat isn't great? Mommita's place is very convenient because if you go out of the lodging house you could see drugstore at the left, the market place and the harbor on the right and a lot of great restaurants around them. Mommita will suggest you restaurants if you want to eat outside

It's like our own vacation house we had Motorcyle service from kuya kong (driver) from Mommita too. If you are going to Coron I recommend you to stay there. Here's their website http://mommitaslodge.jimdo.com/

We went to Binalot(restaurant) for our lunch Mommita suggested we try their food there and go to Kabu Beach it was a 20 minute ride via Motorcycle (I had no pictures recovered because Rose didn't bring her camera because I brought mine) But here's one from Mommita's Website hehe!

KABU BEACH

Only 20 minutes by motorcycle from the town center, these is serene getaway, perfect for a day spent lazing under the sun, with refreshing views of Coron Island Ancestral Domain.

After Kabu Beach we went to Maqinit Hot spring at 4pm it was a 15 minute ride from Kabu Beach. I really loved in here it was so beautiful there, the hotspring was surrounded by mangrove trees and the ocean. Sometimes, if the waves are too big, they will enter the hot spring :)

MAQINIT HOT SPRINGS

the blissfully warm and salty waters of the spring provides a soothing counterpoint to frenzy of activities you may had. Just take a dip and relax in its healing waters. with a temperature ranging from 38 to 41 degrees Celsius, Maquinit’s waters are very relaxing and therapeutically. It is the perfect place to go after a day of trekking and snorkeling. It has a flow output of 85 liters/second or a whopping 5115 liter/minute! It is unique because unlike other hot springs, its waters are salty with a slight sulphuric content. In addition, the algae that grow on its pools walls contain spirulina.

After Maqinit Hot spring we went to Mommita's to take a bath at 5:30 and after we ate our dinner 3 viand(fish, lobster and pancit) and a dessert(canned Peaches)! at 7:30pm we went to the market just for fun because it was still early and Mommita wanted us to go there. We were even accompanied by one of Mommita's helper(ate cristine), but we asked her if she would just drop us there and give us directions back to Mommita's because we didn't want to bore her out and feel out of place and also we assumed that she was already tired because of house works back at the lodge. The Market was well lit and had a lot of food if we weren't full we had a nice food trip over the market they even sell fishballs and ihaw-ihaw! I love it! There were no suspicious emblems there were many tourist foreign and filipino. There were gift shops, Souvenir Shops stalls like at Divisoria which sells Sun Hats, Sun Glasses even Swimwear! I was totally surprised of course the market sold fresh fish, meat, vegetables and fruits. We had a really nice walk over the Market it was a really fun experience I feel so Independent that time hahaha.(Sorry no pictures)

SECOND DAY:

At 5am we walked up to Mount Tapyas, we asked Ate Cristine for directions but she accompanied us from Mommita's to the short cut. Mount Tapyas was really high! I had a terrible cold and cough when we arrived Coron. but my excessive panting from climbing the stairs really got it off it was 1300 steps and believe me the steps were half a foot tall! The climb was not that easy at all I even felt that I cannot climb anymore because I'm having a little trouble breathing because of my clogged nose. But when I stared at the tip I always say to myself that I can do it and I was fooling myself that I'm close to the top hehe until I reached the top of course Rose was also there to give her moral support and we were trying to reach the top before sunrise, So it was also time pressure at the same time. But when we reached the top I was really, really amazed how beautiful Coron was.

And then By 7am we went down and had our breakfast at Coron Breakfast Central, you gotta try their Beef Omelet it is crazy good! After eating it I decided that I would eat this for breakfast for tomorrow! I really loved the flavor of Beef mixed with different kinds of vegetables on an egg! It had onions, green and red bell pepper, and tomatoes which was my all time favorite! When I tasted it I carefully remembered whats in it so that I can cook it at home :) Then, after eating we went to Mommita's because we are going to be fetched by our tourist guide and also the boat operator at 8am for Island Hopping.

at 10:30 we left the beautiful Malcapuya beach and headed to Banana Island where we're going to have our Lunch :)

We asked our Boat operator/ Tourist Kuya Mac if we could stay for a bit longer here and shorter for the next two beaches because for every beach we will only spend 1 hour the most to get on schedule because the boat rides will took 1 hour long and 30 minutes at least. So if we are not going to stick on the schedule, we will running out of time for other beaches to visit.

After we ate I asked Rose if we can snorkel there but she wasn't so sure so we asked kuya Mac and yey! they had it for free

Next stop, Atwayan Beach we skipped CYC because our boatmates gone already went there yesterday:

We didn't stay there for long only 30 minutes because the waves are becoming bigger Kuya Mac decided to get us back to the harbor safely.While we are on our way to the Harbor, Kuya Mac handed us merienda its like Suman but it was grilled and I forgot what its called but it sounded like Suman.

After almost two hours of boat ride we head back to Mommita's (5:30) to take a bath and rested a little bit for 2 hours and ate dinner at Lolong's Grill (at the back of the lodge) and ate chicken Cordon Bleu and Tapsilog for rose for our dinner. After that I bought Rose painkillers because she had muscle cramps from snorkeling. I guess that she didn't stretch and she is not fond of swimming for too long. We head back at Mommita's at 9pm and I forgot to load so I was getting my slippers when Mommita told one of her helpers to load for me because it was already late I was shocked and touched at the same time because I didn't expect Mommita to do that I was like home and Mommita was my mom.and so there I rested beside Rose and fell asleep :) Of course I didn't forget to thank Ate and Mommita for that gesture.

Third Day:

Because we slept early of course we woke up early as well. And I asked Rose if we can eat again to CBC and eat my new favorite Beef Omelet :)

After we ate, we went to the harbor and met our new boatmates and Athea (the boat) and I am ver excited because we are heading towards lakes today :0

FIRST STOP: Twin Laggon

I loved it in here we had to swim to get there. I removed my vest because I really wanted to swim. What I did was I tied my slippers at the other end while my snorkels on the other end. because I had my camera on my other hand to take pictures and my other to swim.

We had a little accident where Rose accidentally forgot to remove her glasses and completely forgot that she wore it I just asked her if where did her glasses went and she was like shocked and don't know what to do at the same time and we are way behind because we are going to our next stop already. And Kuya Mac asked us if what is wrong and we told him what happened and then he dived and saw Rose's glasses and we were like celebrating that time and we were asked by Kuya Mac if we could swim faster because they were waiting for us. Because of Rose's shoulder pains I dragged her while I was swimming and she was like so relaxed while I was swimming for the both of us and when we got to the dock our boatmates asked if what took us for so long and we shared the story on the boat while going to our next destination :)

FOURTH DAY:

this was our souvernir buying day din't took any pictures because we're too busy buying haha! :) and our minds were boggled by the choosing of best souvenirs :) the gift shop was introduced to us by Mammita as well :)

FIFTH DAY:

was our last morning :( was so sad about it thou I was fulfilled at the same time :)

Hey Hey Hey!! Wassup guys!

Yesterday was my off so I got the chance to go out and finish my requirements (SSS number and Brgy. ID) just comment below if you want to know how to get one :)

Anywho! When I was about to go home I felt somewhat like I need to find a wash room to freshen up and to reduce the toxic water from my bladder :0 Then I saw Starmall at Alabang and I was like, "I'm very sure that they have what I really need!"

And So, I was in search for the nearest restroom where I saw this shop not so far from the entrance I got in to. I was really intrigued but then I neglected it cause I really have to go.. But when I was on my way home I stopped by to check their stuffs ^^ (didn't took pictures of the Store)

The store had lots and lots of stuffs! anything Girly were there besides clothes and bags where there! accessories, undergarments, make-up, headbands, socks, pouch,nail colors, almost everything! I wish I had my samsung with me so that I could take you some pictures >.<

I was intrigued by this mascara so I handed this over in replace to a false eyelashes which takes time to remove >,< and it surprisingly failed the waterproofiness which I was really hoping that it would be. : (

I love how it lengthens my lashes and all but I seriously hate it because its waterproof power died when sprayed my lower lash line with water! it gave me an instant panda eyes! and it didn't holds curls and it takes time to dry :( boo!!

Well Anywaayyss.. Today I am going to give you a quick review about this Professional Touch Salon Styling Mousse

Looks very Promising right? But Gals, Don't be fall for its Black and Pink Packaging
and its uberly cheap price and the product claims that it was made in ENGLAND, even I was very hesitant in buying this product because I haven't read any reviews about it, I still bought it out of curiosity.

What the Product looks like:

REVIEW:

I have used this when I was at my cousin's wedding. After I took a bath at night I foamed my hair with this stuff before I put on rollers and as soon I wake up in the morning, ate my breakfast, took a shower(of course I didn't wet my hair), fix my face and then removed it I was like WOW! it really holds curls and it doesn't look like I put a lot of mousse it didn't get me the "WET LOOK" which I really hate when it comes to hair products because I don't like the eeky feeling and the dirt sticking on my hair and all.But after a few minutes the curls began to loosen and made my hair really dry. Maybe because it had a lot of alcohol in it.

OVERALL RATING:

Cons:

*very watery after the bubbles on the foam subside its like you didn't put any

*didn't help my curls stay!

*too much alcohol content therefore it will make your hair really DRY as in SUPER just like it did to my hair!

*must put a lot of product to the hair for it to curl. its like 1 inch of hair= palm full of hair mousse! its a waste!

*didn't volumize my hair

*did break its "EXTRA STRONG HOLD" promises

THIS PRODUCT IS A TOTAL FAIL on my rebonded hair I had a lot of complains about this product. letting my hair dried in rollers gave me much better results than this. I had read some reviews about it and I read some positive nad negative feedbacks about this bad baby

Acne Journal: Day 40

Yey! Another 8 days had past and write to my Acne Journal! I really enjoy sharing my acne journal to everyone.

Here's my clearing up face :)

Sorry for the uneven brows! I accidentally shaved it unevenly screw me! I will just wait it to regrow

What I've been doing:

*make sure you change your pillow cases every week :)
* sticking to Acne soap, Clarifying Lotion , Differin (at night) and Garnier Light complete Cream regimen (I don't use Clindamycin because it reacts to Salicylic Acid which is present on Garnier Light Complete Cream)
* avoiding fried and preserved foods but I still eat some
* Always clean your brushes after you use it especially the ones you frequently use
* avoid touching your face
*wipe your face immediately if your sweating

And that's it! I went to a Dermatologist ONCE but see the result :) No new breakouts for me YEY! If you have serious breakouts like I did go immediately to a Dermatologist and the best you can find are ones in the hospital or ask friends and/or relatives that might have the same acne problem but has been resolved by an expert. Don't medicate yourself because your breakouts might get worse like I did. I really regret not going to a Dermatologist when I had breakouts shouldn't got worse if I went earlier PLUS I didn't bought a lot of products that didn't work for me that cost a lot of money and time.

REVIEW: Maybelline Pure Makeup Foundation in Nude (Light 04)

If you have been reading my blog post you already know that I've been winning auctions in Facebook and yesterday, the my prizes came!

The Parcel includes Maybelline Pure Makeup Foundation, Maybelline Mineral Power concealer and a L'Oreal Auto lip pencil in nude.

And my winning bet was only Php100 for the Foundation and the Lip pencil while the concealer was sold for Php140 because the online shop was also on sale at the same time so I grabbed the chance because I really wanted to buy concealer for my super visible acne scars and of course, I'm really careful in choosing products that I would put on my face. I don't want to have breakouts all over again.

Today, I'm going to review the Maybelline Pure Makeup Foundation that looks like this:

by the way I'm a NC25 in MAC. Actually I don't own one but I went to one of their stalls (the one at Rockwell) and found out that that was my shade because I was really curios and most of the reviewers always use MAC for references :)

I always see to it that the products that I put on my face will include a "won't clog pores" or "non-comedogenic" which by the way means the same

the shade was a little dark on me but still blends well so it's okay for me

TEST TIME:
Concealness

say Hello to my ugly pimple scars

with one layer

with 3 layers as you can see its a little darker on me or its just too yellow on me but I don't mind because will just use some powder but not today because I want to test the product's reaction on my skin alone

I have put this only on the left side of my face and as you can see it blended well even without any setting powder or whatsoever

OVERALL RATING:

Pros:

*it really is water soluble can be washed with water alone

*has buildable coverage which is great :)

* blends in my skin quite well

* doesn't have that cosmetic scent

*doesn't sit into my pores

*gives you a really nice powdery feeling

Cons:

* doesn't give keep its promise that you will be SHINE FREE

* makes my face oily 2 hours after I used it

* no SPF :(

REVIEW: Maybelline Mineral Power Concealer in Cream

Yes, I am back for another review! Maybelline's Mineral Power Concealer in Cream which I bought for Php150 or $3 together with another products that I've won in an auction AGAIN which includes Maybelline Pure Makeup and a L'oreal Auto lip pencil in nude! for Php100. Isn't it cheap! The concealer that I bought was on sale Online because if I will buy this at Watsons it will cost me Php499 or $10 more or less.

Here's my review:

Has a Doe foot applicator which is alright for me :)

* not that opaque enough to completely conceal my acne scars with one layer

REVIEW: 4u2 Dream Girls Lovelight BB powder in 02

I've been in search for a great drugstore foundation and when I saw Say (makeup by Say Tioco Artillero) raved about this I went over to Watsons at SM Bicutan but it was out of stock but fortunately when I went there today it was back on stock so grabbed immediately the 02 just like the Say's I guess we share the same shade that's why I always look at her foundation reviews because its very accessible and I know what color to pick hehe :)

Anyways, here it is!

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

I was so scared to but this in number 02 because there were no tester and it looks very dark on the pan but when I got home it blended like a dream!

such a small compact powder :)

I love products that has manufacturing date and expiration date :)

COVERAGE

I drew this black and red dots just like my blemishes :)

What it looks on my face:

Great coverage for a powder alone right? But what I don't like about the packaging is that the sponge doesn't have a divider and I don't like it when the sponge is soaked on the pan for hygenic purposes and not too much product will transfer to the sponge :)

But here's what I did for that simple problem:

1) Do not throw the plastic packaging of the powder

2) Cut one part of the plastic packaging

3) Measure the pan and cut away :) be careful because the plastic is a little sturdy

FINISHED!

Now for the review:

OVERALL RATING:
Pros:
* very affordable
*accessible at any 4U2 Stalls
* buildable coverage without being cakey
*convenient packaging because its small and plastic making it travel friendly
*no cosmetic smell at all
*gives a nice silky finish but its more like a creamy finish but not sticky(sorry I can't give an exact feeling)
* controls oil too I needed to powder once every 5 hours :)

Con:
* can't think of any! I just love it!

REVIEW: Avon Minerals Blush in Radiance

I got this blush form my friend since I was in college and I still can't believe that its still alive! I still use this from time to time but I know that its almost 2 years from now since I got this for Php150. My friend sold it to me because she said that it was too light for her complexion to show

When I was at SM Bicutan running around my errands, I saw this on sale at watsons 50% off! I swatched it immediately on the back of my hand and I was in love with it I bought it for Php84 as I remembered correctly.

I got this from an auction and this came on a set which includes L'Oreal HiP Lipgloss and Rimmel Extra

Super Lash Mascara for Php 170 + Php 40 Shipping fee and it was a great steal because the mascara sells at Php150(USD 2) on most online shops here in the Philippines, the lipgloss sells at $12 or Php 585 at SM and this eye shadow retails for Php396 or $9 and Php100-250at online shops in the Philippines as well.

REVIEW: L'Oreal HiP Color Presso Lip Gloss in Classy

I have a lot Lip products and my most Go-to products are Lipgloss. Of course, we shold be aware that Lipgloss can cause Lip cancer because it refracts the sunlight to our lips just like a magnifying glass would fire up a leaf by itself, So be always careful in using products you put on your face.

I have this L'Oreal HiP Color Presso in Classy in a set together with Rimmel Extra Super Lash mascara and L'Oreal Paris, Bare Naturale, Gentle Mineral Eye Shadow because I won in an auction YEY! all for 170 Php plus Php 40 for the shipping fee. The Lipgloss would normally retail for Php585 or USD 12 at any L'Oreal Stall in SM.

The upper has no gloss so you can see the difference :)

OVERALL RATING:

Pros:

* not sticky when applied on the lips

*gives nice amount of gloss not SHINE

* has mild candy scent which I love

* last mmidday

Con:

* not pigmented as I was hoping it to be

Last Thursday, I bid in an auction and I won! haha!! I won a set of Rimmel mascara, eyeshadow and lipgloss from L'Oreal all for only Php170(USD 5 at most) isn't that a great Steal?and the Host was really sweet to give me a Hello Kitty Mosquito Repellent Bracelet So Cute!

Today I'm going to review the Rimmel London's Extra Super Lash Mascara regularly priced for Php 150 or 3 USD here in the Philippines. Before I bid I always see to it that I had read some reviews about the product. I read that this product is awesome except the fact that its not waterproof (from Makeupalley)

ACNE JOURNAL: Day 32

Hello Guys! Im very happy to tell you that since last week I didn't get new breakouts and no new bumps this week! Cheers to that :)

My Daily Routine is wake up in the morning to prepare my nieces to school then I do some household chores, clean hamsters' cage and then start my regimen for the face. In the morning, I wash my hands first with anti-bacterial soap and then wash my face with the Acne Bar soap with tretinoin. Then, I use first the Clarifying Lotion that my derma gave me after that I put Clindamycin and then I put Pond's White Beauty only where are acne scars are seen I don't wanna put it on my entire face because I prefer spot treatment :)

the redness in my nose is a scratch from my growing nails! I told you I have the tendency to hurt myself unconsciously when I have longer nails

Left cheek

right cheek

look at my Clarifying Lotion and Clindamycin its almost emty! but its okay it served me for 1 month and a day for now. I think it will last for a week

I'm really happy and confident that I'm having a clearer complexion again. Even my friends and relatives are seeing alot of difference before I went to the derma and Im really Happy that I did instead of everyday searching for expensive and inexpensive even home made products that would hopefully cure my acne.

I only had one regret and that is I should have gone to the derma straight away as I had breakouts rather than being myself doctor . The waste of money and time in experimenting a lot of products that promised to clear my skin but didn't. and mostly, my hopes to the products that didn't work as fast as this was the most unhealthy feeling, the feeling of helplessness and breakouts eating your self-esteem. I know that you are familiar with that feeling.

I hope that everyone would read my Acne Journal to help themselves or to be a reminder that going to the Derma isn't expensive because it was completely worth the try and there is no false promises because they only promise is that they will surely help your skin condition even if how bad it is. If you don't know where the place to go check your local hospitals, I'm sure that you can find legit Dermatologists there but its cheaper to visit clinics and much accessible than the hospital (no very long patient queues and no super busy Dermatologists).

My Visit to the Derma cost me Php 2500 included the Acnesurgery, 5 prescibed products and the Php 350 check up fee all in 2 hours. Unlike before I was like researching the net the whole day, next day watch youtubers and read alot of reviews, the next day finding the products that I've read about spending thousands of Philipine peso to some product that I don't know if would work for me. See the Efforts and the time wasted? Don't just walk on your own there are people specialized to solve your skin problems okay :) Don't buy those cheap products even if it is cheap you still don't know what will happen

DO NOT GAMBLE YOUR HEALTH GUYS ^^

Yesterday, me and my family should've watched the Amazing Spiderman of course because of the undeniably overcrowded cinema we didn't watch its full house! every single Glorietta cinema from 1-7 its all out! the upper has peachy color with golden and the one with the primer (lower) looks like a baby pink with less shimmer.

I used this today (July 1,2012) to give it a try because I was going to church. I was really impressed because I didn't oil up and my foundation stayed even if I continuously pat my face with a handkerchief because I was sweating. Upon application, I was shocked because it make my face really smooth and left a silky feel. Its like I've put flour on my face

I was so intrigued by this product because I have been using its oil version that sadly overused by my niece that is why I came to try this because the oil one is great! Actually this is Made from Korea but the products used is from Japan (for those who are confused)
