New Wedding Album for Sabrina + Geoff!

Just delivered this gorgeous wedding album to Sabrina and Geoff Schultz, who were married last September at Wiens Family Cellars. This album is 14×11 flush mount album with thin pages (allowing for a very thin crease between pages!) and features an elegantly “bridal white” patterned leather called Chyna as the main cover material with a deep purple suede called Queen For A Day as an accent stripe to match Sabrina and Geoff’s wedding colors.

Love-Love-Love it when our clients opt for unexpected color and texture combinations!!

This one is truly one of a kind.

Jennifer + Anthony : Wilson Creek Winery Wedding

On April 12th, we were at Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula to document the wedding of Jennifer Trevino and Anthony Perez. We last saw Jennifer and Anthony here almost a year ago to photograph their Engagement Portrait session. That time, the weather was hot and blazing sun. This time, the weather was quite a bit nicer for their wedding day — scattered clouds and mild temperatures. Perfect!

Both Jennifer and Anthony were smiling and laughing all day. Even as we first arrived, any pre-ceremony nerves seemed absent as they were each getting ready.

The ceremony was very short and sweet. The formal portraits had some entertaining moments as the Wilson family dogs were running around in the background trying to be photo bombers! And, the Portrait Station was a hit (as usual) during the reception. All in all, it was a really fun day for all.

Gabrielle + Mark : Bear Creek Golf Club Wedding

On April 13th, we were at the Bear Creek Golf Club in Murrieta to document the wedding of Gabrielle Perea and Mark Cowett.

We had just photographed their Engagement Portrait Session six weeks earlier, where they first demonstrated their fondness for retro/vintage looks as well as their playful sense of humor. It was no different on the wedding day as there were lots of laughs and fun the whole day.

Maegan + Steven : Pala Mesa Wedding

On April 5th, I was back at the beautiful Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook with my second-shooter/assistant, Shillawna, to photograph the wedding of Meagan Smith and Steven Young.

Like us, Maegan and Steven are dog lovers. So much so, that their dog was their Ring Bearer for the ceremony! And he did a great job, running up the aisle on queue (the queue was Steven squeezing a squeaky dog toy). I’ve seen some three year-old human Ring Bearers in the past that may have benefited from a squeaky toy to help them find their destination! Ha ha!

The night was full of laughs and tears (of joy) and concluded with a bright sparkler tunnel for the newlyweds to exit the party through — but not before pausing for one last embrace and kiss for the crowd.

Britney + James Engagement : Murrieta / Temecula

Two of my personal favorite local hot spots for photographing engagement portrait sessions are this woodsy park in Murrieta and in Old Town Temecula. When we were discussing location ideas with Britney Meadows and James Thom, they loved both locations. And, why chose when we can do both!

So, on April 6th we met up with them at the park for the first half of their “split” session, followed by a visit to Old Town Temecula for even more photo fun!

Britney and James were such a naturally affectionate couple that I gave almost no direction during the shoot short of “just stand over there and act like you love each other”. They did the rest. It was a really fun time.

I look forward to photographing their wedding on October 12th at Falkner Winery in Temecula.

Gabrielle + Mark : Murrieta Park Engagement

Our first engagement session of 2013! Gabrielle Perea and Mark Cowett came to us as a last minute booking. When their previous wedding photographer had to back out, they started Googling like crazy, found us, and luckily, we were still available for their date! With the wedding day only 6 weeks away, we really had to move fast in order to get their engagement session done in time to ensure delivery of prints and an engagement book. We quickly scheduled for our favorite park location and lucked out with really awesome weather.

Gabrielle wanted to put a little retro flair into their pictures, so she donned a cute vintage inspired polka dot dress with big heels and red, red lips. Mark wore his military dress uniform and the couple relaxed picnic-style with some old fashioned bottles of coke! (Gabrielle cued us in that her mom is going to flip when she sees these pictures, since her mom is an avid Classic Coca-Cola memorabilia collector!) We are loving the vintage vibe and are excited to share the end result!

Gabrielle and Mark were such a fun and easy going couple to work with…we look forward to the wedding next month!

She couldn’t wait because his birthday was a couple weeks before Valentine’s Day. Nicole + Nate : Murrieta Park & Old Town Temecula Engagement

On Saturday December 15, 2012 we photographed an engagement session with Nicole Cannizzaro and Nathan Ring.

Nicole and Nate, both residents of Vegas, had made the trek down to Temecula just for this session, despite some pretty rainy weather. We’d known that weather might be a concern, so we’d reserved the entire weekend just for them, just in case. And, it’s a good thing, too! We’d originally planned the shoot for Sunday. But, after reading the forecast, we did a last minute switch to hold the session on Saturday instead. Sure enough, it rained pretty hard on Friday and on Sunday! But, not a drop seemed to fall on Saturday! So, we really lucked out with Saturday being such a beautiful, harmonious day.

To make the most of their trip, Nicole and Nate booked a split-session with us. We started out earlier in the day, photographing for about 40 minutes at our favorite Murrieta Park. Nicole and Nate had chosen this location in order to take advantage of the last remnants of the golden fall foliage, important to Nate as it reminded him of weather back home where he’d grown up in Michigan. Then, after a break for lunch and a change of clothes, we picked up Nicole and Nate at their hotel and headed to Old Town Temecula to finish up, hitting all of our favorite spots and backdrops that are so uniquely “Old Town”. And, we had such a blast! These two are so much fun to be around. We’re really looking forward to their wedding this September 28th!
