Baby Gagoo children’s clothing was founded by Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo (of Beverly Hills 90210, and General Hospital fame) and her family, this year. The launch event, which I attended with my husband, was held in Malibu in April 2012. “The family is dedicated to sharing proceeds and inspirational life lessons with children in need.” One of these charities is Nkosi’s Haven, a residential care center in Johannesberg, South Africa that shelters women and children infected with HIV/AIDS.

The children’s clothing which was modeled by children walking around at the launch is comfort-wear with an edge, the incredibly soft looking hoodies, fleeces, baggy pants and comfy rompers.

My favorite part about being female is the excuse to take care of my skin. I love skin care, seriously. It’s fun to primp and pamper, and when you see the results, it’s oh-so-worth it. At least to me.

I am getting up there in age, and I am very concerned about looking younger, or at least maintaining great looking skin. I look high and low for great products that do the trick. Many products boast results, but not all actually deliver what they claim to provide for your skin.

Amanda Lacey is a most reliable line. I use their skin care products and have been very happy with what they have done for my skin. A big concern of mine right now is eye care, because fine lines find themselves around the eyes, the skin there is quite delicate, and squinting in the So Cal sun make my eyes succeptible to this; not to mention I am not getting any younger.

Amanda Lacey’s Illuminating Eye Gel keeps my skin moisturized and supple and keeps the lines and wrinkles that I am certain would otherwise find their way there, away! Another great benefit of this product is that it brightens the eye area, and if I’m tired you can’t tell! I find that as a busy mother with a toddler, who is constantly on the go, that’s an enormous benefit.

These products, when compared to other department store brands, are well worth their price; in my opinion, many other brands do less than the Amanda Lacey line and often cost a lot more. In other words, they are priced right. I can’t say enough good things about the line.

Well, I have great news. Lisette L – these pants will amaze you. They look terrific, are very stylish and a great fit, but with the comfort. They slip on (literally) no buttoning or zipping required, no harsh seams, they fit so well. The perfect, easy fit. I am in love.

I wore them to work, I work in an office and dress appropriately. I have gotten so many compliments on these pants. No one can see, or dream by looking at them, that they slip on. They look like your standard, dress pants, but they aren’t.

So, just as I thought she would, she looooved this pink tool set. She was playing with it earlier this evening “nailing” things to the wall, hammering away. She’s in heaven with these girly tools.

I chose this toy for her because she always asks for tool sets when we are shopping and I just didn’t want to buy her those boyish sets, come Cow & Lizard, they actually sold a pink one! I would like to share a little more, I’ll tell you that the book  is hard to put down, although I had to because a 3 year old demands my attention, needs to be fed, bathed, and put to bed. I did manage to read it in a relatively short amount of time, it kept me wanting more.

The author is a retail fashion veteran “with a taste for murder” (this from Amazon.com as well). The plot is laced with romance and a lot of mystery. The way the story unravels isn’t exactly what you might expect and there are some interesting twists to how the end finally pans out. It keeps you at the edge of your seat. I love the description of clothes in this book, like I said to begin with, if you love fashion, pick this up!
