It was an amazing day.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I started her off with breakfast in bed, and gifts from the girls and I. The girls bought her crafts that they can do together and spend time with her. Bree picked out some glass pieces to paint. Georgia picked out a pottery set to make pottery and then decorate it. Together they are going to create a message boars with a mirror. I bought her a spa pass to a place she loves to get mani-pedis at. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We also had some family and friends over. I grilled some amazing food. I'm a charcoal kind of guy and just love to slow it down and grill. Mindy loves grilled onions so I made her a bunch of those too for her turkey burger. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It was funny because she loves Basken Robbins ice cream cakes. So I bought a little oreo one and a big one of the kind she loves with the mint chocolate chip and cake. I brought out the small one first to make her think I got the wrong kind. She actually whispered to her sister "he got the wrong kind" when I turned my back. I caught her but returned to the freezer with a huge cake of the one she wanted. It as great to see how happy she was with the day. I'm so lucky to have such an amazing wife. She is everything to me and I loved getting to pamper her today.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Breakfast: OJ, everything bagel, 2 pieces of bacon, poached egg.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Lunch: Bowl of cereal, then went with my beautiful wife to in and out for her birthday lunch. We split some animal fries.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dinner: hot link sausage, two slider patties and a buns, ice cream cake from BR. Couple of small cups of cream soda. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For how much amazing food was available that I grilled I'm really proud of myself.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

With my lack of holding myself accountable I didn't make it. I'm actually back up to 260.&lt;br /&gt;

Banana, watermelon this is all I ate until dinner.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dinner: bertoli chicken pasta, three small pieces of garlic bread. Then I ate one of my daughters small pieces of pizza and their garlic bread crust. OJ&lt;br /&gt;

Dinner: chicken and vegetable stir-fry&lt;br /&gt;

I weighed in at 259lbs the same weight as when I left. It was actually quite an accomplishment to not gain any more weight with all the holiday treats. I'm a disappointed in myself though.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
My youngest daughter is diabetic so we measure pretty much everything she eats so we know the right amount of carbs to give her. This morning I measured out my cereal for the recommended serving size of 3/4 cup. This fit in a tiny bowl that is 1/4 the size of my normal breakfast cereal portion. Quite shocking but if I do eat cereal I now have bowl to use. I wish companies that do advertising for cereal would show you in the commercial how much you should really eat.... Oh wait we live in America home of the Brave and fat!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Breakfast: small bowl of cereal w/fat free milk.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Lunch: Fiberone granola bar, Oreo's and milk. (I had to get the Oreo's out of my house and couldn't bring myself to throw them away)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dinner: two eggs breakfast burrito and a handful of M&amp;M's. (Mindy bought a automatic dispenser for Christmas and my dumb self filled it with Peanut M&amp;M's)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I took the girls to the park and we played tag for a few minutes. I also did my shake weight exercise.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

I'm sure I didn't lose 9 pounds but I'm confident I didn't gain 9 pounds either. I'm going to weigh in a few days. I drove home last night. Normally I eat a ton of junk food driving for over 10 hours but last night I did pretty good. Other than taxing Georgia a doughnut for opening her package. I did have a lot of sunflower seeds, jerky, 4 monster drinks and 3/5 hour energy drinks to stay awake.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Breakfast:(11:30am) CrispX cereal w/fat free milk.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Lunch: Fiberone bar&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dinner: tonight we ate at Mindy's parents. I'm so glad I don't live there anymore or else I would be bigger than I am now. The food is amazing and there is always so much. Tonight I had meatballs and sausage with this polish pasta thing. I can't remember what it is called but it has cheese and potatoes inside a big ravioli. I ate to many of then. They are really good. At least I didn't eat any desert or drink any soda. I also had some peppers and cucumbers. &lt;br /&gt;

It's good to be back home.&lt;br /&gt;

Since there hasn't been any snow this whole trip we decided to go to the mountains to find snow. We went up past Warm River to sled and build a snowman. The place that once was wide open sledding area was all grown in with fresh pines. It sure was different than I remember 15 years ago. Plus the snow level wasn't all that high. I went sledding with my daughters and ran up and down the hill so each of them would get a turn ridding down with me. We also built a snowman that was about a foot taller than me. The mid-section was rolled to big by me so it ended up being the base. That meant the original base was now the mid-section. It must have been funny trying to watch Mindy, Grandpa, and I lift it up there. We had to shape a ramp with snow and roll it up because it was way to big to lift. All in all we had a fun day and the girls finally got to play in the snow. More importantly for them they found all the clean snow they could eat!&lt;br /&gt;

Lunch: chili, w/fritos, sour cream and cheese&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Snack: coconut cookies&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dinner: potato skins left over from my girls baked potatoes and chili on top. I also ate a couple more cookies.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Overall it was a great day with the fam!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I hate when I eat sugar because I just want more sugar. Snack: Christmas Carmel's, cheese stick&lt;br /&gt;

Lunch: turkey sandwich with onions, tomatoes and pickles,&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Snack: small bag or popcorn and diet soda at the movies. I went to War Horse with my mother and it was really good.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dinner: wrap from Arby's, I didn't make it a combo so I just ate the wrap.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Now I'm about to workout. I also went swimming again with the fam but didn't do as much exercising in the pool. There are finally a lot of people staying at the hotel so we didn't stay into long.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
On a sad note a warm wind and rain came in and melted the little snow that was here away. We still haven't gone sledding once. We are planning on driving higher up in the mountains tomorrow. I also took my lovely wife to Footloose. It was really good. I wish I was in better shape so I could dance without my knees and back hurting. I ate most of our popcorn on the date. &lt;br /&gt;

 Lunch: two turkey sandwiches on rolls. A few pieces of Christmas candy.&lt;br /&gt;

Dinner: left over roast beef or as I like to call it "Roast Beast" and some mashed potatoes. It was a pretty small serving but I also snacked throughout the day on a bag of pork rines. I didn't know the plain ones were carb free.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I'm actually hungry tonight and I haven't gone to bed hungry this whole trip. I played in gym at the church for an hour today and I'm getting ready to go exercise a bit more before bed. It has been great hanging out with my family. One more day then they all go home.&lt;br /&gt;

This morning started off good. That lasted until lunch.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Breakfast: Eggs and ham.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Lunch: two crunchy burritos from taco bell. This should have been the end of my lunch. But when driving back to the hotel I had an inner battle with myself and skinny Doug lost. (I was in the car with myself) I was getting in and out of the lane to turn to Burger King. At the last minute I made the turn and went and got a triple whopper. I also ate two bites of my daughters cheesy potatoes. Oh yea I almost forgot I had a snack size snickers too. I wish I wasn't in such a love hate relationship with food.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dinner I went to another Family party. I ate a small bowl of chili, my sister is a vegan so chili without meat was a first for me. I also ate a small salad, little bit of cobbler, and a sliver of pumpkin pie. Later in the night I had three pieces of Christmas candy, peanut brittle and my grandma Harmon's Carmel recipe is one you can't pass up for Christmas. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Bit I did swim today with the kids for an hour and worked out in the gym for 45 minutes so hopefully my lunch didn't kill me.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

It was a great experience for our family. We actually got to deliver the gifts in the Rexburg Hospital. In Idaho Falls we only got to put them under a tree. &lt;br /&gt;

Breakfast: eggs, ham, tiny piece of bagel, OJ and milk&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Lunch: Sizzlers lunch salad bar.... Enough said, corn nuts for a snack.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dinner: chips and salsa, navaho taco, diet Mountain Dew for the first time in a long time. Then a hot cocoa.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I was able to take my beautiful wife on a date for the first time in a long time. We did one of my favorite dates per her request. We went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant and watched Breaking Dawn, finally. It was great to get to spend time together.&lt;br /&gt;

It should be a better start to the day. We are going shopping with the money the girls raised.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Breakfast: three assuage patties, banana, two little yogurts, OJ&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Lunch: Texas whopper, small fry and a diet soda. (May seem like a lot but before I would get two double whoppers and fries.)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Peanut M&amp;M's and sunflower seeds for a snack.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dinner: Some chicken spicy Mexican dish my mom made. It was good but I don't know what she calls it. I added some fritos to it. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I'm eating more than I would like too but the sad thing is I'm eating a lot less than I was before I started blogging again.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The girls had fun shopping and we got to play in some snow for the first time on our trip. Breakfast: small bowl of special k cereal with fat free milk, banana, sausage and eggs with a little bit of a bagel.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It's funny how eating to much at lunch makes me feel like I need to eat and eat all day. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Lunch: V-8, nacho lunchable, fritos, and then the rest of my daughter's V-8.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For a snack I had a couple handfuls of sunflower seeds.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dinner: I had a Mexican fajita burrito and a few chips with salsa and bean dip.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Gave in and had a piece of cheese bread and pizza late tonight. &lt;br /&gt;

We are staying for 15 days so hopefully we don't get sick of the same thing over and over.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It was pretty depressing to read in the USA today that only just over 20% of the country will have a white Christmas. Hopefully we will get ours!&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I didn't get up and workout this morning because I wanted to let my family sleep but I'm going to go tonight after we go caroling to some neighbors. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Breakfast: English muffin with one sausage and eggs. Two glasses OJ, yogurt and a little granola to see if I liked it.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Lunch: a bowl of what my mom calls taco soup. It was really good. Like a chili with fritos, sour cream, salsa, &amp; cheese. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dinner: I ate some mystery casserole of my mom's. It was good and I didn't eat to much. I also ate 4 twizzlers later.&lt;br /&gt;
Diet Dr. Pepper.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

Up at 3:30am do drive game me an opportunity to eat way to much.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Over the day I had two breakfast burritos from Roberto's Taco Shop, two 5 hour energy drinks, two sandwiches from Arby's, three pieces of licorice, a couple pieces of beef jerky, and a bunch of sunflower seeds. 4 diet Dr Peppers, and an OJ. (all the caffeine is probably why I'm not tired and my whole family is out already)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Then for dinner lol yes there is &lt;br /&gt;
more I had a salad and a bowl of chili. (much better choice!)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
I got to see my mother for a few and she is looking much better than when I saw her during Chemo this summer. I'm so happy to be able to get to spend this time so close to her.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The hotel we are at has a nice hot tub and gym so I did more exercise today than I have done in months. I'm spending this trip getting back in the habit of working out. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
So while I ate too much food driving, I'm happy to say I will be working out to hit my goal of losing 9 pounds in 15 days! (maybe 11 or 12 lbs after today's food)&lt;br /&gt;

The girls goal was to raise money by selling old toys. The money they made is going to be used to buy new toys for children in the hospital. This was their idea and I'm really proud of them. They raised more than $300! It will be amazing buying gifts and serving.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Because I was helping them with that I didn't eat breakfast. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Lunch: two hawaiian sweet roll ham and cheese sandwiches. One sugar free pudding and a bag of apples.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
After lunch I had an unexpected but really fun photoshoot. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dinner: 8 small chicken nuggets, fiber one bar and a V-8 drink.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

For years now I always gain a lot of weight from Halloween to New Years. But this year I'm cutting my weight gain short by starting to blog now. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A couple weeks ago I weighed 265. I have been over 260 for a while again and it annoys me. I don't have enough energy to be as productive as I want. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
This morning I weighed in at 259! This is pretty depressing though because in March of 2011 I weighed 235 before Mindy and I did our wedding in the Virgin Islands. Its gross to know that I gained 30 pounds over the summer until a couple weeks ago.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
My goal is to be at 250 lbs or less when I return home Jan 2nd. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Breakfast: OJ, two small breakfast burritos&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Lunch: three Tyson chicken fingers, bag of sliced apples&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dinner: sweet Hawaiian roll with hickory farms cheese and beef stick that I shared with my daughters&lt;br /&gt;

But I just found yesterday that Blogger now has an app so it's on like donkey kong. It's amazing how much more self control I had today with food knowing I was going to be posting everything I ate online. I still need to get back to exercising regularly. But eating better first will be a major step in the right direction! &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Breakfast: Coco Rice crispies and fat free milk. 10 peanut m&amp;m's&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Lunch: handful of honey roasted sun flower seeds (or more like mouthful) Light tuna sandwich with olive oil mayo and whole grain bread. Fiber-one granola bar.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Dinner: can of Progressive Light Roast Beef soup. Two glasses of OJ. Bag of sliced apples.&lt;br /&gt;

I'm still hungry but done eating for the night!!! That's a first in a really long time! &lt;br /&gt;

It didn't work out for me. My knee is pretty tight right now. I walked with her for a while and did some pushups and attempted pullups at the park's workout sections. I remember the days when I could do 20 pullups like it was nothing. Now I could only get 2 good ones and cheated for a third. Getting back to 20 pullups is a new goal of mine. I know if I lose the weight it will happen.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I also did pushups today at home but didn't do the 20 second fitness. I ate a lot of fruit and veggies. I also didn't have any cupcakes or cookies at the birthday party we went too. But I did have a small strawberry milkshake from Sonic tonight. They have milkshakes buy one get one free so I gave in with that.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I did 20 second fitness again today and it was arms day. The burn on the bi's was great. Then I did my shake weight 6 minute exercise. The girls rode their bikes while my wife and I walked. By the time we got to the park our dogs were pretty spent and didn't play very much.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The girls had a ton of energy the last couple days. This morning they played at the park for an hour before it got too hot. Then had gymnastics / dance for 45 minutes. Plus the bike ride and they were still wired. Summers are tough on kids here unless you have a pool. Maybe some day we'll get a pool but I would rather have a new house with a pool than put a pool in our backyard now.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have been slowly working my way back to getting ready for 20 second fitness and tonight I finally did it. I did the Wednesday workout of week two so I can just roll with it again. Unfortunately for me it was one of the hardest workouts and all legs!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anyone who knows me knows how much I love as seen on tv products so today I had to go out and get the shake dumbbell to try it out. It was pretty intense because I did the workout right after my 20 second workout.
