A lot of my verses from the previous albums were written using the PC. This time, though, I am taking it back to the old notepad. It is the same style I used for Paper Trail and for most of my poetry. My best work comes from the written concept, so I am returning to it.

Anyway, Aquasilk is perhaps one of the best Zangief players in Super Street Fighter 4. Though my connection started lagging, I think it was a decent showing on my part. The rest of the video, he is going through some interesting matches.

Last week, I matched this guy with my somewhat solid Ken. I say somewhat because he is very far from beast, but wait until next week and I’ll be uploading matches where people should’ve won, but they lost to me. There’s no flukes in SSF4, either you execute or you do not.

The reason I picked this video is to ask, “What is your resolve?” When the going gets tough, do you walk away, or do you look within to find the strength to push forward? Look within to find the inner beast, a power that you, yourself, didn’t think existed. Once this strength is discovered, push it out. You would not get a golden aura like Goku; however, there may be a renewed sense of conviction.

This is more of a push than I thought it to be. Over half of the album will be finished throughout the week. This way, a Reloaded version would not be necessary. Because I am digging deep into my abilities, this is DEFINITELY the last ‘album’ and hip hop inspired collection of rhymes. More of my poetic talent will be explored from a lyrical and emotional edge from this point forward.

Thoughts while I’m working on Loose Ends III. I said that I was not gong to bring it back, but some things need to be written. Rhymes need to be rhymed, so I’m gonna take the time to bring Loose Ends back.

The gist of it is a lot of anger and rage behind the lyrics, the writing, and verses. It is me truly using poetry and rap as a release. I know lately my words have twisted and turned in a different direction, speaking FROM emotion instead of ABOUT emotion. It is a new approach to rhyming, especially since half of it is behind instrumentals these days. The beats drive the thoughts, so I think, I write, and rhyme.

Loose Ends III coming on 4/20/12

"How many lives has that hand taken? Hundreds? Thousands?"

But they went with simplifying a few of the concepts and adding a lot of repetition. There is little to no thought in the game aside from figuring out the cheesy patterns of the bosses. Basically, you walk in the room, then slash and slash. Rinse and repeat.

Ninja Gaiden I and II had a bit of storyline and item collection which made it lengthy than this 3rd installment. Sure, the difficulty is still there (in Master Ninja and Ultimate Ninja [DLC anticipated]), but the repetition makes it a bit boring.

Storyline wise, it gets a bit interesting, but I believe that the curse Ryu deals with should come into play more effectively. If it is the Grip of Death, it should hinder Ryu in battle in a way to think and have less convenient  means of winning. There could be a sense of timing, such as if Ryu takes too long, the curse kills him or begins to take his energy. A mere expansion behind the storyline if the hero is truly a hero or a murder would have been nice.

On a final note, Karma

This is what justifies me to basically grill this game. I’m a guy who did the ‘karma runs’ in Ninja Gaiden Black and NG2. The point where I would throw the controller, constant restarts to get higher scores, and the abuse of combos & ultimate attacks. I do not feel the same zeal behind it when I  started Master Ninja. Honestly, with the repetition, I just feel like I do not need to get tired, much less put the scores down as I did in NGB and2.

Scale of 1-10, I’d give it a 6 on the difficulty scale,  a 8 on my “I get bored” scale, a 10 on frustration (because of Master Ninja and Ultimate Ninja Trials), but a bonus goes to the Clan Battles. I dig em.

Getting a routine is easy, but sticking to it is the punch line. Trying to stay zoned in for an hour is a drag!

I find myself to be the type of guy who will do what it takes to keep a routine going. Even if it means being in the gym late at night or running on a treadmill while watching Monday Night Raw.

Here are a few things to help for motivation.

• Prep food early. If you ain’t eating, you’re preparing food.
• LOG EVERYTHING!
• Only check weight once a week. Otherwise, you will get depressed.
• Water is your friend. CHUG THAT SHIT!
• The loss of fast food will make you feel a bit weird at first, but once it fades, you’ll feel better.
