2013 is going to be here before you know it! Do you have a goal you want to work towards?? If you don't have one yet, create one!! then the work begins!! I have several that I wanna work on for this next year! I'm going to list a few goals that I personally have that I want to do this year: #1 a Half Marathon (I created THIS goal nearly 5 years ago, It's time to get it done so I can check it off my list!!!) #2 Do the Prefontaine again (and every year I live here 'till I die!) and do that 10k run in an hour or less!! #3 To work down debt

I have more goals, there is a lot of things I wanna be better at, or just be better as a person. Thing is that 5 years ago, I would have created a goal, and during the year I would have wished I had accomplished that goal then cried that nothing happened by the end of that year. I'm actually DOING the things I need to do to get things done!
I hope that I've been able to help some, all, or at least ONE person during my own struggle and success with my own goals. I hope to keep on inspiring people to wanna keep improving in their own lives.

HEY everyone listen to THIS!! Since that weight loss challenge ended that I was in and had won 3rd place, lost 25 inches, 5.68% of my body weight, and WON $80 BUCKS, I measured JUST NOW and since I started taking Prolessa Duo, Total Control, and Herbal Tea Concentrate with my shakes every day, along with eating a dinner of what EVER I wanna eat, I measured myself and I have LOST a total of 5 inche...s off my body since the ending of the last weight loss challenge I was in!! I got a call today from someone trying to get me to buy into his program where you BUY leads from this business and they get your business more exposure. WHAT the HECK?! If I wanted to advertise my business I would have consulted with THEM! Lol DUDE I've PROVEN I'm willing to do the work, I've PROVEN I'm ABLE to the work, I think I'll just DO THE REST of the work!! Lol And besides, this doesn't feel like work at ALL! It's SO much fun, it's SO rewarding to help other people get healthier, to get their lives back! So what do you all think? Is it Ethical to pay for leads when you have a business? or is it just the LAZY way of getting leads?? I personally think it's kind of stupid to buy leads, cuz FIRST of all, O have no IDEA what these people are going to say, if they're going to represent my business the way I want it to be portrayed! and second of all, I want to be the one to talk to people, to get them interested in what I have to offer which is HEALTH and WELLNESS!! I think people wanna hear stuff I personally have to say since I've been there done that sort of thing, instead of some schmuck sales man who just wants to meet his quota! Tell me somethin' okay, and I know I won't get any responses so why write this? Oh, to make myself feel better THAT'S why! Lol Okay here goes. JK!! I know people read my stuff, cuz I get messages from people telling me I post too much fitness crap! Lol BUT anyways, I digress. WHY do people complain about their problems but aren't willing to change a gosh darn thing about their situation, the things that are under their control mind you? I have NO idea! Why do people complain about their weight, tell me that want to lose blah n' blah amount of pounds, yet they do nothing to better their situation? I don't know that answer. Actually I take that back, yes I do, or at least I THINK I do. I used to be one of "those people" who complain complain complain but show no action towards trying to fix those things! I used to complain about my own ass yet I wasn't willing to get off of it to get some exercise, yet I STILL found time to poke around Facebook for hours n' hours doin' ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to better my circumstances! Why did I do that? It was because I was in a sort of denial about how heavy I had gotten, and yes it was laziness as well. I also didn't believe in myself, and prejudged myself thinking that I couldn't do it when actually I COULD, but I wasn't willing to try. Not at that time anyways! THAT is until that one day I DECIDED to start believin' in myself again! I'm so grateful that I woke up, and started in my own particular journey to get healthier and better and better! That action in and of itself has helped others as well to believe in their power for change! What an awesome way to pay it forward!!! I'm going to ask you all that may read this, then I'm gonna give you some direction!! Okay, ya ready?? Here's my question for all of ya. What is your goal? DO you even HAVE a goal?? If you don't have one then GET one! Make it a reachable goal but NOT too easy at the same time! Doing that will help PROPEL you out of your own comfort zone and make you keep gettin' better and better and yep! You guessed it! Better yet again!! If you are one of those people that already HAS a goal, and you're working on your goal, I applaud you!! I'm excited for you that DECIDED that it was time for a change for the better! You've had it with mediocrity, and you're striving for betterment! THAT is SEXY!! Yes I said it! The "S" word!! Lol I know, risque huh! Oh well to those that can't handle that word! If ya can't handle the fiyah, then stay outta the kitchen honey! Lol AND my last thing I want to add to this NOTE is this. Do NOT let anyone waste your precious time! Use your time wisely, get somethin' done in your life, FOLLOW the words you speak with ACTION and start workin' on your goals! AND, if you that have mediocrity in mind and wanna just waste your own time? well hey, that's cool it's cool. Just don't waste mine! Cuz I intend to get somethin' DONE! (dustin' off shoulder...) ;)

Well I'll tell you that there are MANY reasons why to join on to the Herbalife train!! But here's one important reason as well as all the other reasons, and there are many! First of all, before I even knew what Herbalife was, I was lookin' around town to try to find a job, anything! I was lookin' at fast food joints, at medical facilities, anywhere and everywhere trying to find a job. The last job I had was when I was in the military, that was Active Duty, I was a 91Bravo Medical Specialist. I got out of the service 10 years ago, and now fast forward many years later I'm a married woman, a mom with four kids, and I'm trying to find a job so as to help out my family financially. Can you believe that I had a HECK if a time trying to find one? My record is PRISTINE! PERFECT! Wonderful! I'm a driven girl, I LOVE challenges, and I was hell bent on finding a job! No one wanted to hire a person that hadn't even worked in 10 years, and even the fast food places were like "Ummmm we don't know if we want to hire you to serve our greasy unhealthy food cuz you haven't worked in so long!" UGH! It was really a frustrating venture!! Then along comes my friend whom i love dearly, and asks me if I want to have a shake party! I said SURE!! Let's do this, have a shake party and learn more about Herbalife! and I was excited about it! We had the shake party, I was touched by all the results that people were having with the Herbalife program, and became a Distributor a few days later! I am now doing what I LOVE doing, I feel grateful EVERY day that I get to do this, help more people get healthy, and also the whole time I'm being able to raise my own children! Had I gotten a job the old fashioned way, I would have had to pay for Day Care which costs an ARM and a LEG, and after I would have paid THAT cost I would have spent my whole pay check on that alone! That didn't make any sense at all! NOW that I'm an Independent Herbalife Distributor, I can set my OWN hours, I can do this business as little or as MUCH as I want to, I am my OWN boss, and the whole time I'm able to watch my own kids grow up! I LOVEloveLOVE that!! God forbid that anything ever happened to my husband and I was the sole bread winner for my family, I have my business as my income. I REALLY feel blessed in that re guard as well! I've always been kind of worried about that part of life, the what-ifs of life. There's stuff that I will never be able to control about life, none of us can! But if I have a way of hopefully softening the blows of life then I think that's one tremendous blessing and I'm SO grateful for that! So, anyone want a WORK-AT-HOME j.o.b.? What direction are you going with your life? Do you know where you wanna be a year from now? 6 months from now? or even tomorrow? Well I do! I knew where I wanted to go when I started my own journey back in 2008. I still have a ways to go, and I'm still workin' my way there. Patience, Persistence, and Perseverance have worked wonders for me on my own journey! Now I feel really happy at where I'm at so far, and I'm with an amazing company as an Independent Herbalife Distributor, spreading the word of health and wellness to other people, and occasionally I encounter some people who aren't readily willing to listen to what I have to say, to what I've LIVED and LEARNED in my own journey. Some people just aren't ready for their own change. Some are not willing to change because they say "I'm just lazy!" or maybe they're not lazy at all but are just happy being the way they are? I have no idea. All I know is that I've lived the life of an Obese person who got up to my top weight of nearly 200 pounds, and who HAD ENOUGH of that type of life of being unhealthy so I decided to make a change and create a NEW NORMAL for myself! I've gotten to a place where I'm loving life, celebrating life, what I've achieved and also what I've been able to inspire others to want to achieve as well! This is what I don't understand. I'm a pretty smart person, I mean I'm no BRAIN SURGEON or anything..... (and why no one thinks a plumber isn't a smart person I don't understand either Lol) but I regress to what I was about to say. What I don't understand is this. WHY oh WHY when I am going around town handing out my flyers about Health, about Wellness, about Living a fuller better HEALTHIER life, and people look at what I'm "selling" them like it's a disease! Lol A person actually tried to sell me a CAR when I went to a car dealership to ask if I could display a flyer at their business! This same salesman had progressively gotten fatter through the years that I've lived in this town, and now this same man tried to sell me a CAR!! Lol I looked straight back at him n' said this "Howz about this! You buy $15,000 worth of Herbalife products from meeeeeee....... and I'll buy a car!" He had NOTHING to say to me after I said that! I'm offering him and everyone else health and wellness, a better way of LIFE, and he offers me POLLUTION?! WHAT THE HECK?!?!?! Lol Anyways, that guy can keep his problems, and I'll keep my awesome products that have changed MANY lives and continue to do so! I guess that man has settled for what he is currently, maybe he's happy where he's at, maybe he's too stubborn to change? Maybe he's too, dare I say, LAZY? Lol I don't have ANY idea! I can sleep peacefully though because I've tried to share what is helping me and what is and has helped MANY people out there!! and I'll continue doing so until I don't have air in my lungs, or a beat left in my heart. I truly LOVE what I do, I'm glad I have tenacity, that I'm persistent, and that I'm patient, because doing so has served me well through my own journey, and I intend to help others through their own journeys as well!

That's right! I have had people tell me to my FACE I wouldn't accomplish something! And ya know what? That cute little sentence PISSES me off! That's right! This 5 foot 2 inch lady sees RED when told what I "won't be able to accomplish" before I've even been given a CHANCE! When you put your mind to something, and I mean REALLY put your mind to something, there is NOTHIN' in this wide world, NO ONE, that can stop you! When you DREAM BIGGER then just yourself, it is AMAZING who will be inspired to do better them selves! There have been times in my life where I could have quit, because progress was really slow, but I'm SO grateful that I didn't quit and just give up! I'm SO grateful for my ability to be positive and to see the glass half full! To see the potential that people have even though they don't yet see it for themselves! When I have set my mind to something towards something that I really wanted to accomplish, there were TWO WORDS that have made a huge difference in my attitude! Those two words will CHANGE your LIFE! The only thing you need to do is apply them in your life, and amazing things will happen! Those two words are NEVER QUIT!
The next THREE words I want you all to start to use in your daily vocabulary are A.....MAZING!!!! These words have helped me TREMENDOUSLY and still do! They are #1 Patience, #2 Persistence, and #3 Perseverance! If you keep moving forward no matter HOW slow the progress is at times, YOU WILL GET TO YOUR GOAL! I PROMISE YOU ALL THAT! When obstacles come in your way and you feel defeated, and the only place you seem to be able to look is down, remember that the only way to grow and become better is to look UP and keep working on your goals! See obstacles as an opportunity to LEARN, to become STRONGER! to be able to persevere in your life and have an amazing impact on someone elses' life! This is something I didn't realize a long time ago but I'm glad and grateful that I realize it now! and that is that LIFE is like Dominos'. A series of events that are one after another, and they ALL have an impact on each other whether they know it or not! Each domino will fall, and there fore it will have an impact on the next domino and so on and so on. You have a choice in this life!! Believe it or not it's true! YOU can either impact someone else's life for the BETTER? or you can impact someone else's life for the WORSE. I don't know about you but I would RATHER pass on a smile of a wave or a shoulder to cry on for someone instead of being a negative influence in their life, no matter HOW small it might be! I'm NOT saying I'm perfect by ANY means! No way Jose!! BUT I AM striving to do better, and be better, and I think that's all anyone can do in their life!
When you find that thing in life that you're passionate about, when you find your "niche" in life, GO FOR IT! Give it ALL you got!! Create a DREAM BOARD of the things you wanna accomplish in this life!! DO the things necessary to get you there and don't let ANY joe shmoe tell you differently!
