Found: Male Golden Retriever near O'Neal Lane

Update: This dog has safely returned to his home.

Found Sunday afternoon 11/27 in Woodlands subdivision off O'Neal Lane: very large, older, male golden retriever; collar but no tags, black markings on his belly; struggles a little when he gets up from reclined position. Very sweet and friendly disposition. His rescuer can keep him overnight, but has to release him tomorrow because going out of town.

Lost chihuahua, downtown Baton Rouge

UPDATE: Batman has been found! His family had left their name and number at the security office of the casino near their home, and got a call this evening when Batman was spotted by the river.

Light tan male chihuahua was lost at 7pm on November 20th from the Riverview condos on N. 3rd Street in downtown Baton Rouge. His name is Batman.

New home for abandoned beagle!

This poor beagle was abandoned and tied to a post at the corner of E. Lakeshore and Perkins Road with an empty bowl, in this heat! She appears to be between 6-9 years old. She knows how to sit and lie down, and appears to be housetrained.

Update: Beagle will be going to a new home in Michigan in a couple of weeks!

Pumpkin, the big orange tabby who escaped from his carrier in the parking lot of the Garden District Animal Hospital back in March, has been found safe! His owner, who has been faithfully and diligently searching for him all this time, was walking the neighborhood about a block from her house. She passed a house with an orange cat, called out “Pumpkin,” and he meowed. She went closer to look at him, and it was Pumpkin!

His family is so happy to have him back, and extends their thanks to everyone who helped keep an eye out.

Wearing a fuzzy pink collar with a pink, heart-shaped tag with contact info; she's also microchipped. Kitty sometimes answers to "B.” She has always been an indoor cat and escaped through the window screen. Her owner misses her! Any information about B, please contact lostandfoundhound@gmail.com.

There have been sightings of a cat who looks like B on Myrtle and Kleinert Ave. so if you know anyone who lives around that area, please forward this to them and ask them to keep an eye out.

Missing Beagle

I was writing to see if you could include my dog John Wayne on your site.

He is a neutered male beagle mix. He has a bald spot on the tip of his tail and a pencil eraser sized bump on one ear. He went missing on Saturday, November 6 near LSU. He should be wearing a green fluorescent collar with rabies and microchip tags. He is microchiped and has been reported lost on the site that monitors his chip (www.petlink.net). He is very sweet, but a little shy. If he is found please contact me at cstev35@tigers.lsu.edu or 225-937-1793. We are offering a reward for his safe return.

Our precious Pomeranian mix dog named Roscoe wandered away on Wednesday, Sept. 29. He is a neutered male. He weighs about 10 pounds.
Roscoe is tan and cream with black markings. He has a black button nose. His bottom teeth stick out from an underbite.
Roscoe is very affectionate, and our other two dogs miss him very much.
He was last seen in the Perkins Road / Bluebonnet Blvd. area at 7634 Wimbledon Ave., in Wimbledon Subdivision. If you find him, please call (225) 921-8909.

To whom it may concern:

We found this adorable little female dog yesterday when she wandered up to our office. She is about 6 months old and when we found her she had a cute pink collar with squares and polka-dots, but when she came back to our office in the evening the collar was gone. She was found on Picardy inbetween Essen and Bluebonnet. There were no tags on her collar and we had a patient take her to all of the surrounding apartments but we had no luck locating her owner. We know she belongs to someone because she is the sweetest dog!!! She approched all of the patients and children who came in yesterday and was so friendly. We did not want to leave her in the cold so we have temporarly boarded her at a Vet, but unfortunatley none of our staff can keep her, and we know this little angel is someone's pet so I was hoping you could post the pictures on your website to help us get the word out and maybe someone is looking for her.
