On Thursday I attended the presentation of the new collection of Time Time Italy, mainly composed of T-shirts and sneakers. The clothes, both for men and for women, are very young and colorful, with ironic and funny prints. The collection is entirely made in Italy and will be on sale in some selected stores. What do you think?

Munich: day 3

The second day in Munich we visited the Schloss Nymphenburg, taking advantage of the beautiful sunny day after two cloudy days. I loved the interior of the castle, especially the Schönheitsgalerie (Gallery of Beauties), in which were the portraits of young women from all walks of life considered the emblem of beauty. The gardens were wonderful and the spring period is definitely the best to see them.

Il secondo giorno a Monaco abbiamo visitato lo Schloss Nymphenburg, approfittando della bella giornata di sole dopo due giorni di cielo coperto. Mi sono piaciuti molto gli interni del castello, soprattutto la Schönheitsgalerie (galleria delle bellezze) in cui erano esposti i ritratti di giovani donne di tutti i ceti sociali considerate l'emblema della bellezza. Anche i giardini erano meravigliosi e il periodo primaverile è sicuramente il migliore per vederli.

Munich: day 2

We spent the second day in Munich entirely at Marienplatzt and its surroundings, strolling and buying souvenirs for friends and family, before I got the flu and stuck in bed in the late afternoon. I loved the Neues Rathaus Glockenspiel, it's one of the largest carillon in the world and it was exciting to see it in action. I'd never seen anything like that.

Il secondo giorno a Monaco l'abbiamo passato interamente a Marienplatz e dintorni, passeggiando e comprando souvenirs per amici e parenti, prima di prendermi l'influenza che mi ha bloccata a letto nel tardo pomeriggio. Ho adorato il Glockenspiel del Neues Rathaus, si tratta di uno dei più grandi carillon del mondo e vederlo in azione è stato emozionante. Non avevo mai visto nulla di simile.

As you know I've been three days in Munich and I come back last night. The reason for the trip was mainly realize a little how could it be a hypothetical transfer to Germany, since I've never been there and I was thinking about moving there for a while. Even if for a few days (two of which spent with the flu), I tried to imagine to live in this city, and my opinions have been positive. The first day we were at the Fruehlingfest, the spring festival, a sort of Oktoberfest but with less tourists. It was great fun, there was a climate of joy that is rare to find in other cities.

Come sapete sono stata tre giorni a Monaco e sono tornata ieri sera. Il motivo del viaggio era sopratutto rendermi conto di come potrebbe essere un ipotetico trasferimento in Germania, visto che non c'ero mai stata e avevo l'intenzione di trasferirmi lì per un po'. Anche se per pochi giorni (di cui due passati con l'influenza), ho cercato di immaginarmi a poter vivere in questa città, e le opinioni sono state positive. Il primo giorno siamo stati alla Fruehlingfest, la festa di primavera, una sorta di Oktoberfest ma con meno turisti. E' stato molto divertente, si respirava un clima di allegria che è raro trovare in altre città.

A molti di voi è piaciuta la giacca a righe che vi ho mostrato in questo post. Visto che è anche uno dei miei capi preferiti di questo periodo ho deciso di proporvela in un altro outfit. 1) Spending an afternoon pretending to be a tourist in Milan. Although I live near and I go there often, my visits have always been focused on shopping or on some event for the blog. I decided to dedicate one day to see the artistic beauty that this city has to offer and that I had never seen.

Strawberry pizza

Before I made this recipe I was a little scared because although I love cooking, I thought that complexes dessserts were not really my thing. But a recipe with strawberries was one of those things to do to complete my spring list so I decided to try. At the end I was very satisfied of the result and it was great to eat the first cake made by me and see that it's also liked to the whole family! It's called strawberry pizza because the mixture is similar to that used for pizza but the final appearance is that of a cake! Enjoy your meal!

Prima di fare questa ricetta avevo un po' paura del risultato perché nonostante ami molto cucinare, pensavo che i dolci complessi non fossero proprio il mio forte. Ma una ricetta con le fragole era una di quelle cose da fare per completare la mia lista di primavera perciò ho deciso di tentare. Il risultato alla fine mi ha soddisfatta molto ed è stato bello mangiare la prima torta realizzata da me e vedere che è piaciuta anche a tutta la famiglia! Si chiama pizza alle fragole perché l'impasto è simile alla pizza ma l'aspetto finale è quello di una torta a tutti gli effetti! Buon appetito!

I like to add some red details to my outfit and those who follow me for the longest time may have noticed it in several of my posts. In this look, that I particularly like, this color is given by the blazer resting on the shoulders that I decided to combine only with the lipstick to make it stand out even more. I have in mind some other outfits with accessories in red, I hope you enjoy them!

Mi piace aggiungere qualche dettaglio di rosso ai miei outfit e chi mi segue da più tempo lo avrà notato in diversi miei post. In questo look questo colore che amo particolarmente è dato dal blazer appoggiato sulle spalle che ho deciso di abbinare solamente al rossetto per farlo risaltare ancora di più. On Wednesday I was at the Attila & Co press day where were presented the fall/winter 2013-14 of different quality brands including Jeffrey Campbell, Ugg Australia, Elena Ghisellini, HTC and many more. During the event I admired beautiful clothes and accessories, I got a personalized cupcake with my name on it (follow me on Instagram to see it) and a fortune teller predicted me the future, something never done before! Overall, therefore, it was a so much fun event! In the post I will show you the pictures of the pieces I liked the most! Let me know what you think!

Mercoledì sono stata al press day di Attila&Co dove sono state presentate le collezioni autunno/inverno 2013-14 di diversi marchi di qualità tra cui Jeffrey Campbell, Ugg Australia, Elena Ghisellini, HTC e molti altri. As you know in my spring to-do list there is to buy a lucky bamboo plant. Before buying it, I checked the value of bamboo in the culture of Feng Shui and I decided to make a post about it because it's really fascinating.
The first thing to consider is the number of stalks to be purchased, each number represents a different degree of luck:
2 stalks for the love and the couple;
3 for happiness and longevity;
4 is the number of stalks to be avoided since the four in Chinese culture is a negative number;
5 for wealth in every area of your life;
6 for prosperity;
7 for the health;
8 for fertility;
9 for luck;
10 for a full and satisfying life;
I chose to buy three stalks to start, also because I think that once you reach true happiness you can achieve anything in life

Come sapete nella mia lista di cose da fare questa primavera c'era anche di comprare una pianta di bamboo portafortuna. Prima di acquistarla mi sono informata sul valore del bamboo nella cultura del Feng Shui e ho deciso di farne un post perchè è davvero affascinante.

Milan Design Week: Samsonite Cosmolite by Lorenzo Petrantoni

On Thursday I participated at the presentation of the limited edition of Samsonite Cosmolite suitcases made in collaboration with the artist Lorenzo Petrantoni. Only one hundred pieces of this collection were produced and introduced in preview during the Milan Design Week. The material used is very light and durable, two very useful characteristics for the modern traveler. Personally I really liked the collection, I admire the unique decorative work and the highly distinctive style of Lorenzo Petrantoni. What do you think?

Giovedì ho partecipato all'evento di presentazione dell'edizione limitata di valigie Cosmolite di Samsonite realizzate in collaborazione con l'artista Lorenzo Petrantoni. Sono stati prodotti solo cento pezzi di questa collezione e presentati in anteprima durante la Design Week. Il materiale utilizzato è molto leggero e resistente, due caratteristiche utilissime per il viaggiatore moderno. Personalmente la collezione mi è piaciuta molto, ammiro il lavoro decorativo dallo stile unico e fortemente distintivo di Lorenzo Petrantoni. Che ne pensate?

We spent our last morning on the beach before leaving for Milan in the afternoon. I really miss the warm weather that was there, it was perfect for a swim if I had took with me the bikini! Here the days continue to be totally winter and revise these pictures helps me to overcome the gray days. I hope they do the same effect for you too! That day I wore a blue blazer bought in Palermo and I think you will see it often combined in different ways, I love it!

L'ultima mattina ad Atene l'abbiamo passata in spiaggia per poi ripartire per Milano nel pomeriggio. Mi manca molto il clima caldo che c'era lì, era perfetto anche per una nuotata se solo avessi portato il bikini! Qui le giornate continuano ad essere totalmente invernali e rivedere queste foto mi aiuta a superare il grigio delle giornate. Spero faccia lo stesso effetto anche a voi! Quel giorno ho indossato un blazer blu elettrico comprato a Palermo e penso che lo vedrete spesso abbinato in diversi modi, mi piace moltissimo!

The second day in Athens we were totally immersed in the history of this wonderful city visiting the Agora and the Acropolis.Walking among the ruins of temples that have survived after more than two thousand years, I tried to imagine what they were like at the time of the splendor of ancient Greece. The Parthenon is the most impressive and famous, though not the best preserved. From the Acropolis we enjoyed a wonderful view over the city! That day I was wearing a confortable dress, suitable for the almost summer temperatures of that day. I could also wear it without tights!

Il secondo giorno ad Atene ci siamo totalmente immersi nella storia di questa meravigliosa città visitando l'Agorà e l'Acropoli. Aggirandomi tra le rovine di templi che dopo più di duemila anni sono arrivati fino a noi, cercavo di immaginarmi come fossero ai tempi dello splendore dell'antica Grecia. Tra tutti il Partenone è sicuramente il più imponente e famoso, anche se non il meglio conservato. Dall'Acropoli poi si godeva di una vista eccezionale su tutta la città! Quel giorno indossavo un vestitino comodo e leggero, adatto alle temperature quasi estive di quel giorno. Avrei potuto indossarlo anche senza calze!

In Athens it's already spring for real. The three days we spent there the temperatures were always above 20 degrees, to get to 26 during the hottest hours, so I was able to wear for the first time this olive green shirt that I bought a few weeks ago. Our first day in Athens we walked around the Parliament Square and at the flea market, witnessed the changing of the guard and took a bit of photos in the beautiful National Garden. Those who follow me on Instagram know that I made friends with a stray big dog found there, I wanted to take it with me!

Ad Atene è già primavera per davvero. I tre giorni che abbiamo passato lì le temperature erano sempre superiori ai 20 gradi, per arrivare addirittura a 26 durante le ore più calde, perciò sono riuscita ad indossare per la prima volta questa camicia verde oliva che ho comprato qualche settimana fa. Il nostro primo giorno ad Atene abbiamo fatto un giro alla piazza del Parlamento e al mercatino delle pulci, assistito al cambio della guarda e scattato un po' di foto nel meraviglioso Giardino Nazionale. Chi mi segue su Instagram sa che ho fatto amicizia con un cagnolone randagio trovato lì, avrei voluto portarlo con me!
