Back in business

2012-05-23T15:36:00.002+01:00

Uni is done, so I have time to make some new time travels and stuff :)

Quartermile skyline.

I went into this tropical rainforest :)

Some wild beast tried to eat me :(

But I survived :)

I found Chuck Norris hanging in the forest :)

Living on the edge :)

Chuck Norris again

I need one of these :)

He is clearly not fit for work :)

Here is a picture I found from the internets :)

New toy

2012-03-11T15:08:00.001+00:00

Haha, I just found the photomerge tool from photoshop :) Had to play around a little bit :)

Some old pictures from Stirling.

Nice spot :)

LOL - Lots of Ledges :)

Old versus new.

Hell yes!!

Something new coming here.

Old versus new, part 2.

This cat was also checking this gap to stairs :)

Nice car :)

Edinburgh.

I especially like this building :)

"The imperialistic murder flag", as my friend likes to call it, was flying at the castle :(

Haha, the angles are bit screwed :)

ohks

The Potterow banks :)

Dirty district :)

My favourite wall in Edinburgh :)

I like this guys work, have to film more of them someday.

Here is a picture I found from the internets :)

Secret spot

2012-03-10T12:12:00.000+00:00

So I finally get to go to my lake :) after missing my train on the first attempt :(

Say hello to my friend Mr.Sheep! :)

Some mountains.

That is the glen I am going to :)

It is not nice to install these water hazards on the road :(

Wohoo! Piggyback ride :) Do you know what pigs say? "Freeze motherfucker!"

The weather was nice :)

I am not going to climb that.

That is the one I am going to climb :)

I decided to take a shortcut from the road.

The shortcut was not a good idea at all.

Not a single person in sight anywhere :)

The weather was really good over there..

...but not where I was going :(

First sight of my lake! :) :)

Me and my shortcuts, I climbed the wrong mountain :(

I dare you to go stand in the snow :)

You can see the edge between good and bad weather.

Freedooom! No sight of Mel Gibson, this is my kingdom now! :)

My lake <3

Other people may have their fancy their fancy thermos and shit, but I drink beer :)

I can't believe how far I have walked :)

Proof that I was at the top :)

The mountains just keep on going..

Snow :)

My lake :) :) :)

Another shortcut gone bad, I came down from here. Not a good choice at all, but I was already past point of no return.

I had to enjoy some beer at my lake :)

It took me 7 hours to get here :)

This is what you get when you miss a stone crossing a river :(

I can't believe I was up there :)

Nice bridge :)

Bye bye :( last view of my lake.

Loooong way home, and it was getting dark.

Had to walk back in darkness :)

Here is a picture I found from the internets :)

Blaablaablaa

2012-03-09T05:31:00.001+00:00

Some text about actually working and not having time to update my blog.

So, this is somehow connected to the place I am going today:

I have been working with this lake since october 2011, so it is about time to go see it in real life.
I was actually going yesterday, but my phone decided to die during the night, so I missed my train :(

Here is a picture I found from the internets :)

Sorry I'm late

2012-02-19T19:38:00.001+00:00

I should have visited Niddrie ~5 years ago :(

Niddrie used to look like this.

I went through my intergalactic wormhole again :)

And I met Ron Jeremy on the other end :)

This used to be a railroad.

It is named The Innocent Railway because nobody died during the construction :)

Trailerpark :)

Getting close to Niddrie :)

Oh, it is one of these neighbourhoods :(

The Klingons were calling me :)

Radio transmitter :)

My friend Mr. Ron Jeremy :)

This is what comes out of Kinder eggs in Niddrie :)

I also found some methadone :)

Anti-vandal paint.

Too bad the old Niddrie was demolished, now it just looks boring :(

Poor students with broken window :(

Somebody broke my money stash :(

Somehow we made it through the junkies and neds to the beach :)

Some people are crazy :)

The beach has seen some better days :)

River :)

Empty yard.

Scotland :)

Here is a picture I found from the internets :)

Deal with it!

2012-02-18T15:23:00.002+00:00

Bristo Square is actually pretty fun place, too bad it has been skated for the past 20+ years.

This is what I have to deal with.

This is where my homeless friends sleep, drink ans piss.

They see me rollin', they hatin' :)

This is actually quite good, too bad the run up sucks :(

This is my favourite song today :)

Top 10

2012-02-11T23:42:00.000+00:00

So, I found this article, and EH14 is number 10. EH14 pointed me to Wester Hailes :) I had the best idea ever, go to Wester Hailes on a saturday night when it was dark :)

I met my bodyguard Chuck Norris :)

Beware of elderly people :)

This was our previous night out :)

You have been warned :)

Chuck was casually hanging out at the ghetto :)

What is a game without a ball?

I almost jumped that train :)

Dark waters.

Glasgow only 56 miles :)

Chuck posing just before Wester Hailes :)

Here it is :)

We need more buildings like this :)

Chuck posing :)

I was just casually drinking beer at Wester Hailes :)

Lovely buildings :)

Nice path :)

Barb wire is dangerous :(

Wester Hailes :)

I got mugged in the streets :(

Danger is my middle name :)

Here is a picture I found from the internets :) :) :)

Revolution will not be televised

2012-02-11T15:15:00.001+00:00

I have to say that the Stop ACTA Edinburgh has to be one of the best organized demonstrations I have been to. :)

I made this cool sign :)

My friend Ivan the Terrible was going as well :)

He also had a cool sign :)

But nobody was around :(

Ivan the Terrible was disappointed :(

But here is a cool art installation I made :) I should be paid infinite moneys for doing this :)

Summertime!

2012-02-09T23:02:00.000+00:00

I miss summer :(

We arrived to the jungle with Pena.

Kake was painting :)

You have to teach the kids some habits when they are young.

Pena is friends with Nick Nolte :)

Love was in the air :)

This guy found some frisbees :)

Bruce Lee was shooting at me :(

Pena is listening while Bruce Lee raps.

Ice Cube in the house!

He got some dance moves :)

This is how we roll.

Then Tom Jones came to shut the party :(

The morning afters are hard :(

Pena chilled in the pool.

Did I find any pics from the internets?? YES I DID!!

Good Old Friends

2012-02-09T19:51:00.000+00:00

I made a time warp to a galaxy far far away from here :)

My good old friends Kake and Pena were thirsty :)

Kake and Pena enjoying some refreshments :)

Pena is proud of his hood :)

After this I really can't remember anything, I must have been abducted :)

BUT,

HERE

The Other Side of the Rainbow

2012-02-05T17:43:00.001+00:00

I wanted to test my new superpowers and fly over Edinburgh to take some aerial pictures :)

I was wandering in the wilderness.

This is not a good place if you suffer from vertigo.

David Hume and Appleton towers.

This is how my neighbourhood used to look like.

Then it was demolished :(

And now it looks like this.

Restalrig

The Hibs stadium.

Muirhouse.

My old neighbourhood :)

The Balmoral hotel. Muirhouse is lurking in the background, ready to jump the Balmoral :)

This might be another one of those intergalactic wormholes :)

The Hearts stadium.

This guy was ready to commit suicide :(

Hipster shot of Craigmillar :(

Beware of falling objects, or persons :)

hmm, I might move my superhero cave here..

Then I flew to Craigmillar :)

Edinburgh, Y U NO build blocks like these anymore??

This used to be in Leith.

It was infested with maggots :(

Has my mail arrived?

Woohoo! It is amazing what you can find from the streets :) (I also found some valium, but that is a secret)

New building coming up. I hope it is one of those grey concrete blocks :)

Wasteland.

Lovely building :)

I wonder if the adult learning place is in heavy use?

Then I flew back home :)

Only in my neighbourhood :)

I found this sign from the internets :) I think I will put it in our yard :)

Protect Ya Neck

2012-02-04T16:05:00.001+00:00

Wow, it was raining in Scotland!

I woke up from my superhero cave!

Not quite the traditional Finnish sauna :)

Fun times :)

Lovely canal.

Please don't climb our wall :(

The swan queen.

Lovely neighbourhoods :)

My narrow escape.

I was on thin ice :)

The Kilted Pig :)

It is nice that they keep this canal in a good shape :)

There was some snow in the hills. I have conquered that one, so no need to go there now :)

The other canal goes on top of that bridge :)

This is what paradise looks like (minus the rain). Notice no kids with scooters, bmx bikes or rollerblades :)

I like these council houses :)

Found this nice building.

They must be cold inside :(

Some lovely villas :)

This is where my favourite beer comes from :)

Here is a picture from the internets :)

Go with the flow

2012-02-01T17:33:00.002+00:00

I ended up in Leith instead of Muirhouse :( Well, there is always the next time.

I found this old picture.

This is how the same spot looks like now.

The infamous Easter Road. Beware the Capital City Service here. Try the local pubs wearing red during the derby, or wearing blue when the Rangers are in town. :)

This place used to be a shell gas station. I have a funny story about this place, but you have to ask me to tell it in person.

It is a real shame they don't build these kinds of blocks anymore :(

I like these buildings :)

The sun was shining in Edinburgh, I have proof!! :)

Say hello to my friend the Queen Elizabeth :)

Queen, Y U NO take my dollar??

One sad story about capitalism. They were going to fill the waterfront with these houses...

...but then the recession came, and they ran out of funding...

...and now it is just full of these empty lots.

They knew I was coming!!

I can see the Muirhouse tower..

...but it is too damn far away :( Next time I will take the bus.

Nice bank!

Business closed :(

No free dinner tonight :(

Another view of Edinburgh.

There we go, I think this will sum up today:

Murder was the case that they gave me

2012-01-31T08:56:00.000+00:00

I found this lovely travel tip to Muirhouse and Craigmillar :) This time I am going to check out Muirhouse, because it is too far from Craigmillar to visit them both on same day :(

"Whatever anybody says, keep well clear of housing schemes such as Craigmillar and
Muirhouse. The people who live here are truly the scum of the Earth. To call these violent, drug infested hellholes "third World" would be an insult to the decent populations of Africa, Asia and South America. The residents are dirty, lazy,Godless and ANGRY! Feral children run wild through the hideous warrens of 1960s concrete boxes(many of which ly empty and derelict) ingesting alcohol and class A drugs, emptying their systems of excess urine and saliva over walls and pavement alike. The only salvation for many of the adult population is to gather at the communal temple that is "The Gunner"(Muirhouse) or "The Castle Tavern" (Craigmillar). It is here that the miserable and infirm can gather to offer gifts (SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENTS) in return for copious amounts of "holy water" ( Tennants Lager) & various "house"spirits, before vomiting, stabbing or beating strangers ,swearing, urinating in public and finally kicking the living daylights out of their unfortunate (though equally revolting) spouses. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!"

Sounds just like a place for me :) Muirhouse is the 2nd and Craigmillar is the 4th most deprived place in Scotland (Restalrig in Edinburgh is 3rd, have to go there as well someday). I just needed some equipment for this journey:

Six pack of the cheapest beer money can buy, to blend in with the locals (too bad my tracksuit is at wash). One Heineken to enjoy afterwards.

A knife, if some poor person needs me to cut their bread :)

Report coming tomorrow :)

Oldies but Goldies

2012-01-30T12:12:00.002+00:00

I found some old pictures of my journeys between time and space :)

Ivan, Valyo, Lauri, Fuck

Mr.Eastwood eating kebab :)

Mr. Eastwood was casually sleeping at Glasgow coach station.

Someone put this in my door :)

Mr. Eastwood was shooting at some strangers at Cowgate :) Some poor guys got pretty pissed at him and started throwing bottles at him, and tried to break in to our flat :)

We shall conquer this hill!

Mr. Eastwood is really excited to conquer this hill :)

He was not pleased with the artificial ski slope though :(

Erosion control

We had a couple of beers at erosion control.

And we had a couple of beers at the top too :)

Somehow we transported to Loch Shira?

I have always been a treehugger :)

This is a nice castle :)

Mr. Eastwood was friends with the otter :)

And he even gave some beer to this guy :)

Mr. Eastwood and waterfall.

Tennents, fresh like river water :)

Here is a picture I found from the internets :)

Cold War

2012-01-29T18:40:00.000+00:00

Once upon a time the people of US of A were not friends with people of the USSR :( As a result they both made huge amounts of nuclear weapons :( Even the people of Britain were scared of the nuclear weapons, so they made a nuclear shelter.

My theme song for today :)

My old castle :)

This sign only £100 !!!

I like this sign more :)

I can see the Kingdom of Fife from here.

DUDE! Zebras in Edinburgh!!

This is the spot! Fences haven't stopped me before :)

Go here to learn more about this bunker.

Here we go :)

Good thing I always carry these things, this place is full of asbestos :(

I think I can still fix this truck :)

Noo! It was locked, I came here for nothing :( :( Then some angry men came and kicked me out :( Good thing that I am a tourist :)

I think I am going to move here :)

Support

2012-01-28T18:54:00.000+00:00

If you have some extra money, you should support these poor students making a film :)

Follow the rivers

2012-01-28T14:46:00.000+00:00

This is my theme song for today :)

So I decided to go take some pictures.

I found this beast, too bad it is skatestopped :(

Manual pad.

Found some nice banks :)

Some dark alleys.

It is nice that they finally started to build the tram tracks. The tramline should have been operational 2011 :)

So, this thing is for sale.

I want to buy this, just to employ one guy to randomly change my bedroom every day.

They really think they can keep me out of private property??

Breaking the law.

I teleported myself to some jungle.

These guys are lucky that I didn't bring my rifle with me.

I just had to take one hipster photo from flowers :)

This bridge came to ruin my view :(

Some urban jungle.

Waterfall

Another fucking hipster photo :(

If you see me in alleys like this, hold tight to your wallet.

I follow the rivers.

Another waterfall.

It is nice to live in a clean environment.

Woohoo! Living on the edge :)

Then I ran out of battery, so no more river followings :(

But, here is a picture I found from the internets :)

The Meaning of Life

2012-01-26T07:42:00.000+00:00

After returning from my intergalactic travels, I was reading my research papers, when suddenly I discovered the meaning of life. I imagine Isaac Newton must have had the same feeling when he was hit by the apple! I don't want to be greedy asshole so I will share the meaning of life:

Beginning:

INPUT "Hello there! Is Lost in the Internets the best blog in the universe? (Y/N)", blog$

IF blog$="n" OR blog$="N" THEN GOTO Beginning

IF blog$="y" OR blog$="Y" THEN GOTO end

GOTO Beginning

end:

CLS

PRINT "Good answer, now you know the meaning of life!"

Infinite lives and infinite happiness! Problem god?? This guy is the inspiration of my scientific research on the meaning of life.
For more meanings of life go here: Xenu

Today I didn't find any pictures from the internets :(

Intergalactic wormhole discovered!!!

2012-01-24T17:10:00.000+00:00

Recently on my journeys I found an intergalactic wormhole. I should be awarded infinite Nobel peace prices for infinite space travels!!

I can see the wormhole!

Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.

I was feeling dizzy from traveling faster than the speed of light.

Darth Vader was hiding in my wormhole, but I chased him away!

Looks like David Hasselhoff is the commander of time-space continuum.

No shit! It was George Bush!

I was lucky to get away from the wormhole before the Trans-Siberian express came through!

And here is a picture I found from the internets :)

Trip to Wales

2012-01-23T16:44:00.000+00:00

Once upon a time in a galaxy far far away, I made a trip to Wales, here are some pictures I found on my camera.

I teleported myself to a bench in Swansea.

The Terminator was bodybuilding at the beach.

The Terminator was rolling a cigarette and drinking Bavaria.

Do we really have to walk there?

Some dog was harassing the Terminator.

We had some whiskey from Terminators thermos.

I also met Justin Bieber, he was not very happy with his pictures.

I will conquer this hill!

Dragon flying above Wales.

Machines are not built to conquer hills, unlike me.

Well that is not very nice from you Mr.Terminator.

The dragon went that way!

I captured a wild Pikachu!

The tide was coming up, so I had to abandon my hill :(

I defy gravity.

And finally here is a picture I found from the internets :)

I didn't have to use my AK, it was a good day.

2012-01-22T15:12:00.000+00:00

Today I decided to go take some pictures.

Everytime I wake up I have to look at this thing from my window.

Lovely views in front of my mansion.

I found these bad boys, too bad you get kicked out pretty soon.

Too many ledges!! I will go crazy.

NOOOO!

Not this thing again!

Some banks.

It is not very nice to install these things!

I bet I can find some syringes here.

Respect the dead.

Methadone bottle maybe?

Here we go. Anyone need a fix?

With a bottle.

There must be awesome parties here during the night.

More bottles.

More syringes.

I love trains!

Let's go see if I can find any syringes from this graveyard.

And the first grave I walk into.

I wonder what is in here.

Looks like I walked into somebody's home.

I wonder what he/she is cooking?

Occupy Edinburgh.

Someday I will noseslide this...

...and then ollie these stairs.

Challenge accepted.

Rattray's last trick in "Waiting for the world", before the pole was installed.

Do I really have to climb up there?

Oh shit! My evil plan to take over the world has been leaked!

This thing just screams for a heelflip.

Nice neighbourhood.

And finally here is a picture I found from the internets :)

First!!

2012-01-21T17:55:00.000+00:00

Today I didn't have anything better to do, so I started this blog.

Here is a picture i found from the internet :)

This has been my favourite song today!
