New Jersey’s Pine Barrens make up 1.1 million acres in the southern/central part of the state. It encompasses 7 of the state’s 21 counties, and more than 50 municipalities. The Pine Barrens is the National Pinelands Reserve, and is alive with plant and animal life, and has a unique history. This website will explore the history and mystery of this unique forestland. Delay in Lost Towns of the Pine Barrens, Vol. I DVD

Just a note, the factory we use to duplicate and distribute the Lost Towns of the Pine Barrens, Vol. I DVD will be closed from July 25 to August 5, 2011. Their business has grown quickly and are moving from New York City to a larger modern facility in Northern Nevada. During this time they will accept orders, but will not manufacture the DVD or ship until after August 5.

DEP to Hold Hearings on Drought

TRENTON - On Wednesday, Aug. 25, at 10:30 a.m., the Department of Environmental Protection will hold a public hearing at the Millburn Free Library to review current water supply conditions in the State, and especially five Northeastern counties, and obtain public input regarding available water supply management options.The DEP has determined that a potentially critical water supply situation could develop in the Northeast region, including all or parts of Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris and Passaic counties. A Drought Watch is now in effect in that region.
