Last weekend we went out to get our tree.  It's been a bear with regards to temperature and the -30 and lower temperatures have kept us inside for far too long.  I had to cancel the father/son ski trip that my cousin was preparing due to the cold. For Thanksgiving this year we headed North to Cochrane where Stacie's brother now lives.  He's enjoying the quiet country living, or what passes for that around Calgary.  The fact is, it's much easier to get to and there is some nice walking near his home.  Much better than Calgary.  We enjoyed some quiet time and a nice walk.

So I decided to fight again.. With a higher roof this year, we ended up with a rather large tree.  Even after we trimmed it down it was still pretty big. The kids had a pretty fun time decorating the tree and we had enough decorations as well.  I did have to make the tree a little asymmetrical to fit it in the corner.
