Yeah! The Saints are 8-0. They can't be stopped. I wish I was back home right now. What you see above is my very own and very first fleur de lis design. This is the next design for L*O*U*D!™ . This is the amazing creation I was talking about in my previous "L*O*U*D!™" post. There will be other colorways, but you gotta appreciate that Black & Gold.

I've been extremely busy. Too busy for school so that means I've been too busy for L*O*U*D!™ as well. I was in New Orleans recently to be with my family. I had to order a new supply of 1" buttons because I ran out giving them to all my lil' cousins. I didn't have time to work on the t-shirts. However, I created something amazing. Time will tell. Remember, the store is always open.

Beaterator Review

I have been playing Beaterator for a few weeks now and ever since the first moment I played with it I was instantly surprised with the massive amount of features built into this game. They're not lying when they say anyone can make music with this game. It's that easy, but don't underestimate. It can get as complex as your average music production software. As soon as you start the game you're taken to the main screen with two options. You can either go into the "Live Play" mode or the "Studio" mode. The Live Play mode is for easy creation of music. You have 8 different instrument types with 4 loops per instrument to play with live to make different mixes as you go. You can use preloaded loops or load in your own. Live Play is fun. It's the first mode I jumped into and I was making songs within minutes. You have many options when it comes to the preloaded loops and endless options when you add your own. From there your only option is the "Studio" mode. Studio mode is just as simple as Live play. all you have to do is use loops to arrange your own song. Beaterator includes a huge amount of loops and sounds produced by Rockstar and Timbaland. When in the Studio mode you have many options to create a song. These options include the "Synth Loop" mode which allows you to tweak the synthesizer settings to create an original sound. The "Sound Editor" mode allows you to edit WAV files in many different ways, like trim, stretch, reverse, fade, silence, etc. The Sound Editor also allows you to record and edit your own sounds using your PSP system with a built in microphone. From there you have three crafters to play with. There's the "Drum Crafter", the "Song Crafter", and the "Melody Crafter". With the Drum Crafter you have a selection of pre-existing drum kits and you may also create one with a huge selection of drum sounds. The Song Crafter allows you to arrange the provided loops of your own custom loops to create an entire song. Finally with the Melody Crafter you can create custom tunes to use as loops by assigning various sound to piano keys. From there you can use neat lil' features like the Visualizer which brings nice visuals that react to your music while you listen to your created music. You also have the ability to share your songs in a few different ways. You may import MIDI files from your Memory Stick into songs, or export your songs and loops as MIDI files or you may export your songs to PC or MAC as a WAV file or directly upload your music to the Rockstar Social Club, which allows you to share songs with other Beaterator community Artists. The features of Beaterator feel endless, I'm discovering new things as I play on. Bottomline it's a definite buy for the PSP. Don't forget, it's also coming to the iPod touch and iPod touch pretty soon. For more info check out the Beaterator website for a full list of features, demo videos and more.

A Short Film By Yi Zhou featuring Pharrell Williams

Inspired to Gogols short story, entitled The Nose, from the Petersburg tales, Yi has written her latest short film about the absurd story of the loss of an ear. The ear is actually the key element of the film, shot in RED and partly to be made in 3D animation. Throughout the film, the ear and inner ear as a whole turn themselves into an EarBridge as they get crossed by a bridge. The EarBridge is part of a public project proposal for Baku, Azerbaijan that includes a number of important international contemporary artists. The Ear features Pharrell Williams, music by Ennio Morricone, and costumes by Rick Owens and BBC/Ice Cream.

Before the Felix the Cat trading figures and Soul Eater Shinigami I grabbed from NYAF two weeks ago, I stopped collecting toys a few years back. However, something like this may start me up again. Designed by Rockin' Jelly Bean who happens to be a favorite artist of mine, this take on the Invisible Woman is by far the best. Licensed by Marvel (Most likely before Disney), this piece is set to be released only in Japan by Mamegyorai. It was sculpted by Yoshinori Yatake and is made from soft vinyl and PVC. I do not know the amount of production or the original cost, but what I can tell you is that it has yet to be released, out here in the States at least. However, It should be dropping soon. All the signs point to this month. It's available for pre-order all over the net and most likely local designer-toy stores, for anywhere from $100-$120+. Super Street Fighter IV

I knew this was coming. It was inevitable. The only noteworthy news is that new characters include T. Hawk and Dee Jay, along with a new character named Juri. The date's looking like Spring 2010.
I have yet to hone my skills within SF4 due to my lack of a PS3. Yeah, my collectors edition has just been sitting there gathering dust. However, I have gathered a bit of game time. My friends on the other hand are ridiculous. Wether it be on PlayStation or Xbox (God, I hate that D-Pad), they're beast. I look forward to playing once I get time to buy a PS3, which should be soon.

I'm not a fan of games like these: DDR, Guitar Hero, Rock Band, etc.. I wasn't sold on this game easy. Sorry to say, but the controller looks like a joke. However, after seeing the E3 footage of DJ Hero. I was interested. Even more so when the announced Day 'n' Nite. Being the Kid Cudi fan I am, I was a good "try it before I buy it" sold. Then a day or two ago I find out about this and I'm blown away. I'm sold. It's Daft Punk, so I know this game's going to be that good. And yes, I was always aware of the reputable DJ's working on this project. They're what made me even consider paying attention to this.
