Hello lovely's, remember me? Well basically this is my abandoned blog now, and in the next few days I will be deleting this account. I've grown so much as a person, and this blog was around when I was at my worst, I enjoyed the posts I wrote, and it helped me a lot, for example 'confessions of an online dater' - I now have a boyfriend and believe it or not, I didn't meet him on the internet!

I am the happiest I have ever been right now, and I look forward to my future, but this blog will not be in it!

Fear not! I have a new blog, I've set up a completely new account and I am going to try my absolute hardest to keep it up. I've pretty much finished college now so I am a level 3 qualified make-up artist, so expect different make-up posts.

I do hope many of you follow my new account, it's hard starting out again but it's just something I need to do. My first post is on London & IMATS.

What 2012 has taught me: Idea from Hannahjustyne

I saw this post on 'hannahjustyne's' blog, and thought it was a good idea so decided i wanted to do it :) some of it is quite down and in the dumps, but it ends positive, i promise :)

So this year started very shitty. I managed to lock my knee, resulting in me needing an operation on it and me not being able to do alot for a couple of months. Within the first week of 2012, i was at what i thought was my all time low, something happened and in the spurr of the moment took an overdose. It was the most selfish thing i had ever done, i didn't think about anyone else at the time, it was the scariest moment of my life and i couldn't believe i had done it. I was fine and i would never try that ever again, but the fact that i had felt low enough in myself to feel that was the only thing to do, must mean i was in a pretty bad place. I found the course i wanted to do, and everything was going against me being able to get on it, money etc.. There was nothing else in the world i wanted to do, or could do.

So i quit my job at clintons in the summer and attempted to move to magaluf, i lasted 2 and a half weeks and didn't particularly enjoy myself, so i gave up and came home. I might have given up, but when i think back, i must have been a pretty strong person to just have the guts to move abroad, on my own. I did the whole airport thing on my own which to me was a massive achievement!

When i came back from magaluf, i still wasn't sure if i was going to be able to get on the course, and i became heavily depressed, but come september, i finally made it onto the course, and because i was that happy i was doing what i want to do for the rest of my life, i overcame my depression, and i can now pretty much completely ignore any bad thoughts that come into my head, which considering i've had depression hanging over me since i was around 15, this is amazing.

My course is going well, but then my mum fell ill, and she's been in and out of hospital which has been very hard, but i've stayed strong for her, and funnily enough, this happening to her has brought me, my mum and my dad alot closer together, so every cloud has a silver lining. Not only was my mum in hospital, my grandma then broke her leg, which made everything harder but as a family we pulled through.

If 2012 has taught me anything, it's that i am a very very ambitious young woman and i am deffinately strong minded and i've learnt to make decisions and stick to my gut instinct. 2012 has been shitty, but i'm starting the year of 2013 in a sparkley dress, and full of alcohol, so bring it on!!

I have so much to look forward too this coming year, and i can't wait.

Christmas, Birthday, and Urban Decay.

Hello lovely's :)

So on the 22nd of December, I turned the big 21! It's come round so fast and it honestly feels like i'm still 18 or something. So I had a lovely carvery with my family and it was beautiful, pictures below..

And at night i had a party, to which i invited over 40 friends, and of which 2 turned up. My sister and her family and my mums best friends family came though so it was worth all the party food :) However when they arrived i was throwing a massive paddy upstairs because i had left my fat pants at my best friends house and i couldn't wear anything because i looked too fat. Hey, it was my birthday, i could cry if i wanted too, and i did :)

I then got over the whole situation once i had got some malibu down me and we went to town and i had a lovely night with the 2 true friends that did actually turn up :)

So what did i get for my birthday? unfortuneatley i haven't photographed any of my presents apart from my main one, if you would like to see let me know.

But i got a beautiful emerald and diamond ring from my grandma which was hers and will now be a family airloom if i ever have children.

I got a lovely silver bracelet, a lipsy purse, an airbrush gun (which is yet to come), my trip to magaluf in the summer just been, money and some ted baker makeup, all of which i am very grateful for.

I also got a make-up trolley for college, to be all professional haha! I chose it myself so i knew i was getting it but it's beautiful!

It fits in sooo much stuff :D

My big present which i was completely not expecting at all and my face was an absolute picture when i opened it, but it was the Urban Decay Vice Pallette.

It really is true, you get what you pay for and the colours are amazing. It opens itself aswell when you press the button, it's just amazing. I will do a proper review on it though.

Christmas..

Christmas day we all went round to my grandmas cottage, we arrived and sat in her big lounge an opened presents and it was just lovely, i haven't had a big christmas with that much family for a long while and it was just perfect.

So as you can see from the picture, i was a tiny bit spoilt. The 2 naked pallettes i just couldn't believe it. I wasn't expecting one after the one on my birthday, nevermind 2! So i was absolutely chuffed to bits! And i am so grateful for the gifts i did get :)

Then i did a make over for my grandma and my auntie, because we had a bit of time to kill before dinner and they wanted to see me in action haha!

Then we had our christmas lunch, and the table was set beautifully! The table was set with little decorations and napkins with each of our names embroided on them, it's those little touches that just made it so special to me.

Mmmmm!

Then i drank a lot of alcohol, we played charades and it was just the most perfect day :) Just a shame we have to wait another 12 months for the next one. Christmas is my favourite time of the year for definate.

I will do reviews on certain things in posts to come :)

Christmas time is by far my favourite time of the year. As soon as it hits end of November/December, my spirit generally lifts. When the christmas decorations come out, so does my big smile. I love it.

Everything just seems more beautiful and all of the shops get the decorations out and the christmas music comes on. I was in Rotheram town dancing the night away when it turned December 1st 2012 and the christmas songs came on and it genuinely made me so happy.

I am going to have a perfect christmas this year, we are having a big christmas and a special one for my grandma to make her happy as it could be her last, so it's going to be magical. Opening presents by the fire, chatting and nibbling, a massive christmas dinner around the dining table, drinks and games, i just can't wait, i really can't.

Although the temperature is minus degrees, it doesn't bring me down, it just makes me feel better because i get the warm fuzzy feeling knowing that i can warm up infront of the fire or have a nice warm bath & get my onesie on. It makes me feel a bit sad for those who won't be able to do that though. It's little comforts like that, that we take for granted i suppose.

Soon christmas will be over and it will be new year, and i can start looking forward to the christmas of 2013. Sorry for the random rambley christmas post, but i was feeling in the mood, and i will also point out none of those photos are mine, they are just pretty and pink :)

I love my college course.

I hope you all read and enjoyed my sophie post, if not, please go and check it out, it's worth it.

So I genuinely can't believe how fast this year has gone, the last thing I knew I had just applied for college and was planning Magaluf!

I have been at college for just over 3 months now and it's amazing how much i've learnt already and it makes me so excited as to how into this course I am, it makes me happy to know that i'm on the path to my dream career. I have had enough speed bumps along the way, but nothing is going to stop me. Giving 100% dedication will pay off in the end I hope.

I will put up some photos of some of the work I have done so you can check it out, obviously i'm not professional yet but i'm learning and i'm proud of what i've achieved and the only way is up :)

I'm sorry for the quality of the photos aswell and for any background mess, i don't usually have that much time to take a picture because it's at the end of a lesson so I do apologise.

My first attempt at a french plait, which I was very pleased with the outcome!

S.O.P.H.I.E foundation. {PLEASE READ}

Well i'm here for a post for the first time in months :) & it's a pretty important one.

As you may or may not know, i'm at college and out college course is sponsored by Illamasqua.

Illamasqua | Skin base foundation.

Well i'm ever so sorry i haven't been around recently, but i'm going to try my hardest to post more now i'm into the swing of college, after this post will be a sort of update and college post, so keep your eyes open :)

Anyway, today i have a bit of a review for you. As you may or may not know, my make-up kit for college is by illamasqua as they are sponsoring our college. We have 4 foundations which are the 'skin base' foundations.

Illamasqua says 'Inspired by the cult Asian market Beauty Balm creams, Skin Base Foundation is a brand new, refined formula unlike anything on the UK market. Easily blendable, it effortlessly creates a perfect complexion, and like the entire Illamasqua foundation range, is undetectable in a professional HD environment. Suitable for all skin types, it smoothes, softens and conditions your skin whilst providing natural, buildable coverage.'

Above are 3 of the colours that i have, SB 08, SB 01 and SB 11. Firstly i really like the packaging, i think it looks really smart, sleek and professional. However i will say i am a bit wary as with it being a squeezy tube i have a feeling that not all of the product will be useable because the tube is quite solid.

Above is the shade SB 01. This product really is quite unique. With all Illamasqua products, they can be mixed to make different colours. For example, if a shade of foundation is too dark, it can be mixed with this to make it lighter. I was surprised at first because i was expecting it to blend in clear, but to my surprise it blends white. This would be amazing if you wanted to do a geisha look.

Here you can see what it looks like when you start to blend it in, it looks a bit like paint or tipex so you can see why i was a bit miffed.

And here is it blended into the skin. As you can see it deffinately isn't as harsh when it's blended in and it does give the 'porcelin' complexion.

Above are also examples of the shade SB 08, so once again you can see that it really does give a lovely finish. When it's on the skin it isn't cakey either, it just blends into a nice finish and it doesn't really feel like you've got anything on. I would highly reccomend these foundations, but deffinately try first as the £27 pound price tag is a bit steep in my opinion, but i suppose you get what you pay for.

I was really scared when i first made my blog, because i thought people were going to judge me & stuff. I thought that they wouldn't care what i had to say because i wasn't a professional or anything, but everyone is so supportive & welcoming & it makes it all worth while.

♥ Friendship ♥

I genuinely believe that you can make friendships through blogging. Already I have met people that i believe will become good friends to me in the future. There are people that are just generally so lovely & it makes me so happy when my phone pings to say i've got a new comment, it's lovely! It's just annoying that there's not a quicker way to reply, thats why i forget sometimes because i read them on my phone :(

Before i found out about the beauty community online & blogging & youtube and what not, i literally knew nothing about make-up and products whatsoever. Now, if a new product is coming out or already out, within a week or so, i know about it thanks to blogging. It opens your eyes to products you never even knew could have exsisted.

♥ Inspiration ♥

I love to sit and read through blogs, and click other peoples followers randomly to come accross new blogs & be inspired. This is probably my favourite thing about blogging. From becoming part of this, i now always want to bake, want to try new products, want to decorate, i'm just always inspired! It's great!

♥ Ranting/chatting to myself ♥

Now anyone that reads my blog regularly knows that i like to have a good old rant or write a long massive essay (confessions of an online dater). I just love that i have somewhere to write it all. Yes, i could keep a diary, but it's not as fun. & some of my rants, i guess people can relate to them, or my random chats might make someone laugh, and that to me is a reason to share it with you guys, and i suppose it's like documenting random bits of my life, they will be on here forever :) but i do love a good rant!

♥ My Blogging Aim ♥

Obviously i am aiming towards becoming a make-up artist. I don't really have an aim for my blog, but in the future, it would be nice to be invited to something like a release of a new product or something, they look very fun & glamourous. & i hope to become more recognisable through my blog as a make-up artist (obviously once i've finished my make-up course).

♥ Blogging Tip ♥

Be appreciative. Mention other blogs that maybe don't have as many followers as you do. I have seen the fair few bloggers & youtubers that have a lot of followers & what not, and they only really mention eachother. If i see potential and i like a blog & feel everyone else needs to see it, i'm going to tell you all, they deserve to be seen. Networking is good & it makes you some great friends :)

♥ Blogger who has inspired me ♥

To be honest, the 2 people that inspired me in the first place, were Becky of http://makeupbybextacy.blogspot.co.uk/ & Serena of http://lovesprettywildthings.blogspot.co.uk/ - I had been watching both of these girls on youtube for ages & i emailed them both, along with a few others, and these 2 are the only ones that replied, a bit like what i was talking about in my tip. They inspired me to start up myself, and i did, and now i love it. I love both of the girls personalitys and if you aren't aware of either of them, go and check them out.

Since blogging, there have been 3 main inspirations that need mentioning, but they have been mentioned in a previous post that you can read Here .. Lea, Beth & Sara, also michelle of Just Smile - These girls comment on pretty much every post, and it is the most lovely thing, I love you girls :)

Confessions of an online dater.

I've not done an online dating post in a while, and as i'm still single, i thought i would make another post, they seem to be fairly popular and a fair amount of you seem to enjoy reading them, so why not include you on my journey.

I'm going to go through a few 'types' or scenarios.

First, you have the guys who you look at them, you see their pictures and you find them attractive, you read their profile, it's all going well... until it says 'wanting a slim beautiful girl' or 'wanting a fit girl' or 'wanting someone older' - then you are left feeling a bit bummed.

Then you have those that are what you are looking for, they have a good profile, seems you have a lot in common, you send them a message, and you get no reply. Once again, leaving you feeling a bit bummed.

The worst, is when it's the above, they email you first, all is going well, you've had a fairly long conversation (bearing in mind on your profile it says 'looking for a relationship' 'long term', and usually theirs says that too). So the conversations going well, 'so what are you actually looking for'.. 'well i've just split up with my ex, so a bit of fun' ........ STOP WASTING MY TIME!! Then you get those that have just split up with their ex and want to discuss their problems with you.. HELLO... I'm not an agony aunt!!!

Then there's the guys who mail you, you don't reply because you aren't attracted, they then go on to send you the exact same message over and over again.

Then there's the one's who don't know how to read. Now on my profile, it's pretty detailed, so that they know what they are dealing with. You know, my age, what my interests are and what not, but i still get mails saying 'so where you from bbz? what do you like doing then? how old r u?' if you aren't going to take the time to read my profile, i'm not going to take the time to reply to your message :)

Then there's the full on arrogant ones. Some guy mailed me the other day just saying 'x' so i viewed his profile and thought i would give him a chance, i complemented his body, to which his reply was just 'correct' - wow.

As i've been writing this, i'm just wondering to myself, why the hell am i still on there? I will find someone someday, just got to keep browseing i suppose. :)

I hope this was slightly entertaining for you, and for those of you who have been wondering wether to go on a website or not, brace yourself for encountering some of the above :)

It's all fun & games though.

Hello Lovely's.

I haven't done a make-up post in a while, and that upsets me a bit, nothing makes me feel better than getting a brand new product, i'm sure you will all understand where i'm coming from? The new packaging and what not.

I took the plunge yesterday & bought my first MAC lipstick. Now i'm very reluctant to spend my money as it is, and i usually have to justify everything in my head before i buy it, but yesterday, i just thought, what the hell. I hadn't bought anything since before Magaluf due to extremely low funds, so yesterday, i went for it.

The colour i chose was 'Hang-up'. I first came accross this in Magaluf because one of the girls was wearing it and i thought it looked really nice & i asked to borrow it and i liked it on myself. It's a bit daring and out there but i really liked it anyway.

The colour is described as a deep berry, but i would say it is more brownish. The picture doesn't show the true colour, and i have edited it, but the picture is more true to colour now than it was before editing.

It's a very different colour and i hadn't seen anything like it before, so paying £14 for it seemed worth it to me & i hurridly paid for it before i got chance to change my mind! As far as i remember, it stays on your lips for a fair while and it isn't particularly drying.

If you want to be that shade braver and want to try something a little bit different, this colour is very beautiful and i would deffinately reccomend it. I would probably wear it with very toned down eye make-up because otherwise it could maybe look too dramatic.

I can't believe it's blog hop #22. I'm pretty sure i last did this when it was around #3 or #4, that is herendous! But i'm back now :) & ready to get back into the swing of things.

Aaaanyway, thought i would do another one to get myself out there a bit and make a few more friends because it warms my heart when i get comments, its lovely, especially you loyal followers you!

I feel i should mention them right now, i'm not sure if they are on the blog hop (i've not checked through the list yet, but you need to check these girls out. These 3 (along with some others and i'm sorry if i've missed you :( ) have been there since i began pretty much.. Haha that sounds like i'm saying since i was born. They've been there since my blog began, that's better.

If i post and get an email from a comment, it's generally from one of these beauties and the fact that they still read my blog makes me feel happy :) Anyway, onto those 3.

First is Lea of 'It's Such A Wonderful Life' She's one of the ones i've been following since pretty much her blog began too, and its nice to see she has so many followers now because she truly deserves them! Second is Beth of 'Birds Words' She is beautiful and her blog is so cute! And last but not least is SaraJayne of 'Goldilocksx0' Again she is another who has followed me since my blog began, as have i with hers. Its great to see how far she's come! Her blog is also lovely! Magaluf 2012

Hello Lovely's.

So, for those of you that have been reading my blog for however long now, and have stuck by me through my absence and what not, here is the much awaited magaluf post, only a month late. I will warn you, the last couple of pictures may be offensive or too vulgar for some people, but you have been warned. I chose the pictures lightly because there really were some bad (and really quite naked ones) that i didn't feel everyone needed to see haha!

I lasted 2 and a half weeks there, and i was severly bitten by bed bugs and had my fair share of ups and downs. I pretty much got no tan whatsoever, but it was a different experience. For those of you who have no idea what i'm on about, i will give you a little information. Basically, i decided i wanted to work abroad, so i booked a place with a company and went on my own - proud moment.

The first couple of days were good, getting drunk & what not, until you then realise you've spent more money than you thought and then realise you probably are going to be struggling. You begin to get over that initial meeting phase and start getting to know the real people you are living with, in my case, i had someone who had the same sort of personality as me and we were both quite fiery, resulting in having to hold my tongue alot making it quite uncomfortable.

I realised that being there with 3 other girls, we really are quite messy creatures. Now i thought my room at home could get quite bad, but that was NOTHING compared to what our room got like in magalluf. nothing. So a few nights my motherly instincts kicked in, and i stayed in and tidied just because i couldn't bare to live in it, for it to then be exactly the same the next day.

The first images i am going to show you, are of how bad our bed bugs were, everyone else got bit, but they seemed to take a particular interest in my body, and it really was quite herendous. As far as i'm concerned, that in itself was a big enough reason to come home!

So as you can see, i was viciously attacked. Not very attractive and i still have the scars which is annoying!

Anyway, onto the more, fun pictures.

These pictures were from my first night 'UV themed bar crawl' - a pretty messy night but i managed to make it to the last bar! Impressive eh?

The above image and the image below, are just showing how much of a cool kid i really am. Who am i trying to kid? What a loser haha! Or embarassment.. or both? Alcohol was slightly involved in this, and it really brings out my double chin haha!

Dressed up for the newbies bar crawl in school girl, i'm aware i look a bit out there, boobies hanging out and all that, but it's for fun i guess.

In the first bar we went in, charlotte from geordie shore was sat outside with her friends, so in fairness, we shouldn't have bothered her, but we did. We sat down and i was like... has anyone noticed charlotte is there? at this point, nobody noticed so i didnt want to go up to her, but then everyone noticed and crowded round her, i was just like, what the hell? But i managed to get a photo and she said she didn't mind because i apologised for interupting her with her friends, aparently she had been egged that night. One thing i will say is, she seems alot different when she's not being filmed for geordie shore, quite quiet.

Another bar crawl in army theme. A post to come on that lipstick i'm wearing, i love it! These are more posey, i thought i needed posey ones to go with the ridiculous ones.

On my last night with my new found best irish friend called steph. We are both 4ft11 so we looked cute walking together and dancing together. She literally is THE most colourful person i have ever met, its pretty amazing. She gave me a multi-coloured garland to 'start off your colourful collection' bless her! So hopefully a trip to ireland in the future!

Me and heather in our free t-shirts, i had been up all night, and this was at around 6 in the morning before i left, so i look pretty dead. Bed bug bites still visible :(

And this is what i had to put up with. Though pretty hilarious. No word of a lie, i was waved off with the guys dressed like that, and the front view is not pretty, but i didn't think you needed to see the pictures of it. I got on the coach and just said 'i apologise for my naked friends' They all saw the funny side of it and it was deffinately the best send off i could have had.

So this brings me to the end of the post, i hope you found it a slight bit interesting or funny.

Hello lovely's.

Now i'm guessing from the title you probably already know what this post is going to be about. It's a bit off topic but i couldn't not write about it, you guys need informing if you weren't already aware or haven't already seen it!!

I took advantage of orange wednesdays yesterday & went to see Magic Mike. Now i've always been a fan of Channing Tatum anyway, but now i'm just in love even more. Lady's, if you enjoy hunky men & 6 pacs and you just want to indulge yourself in it, this is that film.

I wouldn't really reccommend going to see it with parents or boyfriends, its pretty raunchy and if you sort of feel awkward (those moments when your sat with your parents in the living room and a condom advert comes on or something and nobody knows where to look..) this isn't a good one.

The cinema was around 98% women/girls. Although there were 2 random boys sat on our own that came in on their own, not sure if they felt awkward or not haha! Channing Tatum & the rest of the guys are looking insanely hot and ripped. I will deffinately be getting this on DVD when it comes out so that i can watch it over & over again, perv much?

As far as the story line goes, it's not too bad, but it's not an amazing one, not that it mattered because i was paying no attention to that what so ever, i was just waiting for the stripping :')

But anyway lady's as i say, if you are into hunky men & Channing Tatum, go and see this... now.

Hello my lovely's!

Thought I dissapeared from the face of the earth?.. I might as well have done. I promised I would be back straight away, and i do apologise for not being - but im going to be totally honest. I lost my mojo. I had no inspiration or desire to write. I had a break (a very big one at that). But i'm finally getting my blogging mojo back & i have so much to ramble on about.. you lucky readers you!

So what has been taking over my life you may ask? Well.. I've had pretty much no money, so i have avoided shops at all costs, i have instead, spent too much time on the xbox, on minecraft. Now for those of you that don't know what minecraft is, basically it is a pixelated game that you would imagine to be herendously boring. This game is the most simple, yet most addictive and time consuming game i have ever come accross. I'm not sure if you were all aware that i am a pretty massive xbox geek, but you are now.

Basically, you dig blocks, and build stuff, out of square blocks, cool right? ok maybe not, but i like it. Above is a picture of what someone has made from minecraft (i found the image on google, so i haven't build that) but if any of you would be interested to see i may look into getting pictures (let me know)

So, it's been over 2 months, and i still have 69 of you lovely followers! And some of you are lovely enough to still comment, and i am extremely greatful & i feel i haven't been good enough, but i'm back.

I want to say another huge thank you for your support & i will be back on thursday with the magaluf news and college news and what not. Unfortuneatley i won't be able to do any hauls because i have no pennies, but i'm sure i will have enough to write about in the mean time :)

Going to give the blog a revamp soon too, now i have photoshop back.

Guess who's back.

Hey lovely's!
So i'm now back in the UK after a shaky flight & getting sick 4 times on the airoplane! I did the whole airport buisness on my own which i am so proud of myself for! But i'm glad to be back at home!

I was gone for just over 2 weeks which doesn't sound too long, but when it's a week or something, it's sort of like a holiday & living in those sort of conditions isn't too bad, but when you are constantly having to live in mess & it's stupidly sweaty when you are trying to sleep, or you just nod off and your room mates come bursting through the door at 5 in the morning, it gets tiring.

I'm not saying i didn't enjoy it, i just couldn't live there for the summer. I genuinely missed blogging whilst i was out there, i lost my mojo for writing before i left, but i'm pretty sure it's back now, and obviously i don't have a job at the moment so maximum effort will be put in for you guys :)

Another magaluf post to come with pictures & stories, some embarassing & some funny :) & then back to normal :)

Coping away from home.

Hello lovely's, it's me again! Long time no speak!
So i've currently been in magaluf for 2 weeks. Taking that plunge to just go for it on my own and what not was hard. Before leaving, and probably because it was such a quick decision, i didn't really get nervous or anything, i just wanted to go but after being here, i've realised it just isn't me anymore.

The fun wears off and i've realised that dealing with rowdy drunk people just isn't my thing. I've been bitten like you wouldn't believe & i haven't seen the sun as much as i would have hoped. Don't get me wrong, i have enjoyed myself, but staying out here just won't really suit me.

I miss my blogging, and to be honest, i sort of miss british weather, interesting right? I am proud of myself for being brave and taking that leap, but i also think i'm brave for realising i've made yet another mistake (the first being choosing the wrong university & course). I don't regret coming out here, but i can't wait to come home. I've met amazing people & i 100% have developed as a person (i may possibly have now grown up?)

So hopefully within the next couple of weeks i will be back to my blogging & what not & giving you my stories :) I have missed you all!

Ladies, i need your help!

So as you probably are aware, i'm off to magaluf. Now in terms of make-up, im sorted, all apart from foundation. I was just wondering what anyone would reccomend i buy? I've been looking for a tinted moisturizer but i can't find one to save my life, & i've been looking at BB creams.
I don't want anything that's going to be too heavy, i don't want anything oily, and i need it to give me coverage. I've seen a couple of bad reviews of BB creams, but then again, i wasn't really looking for BB creams so i wasn't searching, what are your views or is there a foundation you would reccomend?

Anything that is under £10 would be helpful.

I can't believe it's a week away! it's madness how this year has gone! I'm deffinately changing as a person though. Usually i will look to the downside and think negatively, but i'm just staying calm & working around the problems :) I'm not worrying, just sorting & looking forward too it.

My good old mum bless her, i don't think she ever wants me to leave. As much as she dislikes me when i'm at home and she literally finds any excuse to get mad at me (she's admitted this), she is going to find it difficult to get over. I am honestly so grateful to all of my family for helping make this happen for me, especially my dad. Without their support, i would deffinately not be doing it!

Handing my notice into work was a nice feeling! I have 2 shifts left & then i am done :) Just need to get on to that blummin tax man now! I don't even have a tax code, yet he's still taking over 80 a month off me! pure daylight robbery going off!

Everything happens for a reason.

I've done it. I've booked it. This time in 2 weeks i should be soaking up the sun in magaluf! I was going to go to zante, but the guy never got back to me. I was so stressed out because i was desperate to know what was happening. I started thinking of alternatives incase he didnt get back to me and i came accross playaway. There was one space left for the magaluf booking & he told me that one other person was going to book today, they were waiting for them to ring back. I got in there and handed the money over first.

5th june i am flying out to magaluf & i have accomodation for 4 weeks, so its the start of a new adventure! A bit nervous because i don't know anyone, and everyone else going seems to already know everyone because they've been booked for a while, but i'm sure i will be fine!

I do have my glossybox & i will be doing a review & what not of that within the next couple of days, but obviously i am going to be pretty busy as its just over a week away! I probably won't be able to post because i won't be taking my laptop with me, but the longest i will be gone is 3 months, and i will be back to start college. So that means that i will be able to show you all of the creative things i will be learning.

Here's to the start of a new journey for me, lets see how it goes!

Internet & insomnocturnalism? Essayyyyy!

So, from the title, i think i made that word up. Insomnocturnalism. I literally cannot describe how annoying my sleeping pattern is - i say pattern, but there is no pattern to it whatsoever.

How did my insomnia/nocturnalism (that's not a word either i don't think, but you get the picture) start? I personally blame the internet. From the age of around 10/11 i've had a computer or laptop. Back then i only had a nokia 3310, and all people really ever did on them was play snake, we never had credit. It wasn't like it is now, 8 year olds have iphones now, ridiculous, how they have (if they have) lives is beyond me with the world being on facebook & twitter now. Atleast i know that up to 11 years old, i knew how to climb trees, play tiggy & hide and seek, now i imagine they just ring eachother and tell eachother where they are!

So, back when i was an 11 year old internet obsesser.. MSN days, i'm sure you all remember it. From that young age, i was completely obsessed. Msn, Habbo Hotel (Loooool! - yes, what a loser), Piczo & Bebo. I never got the hang of myspace or i probably would have had that too. But i was hooked on this online world (a bit like i am now). Now although at the younger ages, 12 - 13, i still went out a lot and played with my friends but after a while i had got used to talking to people online & i felt i needed to be online 24/7.

I genuinely felt that if i wasn't online at any point, i would be missing out on something. Obviously back then, it wasn't how it is now, if i want to (or even dont want to know something) all i have to do is have a quick look on facebook. Wahlah, i know what everyone is eating for dinner, where everyone's been and what not.. Obviouslybecause i do now know whats happening & things like that, its not a problem anymore, but back then, it was huge. I started staying in all the time, even if nobody was online, just incase that one person i wanted to talk too came online.

My life revolved around making my piczo look pretty, making my bebo look pretty, making my msn name look pretty - i could change it up to 5 times a day if i got bored with it or thought someone else's looked better. Was that normal? Did any of you have any of the problems above or feel like you were missing out? & did anyone else have habbo? HAHA!

Did the internet change me into the person i am today? yes. 100%, without the internet, i could not cope - i hold my hands up now, i couldn't. And i probably would get extreme problems with anxiety or something if i had to live without it now. Why is this anything to do with sleeping? From that age of 11 and staying up all night on the internet, my sleeping pattern was messed up from then on. All nighters and sleeping all day is how i've lived since i was 11 years old.

No matter how much i try - sleeping tablets etc.. i seem to fall back into that same pattern of staying up & then having to do an all nighter to sort my sleeping out, for it to then just go back to the way it was. Alot of people i know don't understand it - i don't even understand it, but i've come to terms with the fact that, that is how i am right now. I heard on the news recently that sleep patterns are changing in teens and younger children, i didn't hear why, but i can pretty much bet it's the internet.

It's 6:36 in the morning now, i've been awake since 4oclock yesterday afternoon, i went to sleep before that at 7am yesterday morning. Today, i won't be sleeping until atleast 11pm. Can you become nocturnal? Have i become nocturnal? I always knew i wasn't a morning person, but it seems now, i'm not even an afternoon person & i wake up mid afternoon if i can. I find it easier to sleep in the day.

Was all that writing pointless? Probably, but it would be interesting to know if any of you have the same problem as me, or if you have had it and sorted it. I am hopefully booking my flight between now or friday - so i will be off to sunny zante! I found out today my friend can't come with me though, so i will be doing it completely alone, SCARED! But over there, my sleeping pattern should suit me brilliantly.

Sunday Scales & Ramblings #003.

I'm back for week 3, I decided this was the best day to get back into my posting, so for now, i'm back, and a little bit more upbeat haha!

I was just about to tuck into my sunday dinner, got about 1 potatoe down me, and then realised that it was sunday and i needed to weigh myself. I wasn't going to do it after the massive dinner i was about to eat, so i quickly jumped up, and stood on the weighing scales. 10stone5.8. So closed to 10stone6, but either way, i'm happy with that! I've hit my goal of losing a pound :D yay! I have drunk a bottle of water most days, so that goal isn't completely fullfilled, & i haven't been on the crosstrainer again, so that isn't either.

I know the reason i've lost some though, not eating fast food as much. I work in a shopping center & i get to work an hour before because of public transport so i just get a subway, mcdonalds or kfc before work. I have had 1 kfc this week and it was a snackbox, so that clearly must be it, because i haven't really done much else different apart from drinking a bit extra water.

I will be going on the crosstrainer the moment i have finished this post as i am feeling a little bit more positive about it now. goals for this week:
♥ - lose a pound again.
♥ - go on the crosstrainer twice (maybe more reachable goal)
♥ - have fast food only once this week.

001. This week has still been a bit of a blur, a boring blur in which my mind has been all over the place & back again.
002. Working in retail just isn't for me i don't think. For now, my mind is abroad, that's what i want to try (just incase you hadn't already worked that out from previous post's ;) I'm not going to lie, i'm extremely scared to think i might even consider doing it, but i'm sure it will be a great experience and learning curve for me.
003. My mum has finally come to terms with the fact that i want to go away. I went to uni but after 3 weeks i came back every weekend, so the thought of me gone for 2 months scares her & she is finding it very hard to let me go. But she's taking it on board now bless her!
004. I'm learning new things out about my best friends recently, one of them is acting very different and i don't know how to deal with her changing, she's become very sneaky and stuff and it's wierd. I'm the only one out of my friends that is single, and it's been that way for ages now & it annoys me how many times i've been bummed off for said boyfriends, but when they want me there, they expect me to come running, frustrating.

Thank you to you absolute lovely's that always comment & read my posts (even if they are depressing or boring) - you girls know who you are & you girls are who i see being good friends in the future, thanks for support :)

Me so sorry.

I'm extremely sorry for the lack of blogging the past few days. For a fair few reasons, i've just not wanted to, or had nothing to blog about. & i would rather not do forced reviews of random products just so i get a post up, i would rather want to blog about it, so sorry chaps!

Everything just seems so confusing at the moment & one minute i think i know what i want, the next i'm so confused about it all again! I'm not going to lie, i got minecraft for the xbox a few days ago and i've become obsessed with that since i was having a bad day, and it completely takes my mind away from anything else. If you haven't been on it before, although it looks like it was made in about 1990 (it probably was) - it's extremely addictive!

I also haven't got the funds to buy new products & what not as i don't get paid until next week, so that's another reason i've been away for a while, it depresses me seeing all the products people have when i can't buy anything myself.

I'm also highly considering (and i mean around 99% sure) that i am going to go abroad for a couple of months. If any of you fancy it, please please please get in touch! or any information whatsoever you could give me to help me, i honestly would appreciate it!

There will probably be more updates of 'confessions of an online dater' coming up aswell as i am back on that scene. As much as i miss talking to him, i know that when one door shuts, another one opens, in this case im pretty sure it's going to be going abroad.

My friend is trying to set me up with someone, but can you set people up if they really aren't in the mindset to be with someone? I think that's what it is, i've been single for so long, i expect a lot from a partner to be now. I know i can be on my own, so unless he can prove to me that he's worth me commiting, what's the point. Would that class me as being independant? or just scared? So if im in this mindset, no commitments, surely this is the right time to go exploring and go and have fun!
