Indiana Lady Prospects: Class of 2027 Continuing to Actively Recruit & Building Roster

2024-10-12T15:44:00.005-04:00

High School Coaches & players, the Lady Prospects c/o 2027 is actively recruiting to complete our roster of talented #studentathletes. Additionally, we will be hosting a series of evaluations with respect to high school seasons beginning. The spots available are not ‘just filling spots.’ We have not and will not roster student-athletes and not play them.

Being a Prospect means the student-athlete belongs to a program w/tradition. In the past, we have hosted college trips, camps, and assisted with recruiting. We take pride in saying we helped assist in generating over $20 million in scholarships and financial assistance, Simply, putting the student-athlete first layouts the path to success.

Thank you for your interest in the program and in the blog entry.

The Louisville Prospects-End of an Era

2021-07-15T13:09:00.000-04:00

End of an era for the #Louisville Prospects. Our boys program will conclude its run of 10+ years beginning August 1st.

We helped a bunch of kids and their families, made some great friends and enjoyed much success. However, it is time.

It is time to see what else is out there. Time to give back in other ways. Our girls’ program is building and getting stronger. We look forward to years of success for the young ladies that call us home!

Certainly, it took many hands and many kids and their families trusting us to deliver throughout the 10-+ years. We want to thank all of those involved, some definitely more than others!

Thank y’all!

Blake Morgan

6'4 F, Desales High School

More info to come..

Spring Update:

Blake showed tremendous improvement throughout the spring AAU session. Getting better every game and posting some big numbers in our last tournament in May, including a 22 point - 20 rebound game. Blake has great moves in the post to finish against bigger defenders and also has the ability to step out and knock down a 3 consistently. While some opponents may be more athletic than Blake, Blake more than makes up for it with his ability to get position for a rebound or a defensive rotation. Excited to see his continued growth in July.

Cole Davis

6'2 Guard, South Oldham High School

More info coming..

Junior Year Stats:

13.9 PPG, 51% FG, 41% 3PT, 4.4 RPG, 3.8 APG

Interest: midway university, new albany college of pharmacy, St. Leo, Lindsey Wilson, Wabash College

Spring Update

We welcome Cole to the Prospects for the July AAU period. Cole is a guard with good size and athleticism. He has put down multiple highlight dunks, but his most impressive quality is his efficiency. Cole shot 41% from 3 and 51% from the field while averaging nearly 14 points per game. He has a smooth jumper from outside and uses his size to get to the rim and finish over defenders. Cole is in for a big July!

2021-07-08T02:30:00.002-04:00

Rico Carr-Cole

5'10 Guard, Desales High School

More info coming..

Junior Year Stats:

14.8 PPG, 4.4 APG, 40% FG, 32% 3PT

Interest: St. Leo (DII)

Spring Update:

Rico joins us for the July AAU period. Rico is a super quick and shifty guard that has the ability to score from everywhere on the court. He consistently beats his primary defender off the dribble and either gets to his spot or finds the open man. He showed his scoring ability with multiple 30-point games in high school summer league. Rico is also a fantastic teammate, always cheering his team on or picking up his teammates on the court. Excited to have him for the July period.

Congratulations to Cam (PG) and his Bullitt East Basketball teammates on winning the 6th Region Championship, heading to Rupp for state and also for Cam being named to the 6th Region All-Tourney Team.

Really excited about Cam joining the program. Cannot say enough about the Brogan family, especially after Cam's older brother, Hunter (Bellarmine), was a member. Cam shows maturity, and poise for a sophomore running the show at BE. Watching him, it doesn't seem the game is too fast for him or too big for the young man. We are excited about having him in the program, but eager to see what his future holds. Enjoy the process Cam!

We could not be more pleased about adding this young man. Welcome Hayden Garten and the Garten family. As a varsity member of Silver Creek's squad, it is easy to see what Hayden brings to the table.

A form on his shot, that is typical Indiana, a hustle and desire to be a great teammate and winner, but the thing that impressed us was talking with the young man. Hayden has all the tools to be really good.

We had the pleasure of evaluating Keaton, working him out for an hour before inviting him into the program. About 15 minute into the workout, we could tell he was a good fit. Knowing his JV coach, Brent Kidwell, having played with us several years ago, it did give us insight into what to expect. We were not disappointed.

Keaton has great length, shoots it well, and has the desire to be better and improve. A true student-athlete, that will add skill to our class of 2024 squads. There will be much more to include on his player profile in the future.

Interest: Gannon University

Welcome Brady and the Moore family to the program. We have watched Brady numerous times this 2020-21 basketball season and the young man just fits! Fundamental, high basketball IQ, and a relentless drive that all matches his on-floor talent. A quality, high-character student-athlete that joins two other Floyd Central High School teammates, Kyle Poates and Cole Harritt for this upcoming travel ball season.

This profile page will be full after this season, as we are fully aware of what Brady brings to the table. Super excited to have him, his Floyd Central teammates and are looking forward to this season.

Spring Update: Brady had a very successful spring session of the AAU season. He showcased his ability to score at all three levels and can defend multiple positions. At 6'5, his quickness is a matchup problem for most bigs and his frame gives him an advantage over smaller guards. We are looking forward to him continuing his strong season when the team resumes play in July.

**March 2021 Update**

Congratulations to Hagan, his Boyle County teammates and Coach Webb on winning the 12th Region Championship and heading to Rupp for the state tourney.

Welcome Hagan Webb and his family to the program. A gym rat, plays with a good pace, and goal-orientated winner, Hagan should fit nicely! Son of a high school coach, so maybe we learn something! A true student-athlete with a work ethic, passion for the game and to get better, are reasons recruiting him and getting to know him some were a good experience. More to come from this young man...

Spring Update

Hagan showed his toughness and scoring ability during the spring AAU session. Hagan takes tremendous pride in guarding the opponent's best player and attacks each possession like it's crunch time. While he plays the guard spot, he rebounds like a big on both ends of the court. He also showed his ability to score in a variety of ways, going on multiple 6-8 point runs on his own. Look for him to really shine in July.

Austin joined us late in July, but his impact was immediate! He exemplifies the true team player, in coming off the bench, forcing turnovers and becoming an essential contributor to our team's success. While he has had little time to become acclimated with new teammates and plays, his play has not been indicative of this as he has great chemistry with team mates and the coaching staff.

We are thrilled to have Austin in our program, as he is the model Prospect. Hard working, coachable and a dedicated student of the game. As we head into play in September and Labor Day weekend, coaches should be on the look out for Austin in the Battle of the Bluegrass Fall League.

Kyle joins us late in 2020, but basketball doesn't stop! He is what you expect from Indiana basketball players, fundamental, disciplined, and possesses a true love for the game, but it is what else you got that is special. His feel for the game is huge asset and he plays with his head up at all times, which translates to excellent court vision.

We are thrilled to have Kyle and his family involved with the program, as we look to the future of the Prospects, and more importantly, to the future of Kyle Poates. As we head into play in September and Labor Day weekend, Kyle will be with his new team in Indy and then back in Louisville, in league play.

Spring 2021 Update

Kyle demonstrated his ability to efficiently run the show on offense, getting everyone on the court involved. He led the team in assists and steals during the spring AAU session. He also rebounds the ball exceptionally well from the point guard position. He is dangerous in the pick-and-roll, punishing bigger defenders on a switch or making the correct read against the help defense. While he is a pass-first point guard, he can score when he wants to by getting to and finishing at the basket, or stopping on a dime for a mid-range pull-up. Kyle is in store for a big July!
