All photos you can see on this page is just a few of hundreds of beautiful places you can find in the province of Palawan. One of the many wonderful places in the Philippines. Palawan is known as the largest province of the Philippines in terms of total area of jurisdiction.

Palawan Island is 280 miles long and 31 miles wide plus a lot of islands sorrounded on the main land. If you picture the map of Palawan, it lookslike a closed umbrella.

From the northern part of Palawan, there are the Municipalities of Busuanga, Coron, Culion and Linapacan. Coron

is one of the first class municipality.

It stretch in Mindoro on the northeast part of the island and on Borneo on the southwest part. And Balabac Island is located off on the southern tip of Palawan.

While the capital of Palawan is located in the central main land of the Island known as Puerto Princesa City.

There are different dialects that people used to speak but our main language to be known as "Palaweno" is "cuyunin" and our very own "tagalog", both are commonly used as our main languages in the Island.

From the

Northern part to the southern part of the island, you can view a lot of beautiful sugar-white sandy beaches, rivers, hot spring and waterfalls.

You can still find virgin forrests in the Island. You can even find a unique islets, mountain rocks, coral reefs, stalactite and stalagmite that you never ever

seen in your entire life.

Now, there are more

developed resorts which can be a world class, and still there are lots of First class beaches that are under constructions and will open to the public soon.

You can also find a unique place that can belong to a wonders of the world like our very own under ground river.

Now a days, Palawan is known as one of the most favorite place to visit by the local people, celebrities, politicians and a lot of tourists from around the world.

They were even choosing Palawan as their favorite venues for their vacation, wedding, birthday, anniversary celebration and many occasions.

AURORA: "Northern Lights"
An aurora is a natural light display in the sky, particularly in the polar regions, caused by the collision of charged particles directed by the Earth's magnetic field. An aurora is usually observed at night and typically occurs in the ionosphere. It is also referred to as polar lights. These phenomena are commonly visible between 60 and 72 degrees north and south latitudes,these are infrequent and often invisible to the naked eye.
In northern latitudes, the effect is known as the aurora borealis (or the northern lights).The chance of visibility of the aurora borealis increases with proximity to the North Magnetic Pole. The aurora borealis most often occurs near the equinoxes. The northern lights have had a number of names throughout history. The Cree call this phenomenon the "Dance of the Spirits". In Europe, in the Middle Ages, the auroras were commonly believed a sign from God.
Auroras can be spotted throughout the world and on other planets. They are most visible closer to the poles due to the longer periods of darkness and the magnetic field.

GREAT BARRIER REEF:

The Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest reef system composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching for over 2,600 kilometres (1,600 mi) over an area of approximately 344,400 square kilometres (133,000 sq mi). The reef is located in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland in north-east Australia.
The Great Barrier Reef can be seen from outer space and is the world's biggest single structure made by living organisms. This reef structure is composed of and built by billions of tiny organisms, known as coral polyps. This reef supports a wide diversity of life, and was selected as a World Heritage Site in 1981. CNN labeled it one of the seven natural wonders of the world.A large part of the reef is protected by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, which helps to limit the impact of human use, such as fishing and tourism.

GRAND CANYON:

The Grand Canyon is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in the United States in the state of Arizona. It is largely contained within the Grand Canyon National Park, one of the first national parks in the United States.
The Grand Canyon is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (1.83 km) (6000 feet). Nearly two billion years of the Earth's geological history have been exposed as the Colorado River and its tributaries cut their channels through layer after layer of rock while the Colorado Plateau was uplifted. While the specific geologic processes and timing that formed the Grand Canyon are the subject of debate by geologists,recent evidence suggests the Colorado River established its course through the canyon at least 17 million years ago.Since that time, the Colorado River continued to erode and form the canyon to the point we see it at today.

PARICITIN:
Parícutin is a cinder cone volcano in the Mexican state of Michoacán. It appears on many versions of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Paricutín is part of the Michoacán-Guanajuato Volcanic Field, which covers much of west central Mexico. The volcano began as a fissure in a cornfield owned by a P'urhépecha farmer, Dionisio Pulido, on February 20, 1943. Pulido, his wife, and their son all witnessed the initial eruption of ash and stones first-hand as they plowed the field. The volcano grew quickly, reaching five stories tall in just a week, and it could be seen from afar in a month. Much of the volcano's growth occurred during its first year, while it was still in the explosive pyroclastic phase. The nearby villages Paricutín and San Juan Parangaricutiro were both buried in lava and ash; the residents relocated to vacant land nearby.
At the end of this phase, after roughly one year, the volcano had grown 336 meters (1,100 ft) tall. For the next eight years the volcano would continue erupting, although this was dominated by relatively quiet eruptions of lava that would scorch the surrounding 25 km² (9.7 mi²) of land. The volcano's activity would slowly decline during this period until the last six months of the eruption, during which violent and explosive activity was frequent. In 1952 the eruption ended and Parícutin went quiet, attaining a final height of 424 meters (1,390 ft) from the cornfield where it began. The volcano has been quiet since. Like most cinder cones, Parícutin is believed to be a mono genetic volcano, which means that once it has finished erupting, it will never erupt again.

VICTORIA FALLS:
The Victoria Falls or Mosi-o-Tunya (the Smoke that Thunders) is a waterfall located in southern Africa on the Zambezi River between the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe. The falls are some of the largest in the world. It is 108 metres (360 ft).

MOUNT EVEREST:
29,002Ft Tall, Mount Everest or Mount Chomolungma, is the world's highest mountain and located in the Himalayas on the Nepal (Sagarmatha Zone)-China (Tibet) border.
The highest mountain in the world attracts many well-experienced mountaineers as well as novice climbers who are willing to pay substantial sums to professional mountain guides to complete a successful climb.
By the end of the 2008 climbing season, there had been 4,102 ascents to the summit by about 2,700 individuals. Climbers are a significant source of tourist revenue for Nepal, whose government also requires all prospective climbers to obtain an expensive permit, costing up to US $ 25,000 per person. By the end of 2009 Everest had claimed 216 lives, including eight who perished during a 1996 storm high on the mountain. Conditions are so difficult in the death zone (altitudes higher than 8,000 m/26,246 ft) that most corpses have been left where they fell. Some of them are visible from standard climbing routes.

HARBOR OF RIO DE JANIERO:
Rio De Janeiro ("River of January"), commonly referred to simply as Rio, is the capital city of the State of Rio De Janeiro, the second largest city of Brazil. It is called also as Marvelous City.
Rio the headquarters of two major Brazilian companies – Petrobras and Vale, and major oil companies and telephone. The home of many universities and institutes, it is the second largest center of research and development in Brazil.
Rio De Janeiro is the most visited city in the southern hemisphere and is known for its natural settings, carnival celebrations, samba, Bossa Nova, Balneario beaches such as Barra da Tijuca, Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon.
Some of the most famous landmarks in addition to the beaches include the giant statue of Christ the Redeemer ('Cristo Redentor') atop Corcovado mountain, named one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Sugar-loaf mountain with its cable car; the Sambodromo, a permanent grandstand-lined parade avenue which is used during Carnival; and Maracana Stadium, one of the world's largest football stadium.

The Grandma The Boy And The Bees

A Funny story about a grandma the boy and the bees!

The boy used to live with her grandma during his childhood about six year old he was that time.. His grandma was widow and alone in the house.. so he used to live there for a short period of time.. to help and accompanied his grandma on her housekeeping and other grandma's worked sometimes.

Her grandma's livelihood was getting rattan in the mountains and sometimes making nipa (used for nipa hut and some crafts like basket) to sell.

One day.. her grandma took with him in the mountain to get rattan.. now they were starting to look with rattan.. they have their own bolos together.. to use for removing the thorny rattan..

In there searching.. the boy saw a plenty of rattan in the trunks of bamboos and trees.. now since he was small he was thinking he was not able to remove those huge rattan and he didn't touch even anyone of those rattan.. he then called his grandma to see those rattan.. and the boy went through to look some more.

Now, when his grandma started to cut and clear the trunks.. his grandma started to shout.. the boy heared his grandma saying OUCH!! OUCH!! OUCH!!OUCH!! and calling his name many times and very mad voice... the boy then shouted his grandma saying.. "why grandma why!!!" while laughing also to the voice reaction and expression of his grandma.. then his grandma replied him.. "why you didn't tell me that there is bee house here!!!" "you want me to be bitten!!!" while running toward her grandchild trying to hit the boy..

But then the boy run away also while laughing loudly like annoying his grandma.. since he was small and fast her grandma didn't catched him..

Now later when the aching was gone.. they were closed again.. talking to each other but the boy still laughing to his grandmas swollen face.. until his grandma laugh with him too.. He now then confessed to his grandma.. "honestly, I really don't know that there was a bee house there grandma.." "Why should I let the bees to bit you? ha!ha!ha!ha!" the boy said and laugh..

Then later they both laughing together while on their way home while reminiscing their experienced..

Haaayyyy!! reminiscing also my childhood.. its nice to be a kid...and be naughty sometimes..

Does Spirit Can Hold And Move Objects?

Does spirit can hold objects? Nor can touch and move object from one place to another? well let me tell you something about this. My personal experienced will tell you if it really does or not?

Way back on 1998 when I was on vacation in our province, I really experienced something uncommon there. One day afternoon, about 2'oclock, my mother and my eldest brother and me were in our boat approaching in our port, when we saw my two younger sisters, my young brother and my niece were running away from our house.. We noticed that there is something happening in the house and they were shouting, running and scared.

We speed up the boat and my mother told me to check it out immediately. I ran quickly and I asked them why everybody scared and running away? Then they told me "Kuya!" (old brother) "there is someone throwing stone inside the house! but nobody was around the house!! I said what?? maybe someone is there and just making a joke! They told me no kuya! no one is there!! check it inside the house!!

When I was approaching the house.. I whisper to myself.."Lord what does it mean?" Then when I was standing toward our stair on the door, because our old house before was elevated and the floor was made of wood and bamboo.. I was surprised that really I heared a sound of something dropped on the floor.. Then my brother and sister shouted all over again and ran.. and they said.. see!! you heared that kuya!! I simply said to myself "Lord please help me, I will checked it inside and find it out.." because our father was not around that time..

What most surprised me again.. is that while standing on the stair and trying to go inside the house.. Ooh my GOD!! I saw the stone as big as egg size in front of my very eyes.. flying from outside toward our balcony.. Then my skin and my hair all over my body were become thick and scared a little.. as what i felt that time..

Then my mother and eldest brother came after me and asked me.. Is it true.. what your sister told us? I said "yes Nay!(mother)." I really saw the stone flying toward the balcony.. Really!! my mother replied like she was surprised.. Then my mother told me.. please check it inside the rooms..

When I step inside the balcony and rooms.. Really I saw a few of stones lied on the floor and I picked it up and show them all and threw.. and we started talking to each other.. What does it mean? A sign for something? or maybe a relative passed away? A lot of questions and talked to each other..

Then after that it stopped.. until around 7'oclock in the evening..

Now, while the whole family were sitting for dinner.. suddenly everybody hanged on and paused.. while eating and looking to each other.. like everybody were thinking something.. and of course my young brothers and sisters were scared again.. I said 'tay' (father).. did you heared that..? Then everybody replied "Yes someone dropped stone in balcony"... hahaha!! again!!.. I replied to them.

As soon as my father finished his meal.. he checked the balcony and he found the stone.. while he was picking it up.. another stone dropped all over again, beside him.. and we heared he said.. What?? Who are you?? And he started talking.. it's like talking to someone else.. or spirit to stopped it.. and then it stopped.. maybe the spirit listen to him..?

Before we go on bed, my father and my mother and I, went out downstairs and we bring some firewood and we made big fire outside.. my father and my mother was saying something and like talking to someone else to please stop doing it to us.. were going to bed.. we need to rest.. and its about 9'oclock that time..

Then it stopped that night and not came back and disturbed us at the middle of our rest.. And the good thing.. no one hurts from the family.. But it's a puzzle to us and it was an experienced of our family that we will never forget..

Well.. I knew that God created also those invisible things.. and there is a lot of spirits around.. good and bad.. but one thing that remained unanswered in my mind..

How those spirits hold and move the objects? And does spirits making jokes sometimes..? That's something weird..
