Rihanna was spotted back in August at a party in NYC wearing a Katy Rodriguez Leather Ruffle Skirt ($670). She paired her skirt with a black bustier, studded belt and leopard print cuff.

Amber Rose arrived to the Gen Art LA Fashion Alumni Celebration in Hollywood a few days ago rocking the same skirt. The model opted for a sheer long sleeved top, Balenciaga shades ($299) and Givenchy Bondage Sandals ($1,150) to complete her look.

Erykah Badu premiered a new track via her website last night entitled “Strawberry Incense”. The song is featured on her upcoming album, New Amerykah Part Two [Return Of The Ankh]. The official album art has been released as well, and it was designed by artist Emek, who did most of the artwork for her last album.

“Get Like Me” is the newest single from Nick Cannon’s tween girl group, School Gyrls. They’re signed to Nick’s NCredible Entertainment label. The song was written by both Nick and Mariah && features background vocals from Mimi herself. I’m not sure which audience this song is geared towards. The song itself sounds juvenile, but the lyrics are a tad bit mature.

Kim Kardashian wore a one-sleeved black dress from the Kardashian sisters’ bebe collection to her perfume launch at Sephora in LA last month. She paired her dress with a statement necklace and black patent-leather pumps.

Kourtney Kardashian showed off her post-baby body in the same LBD two weeks later at an event in Las Vegas. She completed her look with a black clutch and pumps.

The 82nd Annual Academy Awards just wrapped up and I’ll say that the show was better this year than it has been the last few years. There were quite a few memorable moments and a few surprises. The super lovely Sandra Bullock made the evening when she accepted her award for Best Actress, beating out Gabby Sidibe, Helen Mirren, Meryl Streep, and Carey Mulligan. Monique won Best Supporting Actress for ‘Precious’. ‘The Hurt Locker’ beat out ‘Avatar’ and ‘Precious’ for Best Picture as well as Best Director, with Kathryn Bigelow being the first woman to win the award. ‘Up’ took home the award for Best Animated Film and Jeff Bridges walked away with Best Actor.

Mimi also was a presenter at the 25th Film Independent Spirit Awards held at L.A. Live in Downtown Los Angeles, California on Friday. Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire won all five awards it was nominated for, including the coveted Best Feature film honor.

Jennifer Lopez has had a rough week. First, she confirms her ‘amicable’ spilt from her record label, and last night she gave two less than stellar performances on Saturday Night Live. She traded in her sparkly jumpsuit and Louboutin heels for two never before heard, laid back numbers (“Pieces” & “Starting Over”) from her upcoming Love? album. She also did a semi-funny Rihanna impersonation during the “We Are The World” parody skit. VEVO hosted the premiere of Monica’s brand new video for “Everything To Me”, which makes it’s televsion debut on BET’s ‘106 and Park’ later today. The music video has a ‘Fatal Attraction’ theme and involves Monica getting physical with an obsessed woman trying to come for her man.
