Good day! Finally the video I've been talking about on Twitter throughout the week has been edited and uploaded. Well in fact, I posted a snippet on my Instagram which you can find here. Follow me if you want, and if you don't want to, the choice is there.. it's either you take it or leave it.

When I got to the hotel, it took minutes of me to contemplate whether to record my stay in or not. But still, I did. Because I thought that this only happens once in a while and it would be better if I cherish the moment and keep it by vlogging my experience. Hearing the word "vlog" coming out of my mouth as a true and literal statement makes me wince, but what should I call it?

I actually took fifty seven videos but managed to edit few of them because some of the videos I took were private, like I wasn't wearing hijab and my face was fully exposed. That's something that I've been trying to avoid since I published my first ever Love, Fads blog post because I don't want to be totally exposed and it's quite better to stay on my shell for a long run. But what do we know? Maybe someday I could have the guts to do it. The possibilities are still there.

One thing I will not do is posting a current photo without wearing a hijab. True, I posted a photo without a hijab on Instagram but that photo was long time ago. I hope you understand the privacy I need especially when it connects to my religion. And by the way, the video is unlisted. You can't find it on YouTube without its link. Quick Getaway By The Sea

Good day! For the last two months I've been stuck at home to avoid the viruses roaming around the city. So an outing wasn't in my schedule and never thought will be. Recently, my mom surprised us and told us that my dad was coming home and we're going to have a quick check in in a hotel, Lantaka By The Sea.

Papa has arrived last Saturday and we were straight to our quick family outing at Lantaka By The Sea. My dad booked a connecting room which have both beautiful view from the terrace. We spent two days and one night in the hotel. On the first day, we just relaxed and eat yummy food in our room. At night, my sisters and I went for a night swimming which was so much FUN. But I can say that swimming is not for me, and it's not really my thing.

On the next and last day, my sisters went for swimming again and I decided not to so I could roam the place and take photos of the beautiful views. And again, swimming is not my thing. I also loved having conversation with my parents in a cottage while my sisters were in the swimming pool. My mom was very demanding during that time but I think in a good way because I actually had patience to do the things she wants me to do. She wants me to take photos of her probably everywhere in the place. Haha, it was really funny but fun to do it.

Before leaving the place, we take photos as a family and enjoyed every corner of the place because everywhere has a breathtaking views. I actually love all the candid photos my dad took of us. But I don't think it would be appropriate to upload them all here because this isn't a facebook photo album.

Looking back, I know I enjoyed every second we spent there. But what I love the most is, my dad is home. I couldn't be more happy seeing my two parent together in the same roof. If only we could stay like this, that would be perfect. Apparently we can't, my dad's work is in Davao. I'm just going to pray and hope that we could all be together and spent few months of vacation all together.

I took some bits of video during my time in the hotel. I'm going to edit them out and share it with all of you. Watch out for that.

Assalamu Alaykum, brothers and sister, today I'm going to list some little bits of preparation for you to do now, InshaAllah. And I hope you'll find them helpful.

Fiqh of Fasting in Ramadan:
There are rules and virtues when it comes to fasting. Alhamdulillah, there are lots of amazing scholars in the internet that helps you attain knowledge about fasting in Ramadan. There are also things that you can do in Ramadan which includes in Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAW. There are lots of videos of lectures in YouTube that are very helpful and informative. Some are three hours duration but there are short ones like 30 minutes to 1 hour. I know lots of people doesn't have the patience to watch long lecture videos unless you're really willing to watch it. But this two videos I watched was very helpful and informative and I thought I should share it because I know lots of Muslims out there need to watch these. InshaAllah.

Basic dua's for Ramadan:
Recently my mom asked me "Do you know how to recite the dua before breaking your fast in Ramadan?" and I answered her with "Uhm.. Bismillah.", then she laughed and taught me the basic dua's for Ramadan. She taught me and I wrote them down. But that didn't stop me from researching about the duas. Don't you worry, they are not long. Bu there are long duas that we can memorize during the month of Ramadan (if you haven't memorized them). IslamCan: Ramadan and Fasting Dua

PS: Don't memorize the dua of breaking the fast while you're on fast in Ramadan, because it'll break your fast literally.

Ramadan Planner
I've been wanting to do this Ramadan planner for a month now and I haven't done it since because I've been too busy with stuff and life. But I'm sure I'm going to work on this in Ramadan, InshaAllah. So, I came up with this idea of doing my own planner because I got inspired by this wonderful planner from Simply in Control.

I've been thinking of making a blog post for the update of my planner in upcoming days. Watch out for that.

YouTube Channels as Motivators
YouTube is one of the sites I visit the most because I love watching videos. I'm subscribed to some Islamic YouTube channels and I pretty love their videos because in some way, they boost my imaan and keep me motivated to do good deed and pray constantly. My favorite channels so far are The Daily Reminder and The Merciful Servant. I have this goal of watching all the videos of The Merciful Servant because their videos are amazing and informative.

I just want to add that my favorite nasheed at the moment is True Happiness by Wa'd Al Bashiri. I'm inlove with it. Please do listen to it, it doesn't matter if you're a muslim or non-muslim, the nasheed will keep you calm and relaxed.

BonChon Chicken, Zamboanga

BonChon has opened up last month here in Zamboanga City. And finally I was able to crammed myself in the restaurant because believe me, the place can never have enough customers. BonChon is best known through their unique and sweet (not as sweet as lollipop by the way) fried chicken which people always go-to. Besides from their yummy and mouth-watering food to serve, they also offer very affordable prices just to satisfy your tummy.

Amina, Fhar, and I tried their dishes out and omo~ I've never tried this kind of chicken. Other fast food chain or restaurants actually has the same kind of cooking when it comes to their fried chicken, don't tell me you don't agree with me. So, it's time to try something new. Amina went for Crispy Shrimp Rice Box, Fhar got the Drumstick and Thigh Rice Box, and I went for a Chicken Sandwich for lunch.

I only got chicken sandwich which is not a normal meal for an Asian girl who lives her life eating rice, but with all honesty, it made me so full and I was struggling eating my food. It was definitely huge for my small mouth but I'm proud to say that I actually ate the sandwich out (Well, Fhar took the last bite, but we can consider that, right?).

What I love about the branch of BonChon here in Zamboanga besides from their amazing interior, they don't serve pork. The menu was all chicken, beef, and sea food. So hello to all Muslims here in Zamboanga, why not try this lovely restaurant out without worrying about accidentally eating pork.

There is this spreading post in Facebook that BonChon serves pork and warns Muslims to not eat in BonChon. I would like to clear this out, that other BonChon branch in the Philippines serves Ko-Dogs which is mixed with pork and chicken. But BonChon Zamboanga doesn't serve Ko-Dogs. In all, BonChon Zamboanga doesn't serve pork, and this information came up from the manager of the restaurant himself, Martin Joss Salvador.

I'm definitely going back, maybe after Ramadhan, because I need to try the Calamari! And I hope you enjoyed this another food blog post. Happy eating!

I found this tag for a long time now in the blogger and YouTube world. So I thought maybe it's time for you to know me a little better by answering the questions provided in TMI (Too Much Information) tag. There are 50 questions and today I will just answer 25 questions and next time I'll be publishing the other half. I hope you enjoy knowing something about Love, Fads.

1: What are you wearing?

On the photo: I was wearing my maxi cardigan from Pink Berry and my hijab is my mom's which she bought back when we were still in Saudi Arabia. Beneath, I was wearing my NSTP shirt and just my pajama.

Now: I'm wearing my college P.E t-shirt and just a normal pajama.

2: Ever been in love?
I actually have, once. But that was a long time ago. For now, I'm just enjoying my single and happy life.

3: Ever had a terrible breakup?
Yeah, that once. I'm not liking these questions. Haha!

4: How tall are you?
5 feet. I know, I'm not tall.

5: How much do you weigh?
At the moment, 47 kg. I was 51 kg last month and lost weight because I got sick. Poor Fads.

6: Any tattoos?
None. And will never have any, because it's forbidden and I honestly don't want to have one. Based on my honest opinion, I think it's messy and unhealthy looking.

7: Any piercings?
Ear piercings. I don't wear earrings any more, so I think I'm going to have zero piercing in coming years. I'd love that! Is that weird?

8: OTP?
I've got lots but I'm just going to list my top OTP. My mom and dad, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, James Reid and Nadine Lustre, Bailey May and Ylona Garcia, Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano, Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes, Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid.

9: Favorite show?
I've got lots, actually I wrote a blog about it, Fifteen Favorite TV Shows. But my most favorite show at the moment is Game of Thrones.

10: Favorite bands?
I actually don't listen to music often but the last band I fancy was Chainsmokers.

11: Something you miss?
I miss eating and bonding with my whole family. We're all apart and sometimes it's impossible to be able to bond together as a whole family. One day.

12: Favorite song?
A Thousand Years by Christina Perri. "I have died everyday waiting for you. Darling don't be afraid, I have loved you for a thousand years, I'll love you for a thousand more."

13: How old are you?
I'm turning 18 on July 14.

14: Zodiac sign?
I used to be a huge fan of zodiac myths back when I was younger, and used to search the zodiac signs of my friends. But now, I don't completely believe any more. So, let's go back to the question. My zodiac sign is Cancer.

15: Quality you look for in a partner?
That's a hard question, because if I list the qualities that I look for in a partner, it will probably come out that I'm looking for a perfect guy. I'm just leaving it to fate. Because honestly I don't know how to answer this question but if I like you, I like you.

16: Favorite Quote?
Everything happens for a reason.

17: Favorite actor?
Johnny Depp, definitely.

18: Favorite color?
Silver, gold, and copper. White and black too, and nude. I can't just answer one color, oops.

19: Loud music or soft?
Soft music. But I like electro musics as well, so maybe both.

20: Where do you go when you’re sad?
Uhmm.. Anywhere, as long as I can stare at the sky. Sky calms me down and let me think more deeply. Especially at night, because I'm an astrophile.

21: How long does it take you to shower?
It depends, 15-20 minutes.

22: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Probably 15-30 minutes. I'm slow like hell because I'm lazy.

23: Ever been in a physical fight?
I have never been in a physical fight ever. But I've already slap someone in public and he didn't fought back, oh my gosh.

24: Turn on?
A guy that smells good and you can see a good hygiene coming out on his physical appearance.

25: Turn off?
A big turn off for me would be someone who's always late. I hate waiting. Well, it depends on the person I'm waiting but most of the time, waiting for late people pissed me off.

Wanderlist: Unpopular Places To Wander

Have you always wanted to travel? We all do. We all want to be lost in wanderlust. So here, I have several unpopular places on the list that I want to wander in the future, and I thought you'll find them interesting.

Rosa Khutor, Krasnador Krai, Russia

The place is best known for it's skiing activities that some travelers love to experience. I found out this place through an Instagram famous blogger from Russia and she went to Rosa Khutor Alpine Resort which made me fell in love with the place. I love winter so much back when I was still in Saudi Arabia. And I mean, if you live in the Philippines for years, you would want to live in the winter side instead of sweating in this tropical country. I love scrolling through wintery places and hope that I can go there sooner.

There are lots of amazing resort in the city. Since it's summer, they offer lots of fun and leisure activities for you to enjoy your vacation. Just go to, RosaSki.

Lake Tahoe, Sierra Nevada, California

If you're a Filipino and you watched On The Wings of Love, then maybe you'll be familiar with the place. Speaking of winter, this place is so beautiful when it's winter, you can go skating in different private and isolated skating area. Plus, it's not only beautiful in winter but in summer as well, as you can see from the photo above. I would love to book a cabin and just unwind for few weeks there. But I would love some company, game?

Tallins, Estonia

Estonia isn't so popular as it should be. The town of Estonia is so much like the Iceland's, pastel-ish buildings, if you know what I mean, and it looks so royal. When I found out the place from a hijabi on Instagram, I was totally shock and ashamed that I had no idea that this place exist. And I came to realize that the world is so big that there are so many beautiful places that we're not aware of, we only know Europe and America, that's it. But since we're born to travel and wander, we will always have this journey of discovering new places. And I would love to discover things in Estonia.

El Nido, Palawan, Philippines

I'm sure lots of the Filipinos know this beach side in Palawan. But you guys who aren't from the Philippines, I know you're not familiar with this. Philippines has 7,107 islands and there's no way we could memorize and acknowledge every island. El Nido is obviously part of it. I found this place from a local celebrity, Bianca Gonzales, which took her honeymoon with his husband in El Nido. Bianca posted lots of videos and photos that made me fall in love with the island, because it's so quiet and peaceful. Plus, there are caves that you can explore at.

Big Sky, Montana

Credits to Ingrid Nilsen who explored Big Sky, Montana with Shay Mitchell recently. I enjoyed the video so much and I told myself "Fads, you need to go there in the future". Big Sky is best known as the biggest skiing area. There are so many activities for you to enjoy there, cabins to relax and feel warm, and lovely dinings.

How To Organize Your Laptop Files

Happy Sunday!

I want to start with honestly admitting that I'm not super organized, often times my files are scattered on my desktop then I organize them whenever I feel the need to, like after 3 months. Since I'm an achiever (in some things), recently this week I made a to-do-list (shocking) and it finally worked for me which means I achieved them all. Of course, organizing my files is on the list. I've already done it and I'm pretty satisfied with the result.

Since I'm pretty satisfied of the outcome, I decided to share the tips and things I did to organize my files to you guys because I know there are lots of people out there who are too lazy to organize their files (like me). But before that, I want to clarify that I'm no expert, I'm just going to generously share what I did and hope someone finds it helpful.

No. 1 : CLEAR OUT YOUR DESKTOP

Having too much apps/software on your desktop screen is pretty stressful and looks messy. We don't want that right? On my desktop screen, I only have my Recycle Bin folder as it can't be removed from the desktop. Maximum of 5 files on your desktop screen is acceptable. Clean desktop is also pleasant to the eyes, I promise it will improve your mood during your work time. Plus, neat desktop will give justice to your fancy wallpaper. I also add sticky notes on my desktop for little reminders. But don't go overboard by the sticky notes. As for me, I only have 1-3 sticky notes on my desktop.

No. 2 : PIN COMMONLY USED/IMPORTANT SOFTWARE ON TASK BAR

As for me, I commonly use more than 5 software everyday, of course, it's going to hustle you if you have to search for the software before you're able to use it. Since I don't want to stress myself that much, I pin my commonly used software on the task bar. It's easier to find and it looks neat because it doesn't scatter all over the desktop screen.

No. 3 : FANCY FOLDER ICONS

I actually found this out from one of my follower on twitter. Thanks Seeta Jain! I got really excited and spent two days learning how to do it (I was shy to ask her). Don't worry, it's really easy and fun. But if you got lots of files like I do, then you have to free your schedule for the next 6 hours. You can search "folder icons" on Google. There are so many artists in Deviantart that share their crafts. IconArchive.com and MegaIcons.com have lots of icons that you can browse on as well.

For example, I organized my Videos this way. If you want the full package of movie categories I got, just click here. There are also other packs available on Deviantart for free.

Videos > Movies > Categories > Movie files

No. 4 : RELEVANT/PRECISE FOLDER NAME

I name my files based on the event or date. As for the event, for example; Istanbul Fashion Week 2016, not Fashion Week, but if you are attending the event every year, might as well consider; Istanbul Fashion Week > 2016.

Example of Folder Name by date:
Pictures > High School > 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Year > August 29, 2013

No. 5 : SUBFOLDERS

Doing subfolders is very helpful and organized. I'm a huge fan of this, I pretty sort all my files like these because I find it neat and pleasant to look at, because before there are way too much files on my Documents like PDF, lecture photos, lecture documents, homeworks, research papers, thesis and it stressed my nerves out so I decided to set mostly all of my files by subfolders. And please move the files on the right category, I know you already know that, but I'm just reminding you.

Example for Blogging files:
Documents > Love, Fads > Blog posts - Photos
Blog posts > Article - Topics
Article > Beauty - Fashion - Lifestyle - Food - Personal
Photos > Template Accessories - Random Blog Photos - Flatlays

Article, of course this folder is composed of documents of my blog posts drafts, while on Topics, ideas and random blog post topics that came up from different bloggers and myself. Template accessories consists of header designs, free graphics, and others. Random Blog Photos is a folder for all the photos I took that I thought is worth blogging. Flatlays, this is pretty self explanatory. To sum it up, just name your folder relevantly based on the file.

No. 6 : DELETE UNNECESSARY FILES

Girl, if you feel like you don't need that picture of apple on your documents then you can freely delete it. Please delete unnecessary files because they're useless and a waste of space. Well if you think that you don't need it for now, save it on another folder called Random. As much as possible keep your files tidy.

I just want to add that after I fix and organized my files. I clean up the remaining junks by 360 Total Security. It's my sister who downloaded this software and my laptop speed improved and pop-ups doesn't bug me anymore. So I highly recommend this because it scans and repairs virus, speed up your laptop's system, and clean up junks.

So these are the things I did to organize my files. I hope these tips can help some of you.

KJM Cosmetics: Cheek and Lip Tint - Review

Happy Thursday!
Last week of April, I was rushed into the hospital due to the virus roaming around the city but I'm good now. I just got home from the hospital because my sister was rushed there due to abdominal pain. So this time, I'm not the patient but a watcher along with my mom. I'm telling all this to justify the fact of being missing-in-action on my blog and other social medias. Since I'm home, it means I'm giving a little time for me to catch up on my blog. So, let's do this.

Being a watcher isn't that easy because you have to go to the pharmacy, nurse section, information center, and others. So having to walk and run from places to places makes us haggard and pale. But this time, I got a lip tint with me to keep me looking fresh and blossomed every now and then.

If you've been my reader since then. You know that I don't wear make-up, but soon I've been thinking of doing so, like a minimal make-up, just that. So if you want to recommend products for beginner, please leave it the comment section below because I need all the help I can get, because I really have no idea in this world of make-up.

I got the product's information from Sofia Andres who's been posting this cheek and lip tint on Instagram and she really liked the product. So I thought of trying it out, and when I got it I was really excited. I prefer wearing lip tints because basically lip tints give you a more natural look than lipsticks. I bought the colors in Pink Puff and Bittersweet Magenta. What I love about Pink Puff is you can wear it anywhere and it'll suit you. It also looks so naturally rosy which I believe can make you look blooming. I usually just use it at home or outside the house. I wear Bittersweet Magenta when I'm going out to the mall or somewhere just to keep you tidy and look fresher. The color isn't too dark on your skin so the tint still gives you a natural look.

Packaging:

I personally love the packaging because it has gold. And the bottle is adorable because it reminds me of the bottles in a medieval movie used to poison their enemies, I don't know why but that really reminds me of it.

Long Lasting:

It actually shocked me how long lasting it is because even I brush my teeth, it still hadn't come off. Sometimes I sleep with it and in the morning, it's still there. Good job, KJM!

Comfort:

Yay or Boo

Of all the lip tints I've tried, this KJM cheek and lip tints are the only ones so far that hasn't chapped my lips and hasn't left my lips dry. It's not that balmy and too dry, it's just normal and natural. That's the main reason my why love the product.

Taste:

Yay or Boo

Not as if I'm expecting the tints to be sweet or fruity. But in someway, the taste actually disappoints me because I personally don't like chemical-taste lip product. What's good is, the taste fade when your lips are already dry.

Life In Grid Vol. 1

Happy Tuesday! Who's back on Instragram? This girl right here. I've tried Instagram several times but I always end up not liking it. But now, I feel more motivated to use and improve my Instagram account and I decided to share some little bits of behind the scene of every photos I share whenever I want. And I'm going to call it: Life in Grid. So let's get to it!

1ST: Hello again, Instagram. 📷

So yes, pretty self-explanatory. I'm back on instagram, and I feel like it's my fourth time comeback, haha. This photo was candid during the celebration of my sister's graduation. I was probably looking at those kids playing, hoping no one gets hurt. Because kids can be too excited sometimes.

2ND: Oops, I ate too much today 🙊

Literally ate way too much that day. I ate an enormous turkish shawarma which was very delicious and now I'm starting to crave. And my sister and I also ordered Halo-Halo from Mang Inasal. It was an amazing lunch with my sister, as always.

3RD: Ultimate yum 😋

Pizza, Fries, and Lasagna? What is life?! Those are pretty much unhealthy foods but it's not that bad to treat yourself sometimes. Am I right? Yes. My sister Fhar and I's foodtrippin' is endless. Oh, we were at Greenwich.

4TH: Senti with my sister. Oh how I miss Corniche. 🌅🌊

Since I blogged my life back in Saudi Arabia. I decided to share it on Instagram as well. This photo was taken in Al-Khobar Corniche which is an amazing spot for you to relax and unwind. That's what I did while looking at the other end of the sea.

My first every advertisement on my blog was the brand called Coco Melody which you might be familiar with on my previous post.

I've been craving for chocolate cake for days after I got out of the hospital. Then finally, my forever beloved sister bought me a whole chocolate cake from Red Ribbon and it made feel so good after I struggled from migraine.

8TH: We show off our different scarlet letters. Trust me, mine is better. 💌

My sister and I decided to take photos of our outfits and I said that it was for my Instagram and she said her photos would be for her profile picture on Twitter. We are always in the same vibes which creeps me out sometimes because we aren't twins, although lots of people thought we were. But no, we're sisters, and we're best friends. I don't wanna get too cheesy so let's move on.

Oh of course, a Mother's Day post for the appreciation for the sacrifices of our beloved mother. A little post for them will surely show how much we love them. But as I said, only Allah knows my love and appreciation for her so I decided not to rumble much instead express out my good intentions and love for her. Everyday is Mother's Day. Show them love before it's too late.

I was in Davao last year and I tried the Durian ice cream. It was delish! Speaking of Davao, it's a really nice city here in the Philippines. People are disciplined, places I went were clean, and people doesn't bother you. I mean, in a way to compare here in Zamboanga, narcisissitic men roam around and try to get every woman's attention which is really creepy. And when I went to Davao, no one actually does that. They just don't care. Thanks to the city's mayor, Rodrigo Duterte, for disciplining his people and maintain it. Now, Davao City is known as the 4th safest city in the world.

Speaking of Mr. Rodrigo Duterte. Let's talk a bit of the Philippines election. I'm not a voter, but I've been rooting for him from the beginning. Even though before he doesn't want to run for presidency, I was still rooting for him, and thank goodness, he did. Now, he's in the 1st rank of partial and unofficial counts of votes with 15.5 million votes. I'm just waiting for the final announcement before congratulating the Philippine's upcoming president.

Life in Saudi Arabia

Happy Saturday! Today I will share my entire positive lifestyle I had when I was in Saudi Arabia for eight years and about the reason why I love the place. I've been here in the Philippines for two years now and I haven't visited my beloved hometown in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Since my father is already working here, there is no chance for me to go back any sooner. But with all hope, after college, I'll go back because I miss the country so much.

ABAYA & TARHA
Abaya is a lose black cloak that cover up the whole body of a woman. All women must wear abaya and tarha because of course the place is an Islamic country and it's a rule that all women must cover up. Mutawwa (Islamic police) always warn women to cover up their hair with tarha because not all actually wear it properly but I can't blame them because not all women in Saudi are Muslims. I remember when I was still using the abaya before, I feel like I was a witch in Hogwarts, lol. Example of abaya is shown in the photo above.

UNLIMITED AIRCON
Middle East is known as a desert place that exceed 40 degrees celsius of weather in summer. But no, as experienced by truly yours, it doesn't bother me, because aircon is everywhere. Plus, the electricity bill in Saudi is very cheap compare to the Philippines. So unlimited aircon 24/7 isn't a big deal as it is here in the Philippines. And brown out doesn't exist in Saudi unlike here in Zamboanga City, we deal with brown out like 2-3 times a day and I'm sure other cities are also struggling with this.

FAST INTERNET SPEED
I'm sure a lot of people who were from Saudi would definitely agree with me. The internet speed here in the Philippines is poor. But either way, as long as I have internet and it doesn't bother my patience, it's alright.

LIMITED JUNKS IN GROCERY LIST
When we go for a grocery in the mall, we only pick our most necessity and pick just a little bit of junk food. We only buy like 1-2 chips for the whole week. And my father loves fruits, so he often insist to buy loads of those and I'm going to pick my yogurt and milk, that's all. I have this favorite yogurt drink that was strawberry flavored, and I unbelievably forgot what it was called. My love for milk is everlasting, however, I don't fancy much the milk here in the Philippines. I'll forever love the Saudia brand. And Almarai too. My weight increased when I went here in the Philippines because I can just go wherever I want and eat. If I'm hungry, I eat. I don't know why but back in Saudi, I don't eat too much as I do here in the Philippines.

GORGEOUS PEOPLE
Before Kylie Jenner, there's Modern Arabian Women that grows all over the crowd everywhere in Saudi. Yes, I'm talking about the lips, hips, bum, and boobies. I actually have this Arabic teacher back in highschool which wear this brown lipstick everyday at school and she intentionally overflow the lipstick on her lips to make it look like a chubby and bigger lips. And her body figure is Kim K. Sometimes there are people who are gifted to have larger lips like Kylie that you can just normally see in Saudi. There are also loads of Zayn Malik look alike that walks around like a boss, well sometimes, Arabs are really humble, or aggressive (like narcissistic guys), or they just don't care about me because I'm Asian. Oh there's this funny story about the guy I met in Jarir Bookstore, damn he's cute. I will just talk about it more in different post.

HALAL FOOD EVERYWHERE
Arab food, I miss you.
Oh how I miss choosing restaurants and food stalls freely and don't have to think if they put pork or pork ingredients on their food. Because Philippines is a Christian country, most of the restaurants and food stalls here sell pork. I'm a Muslim and we're not allowed to eat pork, so if you have Muslim friends, please treat them well, and serve them halal (non-pork) food. It's a major deal to us. So, looking for a pure halal restaurant is hard for me so sometimes I just choose eating sweets over a proper meal in a restaurant, fast food chain, and others. And since halal food doesn't compose of any sort of pork, then it doesn't make you fat. Well, lots of Arabs are big, maybe because they eat way too much or their metabolism are slow.

COMFORTABLE TRANSPORTATION
We had a Fortuner back then and the transportation is luxurious and very comfortable. I sleep way too much in the car, like most of the time I sleep in the car on our way to school or home or anywhere else. I even change clothes there, lol. And I don't have to commute cough college students cough. And the traffic is bearable but most of the time there's no traffic. Here in Zamboanga City, we don't struggle much about the traffic because the city has fewer vehicles than in Manila. I've read so many tweets of my friends in Manila complaining about the traffic in EDSA and in some places, they actually take hours to get to their destination. It's horrifying.

ROADTRIPS
I haven't been into a roadtrip here in the Philippines because first, the driver isn't my father, and second, my mom thinks I'm gonna get raped and die if I'll ever go to a roadtrip without my father, which I think is very sweet but after all, I'm not really into doing that. But I enjoyed every single roadtrip we had back in Saudi, to Jeddah, Dammam, Al-Khobar, Jubail, and Madinah & Makkah. Happy memories.

WINTER SEASON
I don't like summer, I've been very vocal about that for a long time now. And a lot of people in America and other countries love summer so much. Why?! But wait, what if you guys try to live here in the Philippines and those Filipino folks that doesn't like summer will live in the winter side of the world. Sounds great. I love the winter in Saudi, the coziness, laziness, negative degrees, and when we speak there's this visible cold breeze that comes out of our mouth. And we always blow and show each other's breeze. I mean, come on, I miss and love that so much because all we blow here is sweat, amazing right, yucks.

PARKS

I remember that we go to Salam Park all the time because my mom loves parks. Where it came to the point where in I get upset and annoyed when we go there. But honestly now, I want to go back and enjoy every second of my time in that park. I'll eat lots of ice cream and corn and batatas (potatoes). There is this dried potato swirled in a barbecue stick and they put sauces in it which I really really love, I already forgot what it's called though, damn it. But I think, it was dried batatas(?). When I get back to Riyadh, I'll definitely visit Salam Park often.

ESTERAHA
or Villa
We rent Villas for parties and most of the villas have swimming pool which I really enjoyed back when I was younger. I remember, on my Grade 6th graduation, we rented Esteraha and I invited all my friends and it was the best party ever because basically we spend the day in the swimming pool which was funny but really memorable. I will never forget that. Renting for Esteraha isn't that expensive that's why lots of Filipino folks love renting Esterahas.

CORNICHE
I have to admit that when I was still in Saudi, I don't like Corniche. But now I miss it. The photo above is me and my sister, Fhar, in Al-Khobar Corniche.

WOMEN SECTION IN THE MALL
Yes, you read that right. Some malls in Saudi actually have their own private women section, because you know it's an Islamic country and they separate guys from girls. But it doesn't mean that guys and girls are actually separated in the mall, it's just, there's a women section which obviously only women are allowed to enter and the sellers are women as well. Basically mostly like 90%, the sellers and cashiers are men. I love to go to the women section because it makes me feel more safe and comfortable because what could go wrong when you're with your fellow sisters.

CHEAPER PRICE
I miss this so much because back when I was still in Saudi, I don't convert the Saudi riyals to Philippine pesos at all. Chocolates are 1-5+ riyals, Clothes are 30-90+ riyals (there are still 100-500 riyals but I don't buy things like that because I don't like wasting my parents' hard earned money), and chocolates here are 50-100+ pesos and clothes are 100-600+ pesos. It blows my mind.

That's it for now! I would like to proclaim first and foremost that these are all based on my experience and I'm sure lots of my friends could relate. I just miss Saudi Arabia so I wrote this Saudi Arabia appreciation post because the country deserves it and for you to be able to see the positive side of the Middle East. And I feel so grateful that I experience the luxurious lifestyle in Saudi, it's something I will never forget and will forever be grateful for.

Happy Friday! Last February, I've published a blog series called Fifteen Favorite and my first post was about my fifteen favorite feelings which a lot of you can relate. Watching Hollywood TV Shows is one of my interests, I love watching TV shows. So today, I'm going to share my top fifteen TV shows that I most like to watch. Let's get to it!

1. G A M E O F T H R O N E S

I know what you're thinking, "OMG, you're watching porn". Okay I just want to clear that the nudes and the unpredictable dash unexpected dash unusual bed (anywhere) scene are not my interests, and I don't intend to watch it because I personally and honestly don't like it. It's disgusting. Well, what I love about this TV show is the plot itself. They are competing with the thrones, lots of killing, betrayals, woman giving awesome birth into three freaking dragons, and a lot more. At first, I really don't want to watch it but my friend Kriezel forced me because she really loved it and she said that the plot of the series from time to time are unique and well written. So I tried it, and the show flipping blew my mind. It's amazing. I highly recommend it. And it's the Top 1 most watched and most popular show. Again, Top 1. Enough reason to watch it.

Btw, Season 6 is coming on April 27. Let's watch out.

2. H O W I M E T Y O U R M O T H E R

Who loves this show so much? Me! I keep on re-watching some episodes because I haven't and will not delete the 9 seasons episodes in my laptop. I mean, these episodes cheer me up when I'm feeling a little bit upset. For those who haven't watch this, please do. It's amazing. Don't think that you won't be able to watch the freaking 9 seasons because it's long because each episode only consist of 20 minutes. I finished the whole seasons for one week. Once you get attached, you will not want to stop watching it. You'll love each character of the show. I promise.

The ending was kinda predictable. I know it'll happen, so it didn't shock me at all. Because she's the first. So she'll be the last. I'm not trying to put out a spoiling statement because I know not all have already watched it. For those who did, did the ending disappointed you? Well me, it didn't because I was already predicting it. But I would love R and B together forever. The thing is, life is full of surprises like what happened to B being a daddy, literally.

3. T E E N W O L F

I already wrote and shared how much I love this show over on my February Faves 2016.

4. A R R O W

This show made me love DC over Marvels. Sorry, Marvels. Well, I love them both but not in the same rate. What I love about this show is Oliver Queen itself. I mean, he's amazing right? His moves, bravery and love for his family is beyond my expectation towards a chick boy billionaire. He's beyond that, he's something else. I will not stop watching this show until the end of it. I just love it so much!

5. T H E F L A S H

Ooh yes, Barry Allen is one of a kind. He's a superhero, scientist, and has great sense of humor. I mean, what else do you need. I love this show because it opens up a lot of science fictional theories and legit research and information about science. Sometimes, when they speak science language, I just don't completely understand until they act them out. Haha! Science is not my thing but they're interesting and mind blowing. The continuing mind blowing plot of the show is just amazing and very unique.

PS: I love Cisco too.

6. S H A N N A R A C H R O N I C L E S

MTV produce shows that are composed of fine looking characters. This show is definitely one of them. I mean, it's shocking how good looking each one of the characters are. From Teen Wolf to Shanna Chronicles. How are you doing this MTV? Great job though because personally, I think this is one of the reason why I love the show. Shannara Chronicles which according to some, is a game, which I believe is true because there are Elves, Trolls, Gnomes, and other creatures which I think are some characters in games. So, the genre and plot of the show are new to me, so it excites me so much when a new episode come out and just can't wait for the next episode next week. Season 1 finale was a cliff hanger, it makes me so excited for the next season.

7. S U P E R G I R L

Girl power! Yes! A woman who's as strong as Superman, that's Kara Danvers, ladies and gentlemen. I love Kara because I wish I have her super long patience, even though her boss mouths at her all the time. She just can't get mad that easy and her patience is beyond any thing else. I love the show because it promotes girl power itself. And even though her boss Cat Grant is probably the meanest boss, she still has a heart and her professionalism is goal.

Anyway, I love Melissa Benoist since Glee. And if you used to watch Smallville, Lois Lane's sister Lucy is in the show and they look similarly the same. I mean, they really look like sisters.

8. T H E 1 0 0

Wow wow for this show. The evolution and revolutionary acts of this show is beyond our imagination. The sky people and grounders continuing war is unstoppable, clans are unstoppable. This show is unstoppably amazing. I don't know how to reason out why I love it without spoiling. So just go watch it yourself. And beware of its amazingness.

9. S C R E A M Q U E E N S

What a popular show! Because of the way Chanel Oberlin talks, I mean:
Chanel Oberlin: I'll have a Trenta, no foam, five-shot half-caf, no foam pumpkin spice latte with no foam at 210 degrees.
Pete Diller: First of all, that's really hot. That's two degrees below boiling.
Chanel Oberlin: I'm sorry, did I enter a wormhole to a universe where this coffeehouse does not possess the technology to heat my favorite autumnal tradition to 210 degrees? I like my pumpkin spice lattes extra hot, so please comply with my request.
Pete Diller: But extra hot is 170 degrees.
Chanel Oberlin: I'm sorry, does your job description entail arguing with your customers, thereby delaying the moment at which they receive the irresistible nutmeggy sweetness of the extra hot, no foam, pumpkin spice latte they've been thinking about all day? I mean, God!

Look, you'll love her. Plus, Ariana Grande was a guest at the first few episodes.

10. P R E T T Y L I T T L E L I A R S

People go crazy with this show, like I used to. This is actually the first Hollywood show I've ever watched. This show is the reason why I indulge myself in the world of TV shows. Haha. I love how thrilling the plot is. I mean, when -A is all over the place and I keep on guessing who was the -A and none of them are actually the true -A, I'm like okay, that's two thumbs up for the writers. But the second part of the season pretty disappoints me, I've already missed lots of episodes though. Because I can't digest the fact that Spencer and Caleb is together, not a big fan of them. I'm Haleb, Spoby, and Ezria fan you know. So if ever those three got back together without me knowing, please do tell me in the comment bar below, so I can catch up as soon as possible. Thanks!

11. M A R V E L ' S A G E N T S O F S H I E L D

Top 3 most popular show. Yes! Y'know why? Because it's awesome and thrilling. Do you remember Hydra? Yes, it's a corporation in this show and they're just unstoppable and nowhere to find. But I hope soon in the upcoming seasons, they'll catch the son of a beach. Please do watch this if Marvel is your thing. I love Marvel (not as much as DC).

12. S C R E A M

Hashtag Who Is The Killer throughout the season. And ends up with an unexpected cast. But I think there's another one, of course, they're still releasing the next season which I'm excited about. Scream is thrilling and horrifically brutal. If that's your thing, watch this. I watch this because that's my thing.

13. i Z O M B I E

A Doctor Zombie who doesn't go around eating brains and murdering people, that's Liv Moore. She's totally normal, just undead. And I love her whole experience of being a zombie. Adapting the personality and talents of a person by eating his brain. Don't worry, she eats brain legally. She works in the Seattle Police Department in the autopsy area. You know what that means, free brain without killing the person because someone already killed him. That's the catch, so Liv won't feel any guilt, she'll find the killer for justice. Don't worry, I didn't spoil you that much because there are way more about the zombie Liv. Watching her journey is highly recommended.

14. L U C I F E R

This show was recently recommended by my friend Beatle. He forced me to watch it and he even gave me the first few episodes right away after he told me about the show. Thanks Beat! I really love the show. I love Lucifer's charm. He's amazing, I mean, not because he's entirely rude and a complete insensitive devil but because he has great sense of humor. And he's becoming a human, well kinda. It's a new show, so we have to watch out whatever will happen to the devil. Let's see.

15. D C ' S L E G E N D S O F T O M O R R O W

DC FOR THE WIN. Most of the characters are from Arrow and Flash. CW channel is being uncontrollably out of the circle. They always cross over their DC shows. There is no other channel better than this. Arrow, Flash, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Did you know that Flash also went to Supergirl? It was an exciting episode. I love the show because it's so techie and I feel like every episode is like a Sci-Fi movie. Highly recommended.

My favorite subject of all time would be English. I wanted to have a new display photo on twitter so I asked my sister to do it for me. Plus, I'm wearing a non-black hijab which is an uncomfortably new moment for me because I don't use non-black hijabs. I decided to go out of my comfort zone for a while and grab change. Im hoping I'll have the guts to wear non-black hijab outside the house soon. I don't know, it just feels so uncomfortable. But with all hope, this summer, I'll wear non-black hijabs often.

Four Sister's and a Wedding Taping

This was a very busy day! Because there were a lot of pa-VIP members in my group which was so frustrating. One of the thing I hate, are late people, I hate waiting. But I'm not the kind of person that shows her emotion too quickly, so when everyone was already in the location. I told them that I was disappointed and really angry at them because they didn't followed my instruction. Thank God, I did it because they we finished our taping after three hours because they were serious and willing to do everything.

I was so happy because they were willing to do everything that I say and they didn't complain even though I told them not to eat anything if we haven't finish the taping because they thought I was mad. But I'm not, I was never mad. Haha. And later that night, I finished editing the movie. I think, it came out well because my prof and members really liked it.

All I can say is, without their sacrifices, determinations, and obedience, the movie won't turn our great. Thanks for their positive characteristics and determination. Without them, there won't be this treasurable memory of the day and the movie itself.

PACUCOA's Accreditation

What a stressful day. I run the building's stairs from 6th floor to ground floor more than ten times. Probably lost lots of fats, lol. My prof who is one of the handler of the PACUCOA's Accreditation had given me lots of works and I stay in 6th floor because my classes are there and she was in the ground floor, and she calls me on the phone all the time for works and other details. I'm also one of the "elite force", who'll be interviewed by the PACUCOA's Accreditators. PS, they weren't that scary as we thought they would be.

Culminating Activity

Last P.E class! Good bye, IHK. So my last culminating happened this month, it was beyond my expectation, I thought it would be boring and normal but no, it was really exciting, the games are on climax every time. I really enjoyed the day especially my friends and I went to KCC to grab food and have some fun.

I'm a huge fan of Ariana Grande since her "Rolling in the Deep" cover which is already deleted from her YouTube channel and her "Victorious" days as Cat. Late at midnight, around 2AM, I was doing some research and paper works and decided to listen to Ari's new songs and tweeted it. Surprisingly, she liked me tweet. Believe me, I couldn't find my chill during that moment, the world froze. Love you always, Ari!

Khayra's Graduation

First of all, congratulations to my sister's college graduation! You're done, sissy. I'm so jelly, I want to graduate soon as well. But time flies. So we're so proud of you, as always. This day was stressful but it was all worth it because again, it's my sister's graduation, and we ate lunch with the whole family (except my two brothers who happens to be on Davao and Manila).

Here's my nephew, Abdurahman, who was my play mate while waiting for my sister in the van. And I taught him how to use the DSLR camera and the two photos above was captured by him. I decided to share these because it's the first photos ever that was captured by him using the DSLR and considering that these aren't bad shots for a first timer. Good job, Man!

I promised myself to have a happy month this March. Alhamdulillah, it happened. Hoping for another happy month this April. And hoping for a better month for you as well.

Just for addition, I won't be posting a faves blog post for this month as I was really busy doing my uni works and have no time to love something for this month. Next month, I shall have. Hope you enjoyed this blog post.

Hell Term x Final Term

Happy Friday!

For you who doesn't know that I'm a college student then here I am telling you that I'm a business college student. So in college, we've got terms. And I'm on the stage of the final term so the professors are giving requirements or exit assessments for us to be able to pass our subjects and prove to them that we deserve to get into the next level.

I'm writing this on Tuesday night at 11:28 PM (March 8) because I think this is the only time I'll be able to write my Friday post while my other tabs consists of sources of different case studies.

F I N A L T E R M E X P E R I E N C E S O F A R :

No Sleep

I'm staying up all night to finish the draft of my paper works and reading and writing. I've got three case studies with defense, a term paper with defense, an article, and directing and editing an almost 30 minutes film. But let me just point out that not all of my subjects has already given us the requirements.

Anxiety Attacks

Struggling with the pressure is the main event of being a college student. Because sometimes we get too stressed out about one requirement and worry about the others at the same time. I also have this habit of wanting to finish the work real soon as much as possible as I can. So I put so much pressure on myself and I instantly become workaholic which is an advantage because I'll be able to finish the work quickly but the process of doing it is h e l l .

Exerting Effort

I'm the person that wants her work to look good, presentable, and satisfying. I always want my work to be clean and perfect. So I always draft and edit over and over again until I'm satisfied with my work. Sometimes, I do my work all over again even though I've already polished it several times which gives me a lot of anxiety and pressure because I also want it to be done quickly. I think I have a problem.

Finding Companion

My friends in college is my companion because they are going through this hell term as well so we can complain all we want but we can also help each other which is something that I'm thankful for because everyone just want to do the right thing and we share opinions and constructive criticisms from our works. What I love about our batch is we are united. They calm me down and remind me that it's not the end of the world for me to panic. Thanks guys.

Complain and Cry

If you haven't cried in college, I salute you. I always complain especially on my pa-major subjects (minor subjects that requires a lot of effort as if it's a really really important subject). My NatSci 2 is unbelievably frustrating because of my prof. Let me remind you that I'm a business college student, not a medicine student. I can't judge him as a person though because I believe he has two sides of himself, as a prof and as a real person. So I always try to turn my complains into productive questions on why the hell he's torturing us. He just want us to develop our skills. But I still cry when the pressure is uncontrollable.

Appreciating Time

I only got three weeks of this hell term. And I think I need three months to finish my requirements. So I try my best to balance my working schedule and my break time. Let's be honest, I use so much time on my break time and other stuff, haha. But I still try my best! Ok!

Quick blog post because I'm focusing on my uni works for now.

Pepper Lunch

Happy Friday! Another food journey with my sister, Fhar, after my classes.
We went to Pepper Lunch. Excuse my eye bags, I was in school before I went there so.

Pepper Lunch is a "fast-steak" restaurant all the way from Tokyo, Japan and it is also franchised all over the Philippines and other countries. The restaurant is popular for using special electromagnetic cooker, the iron plate. Basically it's a DIY thing, they'll put the ingredients together, and all you have to do is shake, stir, and mix to ready your dine.

I personally love the restaurant from the service, the food, and the interior itself. The service was good because the workers were friendly and always smiling. Although the food took quite a long time to wait, it was worth it because it was delicious and very satisfying. I love their Chili Sauce though. I also learnt how to use chopsticks. No one noted me that it's a big plate, so I never had the chance to finish the meal. My tummy was going to explode. The interior design is classic and brownish, which I love because I'm trying to shade my blog photos into brownish filter. And there's this big empty wall cover with brown bricks which I thought was a perfect background for an OOTD post. But I was wearing my college uniform, it isn't a pretty outfit you know.

I would recommend this restaurant for a hang out with your best friend or favorite sibling, or an eat out with the whole family. For me, the food was expensive but it was worth the price. And if you're going out with the family, don't worry because your dad is going to pay for you guys.

It was a nice experience, I'm totally going back because I haven't tried their chocolate cake. I saw a customer eating it and I was like; Oh no, should've tried that, but maybe next time.

February Faves 2016

Happy Friday! Good bye February, hello March!

It's the end of the month again which means another monthly faves blogpost. February was not my month though, I don't know why but most of the days, I was feeling a little bit upset. But thankfully, the last week were great because I'm forcing myself to feel good and think positive. I can't stay curled up my whole life, right. So I'm hoping for a better and positive month this March.

♦ T V S E R I E S ♦

→ Teen Wolf (Season 5)
Teen Wolf's impact this season is like a bomb - loud and intense. The creators go beyond the viewer's imagination. I believe the most appealing plot from this season is the evolution of McCall's pack; True Alpha, Kitsune/Fox, Beta, Koyote, Banshee, and Human. They're all different hybrids which makes the pack stronger and blended well together.

I personally love Kira's character, the way she deals with her inner evil kitsune soul with innocence and bravery. Spectacular. But let's not forget the outstanding Lydia, the Banshee, I mean all I can say is hands down. Her scenes are perfect and well written. I don't know what to say any more.

I actually missed like five episodes. But when I watched them continously, I just don't want it to end. I'm all like, "What?! That's it?! Next episode please!", but unfortuanately I have to wait for another week for the next episode.

→ On The Wings of Love (in the Philippines)
This TV show has recently ended this February. Before it ended, the two leading cast, James Reid and Nadine Lustre finally admitted that they're officially a couple. Throughout those 6 months of taping together, the emotions of one another has eventually bloom. And with the couple's impressive bravery, they announced to everyone that they're dating each other which made the fans go crazy happy and crazy kilig.

I've been watching this show since the very beginning, but on the middle, I just lose interest because I wasn't able to see the spark from the tandem. Until the last three weeks, I've noticed the way they look at each other and their body language, by that time I knew there's something special going on between the both of them and there is finally a spark which made me want to watch the show again even more.

Why OTWOL was loved by everybody? Because it's not a typical Filipino TV show. Most of the telenovela here in the Philippines are predictable and heavy. But OTWOL gave us a simple and light show with heartwarming appeal. What I love the most was they bring out the best of everything from the show - the characters, locations, and scenes. Everything was directed with perfection.

Let's talk about the Finale. It was legendary, indeed. They aired the last episode all over the world via TFC, so everyone could watch the same time as it was aired here in the Philippines. They produce a viewing party for the fans with the whole cast and it came out as a big surprise because they aired it live as well. I mean, this is something that hasn't been done in national television. So, hands down to the OTWOL team - from producers to the whole cast. Congratulations for the successful end!

→ Good Dinasour
A friend of mine, Dido, recommended this movie because according to him, the movie gives every watcher a great lesson. Since I haven't had anything in mind of a movie to watch, I considered his recommendation. And for that, I agree that I can get great lesson from this movie.

What I love about this movie is they teaches everyone that our own fear can help us grow and be stronger. "Sometimes you have to face your fear to see the beauty of the other side.

Good Dinasour is produced by Disney and Pixar, and I believe these both producers never go wrong with their movies and if they do, I don't care. I highly recommend this movie because I loved it, and my mom loved it. My mom usually doesn't watch movies, but she loved this. Take the advice from my mom, she knows best.

→ Indie Current
Late of February, I found out this wonderful channel in YouTube. Basically they share different indie songs which is amazing because I'm being nosy and trying to discover different indie songs. So, this channel has helped me a lot in finding out new indie songs.

The reason why I wanted to enter the indie world beside from being nosy is because one time I played the whole album of Bastille during my "work" and it made me feel nostalgic and gave me so much feels. So far, indie songs are marvelous.

→ Zayn Malik
I'm sure it's Zayn Malik's year this year. He recently released Pillowtalk (Jan 31) and It's you this February and he nailed his songs. His voice is outstandingly angelic. He actually is my favorite from One Direction because I can see his powerful potential in the band. It honestly made me sad that he quit One Direction but I personally believe it was the right choice not because he doesn't deserve to be in that band but because every member of One Direction has their own potential and so is Zayn Malik.

After all, One Direction proved that they can still be on top without Zayn which is magnificent. And Zayn Malik can and will put himself on top without One Direction. It's a tie. I'm still a big fan of these artists. But this year is Zayn's moment. I'm so proud of him. I'm a solid fan through thick and thin.

Since I don't wear make up like anybody else, I'm still a girl that wash her face with a facial cleanser. So this February, I changed Cetaphil cleanser to this product again because Cetaphil isn't giving me the best solution any more, which made me sad because I never had the chance to empty the bottle. But anyway, I'm happy and satisfied with my facial wash now. Actually I already used this before and I'm using it again because I'm hiyang with this product.

Happy Friday! My sister Fhar and I love to go out together and try new things. We've decided to eat outside and Adobo Connection has recently open here in Zamboanga City, so we tried it out. We went there just to try a menu and eat in another restaurant for lunch. We ordered the Pansit Guisado, this is not just a normal Pansit Guisado we eat everywhere. They've kinda twisted it which is amazing because it tastes heavenly and I actually ate the veggies on it, you know I don't eat veggies that much.

I also loved how they decorated the place. They represented the vibrant and lively lifestyle here in the Philippines and the people who made great impact in the country like Jose Rizal, FPJ, Ninoy Aquino and others. Proud Pinoy. 1. P E E K O F D A W N

I'm a morning person but I usually just stay inside the house until the sun come up because I do lots of things in the morning so I don't have much time to go out, believe me. But when I get the chance to peek the dawn for a little while, it feels amazing inside. It's like a chance to begin again, and do better today. And since I thought of this, I will try my best to peek the dawn everyday. Plus, I love how purplish it is, it reminds me of Ariana Grande.

2. F I R S T S I P O F G R E E N T E A

If you've already read my previous blog about my January Faves, you know that I mentioned about being inlove with green tea. I don't drink coffee for months, and now I can finally say that I don't crave coffee anymore. Yes!

3. E A R L Y M O R N I N G C O M M U T E

Most of my days are school days and I know some of you are as well. I go to school earlier than my class starts because I wanted to be ready for school everyday, you know sometimes it takes time. And on my way there, it's an early and peaceful morning. I love staring at the sea side while I'm in the jeepney. It's helping me to think positive and appreciate my commute everyday to school.

4. L A U G H I N G

Of course, laughing will always be one of my favorite feelings because who doesn't like laughing, none. The happiness you feel while laughing will always be the reason to make you feel grateful for that moment.

6. H U G S

If you are one of my closest friends, you know that I'm clingy. I love hugging people because I want to let them know that they're important to me and I appreciate them. Or maybe, I'm just really clingy.

She basically mean the world to me. We're like twins, when she laugh, I laugh and when she cry, I cry. She's a part of me, forever. I find comfort and love when I'm with her and I couldn't ask for a better mom, because she's already the best.

If you're a bookworm like I am. You already know what I mean, the feeling of not wanting to put down the book and you just want to finish that chapter and another chapter and another chapter because you're already reading the climax and you just want everyone to shut up. I know how it feels and I love it.

I just love the feeling when I'm with them especially when we're having a great time chitchatting and laughing. These are the people I'm never gonna stop appreciating and people that I'll never left behind.

I'm an astrophile, I have great love for stars. They're just wonderfully beautiful and it makes me love the night. I also want to learn about them, their pattern and all sort of stuff. But I'm going to need a telescope, or maybe I just need determination to do it. Soon.

I'm sure most of the people today love sunset and yes, I'm included. It just look so beautiful and we appreciate it so much. "Sunsets are proof that endings can often be beautiful too".

Because we all love food. Who doesn't? That feeling of the first spoon of that yummy meal, yeah I know right.

I hate working out. I just push myself and ending up loving the feeling after the workout. I'm so lazy in the beginning and most of the time, I don't workout at all even though I've already plan on working out. I think, for those who are working out, you know what I mean. But I love the feeling after my workout because "Yes! I'm done!" and I know it's all worth it because beauty is pain.

14. C O N V O W I T H C H U M M Y

Yasmin a.k.a Chummy is my best friend from another country called Saudi Arabia. We were friends since I was in highschool back when I was still in Saudi Arabia and I moved here in the Philippines for college. But we still talk through facebook and record voices as well. We both are very busy and our time zone never match. So we just leave messages and stories about our life. We only talk properly when one of us is staying up all night. Our friendship and the way we treat each other remained the same which is really impressive. I love her because she's the truest person I've ever met, truest friend.

15. B E I N G G R A T E F U L & P O S I T I V E

These two feelings make me love to live my life and appreciate every thing that's happening to me. Being grateful is something that I love to feel because no matter how much trash life throw in my face, I know there's something better God gave me, and for that I'm forever grateful for everything and for my life. Thinking positively is such an amazing feeling because let's be honest we just fully feel this in rare moments. It's hard to think positive sometimes when life throws shit numerously into our faces. But after all, let's be grateful and believe that everything happens for a reason, and it's always our choice to choose happiness over negative stuff.

Extra Love in CBM

The college of business and management celebrated the Valentines yesterday (Friday) since it's the last day of the school week. The Supreme Student Council decided to build up some booths to serve as their fund raising, like Wedding Booth, Movie Booth, and Posas de Amor.

In the morning, Movie Booth was available for free, because we had our TV in our floor. My friends and I watched Love, Rosie and The Notebook. But I definitely enjoyed the Wedding Booth because some of my friends got married invalidly which is really exciting and funny at the same time. I didn't get the chance to witness the Posas de Amor though because I went home early due to my routine of going home right after all my classes, it's a law in my case. But it's fine because after all, I really enjoyed the day.

A piece of advice from my professor in Economics, "Everyday is Valentines Day and God loved us first.". How deep was that? But I still loved what she said because it's right, we must give love everyday because everyday is a chance to show it to people that deserves it. And God above all, of course, loves us first. Let's put Him in our top list of loved ones.

So since we can celebrate Valentines everyday. I've decided that I'll call the day as Extra Love Day. Do I have to explain that? Nah, I think it's self explanatory.

I hope you enjoy your day in Feb 14 whether you're single or not. We all have our loved ones, the day isn't necessarily made for couples only. Go eat and enjoy the day with your friends and family.

The Shannara Chronicles

I've got lots of reasons why I'm currently loving this TV show, basically the main reason is it's a new theme of series that I watch. I usually watch actions like Arrow, The Flash, and so. This is fantasy! I'm having a massive love for fantasy films and tv shows at the moment.
I highly recommend this show. And if you're still isn't convinced, fortunately Buzzfeed wrote an article why you should enter the world of Shannara Chronicles. (Link) Go ahead and check it out after you read this whole blog post, and be convinced.

M O V I E S

Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Believe it or not, I grow up watching Star Wars because my father is a huge fan and he always watch the series when I was younger, so I know the story and I love it. So knowing that they were going to release a new episode, I was so happy and felt nostalgic. The first premiere weeks, I wasn't able to watch it in cinema. But thanks to KCC de Zamboanga, they decided to replay it last January 8. So I didn't let go the opportunity of watching it in cinema. My sister and I watched it together on 3D, and I never got bored even just a minute. And the ending! I cant even.

Pan

I don't think I'm too late for this, but yes I had the chance to watch this film last month. Then I thought why I didn't watch it any sooner because I end up loving it so much. I got to know Peter Pan's childhood, how he learned how to fly, the piracy, the reason why he doesn't want to grow up, and his friendship with Captain James Hook. I mean, they were friends?! What happened next? Now I want a Part 2.

Skinny Bitch by Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin
Okay, here's a non-novel book for you. But let me assure you that it's really helpful and straight to the point book. I promise. For those of you who haven't heard of this book, well basically, it's a book full of knowledge about how crappy the food you're eating, from coffee to donuts.

I haven't finish this book, I'm like in the third chapter. Because I literally have no spare time to read the whole book aside from reading just two sentence them boom, I've got other things to do. But I'm hoping I'll finish reading the book as soon as possible, so I can convince myself to swap my lifestyle into a Vegan or Vegetarian lifestyle (we'll never know).

I've been loving electro musics since October 2015. So Chainsmokers is definitely on the list of best electro musics producer. I didn't regret that the first song that I actually heard from them was Roses. It's a bliss. I love it so much, I had to play all their musics. I also love New York City, Kanye, and Waterbed. Plus, they release a new song yesterday, Don't Let Me Down. I freaking love it!

If you're from the Philippines, you definitely need to watch this YouTuber. He's a Fil-Am vlogger in Manila, who enjoys the city so much (more than Filipinos do). He's very friendly and committed to his channel but the best thing about him is he literally speaks Tagalog, he speak those deeps words that we Filipinos doesn't use anymore. And, he speaks beki very well, better reason to check him out.

What's new about me since I become a college student is I'm inlove with tea now. Green tea has lots of good benefits. I'm drinking green tea over a year now. Green tea helps me when I need to stay awake at night and morning. It's just basically helpful for everybody.

I don't actually fancy a specific food this month as I don't buy food from town because they're unhealthy and just completely junks. But crinkles, is the pastry that I can't resist. When I see one, it's so hard to resist, so I had to buy even just two piece. Haha, that's why I'm kind of trying to avoid bakeries this month. Because crinkles gives you wrinkles. See what I did there? But seriously, it's unhealthy, and I'm trying to avoid unhealthy food this year.

What does World Hijab Day means to me?

Basically, when I read World Hijab Day, I was like "wow this is something". For me, World Hijab Day is a day where all female in the world wear hijab even those non-muslims. And also, World Hijab Day is not just about wearing the hijab, it's about awareness of how beautiful and meaningful a piece of cloth can be when being wore in the head as a hijab.

I got inspired of this awareness. Because imagine, if even just for one day, every woman in this world wear hijab, that'd be awesome. MashaAllah. Okay, that excites me. So I've decided to make my non-muslim college friends wear hijab, just to try it and ask them what they think about it. PS, I'm the only muslim that wears hijab in my whole batch. And you know what, it's not a big deal to me as it isn't a big deal to them as well. So it's cool.

It was really fun to make them wear the hijab. I love that they're cooperative and very willing because they wanted to experience wearing it. And despite the fact that we are all so busy all day because it is our exam week, they were still cooperating. Since I'm the only one from my batch that wears hijab, it was really nice to see them wearing the hijab because finally there's someone wearing hijab from the class aside from me. She encourages her followers to keep their faith and always do good deeds everyday. She also travels recently for modelling and other stuff. I admire her for balancing her social media famous appearance, career, and faith. Those are major stuff.

She also owns an online shop which is the Golovkova Shop which includes long skirts and hijabs that express her style. I love her modest style and even though she's in Russia, she's brave enough to pull her modest style and religion.

Why I'm Wearing The Hijab

B E C A U S E I ' M A M U S L I M

A straightforward and simple answer but there is a deeper meaning about it, and a long story as well, which I'm going to summarize. So I started wearing hijab seriously last May 2014. It has been almost 2 years, Alhamdulillah I did it. Technically the years before 2014, I don't wear hijab at all. I never take it seriously, because I wasn't able to guide myself because I know nothing about Islam. My parents never failed to guide me but unfortunately I wasn't listening before because I myself doesn't want to wear hijab. It was my fault, just have to point that out.

In 2014, I had to move here in the Philippines for college and most of my relatives are wearing hijab here, so I was force to wear hijab even more. Because not only me they'll judge, but also my parents, and I don't want that to happen to them because they were the best parents to me. And they don't deserve being randomly judged because of me.

2014 was probably my adjustment year, it was hard. It was a hard year for me. All of the adjustments I haven't imagined I'd encounter was thrown into my face like a tornado. From family, college, new place, new city, new people, new neighbors, then to my religion, Islam. In summer, my sisters and I were attending Islam class at home. The lecturer was specifically payed by our parents. And Alhamdulillah, my parents did it, because I've learned a lot of things from the lecturer. She was a great ustadza (female Islamic teacher).

Honestly, wearing hijab helps me believe that I'm a true Muslim, that I must continue working on my spiritual belief or faith, and made me realize that this new me is actually MORE WAY better than I was before. I build up my inner confidence, I worked with my insecurities, I accept who I am, and I truly believe in Allah now and forever. There are lots of lessons in Islam and when I learned and believed some of it (I'm sure I'm not an expert and I still have lots that I need to know about Islam) because I'm not really religious at all but somehow I feel satisfied for who I am, who I'm with, and where I am right now by wearing hijab. Because everything happens for a reason, this was destined, this was His plan. All I have to do is accept it with sincere gratitude.

Now, I don't just wear hijab just because I don't want people to judge me. Because let's face it, no matter what you do, someone will always judge you. Wearing hijab is my choice. I'm forever grateful that I did it, because there are still Muslims out there who aren't wearing hijab and doesn't know the importance of it (which I'm sure they will know and realize as I was also like them before), and I'm grateful that I'm not one of them anymore. I still believe that if I can, they can too.

Saving Money Tips

Desperate to save some money? But don't know how to? I prepared list of tips based on my experience as I proclaim that I'm the "Tipid Queen" (Tipid in English is Thrifty). I'm passionate at saving money. I don't have a specific goal, so I'll just call it "For the future". In that future, I can afford whatever I want to buy. I'm still a student so I depend on my parents and chose to save money so when I'll have my own salary in the future, it'll just add on my savings.

Deposit all of your money.
Bank account has given me a big help. Thanks Mom for helping me opening my bank account. You need to open an account if you want to save a big amount of money because it'll keep your money safe. It wouldn't tempt you to buy things you want even it is in your wallet because you'll have to make an extra effort to go to the ATM and withdraw money.

"Money looks better in the bank than on your feet."

And if you don't have a bank account, or you still can't open one, or you just don't want to. You may consider savings jar like these.

Needs over Wants.
Always prioritize your needs. Once you've got all you need, set aside the remaining money and indulge to the things you want when you reach the exact amount of money you wanted to save.

Withdraw money only for your needs.
Having lesser money in your wallet will help you not to buy unnecessary things. And let you focus on your savings more.

Limit your expensive expenses.
If you want coffee. Go with sachets! It won't kill you. They're still coffee and sometimes is more tasty than those expensive drinks you buy in Starbucks. P6 versus P150 (according to Philippine peso). See the difference? Or better yet, avoid coffee because there whole lots of reasons to avoid it, go search it. Do not buy that "new arrival" clothes as well. Don't be a social climber, besides I bet you've got whole bunch of clothes already. Save money. You'll thank me for this.

"Don't go broke trying to look rich."

Choose cheaper alternatives.
Referring to the previous tips. There's always alternative and even better. You don't have to spend way too much money just for a single thing. Think thrifty.

Lessen fast food and junk food.
Believe me, I know how much we love these crappy food. But let's use our head and think, that these can make us fat like pigs because it's addictive and we always want more. So we tend to spend way too much money for these craps and forget our savings goal. Am I right?

When you see donut or the world's best fries, think of what it can do to your body. Plus, when you feel hungry after you just ate few minutes ago.. You're not hungry, you're thirsty and dehydrated. And no, don't drink juice or sodas, choose water. Water is cheap and healthy, drink lots of them. Fruits and veggies are cheaper as well.

Reward yourself at the end of the month.
This is really important. Rewarding yourself is the sense of appreciating yourself after the hard work of saving money. Just make sure that that reward won't empty your bank, or else every hard work you put on to will just go to waste.
