Just discovered Emily's blog recently as she mentioned LHC on her fabulous fashion blog Wardrobe Block and it came up in my google alerts. If you haven't used google alerts before do try it as it's a great way to find out who's been talking about your blog or brand (though be warned sometimes it does come up with irrelevant stuff so make sure you use those commas!) How to fix a compass necklace!

Has your compass necklace stopped working? Is the needle 'pointing the wrong way'? Do not fear this can be easily fixed with the use of a strong magnet and 3 super easy steps! Here's how:

Step 1: Place your pretty necklace on a flat surface and place a magnet close to its proximity.

Step 2: The compass should now swing so that the needle is pointing at the compass.

Step 3: Place the magnet over the body of the compass and stroke the magnet from the bottom of the needle to the top several times.

Voila! Your compass should now be re-alligned so you are ready to start using your compass again.

We can't wait for the new season of Gossip Girl! Looks like the first episode of season 4 will be set in Paris and Chuck appears to have recovered from being shot - hooray! Will Blair and Chuck get back together? Is Dan really the father of Georgina's child? Will Serena be wearing more clothes this season and how many guys will she cop off with this season? We predict the next victim will be Rufus... an obvious choice oh yes!

The season premiers in the US on September 7th, this trailer won't answer any of those questions but golly gosh are we glad that the new series of Gossip Girl looks just as good as the last!

Festival Must-haves!

Over the past couple of months festival fashion has been dominating the pages of all the fashion magazines. If I had my way I would be doing the full UK festival circuit but sadly my bank account won't let me. Here are a few of my festival must-have items that will help you on your way to festival chic as well as some general must-haves for this summers music festivals.

Gold Eyeshadow

Ever since I saw this on the Topshop website I've decided that I'll definitely be reaching for my trusty gold eyeshadow pencil when I go to Reading next month. Yes this look may make you look a bit like Ke$ha (especially after a whole weekend of not washing your hair) but it looks cool and at least the pretty eye makeup will distract other festival go-ers from you dirtiness.

Festival Jewellery

This year I'll be wearing some of our Oh Daisy range including our gorgeous daisy chain bracelet, and our oh daisy ring.

Dry Shampoo

A must-have for obvious reasons! I personally recommend Batiste because they do a cheap range of dry shampoo for different hair colours. They even do a range for black hair! No more dusty looking grey roots for me. Hooray!

Wellies!

Great for muddy fields, I've picked these super cute ribboned wellies. Cheaper than the Hunter ones owned by all the celebs, and so much prettier!

Sunglasses

Protect your eyes from the sun and they help you get that festival chic look when you are hungover! Pick yourself up a pair of heart shaped sunglasses from our website for only £8!

Alcoholic hand gel

No running water by the portaloos is mank! Alcoholic gel will destroy all those nasty germs you've accumulated by using a portaloo. Use it on your hands, use it all over your body instead of showering... the possibilities are endless! (I like the Andrex spray because it smells nice and because I like puppy dogs) Oh! and don't forget to bring tissue paper!

Phone Charger

You might think that a phone charger isn't really essential for the festival chic look... but really who looks good when you've lost all your mates and your phone is dead! The wonders of technology now means you can charge your phone in the middle of a field without a source of electricity... amazing! Now just remember to try and not lose your fully charged phone by dropping it in the portaloo toilet in a drunken haze!

Pocket Watch Necklace Instructions

Over the past couple of weeks we've received a few emails asking for instructions on how to use our pocket watch necklaces. I've looked all over the web with the help of my trusty friend Mr Google, and I couldn't actually find any instructions that included diagrams??! Instead of directing my customers to a random website with no pictures, I decided to make a little 'How to" blog post for all our lovely customers, and anyone else who is looking for pocket watch necklace instructions.

Q - How do I open my pocket watch necklace?

A - Follow the instructions as shown in our awesome diagram below!

Q) How do I change the time on my pocket watch necklace?

A) This one is easy peasy, but probably not so obvious if you have never had a pocket watch before. To change the time simply pull out the dial (as shown below) and twist the dial to whatever time you wish (just like you would with any boring old wrist strap watch).
