TWO ROADS DIVERGED IN YELLOW WOODS !!

What is Life ? And What we have to take from it ? Just A Friendship that comes on it's way and accept it to let live life happily.

Thousands years been passed ; and now we are in the culture of civilization . The ancient apes have gone and we have come out with new faces with these long years of gap. These faces themselves have created a long distance amidst the humanity; and it's so sad to see them fight together. The fight is of Land, Language, Religion. The fight that is of High and Lows . The Rich and The Poor.

Midst the journey of this existence where we are trying to search our own path of survival , and existence ; the bread and butter that count's the family to live together, it's sad to see many faces for a question' Why it's hard for a person to live his/her life happily.' ?

The system has been broke and is been broken by all of us. We all need to rectify this to come out at a conclusion that say we all are human; and we all are One .

There is nothing to hide between you and me . The soil has given a breath to us. The mother nature has brought us up. Among the relationships of all that we behold; we must think once that survival of the humanity is the top most.

I hope this post finds you well and hope we think of the things that matters to us. Taking off me from all of the above, we think of the big WE; The Earth, The People That Are Living Within It's Surface.

On a short note a long remembered poem that dictates the roads of life that makes all difference.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,

And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,

And having perhaps the better claim,

Brand - An Identity

I am on the edge of writing the last post for 2014; and It's all coming to an identity .

In marketing a company identity is it's brand. The brand which takes the company to it's height. Whether it's in maximizing revenues , staff welfares or it’s related to staff affection towards it's company they are all interlinked to brand. Even a person or a staff is recognised with the brand of the company.

A brand is an identity that promise. A promise of delivery of quality, satisfaction and it's name according to it's promises. A promise to stakeholders, it’s customers ; and it’s all well wishers.

Whether you are an employee , a CEO, a Chairman or any stakeholders directly or indirectly, everyone is concerned about brand. And, I believe they must ; and for some extent except the customers; else the brand will last no long. Client's in a sense, because the customers have choice to choose between the competitors .

That is what the globalization has brought us . A competition and the choice for the client amidst different brands.

When it comes to branding , For an owner , it’s like a child to the parents who cares for their kids. Anything wrong with their kids , the parents are hurt. And any thing that comes to the kid's well being ; it comes ultimately to the parents and the surrounding's responsibilities of those cutie pies. And in this context , the cutie pies are the stakeholders.

I hope in coming 2015, we all will be brand conscious; and take the identities of , wherever we are involved to heights; and create our own identity from our own brands.

I would like to highlight on the new years eve, do not be confused between the identity of own; and identity evolve from the thoughts of others. You need to taste the varieties of apples to know which one is best for health. Yet the universal phenomena remains' An apple a day keeps doctor's away'. But the secret is you need to choose between the varieties to stay fit, i'e your decision to stay with the brand and be loyal to it.

I wish you all a great year ahead and may it brings the lights to your life and an identity to a purpose.

The Three Most Valuable Lessons of Business World !!

It's almost the end of year 2014 now. Festive seasons are almost over for this year. Though I was not not that fortunate enough to celebrate many festive occassions this year due to work and personal life adjustments yet I am hopeful for the next year to celebrate with joy.

Things have changed a lot in these months and I have managed to put some more learnings into my business learning bucket list after my start of year post ; and still I am learning the codes of the business world.

My boss and me went through tough times and still the current climate of SME is competitive with strict regulations to adhere to guidelines; and yes of course to boost sales revenue is an ongoing matter. Every product has been taken almost in the market and to be innovative is a hard job too to beat competition.

Three important things that I learned during this crisis period that's are so much valuable to any business scenario and to any manager or boss; and I hope you will be able to find this post useful to you as well.

1) Being Calm.
2) Being Emotionally Intelligent.
3) The Phenomenal Give and Take Relationship.

During these period I have learnt a bit of Spiritual side as well. God, the almighty bestowed upon those who are givers , who are calm and who can manage emotions intelligently .

Watching my boss never ever showing his judgemental emotions in hard times, being calm on hard decisions and being kind to assist the needy and in return to take their valuahble skills for business is just something to see and learn. Learnings human behaviours and knowing and adjusting onself with the human force is a great skill. You have to use the conscience of right and the kind.

Thease have been a valubale learnings so far and still the journey is continuing.

Learning never ends.

Here is the New Year Again !!

So at last here comes the end to 2013. The last day of the those 365 days that we have spent doing something and in many instances nothing.

Gone are the days so let it be bygone and let us remember the treasures of it.

Lord Buddha said : 'Do not dwell in the past nor in the future concentrate on your present'. And it is true the better we concentrate on our present the better will be the future. So let us live fully to what we will be doing in this coming year.

Sometimes back in days I wrote a post 'Every thing happens for an action' and may be in many cases we took the right action and at the right time; and in many occasions we missed out the opportunities and faced with difficulties. But, that is the life and we learn from it and here we are again to celebrate the end of this year.

As the bell rings 12 today in the night the new year will be at our door steps and we may already have many plans that is full for the whole year.

So here are some that is worth to be thoughtful.

1) Concentrate on your business first ( Whether, its studies, job or business or family, priorities everything)
2) Do what makes you happy.
3) Focus on your goal
4) Contribute to the life's of others in any form that can bring happiness to their lives.
5) Surround yourself with the people that care about you.
6) Think of your saving and investment habits. In a way invest more then saving.
7) Concentrate on your studies and complete it . Education is the doorsteps to more happiness.
8) Never regret on your decision that you have chosen. Complete with full action.
9) Take time for your family and bring the compassion inside you.
10) Take control of your temper and anger. Be calm in any circumstances.
11) Look out for your health. Keep plans to exercise around to be fit and fine.
12) Network around and build new opportunities for your business and personal development.
13) Take time for yourself. Feel free and visit new places.
14) Make you family and married life more meaningful and happy. Stay together.
15) Do something that makes you productive and successful and keep yourself busy.
16) Be more professional - Professionally and Ethically.

Really speaking I didn't wanted to make a list but anyhow came again. May be old habit that reluctant to change, but not at all impossible to change. Above all I want this 2014 to be the year of oneself. Focus on yourself, for your own development. Be selfish this time and take time for your development this year. Let success comes your way; so that you can develop others and the community later.

Lets' talk of entrepreneurship. There are many to be entrepreneurs and many who are already entrepreneurs and many who were once, and they chose different career path due to their business failure.

Becoming an entrepreneur or a business owner is not that difficult. You just register a company and say you are an entrepreneur. But as times passes on the zeal of entrepreneurship ends to some and some still marched to achieve their dreams of becoming success in the business they have chosen. The real entrepreneurs are the one who succeed in their business and its management and enjoys their life through their hard work . They are the one who can foresee the future opportunities and grab the market early to reap all the profits.

So question arises how many business can you open or do to become successful in entrepreneurship journey. Well, it really depends on your idea of doing business and what sector you wish to enter and how you can take on the market.

Winners are Made Not Born

There will be the time in everybody's life when everything in front of you looks dark and you seem all alone. While walking on this big journey we encounter the dark shades which are really very powerful and it will kick your ass as much as they can. If you are the believer of your dreams then stand to your words that’s the only way you can beat and kill that python which is trying to swallow you. If you have come across the weird desert believe yourself to cross it. Once you cross that long desert you will see the home which belongs to you; and which has waited for you to shape it into a beautiful world. Your soul will die if you don't hope for the best to come. Living in isolation will not give you that magic moment that you have always wanted to see like your mates in crowd cheering up for you.

Winners are made through their hard hits of life and believing in their own core that you still can make to the other side of earth, which is still giving the daylight even in the times, when the world thinks it’s a nightmare to cross during the dark. The truth is that there is no such like night; only the time makes it to appear as nights in our eyes. As the earth rotates, it purifies itself from the rays of sunlight once again, that’s the perfect truth which is universal and which you have to believe on every time you take the risk. Every risk bears its outcome. Your strength and hard work can only make it to the positive side, nothing else. If you want to be happy you have to follow the guts to take the risk.

''Life is scary as well as beautiful'' as wise man said, so fear the crowd from your zeal, that you still can make it even there may be people around you who thinks negative of you or who don't want you to succeed, that's the human ego which the God has never offered to anyone, but they have created by their own. Prove your strength from taking their ego into your soul and destroy it. You are your own creator and you are your own destroyer. Make the fate fear from your zeal and transform the lines of your palm stronger and longer even it looks short to the outside world. Believe in hope and your passion and look everybody through the eyes of love. Believe in the life of Buddha who made it through defeating everything. There are only two ways to choose either 'Yes' or either 'No', and it’s your choice which one of them you want to pick through to move on and that’s the choice which makes the whole difference.

Listen To Understand

It's been a while I haven't had time to write something; so today here I am once again. Wandering around for a while and looking at the faces of businesses and people I realized there is much pain in this world.

Some businesses are growing and many are failing, life is bringing problems to some and some are fighting to survive somewhere in the poor world. Everyday's metro is full of lies and pain so suppose sometimes it's better not to read it. So the outcome is Happiness is less and Pains are more today.

So I thought what's the cure to know a world much better ? I have come up with a solution and that is to listen everybody.

Listening is a powerful tool and a meditation. Whether you are an entrepreneur, a CEO, A parent , A student, or a guy wishing to enter the world of growth opportunities, I think listening is a great source to know the situation much better. Watch the world and listen the waves what's going on and then act accordingly. Your act can go in the direction of love, that is what needed today I feel, Gen Y need to listen to elders and Elders need to listen to the Gen Y too.

We are here in the world of compromise. We must go in mutual understanding to go for a better winning situation.

Listen to your heart as said by someone is very true, this will let you know what's right and what is wrong. Your diversion of roads can differ just only by listening too. If we can listen someone who want's to say something for better, I think at least we need is to listen him until we have understood what he is saying. Is it right or wrong. Judgement comes after you have listen not before hearing.

Once the great poet Robert Frost wrote :

Some Resolutions Don't Have To Wait For New Year

Often we speak of something that we promise to our self, and say we will keep along the whole year. That's resolutions. Mostly we prepare our resolutions in new year and many of us sometimes wait for that moment to come to take the action.

Well, I would say you don't have to wait for any new year to make any resolutions. Every day is a learning day and we can make new resolutions as soon as we learn from our mistakes or even other's mistakes.

We all know time wait for none; and the more we wait for the new year to come many things can go against our personal, professional and business life.

Here are some resolutions you don' have to wait for a new year. I am sure you can work on them as soon as you discover them.

For Business :

1) Get rid of wanted cost.
2) Check out the new suppliers that can bring you more cash.
3) Analyse your situation in monthly meetings regularly.
4) Discover the new methods of product or company promotion.
5) Be a perfect Boss or perfect employee
6) Be more efficient and train your employees
7) Don't Blame others for your mistake or don't take by yourself full credit of team work.
8) Simplify the process and methods.
9) Do financial and business health check ups.
10) Phase out the strategies or any things that is unproductive.

For Personal :
1) Life doesn't stop from anyone or from one failure. Keep moving for what is best for you.
2) Build kindness in your dealings.
3) Prioritize your work which is important for you to get success
4) Give time to your family and kids no matter what happens. Heaven Is ,Where Home Is.
5) Don't forget to praise your partner for any efforts done.
6) Love yourself and trust your confidence.
7) Make new friends. Network around with successful people.
8) Engage yourself in new learning's.
9) Quit what is not important for your health or your life.
10) Rise above any little things that makes you down.

We are not perfect but we can say to ourselves we can be perfect. We have to learn to be on the way of perfection. The more we focus our self with dedication to something, the more better the life will be. Creating everyday or even monthly resolutions is a way forward to achieve them.

So let's make the first resolution from today onwards.

By The Blinds For The Blinds- No Way Out

Whenever it comes to the approach of leadership and any enthusiast to prefer in the route of leadership, I prefer to categorize the individual in terms of only two things ; Vision and Individual.

We have seen so many leaders sprouting like cauliflowers in the field of leadership but out of 1000's few makes in the role of true leaders.

Whenever it comes to a leadership I like to best compare the phenomena with ' The Father' in a family. The father knows the best for the family and its children and will always act to do the well being of family, no matters if he himself suffer the pain. That's a true leadership.

On the other side many we have seen want to be a leader or act like a leader, but they by themselves don't know where the path will lead or where his or her principles will lead in the future for him or to his/her followers.

Leadership by a blind person in terms of no vision for, about what he is pursuing for the team; or owners in a business towards their employees having no strategic direction to focus on ; an employee wanting to be in the corporate ladder to lead but don't want to focus on the target ; or a politician to lead the nation without any ethical principles is of no use. It's just a phenomena of fame interest only. They are not or cannot be a true leader.

Youth wanting to become a leader but blind in objectives to pursue and follow it, is same alike above. Leadership in terms of blind man to the blind one goes no where. In this case both the blind leader and blind followers are going with no direction at all.

In this instance I would like to quote some of the best practices to be an effective leader :
- Have a Shared Vision
-Empower and Inspire People To Act
- He Should Be A Great Relation Builder And Changer
-Give Clear Direction with No Bias.

So any youth or existing leaders if want to be true leader then lead with a vision and ethical principles towards their followers. If you don't do so, you will be cheating yourself as leader which you so called to get fame; and in that case I would love to call you as Cheater not the Leader.

Whatever Happens, Happens For Action !!

We have come across many people in our life saying '' Everything happens for a reason and whatever happens happens for good''. That's pretty true to believe, I guess. And many others too saying '' This is it and That's my life and fate and others are lucky enough''

I always say there are two choices either Yes or either No to any path. Both have consequences and the choice is ours only and it really depends which one we choose to be in.

Whether its business or personal life there are situations of adversities. These adversities are great gates to learn and walk down a new path or follow a new strategy. Our roads are like a path entering a cave midst a dark jungle; where there is no way out from the jungle. If you choose knowing there is no way to the other end and would like to stay in the jungle, the decision is yours only and if you choose to tackle the cave with hope you may see sunshine at the other end.

It may happen :

- Somebody may leave without notice from your company.
- Someone may betray you after you believe in them and it may happens with your suppliers too in business.
- Life may give you hard times and business may suffer operational losses.
- Friends may not be together for long or clients may not remain in the business too.

These few are just mere examples and these will teach us what we did wrong in past and give a chance to analyse our present. What made us to be here ?.

We can adopt new lifestyle or new way of choice. These adversities will make you strong to adopt new strategies to tackle the situation; so that next time you don't repeat the same process or mistakes again. But mistakes do happen and we adopt ourselves as time pass.

One thing is sure whatever happens, happens to take action. If you choose to be on the existing pattern of lifestyle or business process even the time had given you rough times and you don't take action; then its your choice of being in that situation only. in that case I believe you take consultant advice :)

Business goes in risk and same with life too.We must adopt to change our pattern of negative thinking or operational flaws and give some side to positive thoughts to flow in our process and minds. Once we believe ourselves to go in the right direction it may results in greater achievements along the journey. And, it's all learning we have to do.

So just be clam and focus and divert your process and thinking to a positive side of action and say
" Something good going to happen even though it happened" and Yes, you are ready to take the challenge.

Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover

Today I was just viewing some of the investment websites and my attention just got stuck into one website, and that was of the fourth world richest man company website Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Mr Warren Buffett whose estimated worth as per Forbes is $ 53.5 B, can't he afford a better website for his company ?

There is no fancy stuff no eye catching pictures. It just have its full company details , annual& interim reports, letters to shareholders from Mr Buffett which date backs to 1977. Basically it has all information related to its company, and is regularly updated.

So Can't BH Inc. afford a eye catching website ? You will say you must be joking now.

One thing I learned here is not to judge the book by its cover. The main thing lies in its content and how interestingly it catches readers interest to read more.

We may have seen so many companies having great websites but when we encounter them in our course of need the inside atmosphere , services , product is all opposite to what's written in their website .

So before we judge any book or company take some time to see :

-Who are they?

-Are they trustworthy?

-Can we invest our money in their products?

-Are the management real professionals?

-Will we receive a value for what we spend?

- How quick the ROI is?

We can surely do some proper checks by looking into their website before doing our transaction with them. We can see:

-Whether they update their information regularly or not?

-Their blog or review are good enough to believe them or not?

-Are they doing their corporate social responsibility part well or not?

-What does clients testimonials tell about them?

Any many more.

So next time when we purchase a book or look for a company, lets not just go by its cover. Analyse and act with our reasoning.

And, as per Berkshire Hathaway Inc website, If ever I have a chance to meet Mr Buffet, I will ask one question why you haven't updated your website to CMS or any other platform, though it will be a silly and stupid question to ask to a man who love being simple and know what he is doing and whose each second is more worth than our annual salary.

Doing Things Differently: Successful Minds

We have seen so many people in our daily lives who are successful and are great leaders . They did, doing, or have done things which were extraordinary, unique. That's why we hear their name frequently as an exemplary role models from different sources.

I was and am still quite impressed with such minds. I've been trying to find out what are the qualities that are present in such people.

I remember one saying from the author of a motivational book ' You Can Win' Mr Shiv Khera : " ''Winners don't do different things , they do things differently". I believe, this is so true.

Warren Buffet , Steve Jobs, Dhirubhai Ambani, Amitabh Bachchan these are some of the name who have not only balanced their professional life but also personal life. They are today or were much happy and successful person then many of us.

The Key note is that they were not born with success written on their forehead, they worked hard to attain their goals. They believed their instinct and trusted their process.

Here are few of the ideal charisma of such successful people,and how do they do things with a difference .

- They build up SMART goals and work to hard to achieve their vision.

- They work out of their comfort zone which many of us don't do.

- They are more interested in joining a circle of successful and inspiring people.

- They balance their personal and professional life.

- They learn from their mistakes and take charge of their responsibility.

- They love what they do and always try to find answers of question where they want to go in near future.

- They make the process simple and easier to understand.

- They respect and love their peers and praise the deserved one.

- They always try to improve their productivity and learning methods.

- They measure their performances and their employee performances, and give feedback and training necessary to improve their skills.

- They are quick decision maker and take every opportunities that comes in their way.

- Above all they believe themselves.

We may have different role models and different perception, but if we look at our role models we will certainly find something unique that made them successful .

To end this, I came across a quote from Henri Matisse:
"It has bothered me all my life that I do not paint like everybody else."

I say you can, and you will. Just paint yourself with your vision that you want to do and work hard to reach that goal.

Wear Your Pyjamas Tight: Knowing A Leader in You.

Wear Your Pyjamas Tight, OK !!

Well this topic is really interesting to me and my mind was just confused after it knocked down at my mind door.

One of my Guru, Mr James asked me today to finish one assignment, and it was all about me. The topic was ''To develop oneself as a Strategic Leader''.

The moment he said to me my pyjamas just went down, and it was really embarrassing for myself, I feel naked ; though obviously my Guru didn't knew that my pyjamas went down in my mind already . Embarrassing isn't it?

So what made me think that I have lost grip of my lovely pyjamas?

I am sure when you come across such questions suddenly, and been asked to answer a concrete vision, you will also loose your pyjamas or pants or even underwear, unless if you don't wear it. :)

Now, let me be clear here; my pyjamas are my ongoing dreams and they were so many that mind was just full with them, so when my guru asked me, I couldn't answer him. To get to know the answer I went to library and bought two books to know how I can be a strategic leader and come up with a solid plan and vision. Here are they :

Well, the point here is very simple, as a person we are so much filled with our dreams and visions and have so much broad goals that we forget the basics.

I came to know that to reach our future goals we need to start from the very first ground. You just can't jump to get success to reach your goals. You have to learn how to walk first and really need to learn the A, B, C, D’s inside you and inside your dreams and even into your business & market.

Obviously the best body is when it grows naturally where every cell is performing well. If we try to make our body unnaturally big when we are kid and feed it with foods that are not good for our health, then the body function doesn't work well and our system becomes abnormal. And, this applies to individuals and even to your business growth.

You just can't straightly jump into another territory or mix up with so many other players in the market. If you need a solid market you need to have solid product and build organically. We need to be specific towards our dreams, specific towards our goals, business plans and have a concrete specific vision.

So if say , you have to open a company and just thinking and mixing your plans and ideas in your mind with just another dream that you want to pursue , you will surely get nowhere and become a pendulum in your life . Even if you have a business but don't have specific purpose of your existence in the market then you will end up nowhere.

So wear your pyjamas so tight that nobody can pulled it down, unless you pulled it by yourself or give permission to do so.

Once again,let us remember the old tortoise and rabbit story theme.'' Slow and Steady Wins the Race’’ and learn our own A, B, C, D’s fonts more specifically; and know what they really means. Later on we can make them colorful bold, italics so that our total sentence font stands awesome against other fonts. To lead the market, first we need to be the market leader.

And, at last with regards to my assignment submission, I will try my best to submit, else I will ask my little kids Siddhartha and Sakshi, crossing my fingers, to submit on my behalf to Mr James, when they grow up naturally in due course of time.

So Do You Want To Be An Entrepreneur?

We as human beings are so much in numbers that if we walk in a crowded road we will get lost and nobody will even bother to notice us. But, if in the same group say, Mr Mark Zuckerberg walks with other people, almost all will recognize him. Don’t they?

So what’s the difference between us and him? Probably you may already have guessed the answer. He is a successful entrepreneur.

When I was in senior school, I was a House Captain and at that time it was so good experience that everybody in that big school used to recognize me. Let me tell you frankly, it feels really great to be recognizable. But, now as the time is passing by I am also bit lost in this crowd too.

In school we study to become successful people in our lives and come up with many dreams; but as we move forward with the time we somehow loose our inner spirit to become successful due to life challenges. Having been worked almost a decade in good job positions, yet I am not satisfied after all these years; and I assume many of you are in the same positions.

I am writing this article just to wake myself up from my dreams and come into realty and try to take some actions so that I can convince myself that I am on the right track. May be some of you will read this write up and may remember my name for few seconds, but sooner or later you will again forget it. I don’t want that. I came to know that to be remembered for long time you need to do extraordinary things.

To be famous and successful need dedication and persistence to hard work and that is what Entrepreneurship is all about. You will get recognized you will be successful and you will even have plenty of Cash for your retirement and your family welfare, and you will surely add some value to economic development by creating jobs.

So what it takes to become an Entrepreneur?

Whenever we see this word, we all feel to become one but there are very few who succeed. In this instance I remember a quote from Mr Peter Druker ‘The best way to predict the future is to create it.’

Entrepreneurship is all about creating yourself and foreseeing a better future through your hard work and, of course that doesn't come easily. Every great responsibility brings greater challenges and risk and takes time.

Though I am not an entrepreneur at this moment but after working with some of them and watching their actions, I like to highlight some questions which may be of assistance in knowing ourselves whether we have that courage and passion to become an entrepreneur.

But let me first tell you one thing, by just opening a firm you don’t become an entrepreneur unless you 100% devote yourself to make you succeed. And, that’s what makes a difference to become a big company and successful business person.

So here are some questions putting down in front of you, just if you think of becoming an entrepreneur.

Can you bear the burden of financial instability?

You may be at present getting good salary in the form of pay checks or through bank transfers by doing a job, and that might be going pretty well. If you think of becoming an entrepreneur you may have to suffer huge losses and even you may go bankrupt; and this needs an answer. Would you like to continue your job and have safety net or would you like to leap forward and see a bigger world? Choice is yours.

Can you manage your family life along with operating your business?

You may have noticed many of the successful entrepreneurs spend their more time focussing on developing their businesses instead into family, which may not look good to your spouse, children and other family members. Thus family and business life may not go in the same direction.

Are you a good manager who can lead a team?

Opening a company surely needs support from many other people, and as we know people differ in their behaviors and beliefs and can resist change. Even they may not like your behavior Are you the one who can take them on your board for your successful entrepreneurial journey?

Can you Sale?

Selling is an art. Knowing things may sound good at one instance, but implementing and selling is a key feature to get your ideas, plans and products into action. You may have knowledge and dreams but when knowledge meets skill then there comes a speed that takes you on to a successful implementation and closing better deals. Selling is key to entrepreneurial success. Are you comfortable enough in taking selling pressures?

Are you a risk taker and decision maker?

Being an entrepreneur you will face many challenges and you will have to implement many strategies. Implementing risky strategies needs a decision maker in action. Can you decide on a course of action by yourself even no body supports you?

Think of yourself as an entrepreneur for while and find out some of these questions answers. If you have got an idea, and have the passion and persistence to make it happen then you can do it. It’s you who know what you want, and it’s again you, who knows what is best for you.

I have noticed many launched start-ups fail not only due to lack of capital, lack of product portfolio, competition and lack of awareness to their product pricing; but they fail just because of their co-founders mismatch and misunderstanding between them.

Many of you might have noticed in time that there are circumstances which do not match as per your expectation with your founding member or partner.

There are few critical points, which are good if they can be resolved or can be agreed on as early as possible, so that you will have a smooth run in your company and your company can have a bright future.

How you will divide the shares? In case of two partners many of you do 50-50% which is fine and many of the start-ups have done well; but sometimes 50-50 partnership causes a problem in making strategic decisions. It’s also relevant in this case to think of a question before launching a business- Do I really need a Partner?

How the profit will be shared or who gets what return from their company? i.e. compensation. Sometimes the idea of ‘I do more then you’ becomes heavier in partnership.

Who will make the operation decision related to product pricing, marketing, hiring of professionals and who should be doing a strategic decision to lead the company? In such case I go for ONE CEO.

It’s worth to discuss the personal goals of the founders about the company future and also about a question - Will they be taking it as primary job to run the company; in case they have other companies in hand or have a full time job with good rate of pay ? This clear picture will lead to better understanding between the partners and good results for the company.

There comes a time when some founding member does not wish to continue with the organisation and they want to leave. In such cases it is better to be clear on the exit policy for partners. This situation can really have a bad consequences not only for the business but the in the eyes of people who work in the organisation.

Many conflicts can be resolved with negotiation and understating or with a mediator/advisor to resolve the conflicting situations. And, many can have bad headaches all nights with door opening to legal dispute resolution.

Whenever a question comes in front of me how to move ahead or or even when it relates to any particular business scenarios, I always try to find answers to the question of 'Why' and try to find a solution by the magic effects of 'How'.

These two words are so powerful that if we analyse them in our business context we may be moving towards the path of finding solutions in our job or business scenarios. And, they equally relates to when it comes to your own personal development as well.

Few question you may ask yourselves or your partner at formal meetings :

1) Why we are not getting the required ROI?
2) Why we are lacking behind our competitors?
3) Why the customer are choosing our rivals when the same service we provide at our business doors?
4) Why is our price fluctuating so much and Why we are unable to put a standards on our price?
5) Why the product is not building it's reputation when we are providing quality products in
our business?

And then we can analyse our answers through gathering around in morning Brain storming session or some SMT's.

Keep Calm and Mind Your Own Business

I recently came across some entrepreneurial circle of Nepal via social media. It was great to watch my brothers engaging and coming up with new ideas. Most of the focus was in agriculture sector. I believe this sort of group really encourages entrepreneurship within us. But, we also have to keep in mind that we have to develop our inner strength first and interfere in other business less.

The fact ‘Mind your Own Business’ I believe is very strong notion to look at. If we all can mind our own doing’s I think it will be easy for all of us to concentrate on our activities and bring good results not only in entrepreneurial side but also in our personal livings and social aspects.

Let the student study. Let the entrepreneurs bring new products to the market and let the leaders do their politics in good faith, which is beneficial for the society and the nation. And, let the government focus on development policies, so that we can go beyond our national boundaries to become multinational nation.

If we had done our jobs well, major issue of load shedding wouldn't have happened. Third party interference wouldn't have been there in our land and the gas and oil prices could have been adjustable. The concept of Gross National Happiness could have increased, and foreign investors may have come like floods. At this moment for me this seems to be fictional notions. Why foreign investors choosing India and China but not us? The only reason is because they are emerging and they have built their core competence more strong now. If they are emerging why can’t we? Where is our competence gone that rest inside of our land and our people’s heart? We have resources lined up in our country but where is the use? Why can’t be our educational system be more practical and vocational, so that youngsters, soon after their study fit in the right boxes in the market. In this regard I say to all ‘Be Bahadur or Be Bahadur’. I hope you understand what I mean.

Being a humanly nature we have interest in finding other’s juicy affairs and making ourselves happy, but does that make any importance to us or does that make our soul happy at the end ? If somebody is successful or is rich maybe it’s all due to their hard work and there is no point in being jealous with them. What we need to know is minding our own business and making our own efforts in bringing our results fruitful for future growth. There is no point in cheating to ourselves. These things we need to find out by ourselves only.

Why we have to bother about others without looking at ourselves? I say, if we are too generous then we should involve in a charity to develop the community and erase the poverty and injustice like Mrs Dil Shoba Shrestha or Ms Anuradha Koirala, otherwise we should concentrate on our own business to make it stronger for the future development. I assume these two ladies success was due to their strength and determination in their own duties inside of their boundaries’.

Keeping our hands, legs and minds in others affairs will bring harm to us and our relationship environments. We are sole responsible for making ourselves rise from our competitors. But this also doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t keep an eye on our competitors. Yes, we can look at them and learn from them and implement their successful strategies in our own operations, but it is also necessary that we shouldn’t interfere in their activities unless it’s against the law and humanity. Why can’t we become the next Bill Gates, Richard Branson or Mark Zuckerburg? We have time to spend too much on facebook, twitter and other social media criticizing others, but why don’t we think to develop such successful platforms in our own land, or at least make alike their successful strategies in our dealings and operations. These notions we need to think at.

I am fortunate that I am able to see some overseas territory .Sometimes when I walk down to some of the streets in London; I find many Asian continents bank operating at their full speed and developing their economy from abroad. Why our nation doesn't have any banks in overseas when the people like the giant tycoons have the capacity to invest in new ventures in overseas; and investment policies are at desk to help at our door? Why India, Bangladesh and Pakistan or other Asian continental countries have done to do so in overseas or have brought foreign investments in their territory? This is all because we are not developing our own core competencies, rather we believe in a hope of third party to control and develop our own resources. This is all lack of our strength to believe in ourselves and in our own consciousness. Learning from those who already have gone the success phase, there is no harm in implementing to our environment. We need to bring entrepreneurial skills in each of us by concentrating on issues which are relevant to our life and to our society without interfering in other’s activities.

Before we do any action in any other affairs we should at least think twice:

Why we are involving in other’s affairs?
Is the issue really concern us?
If the issue is affecting us then only it’s good to make our operational move to tackle the issues.
With regards to national issues, one thing we need to understand is its government affairs to control the activities which are not benefiting to the society and for its people development, but not ours. That’s why we have appointed the officials for. And yes, if the issue is really destroying our identity in regards to our freedom to have a free air, inflation, employment, educational and business operations, then a way can be achieved via a peaceful protest to get the things right by raising a voice, so that concerned officials take actions.

What we all need is the consciousness that can take us to our own freedom. We don’t have to be government or the authority ourselves, but we can choose leaders for the authority which can take us to a freedom which every citizen or a human expects. That freedom, which engage ourselves to activities which can lead to our and society development as whole. I believe the notion of minding our own affairs is a way to fulfill our gross national happiness and increase our own business and ultimately the long term effect will be fruitful. And, this can also be applied in running our own business enterprise.

In a hope, next time when we operate or walk down the streets, let’s only do and talk which is relevant to the topic and don’t throw our dirty butts anywhere where we not concerned. Let’s keep minding our own affair which it seems is necessary in our own development.

I just came across interesting points from Mr Steve Siebold. He came up with points which differentiate how rich people differ in their thinking from the average people.

It depends where we actually want to categorize ourselves. If we are passionate to become rich and even if we fall in middle class or are poor, here are some 21 Points from his book which you too might be interested in reading and judge ourselves and our thinking how we have thought all these years.
