Last November I was privileged to photograph the wedding of Lauren and James at Kumeu Valley Estate in Auckland. It was a scorching hot, beautiful November day and a great day for a wedding.

One of the things I always like about weddings is when you get to hang out with a cool bunch of people, and that’s exactly what I had here.

Thanks to both families for having me along for Lauren and James’ special day – it was a blast!

I’d never shot a Sri Lankan wedding before, and I’m smitten! What a wonderful set of …family and friends these guys have, and I was gobsmacked by how fabulous Rumesha looked on both days. Isuru’s red sneakers on the second day were a masterstroke, and underlined how important fun was in this wedding.

Anyway, enjoy the images. I had a ball creating them!

Hi everyone – hope the transition into spring (and eventually summer!) is agreeing with you…

I’m looking to update the website with some fresh, new faces, and am on the hunt for some cute kids to photograph so I was wondering if I could ask for your help.

If you’re interested in having your child photographed, then I need pre-school kids (preferably walking) and you need to be in the Auckland general vacinity. I’ll do the shoot for free (usually $300) and as a thank you I’ll give you a 7″ signed print too!
