I was talking to this lovely young lady today in the lawyer's office, well actually she wasn't young, but she looked younger than me and she was actually five years older. It’s been a wonderful week for television. There has been something on every night on my philadelphia direct tv and I have found myself being a real couch potato for the last few days. While the dirty dishes and laundry have piled up, I have immersed myself in all the drama I can stand. My favorite, by far was the Bachelor finale Monday night. I’ve loved the show since it first started and this season has been full of the catfights and back stabbing that has made it famous. As usual, it wasn’t so much a surprise who was chosen. Instead, it was the story about what happened after the proposal that provided the most fodder for gossip columns around the world. Everyone knew that Ben was going to select Courtney. He was smitten with her from the beginning. The shocker came when it was announced that he had dumped her after seeing her behavior on the show when he wasn’t around! Somehow she managed to worm her way back into his good graces though and once again she is wearing the ring. Wonder how long this one will last?

My husband and I do not have any children. We have always thought about adopting and we finally decided to do so. Our little girl will be with us next week and we are so excited to see her. She is 8 year old and we won’t the best for her. We have fixed up our guest bedroom which is now her bedroom. We bought all new furniture for the room including a bedroom vanity set.

A Walk in the Park

I have always loved being outside. Every summer I always spend it outdoors. I recently bought some land and I really would like to turn it into a park. I want a place where people can bring their pets to play and walk with them.

After finding the perfect piece of land I had a lot of yard work done to it. I want this place to be a nice and clean environment. Being that I’m such a big animal lover my park is set up especially for them. I want to set up a station for dog shows. I purchased aluminum bleachers and portable bleachers just for that. Having events at the park I think would make it more popular. I also am getting a few dog exercise equipment where the owner can help and train their dogs. I am planning to have several pet waste stations placed throughout the park as well.

A device that looks like a wristwatch is used to monitor, measure and record these body activities. It is also not commonly used to test insomnia, but it’s certainly helpful when you need to assess circadian rhythms, sleep-wake cycles and other issues that are associated with insomnia.

There are also a lot of self-administered insomnia tests that are widely available and which you can easily do. If you go online, there are many checklists and questionnaires within your reach to help you identify the symptoms and test if you really have insomnia. I hate to see any of my friends in financial need. I know how that can be. A friend of mine called last week and was talking about some problems she and her family are having. What are sensitive teeth? Sensitive teeth can range from experiencing a mild twinge to excruciating pain that may continue for a matter of hours. If you are suffering from sensitive teeth, you may want to visit your dentist to see if there is an underlying cause to your pain.

Anyone can suffer from sensitive teeth and it can start at any time during your lifetime. So what exactly causes your teeth to become so sensitive? There are numerous reasons, but the most common is when the enamel of your teeth wears away and the dentine beneath becomes exposed.

There are many reasons why the enamel on your teeth may be become thinner or erodes away.

· Another reason teeth become sensitive is if you grind your teeth. When you are sleeping and your teeth grind together, the enamel of the tooth can be worn away causing sensitivity.

· Other causes could be from a cracked or broken tooth, or if you have used tooth bleaching products.

You will feel these sensitivities most when you drink something cold, or from cold hair hitting your teeth when you breathe in. Sometimes hot, sugary or acidic foods and drinks can also cause pain.

If you want to try over the counter products to ease the pain of sensitive teeth, there is a plethora of different toothpastes or mouthwashes you can try. There are also products available that you can rub directly on the sensitive tooth. If after using these products for a couple of weeks you have not had any improvement you will probably want to visit your dentist to see if there is an underlying cause for the tooth pain.

Dentists can use fluoride gels, rinses, or special varnishes that can add protection to the tooth where the enamel has become worn down. If this also doesn’t help, your dentist may seal or fill in around the neck of the tooth where the roots have become exposed.

After I graduated from college last year, I got a job offerin Dallas. My parents didn’t want me to take it because I would be so far away from them. I don’t think they understand that I never had any intentions of going back to live with them after college. It’s sweet that they want me to come back to San Antonio and live near them, but I wouldn’t be happy there. I also didn’t get a job offer there, so I wouldn’t have had anything to do. I tried to talk to them about why they were so worried, and they said they were scared of me living in a big city all alone. I tried to reassure them by telling them that I would look into texas home security and get an alarm system. That made them feel better, but they still didn’t let up. I was really nice to them about it, but what I really felt like telling them is that they are lucky I’m not moving further away! Dallas is only a five-hour drive from San Antonio, and they are totally overreacting.

Having head lice is not very dangerous, however, it can be very annoying and really contagious. It’s very common especially on children but lice can infect some adults too. It can be frustrating for parents especially when they are clueless as to how to help their children to be free from lice. Children, mostly girls from 3 to 4 years old, can get infected and this can result to scalp itch, inflammation, irritation and even infection.

You would know that your children have head lice especially if they keep scratching their itchy head, or when you see some rashes on their necks due to lice bites. You may also see lice about the size of a sesame seed crawling on their scalp but these are very hard to catch because they crawl fast. You will also find nits or lice eggs attached on your child’s hair. If this happens, don’t panic because there are many ways to treat head lice.

Lice shampoo is one of the most common remedies for treating head lice. Sometimes, doctors recommend using a medicated cream rinse or hair lotion to kill the lice. These are readily available in the market or over the counter so you don’t have to worry about having a hard time finding one. Some brands even sell products online then ship it to your doorstep to make it convenient for you. Do not fret if the lice doesn’t go away immediately after treatment because it can take several days before it can completely eradicate the pests and even longer to remove the itch. In addition, be careful not to use the products excessively because remember that these are still pesticides which can be harmful for your child’s hair and skin if not used properly.

You can also use a lice comb to remove the nits, or remove the nits and head lice manually especially if you think that your child is only lightly infected. This should work especially if you are not too comfortable to use anti-lice shampoo on your child’s still sensitive scalp; however, some people are simply grossed out with the insects and would rather use the products. A few days before starting treatment, make sure you also wash and clean your child’s clothes, bed sheets, pillowcases, hats, car seats and other stuff that may have nits or lice on it.

Some parents actually shave their child’s head just so they can get rid of the head lice, but you don’t have to do this to your child and cause anxiety. There are also alternative and natural home remedies that you can try to remove head lice. For example, you can put olive oil, tea tree oil, or even mayonnaise on your child’s hair to kill the lice. Just make sure you rinse it off thoroughly.

Now you know how to treat head lice without panicking but of course it’s also best if you consult your family doctor for their recommended treatment. Having head lice should not be difficult for you and your family and it shouldn’t cause anxiety anymore in your child for having “bugs” on their hair.
