I'm sitting here in the mountains of Northern California, on a clear, bright, sunny and breezy day with a 60 degree near perfect temperature. The canyon below my house is alive with sunlight and glowing pine needles shiver on the trees that forest my view, as far as the eye can see. I am happy and grateful to be alive.

"I Am Sending Light to All of You. And Love in a Great Big Cosmic Tidal Wave".

That's the WOW! factor of how it is to live here, feasting on the magnificence of nature, inspired by those very thoughts and feelings all the time.

And, tapping into, what I call, "Incredible Mind", that transcendent state of Being inspired by Nature where Light touches all and heals all.

All I can think is, wouldn't it be wonderful if somehow everyone could experience that same blissed out state of beingness, and find it so desirable, and powerful, that it shifted the consciousness of all in this world?

What would it be like to be truly Whole again? To feel truly Alive? To realize world peace. A clean slate?

I am left with interesting questions to ponder from this Meditation with Nature today.

(NaturalNews) One of the most extraordinary documents in human history -- the Bill of Rights -- has come to an end under President Barack Obama. Derived from sacred principles of natural law, the Bill of Rights has come to a sudden and catastrophic end with the President's signing of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), a law that grants the U.S. military the "legal" right to conduct secret kidnappings of U.S. citizens, followed by indefinite detention, interrogation, torture and even murder. This is all conducted completely outside the protection of law, with no jury, no trial, no legal representation and not even any requirement that the government produce evidence against the accused. It is a system of outright government tyranny against the American people, and it effectively nullifies the Bill of Rights.

In what will be remembered as the most traitorous executive signing ever committed against the American people, President Obama signed the bill on New Year's Eve, a time when most Americans were engaged in the consumption of alcohol. It seems appropriate, of course, since no intelligent American could accept the tyranny of this bill if they were sober.

This is the law that will cement Obama's legacy in the history books as the traitor who nullified the Bill of Rights and paved America's pathway down a road of tyranny that will make Nazi Germany's war crimes look like child's play. If Bush had signed a law like this, liberals would have been screaming "impeachment!"

Why the Bill of Rights matters

While the U.S. Constitution already limits the power of federal government, the Bill of Rights is the document that enumerates even more limits of federal government power. In its inception, many argued that a Bill of Rights was completely unnecessary because, they explained, the federal government only has the powers specifically enumerated to it under the U.S. Constitution. There was no need to have a "First Amendment" to protect Free Speech, for example, because there was no power granted to government to diminish Free Speech.

This seems silly today, of course, given the natural tendency of all governments to concentrate power in the hands of the few while destroying the rights and freedoms of their own people. But in the 1780's, whether government could ever become a threat to future freedoms was hotly debated. By 1789, enough revolutionary leaders had agreed on the fundamental principles of a Bill of Rights to sign it into law. Its purpose was to provide additional clarifications on the limitation of government power so that there could be absolutely no question that government could NEVER, under any circumstances, violate these key principles of freedom: Freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, freedom from illegal searches, the right to remain silent, the right to due process under law, and so on.

Of course, today's runaway federal government utterly ignores the limitations placed on it by the founding fathers. It aggressively and criminally seeks to expand its power at all costs, completely ignoring the Bill of Rights and openly violating the limitations of power placed upon it by the United States Constitution. The TSA's illegal searching of air travelers, for example, is a blatant violation of Fourth Amendment rights. The government's hijacking of websites it claims are linking to "copyright infringement" hubs is a blatant violation of First Amendment rights. The government's demand that all Americans be forced to buy private health insurance is a blatant violation of Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution -- the "commerce clause."

Now, with the passage of the NDAA, the federal government has torpedoed the entire Bill of Rights, dismissing it completely and effectively promising to violate those rights at will. As of January 1, 2012, we have all been designated enemies of the state. America is the new battleground, and your "right" to due process is null and void.

Remember, this was all done by the very President who promised to close Guantanamo Bay and end secret military prisons. Not only did Obama break that campaign promise (as he has done with nearly ALL his campaign promises), he did exactly the opposite and has now subjected all Americans to the possibility of government-sponsored kidnapping, detainment and torture, all under the very system of secret military prisons he claimed he would close!

"President Obama’s action today is a blight on his legacy because he will forever be known as the president who signed indefinite detention without charge or trial into law," said Anthony D. Romero, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union.

Obama's signing statement means nothing

Even while committing an act of pure treason in signing the bill, the unindicted criminal President Obama issued a signing statement that reads, in part, "Moving forward, my administration will interpret and implement the provisions described below in a manner that best preserves the flexibility on which our safety depends and upholds the values on which this country was founded..."

Anyone who reads between the lines here realizes the "the flexibility on which our safety depends" means they can interpret the law in any way they want if there is a sufficient amount of fear being created through false flag terror attacks. Astute readers will also notice that Obama's signing statement has no legal binding whatsoever and only refers to Obama's momentary intentions on how he "wishes" to interpret the law. It does not place any limits whatsoever on how a future President might use the law as written.

"The statute is particularly dangerous because it has no temporal or geographic limitations, and can be used by this and future presidents to militarily detain people captured far from any battlefield," says the ACLU (http://www.aclu.org/blog/national-s...).

What this means is that the next President could use this law to engage in the most horrific holocaust-scale mass round-up of people the world has ever seen. The NDAA legalizes the crimes of Nazi Germany in America, setting the stage for the mass murder of citizens by a rogue government.

United States of America becomes a rogue nation, operating in violation of international law

Furthermore, the NDAA law as written and signed, is a violation of international law as it does not even adhere to the fundamental agreements of how nations treat prisoners of war:

"...the breadth of the NDAA’s detention authority violates international law because it is not limited to people captured in the context of an actual armed conflict as required by the laws of war" says the ACLU (http://www.aclu.org/blog/national-s...).

In 1789, today's NDAA law would have been called "treasonous," and those who voted for it would have been shot dead as traitors. This is not a call for violence, but rather an attempt to provide historical context of just how destructive this law really is. Men and women fought and died for the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights. People sacrificed their lives, their safety and risked everything to achieve the freedoms that made America such a great nation. For one President to so callously throw away 222 years of liberty, betraying those great Americans who painstakingly created an extraordinary document limiting the power of government, is equivalent todriving a stake through the heart of the Republic.

In signing this, Obama has proven himself to be the most criminal of all U.S. Presidents, far worse than George W. Bush and a total traitor to the nation and its People. Remember, Obama swore upon a Bible that he would "protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic," and yet he himself has become the enemy of the Constitution by signing a law that overtly and callously nullifies the Bill of Rights.

This is nothing less than an act of war declared on the American people by the executive and legislative branches of government. It remains to be seen whether the judicial branch will go along with it (US Supreme Court).

Origins of the Bill of Rights

The Bill of Rights, signed in 1789 by many of the founding fathers of our nation, was based on the Virginia Declaration of Rights, drafted in 1776 and authored largely by George Mason, one of the least-recognized revolutionaries who gave rise to a nation of freedom and liberty.

Mason was a strong advocate of not just states' rights, but of individual rights, and without his influence in 1789, we might not even have a Bill of Rights today (and our nation would have slipped into total government tyranny all the sooner). SECTION ONE of this Virginia declaration of rights states:

"That all men are by nature equally free and independent and have certain inherent rights, of which, when they enter into a state of society, they cannot, by any compact, deprive or divest their posterity; namely, the enjoyment of life and liberty, with the means of acquiring and possessing property, and pursuing and obtaining happiness and safety." Section Three of the declaration speaks to the duty of the Citizens to abolish abusive government:

"That government is, or ought to be, instituted for the common benefit, protection, and security of the people, nation, or community; of all the various modes and forms of government, that is best which is capable of producing the greatest degree of happiness and safety and is most effectually secured against the danger of maladministration; and that, when any government shall be found inadequate or contrary to these purposes, a majority of the community hath an indubitable, inalienable, and indefeasible right to reform, alter, or abolish it, in such manner as shall be judged most conducive to the public weal."

By any honest measure, today's U.S. government, of course, has overstepped the bounds of its original intent. As Mason wrote over 200 years ago, the People of America now have not merely a right but a duty to "reform, alter or abolish it," to bring government back into alignment with its original purpose -- to protect the rights of the People.

Obama violates his Presidential Oath, sworn before God

Article II, Section I of the United States Constitution spells out the oath of office that every President must take during their swearing in:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

In signing the NDAA law into office, Obama has blatantly and unambiguously violated this sacred oath, meaning that his betrayal is not merely against the American people, but also against the Divine Creator.

Given that the Bill of Rights is an extension of Natural Law which establishes a direct heritage of sovereign power from the Creator to the People, a blatant attack upon the Bill of Rights is, by any account, an attack against the Creator and a violation of universal spiritual principles. Those who attempt to undermine the Bill of Rights are attempting to invalidate the relationship between God and Man, and in doing so, they are identifying themselves asenemies of God and agents of Evil.

Today, as 2012 begins, we are now a nation led by evil, and threatened with total destruction by those who would seek to rule as tyrants. This is America's final hour. We either defend the Republic starting right now, or we lose it forever.

I am warning everyone I know to avoid like the plague the internet marketing program called Auto Profit Machine, created by some guy named Max Steigmeier or some such.

Do NOT go near this program. This is a typical bait and switch program. The guy drags around his "consciousness" of God, and blah, blah, blah. He promises that there is a one time fee of $50.00 to "join" and that you need no sponsoring, no learning curve, and basically you don't have to do a thing to collect massive paydays passively.

It is some sort of scam akin to a forced matrix four level deep wherein you get 70% of the commissions generated by others who sign up under you. The other 30% is filtered down to others and it goes on and on and on. The concept is what hooked me in the beginning. That is, until I read all the material involved and realized that unless you market heavily, as I did with You Tube Videos and posts daily on my FB and Twitter accounts, you are screwed. I let it play out for three weeks while I had the flu and watched my investment go - NOWHERE. Not one single penny.

THEN, the pressure starts:

Here is how it went for me: I received a referral from a trusted Internet Marketer names Brian Charles, inviting me to sign up for $50.00, because he thinks the program is the next best thing to sliced bread.

Once you have committed yourself to the one time fee (HA!) as above, you are then continually hounded by sales calls, text messages, promises of bonuses and more blathering, but you MUST attend his next call to get the "special bonuses".

Upon doing so, you find yourself bombarded, literally, with more lies, upsells and "bonuses" which are nothing more than bait to get you to sign up. It keeps going in circles.

The bonuses are worthless. As I found out. HOWEVER, you can pay Max an additional $200. to buy into his ever changing numbers of how many are on his mailing list. HA! First he pitches his million plus mailing list, then it slides down to 800K mailing list. He shows screen shots of income from an entirely different program and, without saying directly, he sneakily implies they are from Auto Profit Machine.

If you are stupid enough to pay him an additional $200. to be on his select mailing list to his ??? (fill in the numbers) I was not stupid to pay him another penny on pure speculation, with zero income on my investment. Also relevant to me, since I am a member of a specific internet marketing forum which has genuine, honest programs and people, with photos, who create them, is the fact that "Max" has no "face" you can see.

Then there is the issue of a REFUND. Just TRY getting one. I have watched this scam go nowhere for 23 days, and I requested a refund. FOUR times to date. What do you get in return? More lies and a copy of their refund policy issued from the ZenDesk which is allegedly the support arm of this "program".

Any true internet marketer KNOWS bone deep that when a customer asks for a refund, you give it to them. Period. So I have had to go to PayPal and file a claim against this fraudulent business. BEWARE. DO NOT BUY INTO THE LIES of his so called profit screen shots, they are not even valid for the site.

Molly Dolly Saved My Life - Flu

Hello Everyone: It's Christmas Day, 2011 for many people, and I am shocked and grateful to be alive today. You see, like countless other Americans who are smart enough to research and learn the depth of duplicity about the poisonous side effects of flu shots, so loudly trumpeted by the government, and Big Pharma, the lying FDA, and other governmental goon agencies, I absolutely REFUSE to allow them into my body.

Dr. Joseph Mercola, and countless other natural health advocates, have published hundreds of articles warning ALL of us about the toxic, killer flu shots that are loaded with mercury and other bio-engineered poisons. Worldwide, those "flu" shots have been proven to be worthless, and for older people, literally one way to be killed off.

So, with all that in mind, and despite extreme care using surgical level hand washing technique (I am a retired Critical Care Registered Nurse), I still got the flu, all thanks to a little kid sneezing in my face while in I was standing in line at the grocery store.

Desperately ill, I could not hold anything in or down. I became extremely dehydrated and ended up with cardiac arrythmias and profound debilitation which required IVs to rehydrate me, and homeopathics to cure the flu, from my most excellent physician, Dr. Corazon Ibarra, at BioIntegrative Health Center International, located in Reno, Nevada.

During the three weeks I have spent in bed recovering, I have had a constant bed companion called Molly Dolly, a tiny, sweet, little runt of a cat whose life I saved after my husband rescued her near death at two days old. She never left my side except to use the cat litter box and to eat. My husband was a wonderful support and made sure all matters that I normally handle were done before he left for work. He also made sure that Molly got extra treats to thank her for her "nursing duties", such as they were.

Several times, I felt my heart stop in my chest. Molly Dolly stood with her tiny little paws on my chest and walked up and down on it. She constantly monitored my breathing, and would bump me repeatedly to awaken when she thought I needed to get something to drink. One night, during the most violent part of the flu where vomiting would NOT stop, she and another cat named Frosti positioned themselves next to my body on each side, purred without stopping, and never left me until I was able to sit up at last without passing out.

This is what I consider the greatest gift anyone could possibly receive, no matter if it is Christmas or whatever. The undying, unconditional, non judgmental, total acceptance that only animals can give humans. No greedy grasping for gifts, or carrying on like
crazy people because they didn't get what they wanted. Nope. Just free, generous and selfless love.

Molly Dolly sleeps with her tiny paws on my arm, or snuggled up next to me when I have had relapses, which, now, thankfully are past. She "monitors" me constantly.
Do animals feel emotions? Oh, yeah! Molly's one little eye, which was ruined when someone poured engine oil on the mother and litter mates to suffocate them, was filled with moisture all the time during her duties as my "nurse". She watched my every move and followed me from room to room when I was able to walk. Try and find that kind of devotion, or even interest from humans, no matter how connected you are, and you will find yourself face to face with a wall of self interest, superficial concern and lots of phony platitudes by and large. NEVER will you find the level of love and devotion that I received from my Molly Dolly, unless you pay for it from professional health providers. The honest part of that is you know what you are paying for, and that it is exactly as it is.

Someone had the gall to judge my experience and then tell me I was bitter. Seriously. That's the compassionless attitude that I am referring to when I speak of typical human responses.

My reaction to their B.S. is this: how could I be bitter about anything when I have been given one of God's little angels in feline form there to love me well.

A day of rest is an important part of our lives and spirituality. Well, it is wonderful in theory, but nearly impossible in practice for many people. Particularly for health care and emergency services workers.
For some, it is the notion of going to church that is a turn off, so they boogie out into nature and get their spiritual boost there. Below is a clergyman's interpretation.

“What the Sabbath is about is honoring life and improving the life of those around you,” he said. “I think it’s even more necessary and important now because what technology does is enable us to never stop working.”
I often hear the refrain, “I am just so busy; I have no time,” and “Isn’t time just flying by?” We live in a hyperactive and harried world. We try to cram in as much as possible, and I believe we often miss the opportunity to be still and to appreciate the present. I know I am guilty of filling every moment with activity, and at times, I can be overwhelmed.
Nearly every religion has some focus on making room for rest in our lives. The most practiced world religions recognize a day of rest, and many rituals and celebrations are built around that. God’s wisdom
"Perhaps we can ask our public leaders to set Sundays as a day of rest — a Sabbath, so we might have at least one day per week in which activities would not be obligatory. A day of rest is an important part of our lives and spirituality. I find the analogy stated above that God's wisdom tells us that we take a day of rest just because God did a bit of a stretch. Still, when it all comes down to it, a day of rest is always a welcome thing.
The choice of venue is the question.

Spirituality: The Monks of New Melleray. Here is another point of view by several priests who have visited this extremely beautiful facility that is peaceful and encourages devotional studies.

"In 1791 (following the precedents set by the tyrannical regime of the English king, Henry VIII) the revolutionary government of Paris ordered that the great Cistercian abbeys of France were to be violently suppressed and their properties seized. The nation state could tolerate no other cultural ethos other than its own and so the monasteries, which offered a clear and decisive alternative to state control and power, had to be abolished. Besides, they needed the money. This agenda all came crashing down with the downfall of Napoleon and in 1817 Melleray Abbey was established in Brittany. The ethos that gave rise to the suppression of the monasteries in 1791 resurged in 1830; the French monks of Melleray Abbey were arrested and a contingent of Irish and English monks living there were deported. These refugees established Mount Melleray Abbey in Ireland in 1832. It was monks from this monastery who founded New Melleray Abbey in 1849."

I thought after the experience of compline that if this was the last sight I would ever see, I would pass from this world to the next with confidence in the power of Christ to forgive and to save."

Freethought and Spirituality. For those whose interests are directed away from religious doctrine and toward nature, humanism, pantheism and so forth. We judge spirituality based upon the popular notion that America is a "Christian" nation. Far from it. Examples of anti-Christian behavior can be seen in every video, TV show, movie, news report, in the brutal behavior demonstrated toward others in often violent ways by those who claim to be "Good Christians" or whatever. It gives a person a great deal to think about when faced with reality. Here is an article that contains many points of view that are just as worthy of consideration as straight forward dogma articles.

"I write this article in response to our own Sheri Lawson and to another friend, Dr. Valerie Tarico*, who writes for Ex-Christian.net website. While I rely heavily on humanism, I will touch on naturalism and, ironically, Pantheism, which relates, I hear, to a future God Discussion Radio show guest.
Can one be a freethinker or an intellectual and spiritual too? Various people have asked that question in many different ways lately. Three years ago, even Salman Rushdie asked a similar question of Molleen Matsumura, AKA Sweet Reason, on The Humanist Network News Podcast, which is the first eleven minutes of the show. Sweet Reason’s basic thesis was, “Let’s reclaim the language and not recreate a new language.”
While some atheists may disagree with me, I do not think spirituality is exclusive to theists, but notice, I did change the word slightly. I also think, with some redefining of the word, we freethinkers can reclaim what is part of the human condition. Another way to ask this question is, “What does it mean to be human?” That is the basis of many such questions, which I often ponder, especially since I left religion.
First, how is spirituality part of the human condition? To answer this question, I must look to humanism and psychology to find a satisfactory answer.

None of this is about a god of religion, but rather a reverence for animals, nature, the earth, and the universe as a whole. However, the idea of reverence for the earth and the cosmos is part of where the idea of “all god” occured, thus the term Pantheism or “Sexed up atheism” as Richard Dawkins once called and Pantheism.net wrote a response.

An external stimulus triggers internal chemistry in the brain, causing us feelings we can label “numinous”, “transcending”, “awesome”, “spiritual”, and, one I created for extreme emotions, “quantum influx of disequilibrium”. "The Sages are trying to convey to us how to get a handle on life. They are telling us to set aside a specific time in our day for what life is really all about. Even if most of my day is occupied with the means to get to my end goal, I am not to lose sight of the ends while dealing with the means. Rather, I am to make sure to designate an untouchable time in each day to be directly involved with what really counts—a meaningful conversation with my spouse, quality time with each child, and, most of all, time for introspection, Torah, and God. However, even in the event that a person misses or forgoes his designated commitment to learning or spirituality, Jewish law lays out the backup plan: make sure not to go to sleep without making up what it was that you had designated to accomplish. Thus, such an individual at least holds on to some level of the designated Torah study."

The second American revolution has begun. This blog entry is an act of love from me to you. It is my desire to focus your attention upon a matter that may save your life and your family. For over 25 years, I have been researching this topic at great length and with keen interest. In the past 15 years the changes in our society have escalated in a negative direction. Relentless losses have brought us to our knees, broken, terrified, hopeless. Our Government has failed us on every level. "Once I had a client with a bad habit. I made her keep track and she found she was complaining to friends, several times a day. It seems like if we aren't busy putting others down to make ourselves feel better, then we are busy putting ourselves down to supposedly make someone else feel better. Ugh.
Or we are busy trying to win at "misery poker" so others do what we want them to. For example, always having some ailment or predicament that turns the conversation to your needs -- not the other person's -- and puts them in a position of feeling like they need to help or save you.
Or we are busy hiding our real selves for "fear of rejection." For example, not being honest about your sexuality with people you love.
We are such manipulators. None of this works or makes us feel good, but we are just so chicken that it's where we often stop in our relationships".
Here's the problem with each case.
Case #1: You hide your success or fake-complain to make another feel better. This covers up that you are judging them; you see something awry with them; you have some wisdom to impart or some harsh reality to wake them up to and you are too afraid to do it. You justify your fear with the arrogant assumption that they can't handle it. You do the dialogue in your head instead of with them. You become "better than" and supposedly powerless to speak (all at once), while they become a mute pawn of your unspoken judgments.
Then we wonder why we don't feel totally powerful and peaceful. It's because we live in compartments, never unifying our voice and speaking as ourselves, our real selves, even when it's ugly. Especially when we have something true, harsh or ugly to say, we need to say it. When the thoughts see the light of day and the other person gets to respond, only then can the thoughts change or lead to some good.
Case #2: The problem with manipulating others to feel sorry for you and do stuff for you is that it's never enough. Also, you have to be so convincing that you start to believe you have no power and it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Plus, because your real purpose in life is to empower yourself, and there is no substitute, you will never be fully satisfied with other people's help anyway.
Case #3: The problem with hiding yourself or something about you in the name of being loved is that you never feel real love anyway, because you aren't being the real you. Sure, someone could reject you when you tell the truth (though they usually don't if you do it with grace), but you fulfill the prophecy of being rejected and alone by not being the real you. Plus, in your arrogance of "knowing" how they will respond, you turn them into mute pawns in that they don't get to choose their response. Again, the dialogue is in your head, not in real life. And then by golly, it seems to you that they have rejected you, when you have rejected them..."

A saint cannot be indifferent and apathetic, nor can a newspaper. At the same time, he cannot be partial and take sides either. Saints should not align with any party or any single ideology. Or else they wouldn't do justice to the very party they align with. It is simply not in his nature. In the same way, a saint will always have to respond to the need of the vishwatma (society). He cannot shy away from any aspect of life, whether it is counseling in personal affairs of people, airing his opinion or guiding in the collective concerns of society.

They will have to cover all fields whether economic, social, obituary, entertainment, sports and even spirituality!! Whether good or bad, right or wrong, they have to intervene. Saints will not wait for people to come and ask for help. They plunge into activity. They do not need an invitation before the action or an appreciation after the action is completed.

"I think it's fair to say that there's good reason to keep God out of politics. Religion and politics are both combustible subjects, and throwing them into each other's arms is sure to cause a fire. Civil life has very different duties from religious life.You cannot defend yourself in court for breaking a law by claiming that God told you to. No. But religion is such an easy refuge for "us" versus "them" thinking that it proves inescapable.

Such hypocrisy is par for the course part of the political game, and no one has been harmed by it - until it is taken seriously..."

God's love expresses itself somewhat differently according to the kingdom and the kingdoms' overall conception of love.
God's love finds its greatest expression in the 5th kingdom because the 5th kingdom has the highest conception of love compared to the other 4 kingdoms.

Since the 4th kingdom is connected to the 5th kingdom and to the other 3 kingdoms, the human kingdom can act as a medium or channel for the expression of the type of love found in the 5th kingdom. The love of the 5th kingdom can thus become manifest in every other lesser kingdom when the 4th kingdom unites in consciousness with the 5th kingdom

The Digital Murder of Your Ex. This article discusses one of the basest level of human behavior as it is expressed online by some very disturbed people.

"Unless you are a sociopath, or a person with some psychotic inability to control your violent emotions, it is doubtful that you would ever resort to murder to avenge your feelings at the demise of your marriage or relationship. However, a new form of murder has arisen in our digital age, and as long as it is done right, the perpetrator is not charged with any crime. They only have to live with their own conscience, or more aptly, their lack thereof.

Instead of picking up a knife or a gun to seek retribution, people now choose the Internet as their weapon of choice. From a simple rant on YouTube to a custom website, scorned spouses resort not to the courts, but to their computer. There is clearly an increasing trend of estranged or former spouses or exes to digitally "kill" their former love online.

Just a few examples that I have seen: Imagine a husband whose wife was arrested for a crime, and another who had an abortion -- both things that no one except for them had any knowledge. Then, unbeknownst to the wife, the husband surreptitiously obtained her medical or court records, scanned them and posted them online. Or the husband, in need of medicine for which he would be utterly embarrassed for another person to know about, with his former spouse threatening or actually posting photos of his prescription bottles online -- clearly bearing his name in a newly created website photo gallery. How about the spouse that goes to the pharmacy and gets a printout of all of their partners' medicines, scans that and posts it online?"

Forgive and be forgiven. During the past 34 years of my private practice as a spiritual/psychotherapist, my findings agree with the spiritual teachings herein.

The single most transformative element that manifests a will to change from negative patterns into a new life free of past patterns that brought such grief to the soul is found in the highest spiritual blessing,The State of Grace, forgiveness!

“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 6:14-15 NKJV).

An unforgiving spirit is a real handicap. Forgiveness is one of those minimum courtesies and virtues of a Christian. Lacking a forgiving spirit classifies us as just another sinner in need of salvation.
When a person is powerless to repay a debt because of its magnitude and his own poverty, then there is only one way that the debt can ever be cancelled. That is through forgiveness by the one who is owed.

We find ourselves in that position before God because of our sins. How grateful we should be that God has chosen to forgive us if we will just repent and receive Christ as our Savior, who paid the debt we owed by His dying on the cross in our place.

It’s up to Christians to take the initiative in resolving problems with others. Christians should not expect the other person to take the initiative, as the other person may not be spiritually strong enough to do it. Unforgiveness is a mark of spiritual weakness.

When we pray the Lord’s Prayer, we pray, “Forgive us our trespasses (debts or sins) as we forgive them that trespass against us.” Since this prayer often becomes a routine recitation of the prayer that Jesus gave His Disciples for an example of how to pray, we are in danger of committing sin by a it if we don’t sincerely mean it!"

Are there some things we can't forgive? Whew! What a question! One that demands a scrupulous review of events in our lives that need to be forgiven. Whether recent or long past, and for countless reasons, this global "house cleaning" must be done to free up our soul and spirit for greater things ahead. It's just that simple and that important.

"... "Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive? As many as seven times?" Jesus replies, "I say to you, not seven times but 77 times." In other words, there are no limitations on forgiveness.

But is it ethically right, or is it even possible, to forgive the terrorists who attacked America 10 years ago?
One could argue that the terrorists were not our “brothers.” Rather, they were our enemies, and so Jesus' teaching does not apply to them. Unfortunately for that argument, however, Jesus also teaches his followers, “Love your enemies.”
