It’s been a while since I’ve posted.  I apologize.  Trust me, it’s not that I’ve taken a leave of absence, but because my year started out so strong that I haven’t had time to catch up with blogging.   I guess that’s a good thing.  Thank you all for your business!

My 2011 wedding season is obviously over and I’m now booking for 2013 since I only have one spot left for 2012.  This year is going to be absolutely amazing!  Most of the work I have been doing lately are maternity sessions.  I wanted to take a few minutes to share a few shots from a session I did last weekend.  Lay Choo & Elliott were absolutely amazing and I had so much fun with them!   Thank you Baby’s Bungalow for the amazing referral!

It’s defnitely been a while since I’ve blogged.  But you all know that I would much rather be behind the camera than in fron of my computer.  This post is a little delayed but it’s too fun not to share!  I met Stephanie & Gary at the Botanical Gardens (where Gary purposed to Stephanie).  Their session had perfect lighting! I love scheduling engagement sessions an hour before the sunset.

Details, Details Details.  Marlene & Brendan didn’t miss a single detail with their intimate October 1st wedding!

I could tell  Stacy K Floral (in Rochester)  did the flowers as soon as I saw Marlene’s bouquet. Her style is just so unique!  If you live in Rochester and need a florist she is definitely the BEST in town!!.

Little known Fact:  Brendan’s grandparents were married in this church.  There is something to be said about tradition! 

Brendan’s cufflinks were maps of the cities that they were born in.  Brendan is from Buffalo and Marlene was born in London. Such a cute touch!

I’ve worked with this exact car a few times this year and can honestly I never notice the license plate until their wedding.

Most people that know me know that I have a love affair with good food.  Tempo is one of my favorite restaurants. Their food is delicious and the service is always outstanding!!   I really should be careful when blogging menus as I’m now craving their Gnocchi!

Marelene & Brandon skipped the traditional sign in book and instead decided to make a time capsule and will open in on their 5 year anniversary.   What a cool idea!

I’ve never ever blogs envelopes before but their guests were pretty creative!

Friday weddings are always so fun for me and Melanie & Kevin’s wedding was definitely no exception.  There is something about a first look session that I just love.  It’s probably the fact that these moments are completely private (with the exception that I’m there to photograph it). The pure emotion involved when a bride sees her groom and he sees her for the first time with no one else around seriously brings tears to my eyes every single time, and I can honestly say I have never seen a couple make it through one without tears and tissues.

Congratulations again Melanie & Kevin. Thank you for letting me capture those moments for you!

As promised more blog posting this week.   Charlotte Beach is one of my favorite places in Rochester.  It’s really such a great little area.  I can remember going on dates there when I was in high-school… I spent hours holding hands, eating ice cream and walking the beach.   Ah the memories… =)

I met up with Bridget & Michael and their dog Rocky a couple weekends ago for their engagement session.  They honestly had a perfect weather day.  If you’ve been following my blog for any length of time you might think Bridget looks familiar. Well, you’re right.  Bridget’s twin sister Brittany was married in February!  It’s always so fun getting to photograph siblings.

Thanks for meeting me on a Sunday Bridget & Michael!  When we booked this I didn’t realize it was football season, let alone a home game against New England.  Michael you’re definitely a keeper!!

This picture makes me laugh.  Rocky is such a great little model! 

Without further adieu I am thrilled to blog April & Bobby!  I can honestly say this was the hardest blog posted ever.  I could not make up my mind as to which pictures should be showcased.  This wedding was spectacular!   So much attention to every single detail.  I don’t think there was any part of this wedding that didn’t scream WOW!   April & Bobby you have simply amazing taste and it showed with your perfect wedding.  It was a pleasure working with you.  Congratulations!!!!

Their reception was held at the Convention Center where Sea Bar catered cocktail hour.  Yum! Those beef on weck rolls are always a much-have when I go.
