Cannot say how ecstatic we were to style and be featured on the cover of the Muses Magazine June Issue! A summery issue isn't really our forte (due to our heavy usage of black clothing,) but it was extremely refreshing to don some whimsical white dresses by one of our favs, Mike Vensel.

We set sail on the Hudson with Glam Media and Hawaiian Tropic to indulge in some amazing products and treats :) Although the day was overcast, we still enjoyed trying on the new Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration lotion sunscreen, which is the only thing we will be using for sun protection this Summer. It's available in SPF 12, 30, and 50 (good for Emily), and feels and smells AMAZING. Hosting a boat cruise the SAME DAY that Fleet Week begins... brilliant.

Enjoyed the view from the Milk Studios Penthouse with a slew of rad guests for the Burton Snowboards Après event, which is the Aspen way of saying getting drunk after skiing. Sure we don't ski in Manhattan, but we love an excuse to socialize, don't we? Very pleased with un-stuffy ambiance, including hip hop, cheeseburgers, PBR, and sweet snowboards. We want the one with the skull and roses.

Three things we hold dearly to our hearts: terraces, sunsets, and SOTU designs. Include any one of those in your invite, and we'll for sure stop by the party ;) Had a great time at the Yotel Terrace Kick-Off, and saw some friendly NYC faces we haven't seen in a while! Enjoying the rooftops opening left and right.. still doesn't mean we'll wear pastel though. Sorry.

Naturally at a press preview we find anything in black, red, or animal-print... luckily for us this time it was Stop Staring!, and we could try it all on and choose our favs! Although Chuck Bass was not found, we enjoyed frolicking around The Empire Hotel suite. These cute vintage-inspired body-conscious dresses are perfect for a classy night out, and the romper.. a wilder night ;)

A few snaps from our eventful evening at Webster Hall. Hung out with the lovely Deadbeat Darling bandmates backstage, enjoyed some ice cold Stellas, raged front row as DBD sang some of their new hits, and then hung out/head-banged upstairs with friends as AWOLNATION rocked the effing house. Obsessed with lead singer Aaron Bruno's ability to scream into the mic all night... whilst crawling.

After scouring one of our favorite showrooms, X'Tige, we couldn't keep our hands off the label "handkerchief." When we learned that each piece can be transformed into something else, we had to know how. Luckily for us, the designer (Amy Cheung) was in the city, and we got to delve into the real meaning of handkerchief's designs. Enjoy :)

Had a little Monday Funday at DJ Prostyle's birthday concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom, one of our fav concert/event venues in the city. Pleasantly surprised by all of the spike action going on. Patterns, patterns, patterns! We're absolutely lusting the infinite mixtures of patterns and prints at Desigual! Especially their collaboration with Christian Lacroix... so many beautiful pieces, in such a beautiful space! They even had an amazing juice bar set up, and delicious treats (not just the spread of mouthwatering shoes!)

We can't wait to show you what pieces we got, and I'm sure you're all quite curious how we'll incorporate so much color and design into our semi... ok, completely black wardrobe :) Stay tuned!

Freaking people out is probably in our top 10 favorite things to do... so of course, we plotted and planned to pose as mannequins and then jump at all who passed by. However, we got too excited and just ended up laughing the whole time. Fail. Regardless, we had fun roaming around the store and stairwell in these floral & cobalt minis!

I don't even think it's necessary to explain our stud covered accessories... we're still drooling. Well this rounds up our wonderful trip home to Boston, and the photos from LF Harvard Square & WanderLust event in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation! We were so honored to be apart of the event, and help the cause :)

AH! Okay, get that whole non-emo girls fiasco out of the way! We always have fun yelling in crowds... so we were in our element. We hit the jackpot when we noticed a Harvard University campus tour going on :) CHA-CHING!

We had a wonderful time stumbling around the uneven streets of Harvard Square collecting donations, and doing what we like to call, "the cobble wobble." You know those moments where you ALMOST brake your ankle, crumble a bit, and make it about 3/4 of the way to eating it, but save yourself. Always funny. WanderLust at it's finest :)

We were so thrilled when LF Harvard Square asked us to co-host their annual event to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The day was perfect for some pretty pink photoshoots! (Of course, it was a great excuse to come home and create some havoc on our old stomping grounds.)

We had so much fun playing dress up in their store as shoppers mingled, snaked on delicious treats, and donated to the cause :) We know you all may be shocked about all of the pink... but just wait theres much more color to come... you've been warned.

Normally, you'd assume the WanderLust Girls would be plotting and scheming with the evil Lord Licorice, but today they joined the delightfully delicious cast of Candy Land characters, as Queen Frostine and Princess Lolly, to save King Kandy and his castle.

Lolly awaits the search team to pass by her Lollipop Woods, so she can lure them in with candy.... no longer the sweet and innocent little cardboard cut out you once knew. (They grow up so fast.) Frostine seems cool and collected as she waits with her minions, on her Ice Cream Float in the Ice Cream Sea, for the King's return.

Okay, let's be honest... they are both waiting seductively for some hot rescue men to come in and save them in their time of distress. You would be upset too if Lord Licorice was getting his sticky hands all over your clothes!

Chapter Three: In modern WanderLand, the tyrant known as the Queen of Hearts is much less of a threat. Her and the White Rabbit get along quite well, and even though their castle remains empty, they dress quite swell. Rabbit gave up her "waistcoat" for a skull covered corset, and the Queen has a head of jewels that could clear anyone's debt.

Just uptown from Dee and Dum, and lower ground from Alice and her Mad Hatter chum, these characters of WanderLand hardly cross paths, but the city is theirs, enter and feel their wrath.
