Just some snaps of what my life has been revolved around this week - work , photoshoots for work and having fun with people from work which we've all become so close now, it's amazing. I love my job, it's freedom to me because this is something I chose for myself instead of being assigned to do, you know work is work but loving what you do is a bonus. With that being said, lately I've grown tired of the social network industry, mainly twitter and blogspot and I feel like I want to move on and pursue my career by getting out there and starting fresh! I need more challengers in my life and I feel reaching over 21,000 tweets over the past 2 years is proving nothing to me. I just want to go out there and mainly focus on my work. I may be back over some time, but I can't make that promise.

Spotted this new gorgeous bag from Forever New on Saturday and just had to get it, I love how small and compact it is yet I can still fit in my main items such as my purse, phone, keys and medium size lip balm. What I love about it also is it's color, simply white with gold chains and inside is velvet blue, very nice indeed. Also bought this dress from Dotti on Sunday as it went down to $49.95 from $89.95 within 3 weeks! I was gonna get it while it was still 90 bucks but thank god I didn't because I would of been kicking myself. It's like a dupli of a Herve Leger dress which is on my wish list, so this dress will do for now :) I chose the coral pink instead of the dark blue, which was also gorgeous! but turned down the blue as I firstly imagined myself to suit blue colors.. turns out my mind is effing with me, which is a shame but I still love the coral. I normally just buy dresses for the reason of needing something to wear for a special occasion, but for once I just bought this as the price went down, so I really don't know when I'll wear this dress next..

Spent the Saturday night attending my boyfriends sisters (I'll just say sis in law because we are practically family) hens, while the boys spent theirs at the bucks. This was my first hens and so I honestly did not know how this was going to turn out and I was so excited to see what happens. Well we got burlesque/lap dancing lessons, had a waiter who long over welcomed his stay by drinking the drinks and not serving us and of course a hot fireman stripper ;) ohhhh righhht. We also played drinking games and one of my favorites"pin the penis on the mucho man" which was hilarious because at that point we all were pretty out of it so we had girls walking into walls, tripping over and was not even close to the mucho man in the end. We also played this game where we each had 3 pegs and whoever said the word "drink" someone could steal a peg off you and if you had all your pegs taken you would have to drink. Unfortunately there was no loser as we all said the word many times but people just forgot to take the pegs, so I came second :D and was gifted a pair of kinky handcuffs which were then taken, opened and tried on all the girls. Anyways these photos were taken by Loans cousin Diep so once she left we all started to get rowdy haha. It was a really fun night, an awesome hens I'll never forget.

LONG WEAR AND CREAMINESS

The besite went to Singapore for a little holiday and while I was not being able to go due to work she asked if I wanted any duty free products, with no thought in my mind, I immediately said YES! I gave her my moolah and a list of the few things I wanted. She brought back Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner and the Creamy Concealer of which I asked for and unfortunately they ran out of the YSL Gloss Pur lip gloss I also wanted which is a bummer, so I guess I'll just buy it here, for like double the amount -.-
Anyways, this is my first gel eyeliner and oh lordy it is terrific! It dries instantly and is so smooth to put on, no mess, no hassle! Plus the creamy concealer is great, goes on really well by itself but covers more when I use the corrector with it. My face is covered with mostly Bobbi Brown products so it's nice to see how all the products go together as well as using the brushes too.

Octobers edition of Beauty Box monthly arrived last week and again I was all giddy to find the surprises hidden inside. Once opened and played around with the products chosen this month I was a tiny bit disappointed as I really enjoyed last months better but theres nothing really to complain about. The product I liked the most? not too sure on what yet as I haven't tried out the Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days and the John Frieda Shampoo and Conditioner, so I guess I can't make my judges yet. What I do liked the most though was Aquasource Moisturiser by Biotherm although the smell really does remind me of men cologne so I only use it at night time before bed. Calvin Kleins Shock One for Her & Him has a nice scent, a bit fruity and fun and so I gave babe the guys samples and he likes it too. Sheseido isn't one of my favourite brands but the compact foundation is quiet nifty and thankfully it's the colour for my skin, so I can't really complain. Although this month wasn't a wow factor to me, I still enjoy the little surprises as that is what Beauty Box's concept anyway so I'm excited for next month :*)

Rummaging through my closet and feeling this fine weather in Perth getting warmer and warmer as made me happy to finally wear shorts again and actually feel comfortable wearing them. I found these high waisted KOOKAI shorts the sister gave me ages ago and I have not worn them once, thinking of wearing them to Stereosonic for that bright colour I've been meaning to wear. As for the light nude/peach shorts, I bought them in Forever 21 in Singapore and I only got to wear them once there so I'm looking forward to wearing them here in the warmer days. They're really comfy and I love the flow to them as all my other shorts are you know.. "tight on the booty".

After minor complications with my beauty box subscription, all is fixed and I finally received my box last week in the mail. Instantly I was hyped because I have been waiting so long for it to arrive and it is my first time reviewing products which are being sent to sample and review, so you know I'm like a little kid at a candy store when I finally got it in the mail. I've tried every item and I am quite pleased with the products which were sent. My most favourite product out of the bunch would be the YSL Beauty Sleep as one of my favourite brands is YSL itself (although recently finding out L'Oreal owns them is heartbreaking) and having eye bags from lack of sleep is a win for this product because it has left me amazed with the results just the morning after using. My least favourite out of the bunch would likely be the nail strengthener just because I already have a perfectly fine nail strengthener and it's not a product I often use. The rest of the products are great, I love how we got 3 samples of good ol' OH LOLA perfume by Marc Jacobs, I love the fragrance plus the Playboy Play It Spicy isnt too bad itself yet I'm more of a perfume girl so I guess that'll last for a while. Lastly, Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil isn't too bad, it does clean my face pretty well after a day of wearing dark eye makeup and foundation and afterward it leaves my face silky soft, but I don't know if it's that by itself or whilst using my Clinique liquid facial soap, meh, it's still good. Can't wait for the October box to arrive, fingers crossed it came today in the mail as I'm at work at the moment.

The babe decided to take me to Rockpool in Burswood last Saturday night because we haven't tried it before and heard great reviews about it. To enter, we had to enter through two big doors which then leaded our way through a walkthrough filled with candles and mirrors. The entrance itself was amazing, something so different compared to any other restaurant I've been to, I was so uber excited to try the food. As we were seated I found it a little awkward that we were seated next to two couples right next to us, but thankfully they were on their way so we had the space to ourselves for the rest of our dining experience. With a entree to share of chilli squid and porkbelly, for mains babe got the emperor and I got lamb chops. The food is really nice, great proportions and yeah the price is pricey but it's worth it.

A night out with the girls, first started at Kelvins hotel party (free drinks) then kicked off at Metro City where it all went down. I can't remember how many drinks I drank, but a kudos for me for not throwing up after that tequila shot (I always have to throw up after tequila..it's just so disgusting) *pats back*! We always make it a night together, everything was great, minus the creepy old stalker who kept going near us wherever we went and having to call security on him twice before going up to him ourselves and telling him to fuck off. But the night ended well, bumped into childhood friends who I haven't seen in years, danced our asses off to good music, politely made chit chat with a guy I supposedly thought was Bruno Mars the entire time (he was Filipino..so I was close enough), kissed the girls good night, slept with the babe and woke up with no voice.. but no hangover ;)

My first Bobbi Brown foundation and I ended up choosing the Luminous Moisturizing Foundation because I want that "glow effect" after I apply it on and want a Bobbi Brown foundation to try with my Bobbi Brown foundation brush. Let me just say, it works like a charm and I really love the foundation itself. I think I'll stick to Bobbi Brown, I find the foundation is better than MAC's as it lasts longer on my face and is so easy to apply with the brush, it blends in naturally and feels very light and soft on my face. After I purchased the item the lady who had served me gave me two samples to try which were the Hydrating Rich Cream Cleanser and the Hydrating Face Moisturizer. I have not tried these samples yet but I may tonight when I get ready to go out with the girls. I definitely will feel very refreshed and ready to go!

Picked up these pieces from Priceline today from the $2.00 box and thought maybe I'd try them out just for the sake of their prices. I saw the Australis brushon perfection eyeshadow and picked it up because it seemed like something I'd like to try out. The shade is in avant-garde which is a neutral toned color on my eyelids, and to my surprise it works great as a base shadow to mix with other colors, and I can even wear it by itself for those days I cannot be bothered putting makeup on properly. The second item I picked up is Rimmel's exaggerate full colour lip liner definer in pure 005. Pure 005 is like a dark coral pink that suits great with my YSL rouge pur couture lipstick, and I indeed needed a liner to suit my lipstick for those red lip smacking occasions ;)

All in all I still don't think I'd buy from Australis because nothing really catches my eye from their products and sometimes Rimmel does test on animals when they "have" to which I think is complete bullshit.

Can never find anything to fit me properly these days, when I want to go for some retail therapy sessions. I was expecting to get skirts, pants, and dresses but ended up only getting two tops - Cutout shoulder chiffon top (Supre, inspired by Spencer from Pretty Little Liars), back open cape style silk top (Ally) and a long bright orange dress (Sportsgirl). Out of all of the stores I went to, surprisingly it was the ones I never intend to go into in the first place that had me buying these pieces. Also got a couple of accessories such as a green feather necklace (Sportsgirl) and new aviators (Forever New). I'm so into feathers now, I fell in love with the feather/cross earring I bought from Forever 21 whilst in Singapore, in which I still need a perfect outfit to wear with them. Anywho, sorry I haven't been blogging much, been so busy with work but now I'm at ease. Tonight I had dinner with the girls at work and had Korean BBQ (SO GOOD!) and beforehand went shopping with Kimie in the city and finally bought the Luminous Moisturizing Foundation, but I'll post that in my next post as well as with my Beauty Box, hopefully it arrives soon! I signed up last week, if only I signed up earlier I could of received it by now just like the girlies who have just received it - lucky you girls, but I'm so excited to try out the products. So I've got work tomorrow again, I'm going to have a shower and get ready to snuggle with babe, also gonna put my under eye patches on as my eyes have become so baggy - I NEED SLEEP!

Some pictures from last weeks party of the babes 21st held at his house. His sisters and I organised the party, at first it was meant to be a surprise but then it was just too hard for us to keep it a secret when we are such bad liars and he kept on asking "whats happening?". It was meant to be a 1920's vegas themed party but thanks to the party poopers (especially babe) who didn't want to dress, that was scratched off our list, until I thought, "let's get him a stripper and that'll be his surprise!" and so we did, and so he liked his surprise, and so I definitely liked it too.. after I got some action myself of course. The boys bought the babe an xbox 360 with games which was so sweet because they all have an xbox and the babe needed one so he could finally play with them online. The night was tremendously good, and by tremendously good I meant being with everyone and having tonnes of fun whilst drinking and not even getting drunk (ohhh yeah, I succeeded finally!). And oh yes, I am wearing the same blazer from the previous night before as I love it too much, nothing wrong with that aye.

I booked the reservation at Restaurant Amuse in East Perth for the family and close friends as we all thought it would be a good idea to eat there for babes 21st birthday. Amuse was awarded as Perth's top restaurant in 2010 and I've been dying to eat there. Thankfully I got it booked just in time for his birthday as the next booking available was next month! Ah, so let me talk about the food, it was amazing, the chef has such an amazing pallet and who'd to think coffee and beetroot went well together. The menu consisted of 11 courses which spread out through 4 hours of dining experience and each dish was so interesting and gorgeous each ingredient was special. What I love about Amuse is that they use such interesting ingredients that you think "will that work together" and surprisingly it really does, it's french but with a modern twist, they definitely use creativity and I love that. The proportions was just enough for me, I don't know about anyone else, but mostly the guys just scooped the dishes in their mouths, for me I like to taste every ingredient and enjoy the small cuts I make. Although the waiting duration was a bit overboard and to be honest I loved a restaurant called Jacksons better because their french food was more simple (same chef/owner of Amuse) I wouldn't mind going back there to try the Summers menu as they only do one menu per season. It was a great night all up, just being there with amazing people always brings out the best in everything.

Finally got to pick up my parcel from Bobbi Brown at the post office last week after the final notice in the mail. I received the basic brush collection I had bought as well as the organizer. The basic set collection includes the six following brushes - concealer, face blender, foundation, eye shadow, eye liner and eye brow. I got the organizer so I could put all my makeup and brushes in one makeup bag as I'm always taking everything to the babes house when I travel up there every week. The size is great and it has so much space inside plus two detachable mesh pouches, yet unfortunately I still can't fit all my cosmetics in, which means I still have to bring double cosmetic cases. Maybe it's just me who is so undecided on what I should really bring and leave behind. The brushes are really good, I really love how all brushes are so soft yet the eyebrow brush is a bit stiff and hurts my skin, but not to worry because I don't even use an eyebrow brush. I asked for the ultra fine eyeliner brush instead of the eyeliner brush because I see that I'm better with a more thin brush for my eyes, and it's perfect for me. I also received a mini extreme party mascara as a gift and a sample of their top rated skin foundation spf 15 which I used on the weekend and it's a definite buy but I'd really like to buy either their luminous moisturizing foundation or natural finish foundation which both is their best seller, so hopefully next week when I go to the city I can get either one. I actually haven't got a liquid foundation at the moment and I'm kinda missing the shine to the face that liquid foundation brings.

I got ready at 7:30pm even though dinner was at 10pm to try and skip filo time and because I actually like to dordle when getting ready for important dates. I dordled so much that by the time it was 9pm and we had to leave to pick up the babe's friends, I still hadn't done my hair. I got to dinner at exactly 10pm to find that it was only Jenni, Kat and I who was waiting for the rest of the party and even the birthday girl herself. Jian came 15 mins later and 5 minutes followed and the rest came. The night was superb, I enjoyed catching up and being with everyone, eating the yummy food and munching on the pretty cupcakes Jian had made. Surprisingly I didn't go clubbing afterward, babe wanted me home, and I was fine with that, cos this week it's babe's 21st and so I get to see the sweeties again for sure. On other news, I start my new job today, going in this afternoon for training and yesterday babe got a call to join a partnership which is very exciting news for him. I am so ready for change.

I woke up this morning thinking it was Sunday, miserable I felt after thinking the weekend was over and that I couldn't believe I had missed out and forgot about Jians birthday dinner. I was then reminded that today was only in fact Saturday and that I exhaled with a "oh thank goodness" as it's Jians birthday dinner tonight and all is good. Well not all is good, I've been loosing a lot of my memory recently, been forgetting dates, days and not noticing time as much as I should. Sister came back from Thailand and on her way from duty free she bought me rouge coco lipstick 05 mademoiselle and hydramax + active nutrition lip care balm. They go perfect together, their actually recommended to go with one another as the lip balm brings the lipstick out and lets it ride on smoothly and stay on pretty, no mess whatsoever. This lipstick is more of a everyday wear for me as it's color is natural on my lips, not too dark and not too nude, I am in love with it.

Friday 5th was mine and the boyfriends 6 years and 6 month anniversary and so he decided to make me a treasure hunt. The babe made these tiny scrolls which had clues inside hiding them around his room for me to find by figuring out the clues. The final clue was "un jumble these letters and that is where you'll find it" the letters were "LDSINB" which I figured spelt "blinds" aka behind the curtains. That is when I peeped through them and found my gift wrapped up ready to be opened. Thanks to my babe, I have finally gotten a macbook, I've always wanted one and what perfect timing after my old laptop crapped itself out on me. I adore it so much, although it was quite confusing at the start trying to figure shit out from being a windows person half of my life, but I'm getting there.

It was Julias 20th on Saturday, and before we headed to Metros we chilled at her apartment with just the close friends. Afterward Elaine and I was so knackered we fell asleep on each other in the car on the way home.

A few weeks ago, the babe took me to the C Restaurant for lunch as a surprise. We both love the C Restaurant, the food is really yummy (mix of French and Modern cuisine) and you get to see the overview of Perth itself. Then on Sunday it was a family outing to Hillarys Boat Harbour to go eat at The Breakwater and go Aqwa (Underwater World). It was really fun, we don't really do family outings but when we do it's always lovely.

Going shopping tonight with the babe, Elaine and Truong. Got to buy Jules a sweet ass present for her 20th birthday this Saturday at Metros. I am really looking forward to this weekend, eggcited! Hope you have an awesome! Take care beautiful people X

Last night I decided to try some Sheer Cover so I went to the shops today and bought the pack. I haven't quite used mineral foundation before as my shitty BYS mineral powder didn't quite work so after that I never bothered to buy cheap makeup every again, hence the big damage that cheap products do to my face has left my skin tone discolored with red marks everywhere. But hey, we all are not perfect so that's where makeup comes along for most of us girls. So this post is about what I wear on my face, from the moment I wake to the moment I sleep, and that's why I bought Sheer Cover because I've always wanted to try it from the great reviews, and not caring about the negative reviews, because you can't say anything until you've tried it for yourself. I got the free makeup test from the sweet lady at the kiosk and to be honest I fell in love, it feels so light and silky and covered my flaws the instant she had put the concealer on, you could definitely see the difference so it was a must buy. I wanted this pack so I could wear it to work and whenever I felt like I didn't want to wear so much makeup, also to not keep using my Chanel foundation, because even though Chanel foundations are the best in my books (been using Chanel for about 2 years now) Sheer Cover Mineral foundation is so simple and lightweight and it just feels so natural. Other cosmetics I use are the Bobbi Brown correcter, MAC Prep + Primer Beauty Balm, Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick, Shu Uemura Mascara and Stage Lip Liner. These cosmetics I got whilst on my holiday and are my favorite to use on one go, especially loving my first ever lipstick from YSL. I was never much of a lipstick fan until Elaine got me to try her YSL lippy and after she convinced me, I just had to get my own in the pur courture shade (which is still in elaine's clutch ahah) from which must I say I love the red lips now ;) And what I wear for when I sleep and on days where I just don't feel like wearing any makeup at all is Clinique. I love Clinque, especially their moisturizers. I ran out of my cleanser and toner about 3 months ago, and couldn't afford to buy a new one after needing to save that money for my holiday so I must admit I turned to Nivea which was a big no no for me. Nivea damaged my face a lot, but thank goodness on holiday I bought the moisturizer which helped repair my face and then just coming back the lady from Myers gave Loan, Thuy and I free samples to use. Using the steps 1-3 then using my hydrating moisturizer is so refreshing, after I finish the samples am going straight back to buy the pack again. I don't think I'd ever go back to using crappy cheap products on my face, I've learned my mistakes, but it's not just about high priced products, it's also about what your face is use to too :)

I've been back for 3 weeks now and still haven't come across to organizing all the photos from the holiday so I thought I'd stop by and just update this left alone, lonely blog of mine just to keep it in tact. So last Saturday night Elaine and I got dressed together and headed to Metro City to meet the other girls, Jules and Bridgette. It was my first night out since being back and to be honest, I've missed Metros a lot cos that's the place where I bump into many old friends who I haven't seen in such a long time. The night kicked off with free entry for the ladies, free glass of champagne (cheap I presume) and irresistible music. Had so much fun, gotta go back there next week for Jules 20th birthday. Until then, I'll get more photos from Elaine this Friday so I can finally update my blog about my holiday. I was going to do a purchasing post, but then again I left my lipstick in Elaine's clutch on Sat night, something I always do whenever we go out..
