Some few months ago I wrote a post „Big business on new generation toys: Webkinz” about sensational success of Webkinz corporation. Lately I decided to check how they are doing this year and found out that Webkinz position is stronger then ever. Retailers say that demand for Webkinz is skyrocketing at a rate not seen since the Beenie Babies craze of the late 1990s. And analysts say the toys are expected to be one of the hottest items of the upcoming holiday shopping season. Webkinz sure has a phenomenal success, but actually it enriches not only the owners of corporation, but also hundreds and thousands of shifty entrepreneurs who invented ways of parasitizing on this business.
